Life

2013-06-03T21:15:00.000-05:00

It's almost been a year since the last time I've posted something on here. I don't know where to even start, but my life has been in one roller coaster ride. I fell in love, started a new life, moved out, got my heart broken, went back home, started a new job, and had a falling out with my bff. Yeah, one hell of a ride all right!

I definitely have learned a lot these past couple of months. The lessons that I learned is something I will keep in mind forever. For now it's hard to really get into details as to what happened, but I can say that I'm a better person because of what happened. I have no regrets, and with everything that's happened I've learned to love life even more.

I'm definitely back into blogging, and I pray to god that I will never loose my passion for writing :).

Love Island

2011-07-10T22:40:00.001-05:00

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings
lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others,
including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island
was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.

Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve
the island paradise until the last possible moment.

When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it was
time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help.
Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked,
"Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?"
Richness answered, " I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and
gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a
beautiful vessel. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please."
"I can't help you", Vanity said, "You are all wet and will
damage my beautiful boat."

Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please
let me go with you." Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I
just need to be alone now."

Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, " Happiness, please
take me with you." But Happiness was so overjoyed that he
didn't hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, "Come Love,
I will take you with me." It was an elder.

Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the
elder his name.

When they arrived on land the elder went on his way.
Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked,
"Who was it that helped me?"

"It was Time", Knowledge answered.

"But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked.

Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,
"Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

The Script

Hands down the best concert I've ever been too, even better than Lollapalooza. I will never forget this amazing night, and I'm glad I got to spend it with my bff Pooja.

Orange you glad...

I'm all oranged out for the summer. There's something about this color, that I've been gravitating towards it lately. The lipstick So Chaud (matte finish) by MAC has been my go to lip color for the past two weeks, and I recently bought the Escada eau de toilette called Taj Sunset. The smell is perfect for the summer with a hint of mango and tangerine. Let's enjoy the summer with beautiful and colorful things!!!

If I was...

2011-05-19T22:12:00.001-05:00

If I was a month, I would be May.
If I was a day, Thursday.
If I was a time of day, I would be sunrise.
If I was a season, I would be Spring.
If I was a sea creature, I would be a star fish.
If I were an emotion, I would be in love.

If I was a country, I would be the Philippines.
If I was an item in a house, I’d be a bed.
If I was a tree I would be a oak tree.
If I was a flower, I would be a sun flower.
If I was weather I’d be a snow.
If I was a fruit I would be a watermelon.
If I was a colour I’d be lilac.

If I was a sound I’d sound like Adele when she sings.
If I was a dish I would be Sinigang anything.
If I was a taste I would taste like creme de brule.
If I was a song I’d be Judas by Lady Gaga.
If I was a pair of shoes… I would be a pair of TOMS.

Crabs galore

2011-05-05T10:48:00.003-05:00

My mom had me fly to Baltimore, Maryland and pick up these scrumptious Crabs that her friend purchased. I really wasn't in the mood to fly an hour and forty-five minutes just to pick up Crabs, but after eating this last night I'll go back every week if I have too. Their just so delicious, and I can eat a whole dozen in one sitting. If you live in the Baltimore area, you're lucky to be near these yummy creatures :).

Elvis and Anabelle love teaser from foreignfilmfox on Vimeo.

- Something about British guys that I can't get enough of.

IMDB:
Groomed by her overly ambitious mother, Anabelle is on the road to winning the Miss Texas Rose tiara when she dies tragically during a pageant. Her death lands her on the embalming table of Elvis, an embittered young man whose sense of family duty and love for his ailing father keep him from following his dreams. When Anabelle is miraculously resurrected on Elvis' embalming table, the two unexpectedly connect and sparks fly. With the help of each other and Elvis' father, they discover love, freedom and happiness as the real world and their own demons threaten to force them apart. Written by biggoldbird.
