In a trial, a small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, an elderly grandmother to the stand. He approached her and asked; "Mrs.. Jones, do you know me?"

She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you're a big disappointment to me. You lie, cheat on your wife, manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs.. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?"

She again replied, "Why, yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster. He's lazy, bigoted, and has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women.One of them was your wife. Yes I know him."

The defense attorney almost died.The judge asked both lawyers to approach the bench and in a quiet voice said: "If either of you rascals asks her if she knows me, I'll send you to the electric chair."

Watery Experience

Monsoon has arrived in Hyderabad, bringing with it a great relief from scorching heat that we had been experiencing here from last few months. Rainy season has always been my favorite, but this time I was most eagerly waiting for it, as the summer in Hyderabad was getting really unbearable. I was more than happy when last week, monsoon finally announced its arrival with a huge downpour, and I could not have thought of any better way to celebrate it than going out and embracing the rain (though it was involuntarily). Here I would like to share my experience of last Thursday

Me along with my group of friends were planning to go out for lunch or dinner together, as it had been a long time since we went out together. Following a long series of mails discussing about various options for time and venue, we finally settled for dinner at Eat Street on Thursday.

Eat street is one of my favorite hang out place in Hyderabad. Situated at the side of Hussain Sagar lake, it is a cool place where we can chill out with friends. As the name suggests, here we can eat a variety of food items in the open air, enjoying the nice view of the lake.

Some of my friends could not take out time from their hectic work schedule at the last moment, nevertheless only six of us including me decided to go ahead. As planned, we left from office at around 6p.m. and caught MMTS train from Hi-Tech City to Necklace road. It was drizzling softly, making the environment very cool and nice.

Generally, it’s very hard to find a place to sit in Eat Street, in the evening. But as it was raining we could see lots of empty seats in the open air section, but all of them wet. We finally found a place to sit under a roof. We had a nice time, enjoying a variety of dishes like pani puri, bhel, frankie, pau bhaji...etc and cracking jokes on each other and talking about things that didn’t make any sense. We wrapped up with an ice cream and then prepared to leave for our homes.

Two of my friends went to station to catch train while other two went to bus stop. Me along with one of friend who stays nearby my place, started searching for auto. By that time, the soft drizzle had converted into heavy rain accompanied by frequent bursts of thunder and lightening. We walked for around 15 minutes, asking each and every auto wallah to take us to our place, but none of them would agree, telling that there is traffic jam due to heavy rain. We walked upto IMAX theatre and waited for some time hoping the rain to subside, but instead it kept increasing. As both of us were already fully drenched, we thought it’s better to walk than keep waiting.

Well, I don’t really mind getting wet in rain and I was actually enjoying it until the roads started getting flooded. Then began the tragedy, as most of the roads didn’t have proper pavements and at some points, water came up to knee level making it very difficult to walk. Having left with no other choice, we just waded through the muddy water, praying that we won’t come across any open manhole, at the same time cursing the concerned authorities for the pathetic condition of road drainage system. I couldn’t stop wondering if the arrival of monsoon has really brought relief or added menace to our lives. After walking for about half an hour, we finally managed to find an auto which took us to our place, thankfully ending our tedious journey.

It’s been a while I have not posted anything in my blog. Actually, I could not figure out what I should blog about and I was a bit busy with my office works too. As a matter of fact, I mostly blog from my office only as I don’t have internet access at my place right now. Being a software engineer, I have to spend more than 8 hours a day in front of computer screen doing my job. Before I started blogging, I used to pass my free time by chatting and forwarding mails. Now whenever I get some time off from work, I like to blog and read other’s blogs too. It’s a refreshing break from the monotonous job that I do.

It’s almost been a month that I started blogging. When I started my blog, I didn’t have much knowledge about blogging. Most of my friends had started blogging and they used to tell me everyday to check out their blogs. After seeing their blogs, I too got interested and decided to start my own blog. However, I didn’t have any idea what to post, so I just posted anything I got from my friends or found in some web sites. First few days I was enthusiastic about all these stuff. I was busy searching in net for various widgets to decorate my blog and also joined some blogging communities like mybloglog, blogcatalog, technorati. Initially only my few friends used to visit my blog. It was only after I registered my blog in ‘bloggingtofame’, I have started getting lots of new visitors. It has helped a lot in increasing visibility of my blog. The Viral Tag has also helped in boosting technorati ranking.

Last few days I observed that my enthusiasm for blogging is declining and I no more cared about updating my blog daily, which is not a good sign. So before it’s too late and I lose all my interest, I gathered all my efforts and started writing this post. Well, I have also decided that from now onwards, I’ll be blogging mostly about my personal experiences and feelings rather than the usual stuff I post. So you can expect to find some changes in my blog content. I’ll try my best to update it regularly though I can’t say for sure as I might not be able to give my time when work load is more. Hope to meet you soon in my next post. Till then... happy blogging!

This is a good opportunity for me to get that Promotion I've been wanting, so could you please pack enough Clothes for a week and set out my rod and fishing box, we're Leaving From the office & I will swing by the house to pick my things up" "Oh! Please pack my new blue silk pajamas."

The wife thinks this sounds a bit fishy but being the good wife she is, did exactly what her husband asked.

The following Weekend he came home a little tired but otherwise looking good.
The wife welcomed him home and asked if he caught many fish?He said, "Yes! Lots of Salmon, some Bluegill, and a few Swordfish. But why didn't you pack my new blue silk pajamas like I asked you to Do?"

The wife replied, "I did. They're in your fishing box....."

Management : Interesting experiment

This is based on an actual experiment conducted in U.K.

Put eight monkeys in a room. In the middle of the room is a ladder, leading to a bunch of bananas hanging from a hook on the ceiling. Each time a monkey tries to climb the ladder, all the monkeys are sprayed with ice water, which makes them miserable. Soon enough, whenever a monkey attempts to climb the ladder, all of the other monkeys, not wanting to be sprayed, set upon him and beat him up. Soon, none of the eight monkeys ever attempts to climb the ladder.

One of the original monkeys is then removed, and a new monkey is put in the room. Seeing the bananas and the ladder, he wonders why none of the other monkeys are doing obvious. But undaunted, he immediately begins to climb the ladder. All the other monkeys fall upon him and beat him silly. He has no idea why.However, he no longer attempts to climb the ladder.

A second original monkey is removed and replaced. The new comer again attempts to climb the ladder, but all the other monkeys hammer the crap out of him. This includes the previous new monkey, who, grateful that he's not on the receiving end this time, participates in the beating because all the other monkeys are doing it. However, he has no idea why he's attacking the new monkey.

One by one, all the original monkeys are replaced. Eight new monkeys are now in the room. None of them have ever been sprayed by ice water. None of them attempt to climb the ladder. All of them will enthusiastically beat up any new monkey who tries, without having any idea why.

Everest marathon sees historic Mark

"It's the king of fun to do the impossible," said Walt Disney, who mesmerized the world with his whim, optimism and magic. Irishman Mark Pollock, who cannot see, knows only too well what Disney meant. And he took on one of the world's most challenging sporting events - the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon - just for fun.

Nine years after losing his sight, the 31-year-old from Dublin finished the otherwise scary course that passes through the world's highest glaciers and moraines, in 16:27:39 seconds to become the first sightless person to do so.

"Proud to be here," the genial Dubliner said on crossing the finishing line. And why not? After all, he has achieved something that hasn't ever happened before. His feat was true testament to the book he co-authored recently - "Making It Happen".

The affable Irishman looked surprisingly fresh after the arduous effort that ended around midnight. "It doesn't affect me," Mark said to the Post with a grin, referring to his blindness when asked if he was worried when his partner informed him that it was getting dark.

If he had let the darker side of life conquer his spirit, he wouldn't be participating in the marathon organized by Himalaya Expeditions to coincide with May 29, the date the first humans conquered Mt Everest 54 years ago.

Relying on his trekking sticks connected to compatriot John O'Regan's and on his guidelines, Mark braved heavy downpour and slippery trails to complete the marathon that starts from Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364 meters.

"The race was very slow and tough. The first 10 km took more than five hours and it was always going to be late," Mark said.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Mark initially could not see with his right eye. But on the 10th of April 1998, he suddenly lost sight completely in both eyes when his left retina became detached. But, as events have proved, he has not lost his willpower.

Before losing his eyesight totally Mark was a rower. Six months after blindness he was back in sports. Since then Mark has taken to sports with a vengeance. He ran six marathons in one week in China's Gobi Desert in 2003. He also completed the North Pole marathon in 2004. With his success in the Everest Marathon he has completed the rare feat of doing both the lowest marathon on earth as well as the highest.

Mark completed the 50-km Dead Sea Ultra Marathon 400 meters below sea level in Jordan in 4 hrs and 42 minutes in April. He was also part of the Northern Ireland team that won silver and bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games in 2002.

"It is probably the toughest marathon we have ever done," Mark and John said in unison. "In other marathons, we can plan the race and conserve energy for the later part. But this race was tough at every stage," John added.

"I can't think of any tougher challenge than this at the moment," Mark said when asked what would be the next challenge for him.

Mark is also involved in charitable work for guide dogs and balances his life with daring missions and motivational speech. He lectures people on resilience, decision-making and creativity. Who would be better placed to speak on such topics?

An Ex-Wife's Revenge

She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases.

On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.

On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of Chardonnay.

When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp dipped in caviar, into the hollow of the curtain rods.

She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days. Then slowly, the house began to smell.

They tried everything; cleaning, mopping and airing the place out.Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets were steamed. Air Fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days, and in the end even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting.

Nothing worked. People stopped coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit.

Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move.

A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls.

Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly, and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back.

Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a Price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day.

She agreed and within the hour his lawyers delivered the paperwork.

A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company packs everything to take to their new home....

........including the curtain rods.

Polar reversal caused the Tsunami

Year 2012 will experience something very unique. The sun will experience a polar reversal and the earth will also experience a polar reversal. However terrestrial polar reversal takes a long process and has started already.

Polar reversal is process by which the North and South pole reverses position. According to a new study, when polar reversal is in early stage (which is now), the tectonic plates are heavily affected by the changing electromagnetic fields and the resultant change in flux characteristics affecting the gravity. During polar reversal the equilibrium between electromagnetic forces and the gravity of the earth as well as the other parts of the solar system and the galaxy is disturbed. The net effect is unpredictable erratic behavior of the continental and oceanic plates.

In the last six months, three most violent earthquakes happened in the last 150 years. This is accompanied by innumerable small quakes, under water volcanoes, mudslides and more. Simply put, the tectonic plates are slowly going out of equilibrium and are showing chaotic effects.

One day the priest was called away for an emergency. Not wanting to leave the confessional unattended, he called Santa D'costa (his New assistant) and asked him to cover for him.

Santa told him he would'nt know what to say, but the priest told him to stay with him for a little while and learn what to do. Santa joined the priest and then followed him into the confessional.

The Alarming Effects of Microwave Apparatus on Food and Humans

Microwave cooking ovens were originally researched and developed by German scientists to support mobile operations during the invasion of the Soviet Union। Had they perfected electronic equipment to prepare meals on a massive scale, the Nazis could have eliminated the logistical problems connected with cooking fuels while producing edible products in far less time than they could using traditional campfires. After the war, the Allies discovered the medical research and documentation concerning these apparatuses. The papers and experimental microwave equipment were transferred to the US War Department and classified for reference and scientific investigation. The Soviet Union also retrieved some of the devices and began to experiment on them separately.

The Russians - who have done the most diligent research into the biological effects of microwave ovens - have outlawed their use and issued an international warning about the biological and environmental damage that can result from the use of this and similar-frequency electronic apparatus.

Medical research summary

The most significant German research concerned with the biological effects of microwaves was done at the Humbolt-Universitat zu Berlin in 1942-43, during the Barbarossa military campaign. Beginning in 1957 and continuing up to the present, Russian studies in the field have been conducted at the Institute of Radio Technology. In most research, the foods were exposed to microwave propagation at an energy potential of 100 kilowatts per cubic centimetre per second, to the point considered acceptable for sanitary, normal ingestion.

The observations made by the German and Russian microwave researchers will be presented here in three categories: cancer-causing effects, destruction of nutritive value and biological effects of direct exposure of humans to microwave emissions.

1. Microwaved Foods Cause Tumors

The following effects have been observed when foods are subject to microwave emissions.

Effects on the foods themselves

Meats: Heating prepared meats sufficiently to ensure sanitary ingestion creates d-nitrosodiethanolamine, a well know cancer-causing agent.

Proteins: Active-protein, biomolecular compounds are destabilised.

Increase in radioactivity: A "binding effect" between the microwaved food and any atmospheric radioactivity is created, causing a marked increase in the amount of alpha and beta particle saturation in the food.

Milk and cereals: Cancer-causing agents are created in the protein-hydrolysate compounds in milk and cereal grains.

Frozen foods: Microwaves used to thaw frozen foods alter the catabolism (breakdown) of the glucoside and galactoside elements.

Resulting effects on the human body

Digestive system: The unstable catabolism of microwaved food alters their elemental food substances, causing disorders in the digestive system.

Lymphatic system: Due to chemical alterations within food substances, malfunctions occur in the lymphatic system, causing a degeneration of the body's ability to protect itself against certain forms of neoplastics (cancerous growths).

Free radicals: Certain trace-mineral molecular formations in plant substances - in particular, raw root vegetables - form cancer-causing free radicals.

Increased incidence of stomach and intestinal cancers: A statistically higher percentage of cancerous growths result in these organs, plus a generalised breakdown of the peripheral cellular tissues and a gradual degeneration of digestive and excretory functions.

2. Microwaves Reduce Food Value

Microwaves exposure caused significant decreases in the nutritive value of all foods studied. The following are the most important findings to date.

Vitamins and minerals made useless: In every food tested, the bioavailability of the following vital nutrients decreased: vitamin B complex, vitamins C and E, essential minerals and lipotropics.

Vital energy fields devastated: The vital energy field content of all tested foods dropped 60-90%. Digestibility of fruits and vegetables reduced: Microwaving lowers the metabolic behaviour and integration-process capability of alkaloids, glucosides, alactosides and nitrilosides.

Meat proteins worthless: It destroys the nutritive value of nucleoproteins in meats. All foods damaged: It greatly accelerates the structural disintegration of all foods tested.

3. Biological Effects of Microwaves

Exposure to microwave emissions also has a negative effect upon the general biological welfare of humans. This was not discovered until the Russians experimented with highly sophisticated equipment and discovered that humans can be adversely affected without even ingesting the food that have been subjected to microwave emissions. Merely entering the energy field of the food causes harmful side-effects that the Soviets outlawed all such microwave apparatus in 1976.

Here are the effects observed in humans having "direct" exposure to microwaves, that is, without their having consumed the irradiated food substances:

Life-energy field breakdown: Persons near microwave ovens in operation experience a breakdown of their life-energy fields which increases relative to the length of exposure.

Cellular energy decreases: The cellular-voltage parallels of individuals using the apparatus degenerate - especially in their blood and lymphatic serums.

Destabilized metabolism: The external-energy activated potentials of food utilisation are both destabilised and degenerated.

Cell damage: Internal cellular-membrane potentials during catabolic processes into the blood serum from the digestive process degenerate and destabilise.

Brain circuitry destruction: Electrical impulses in the junction potentials of the cerebrum degenerate and break down.

Nervous system: Nerve/electrical circuits degenerate and break down while energy-field symmetry is lost in the neuro-plexuses (nerve centres) in both the front and rear of the central and autonomic nervous systems.

Loss of bioelectric strength: The bioelectric strengths within the ascending reticular activating system (the system which controls the function of waking consciousness) go out of balance and lose their proper circuiting.

Loss of vital energies: Humans, animals and plants located within a 500-metre radius of the equipment in operation suffer a long-term, cumulative loss of vital energies.

Nervous and lymphatic systems damage: Long-lasting residual magnetic "deposits" become located throughout the nervous system and lymphatic system.

Hormone imbalances: The production of hormones and the maintenance of hormonal balance in both males and females becomes destabilised and interrupted.

Brainwave disruptions: Levels of disturbance in alpha-, delta- and theta-wave signal patterns are markedly higher than normal.

Psychological disorders: Because of the disarranged brain waves, negative psychological effects also result. These include loss of memory and ability to concentrate, suppressed emotional threshold, deceleration of intellective processes and interruptive sleep episodes in a statistically higher percentage of individuals subjected to continual range-emission field effects of microwave apparatus, from either cooking apparatus or transmission stations.

Potential Use In Mind Control

Due to the creation of random, residual magnetic deposits and binding within the biological systems of the body (nervous and lymphatic systems damage) which can ultimately affect the neurological systems (primarily the brain and nerve centres), longer-term depolarisation of tissue neuroelectronic circuits can result.

Because these effects can cause virtually irremissible damage to the neuroelectrical integrity of the various components of the nervous system, ingestion of microwaved foods is clearly contraindicated in all respects.

Their residual magnetism effect can render the psychoneural-receptor components of the brain more subject to influence by artificially induced, microwave-radio-frequency fields from transmission stations and TV relay networks.

Soviet neuropsychologists at Uralyera and Novosibirsk have theorised the possibility of psychotelemetric influence (i.e., affecting human behaviour by transmitting radio signals at controlled frequencies), causing subjects to comply - involuntarily and subliminally - with commands received through microwave transmissions acting upon their psychological energy fields.

For this reason, and due to the 28 other contradications listed above, the use of microwave apparatus in any form is definitely ill-advised. Present scientific opinion in many countries clearly opposes them, as exemplified by the mentioned Soviet ban.
