New shoes

2012-11-02T09:39:00.000-07:00

Its now officially winter and there are only 52 days until Christmas ! how close does that sound!! I haven't updated this in over a month now and only when I looked at the date did I realize how long I've left it! I'm such a dosser, Its not that I don't have time because I do its just because Its soooo cold outside that most of the time Id rather lay in bed with my hot water bottle than go out to the freezing cold. This post is just showing you all the new shoes that Ive purchased and will be wearing in my new blog posts! I promise I'm gona post an outfit on sunday and monday!! Its been too long and ive missed blogging.

I finally managed to buy myself the "prestigious Lita Jeffrey Campbell boots" It was seriously long overdue and already I'm thinking about where my next pair of Jeffrey Campbells is coming from!! honestly If you havent bought them yet buy them from office as they literally go with everything and are so comfy. As for the Topshop vectra5 slippers although I love them I am dissapointed as to the quality of them, granted they were cheap at £28 so what could I expect, but after wearing them a few times the sole is starting to lift on them!!. and as for the creepers, well they speak for themselves. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them :) Think I might even wear them in my next post. Has anyone else treated themselves to any nice shoes recently??

Back to the 80s

2012-09-27T07:04:00.000-07:00

Hey everyone, feels great to be back blogging and i promise I will have another post this week sometime! whats everyone been doing? Ive just started back at uni and it actually feels great to be back in a normal routine. This summer has been amazing but has been far too long at the same time! super excited for this week as all my tv shows start back e.g revenge, homeland, gossip girl, 90210 etc. is anyone else excited for their shows??

Levi denim jacket from Ebay. Silver crop top from Urban Outfitters, black crop underneath from Topshop, Skirt from ebay, belt from Urban outfitters, necklace from Primark and Heels from Jeffrey campbell!

I absolutely love this oversized denim jacket! was dying to buy myself one from Urban Outfitters but the price of £55 put me off. so i decided to go online and picked up this bargain for like £20! i think i might even put some studs on the shoulders similar to the ragged priest ones!

Welcome to the 74th annual hunger games, may the odds be forever in your favour

2012-09-10T09:15:00.000-07:00

I decided that after all the hype of the hunger games I just hate to read it! so i downloaded them all on to my kindle and honestly I can not put it down!! Im on the last book at the minute and this is probably the fastest ive ever read a trilogy of books! every opportunity I get Im reading it even whilst straightening my hair! I probably have too much time on my hands but Im not complaining!!! Ive been intending to write this blog post for a few days and only getting around to it now! im obsessed with the military/ army trend at the minute and everything im wearing includes the colours green, black white gold!

Hat from river island, top from topshop. belt from urban outfitters. shorts from topshop. shoes from Topshop and necklace from Primark

Sunny Day Shoes – statement wedge shoes for the summer

Looking for that perfect sexy shoe for a summer day? By elongating legs and adding height with wear-all-day comfort, wedge shoes are one of fashion’s heroes. Looking equally great with dresses, jeans, shorts or leggings, they’re a great way to instantly update your wardrobe, whilst giving a nod to some of 2012’s key fashion trends.

The right pair of wedge shoes will be your best friend when it comes to summer dressing. They are perfect for outdoor events, avoiding the dreaded sinking-in on grass that you normally get with heels. Let’s take a look at some of this year’s key statement styles.

Floral prints have featured heavily in this season’s look books. These pretty Catalan Floral Wedge Heels from Love Label (£38) are a great way of paying tribute to this key trend in a subtle way and have a great flirty and feminine feel. Their classic vintage appeal will make them a summer wardrobe staple for years to come. You could carry on the vintage look by combining them with a pair of cropped jeans or trousers, or if you are feeling more fashion-forward, go for a colour clash with a floral print skirt.

If it’s a bolder look you are after, then these Quetzal Colour Block Mary Jane Wedges (£38) would be perfect for you. The bold, block colours being band on-trend for the summer 2012 season and the summery coral and pink colours would look great teamed with a neutral shift dress for a perfect garden-party outfit.

Why not steal some celebrity style with these Bells Corsage Wedge Shoes (£40), designed by fashion icon Fearne Cotton? In her trademark quirky style, Fearne has made the ultra feminine a little unusual in this pair, with the cute corsage detail to the ankle. They are a perfect statement piece with real style impact to help you stand out from the crowd. They would look great with one of this season’s cute summer dresses, injecting instant personality into your summer style.

The unwavering popularity of the wedge shoe means it’s a fashion look that’s here to stay and with the fantastic range of colours and styles available, it’s easy to find your ideal look. And with over 130 different pairs to choose from, there’s no better place to start looking for your perfect fashion partner than Very.co.uk.

which of these shoes are your favourite???? I love the flower ones and they were in fact shown in LOOK magazine a few weeks back. a MUST have!!
