Everlast, a rapper from New York was born in 1969 as Erik Schrody.
He was a member of the Hip-Hop Crew "House of Pain", which got especially famous with their song "Jump around".

Later in the 90's he began to produce his own music. He had a big succes with his album "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues" in 1998. It got 3 times platin in the USA.
The song "What it's Like" was nominated for a grammy. This song is also the best known.

Now, in 2011, he will release his new album, at "Songs of the Ungrateful Living". The first upcoming song of the album is "I get By" which I want to share with you, enjoy:

Point Break

Yesterday I watched the movie 'Point Break'. It remembered me at my surfing holidays...of course not the robbery in the movie.
It's a very nice one. Actors like Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze are playing it.

In the coastal town of Los Angeles, a gang of bank robbers call themselves the ex-presidents. commit their crimes while wearing masks of ex-presidents Reagan, Carter, Nixon and Johnson. The F.B.I. believes that the members of the gang could be surfers and send young agent Johnny Utah undercover at the beach to mix with the surfers and gather information. Utah meets surfer Bodhi and gets drawn into the lifestyle of his new friend.

Back from holidays

Now I'm back from my summer holidays. After my trip in Italy, the experience of the sinfullest mile, I was finally in France surfing.
I'm now back since a week and I'm missing the atlantique ocean.
I was there with a few friends for nearly three weeks. Sometimes we stood up early in the morning like 7 a.m. to be first in the ocean for surfing. Then we couldn't believe that there were most of the time surfers already surfing. By the break of dawn they got in.
The weeks we were there was also the peak season of the french summer holidays. So after dawn the ocean got more and more filled with surfers...sometimes very annoying! There are egoistic surfers who doesn't care of others and taking every wave they can get. Normally there is the rule that the one who is nearer by the wave has it for himself. That (the egoistic surfers) makes the sport, besides the force of the waves, very dangerous. But I assure you, that it is nevertheless one of the best...If you can handle your board it's an incredible and undescribable feeling.
At first you have to go in, means that you have to paddle against and to dive under the waves. After it you wait until a wave, nearly to breakdown, comes. Then you have to paddle as fast as you can, if you feel that the wave reached you, you jump on the board an surf the wave! Sounds easy but it isn't.

The sinfullest mile

Hey guys!

My last few days were awesome. At the moment I'm on the way back home and I'm still thinking of it...I was the last 2 days in Hamburg/germany and made in the night party in a street named "Reeperbahn".
The Reeperbahn is the center of the party district in Hamburg with its discos and Red-light corners. It is also called as 'the sinfullest mile in the world'.
On the streets are every kinds of persons. Mostly students. The most of the discos are free, but at the weekend you have to pay an entrance of 5 to 10 euro.
It is also not unusual that the prostitutes come to solicit you.
In my opinion it was great to make party there but often uncomfortable because of the 'offers'. I think sex for money is wrong!
Our party nights startet in the 99cent bar where we drank one or two "water" :)
Then we checked out the parties and celebrated until 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning.
Bottles were strictly forbidden. You have to pour your alcohol or other drinks in plastic cups. If not you have to pay 30 euros if the police get you.
So, if you'll be once in Hamburg or nearby then visit the Reeperbahn. For boys and girls it is an great experience!

Today I watched the video 'The Apple Tree'. It is a compilation of lots of movies with the soundtrack of Glitch Mob, one of my favourite electronic groups.
The Glitch Mob is a three-piece group from Los Angeles. The members are edIT, Boreta and Ooah. They were established in 2006.
Besides they made a remix with Daft Punk for the Movie TRON (watch here).

Today I was in the mood to google about Beer :) Sounds weird I know.
It is very interesting what you can find out about it. Here are some facts about the most delicious drink :)

1. Beer is the one of the oldest alcoholic beverages and the third most popular drink after water and tea.

2. Beer originates from 9500 BC when cereal was first farmed

3. About 4000 years ago, it was the accepted practice in Babylonia that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer, and because their calender was lunar based, this period was called the "honey month" or what we know to day as the "Honey moon"

The best (magic) trick

I arrived in Rome and it's fantastic.
I was last evening in a bar and have spoken with a funny guy. I've lost twice 1euro because we played a match-game. He explained me the trick and I was very excited.
Here for those who wants to try it too:

Game:

Start with 15 matches on the table. Each player has to take turns removing between 1-3 matches. The person with the last match loses.

Trick:

The secret is to leave him with 12 matches after the first cycle,(if he takes one you take 2,) leave him with 8 after the second cycle and 4 after the third. After that if he takes one you take one, if he takes two you take one, if he takes three you win.

In reality you can start with any number of matches as long as after the first round your victim ends up with a multiple of 4 and after that you subtract the number of matches he takes from four and remove the difference (if he takes three you take 1, 1+3=4)

If you fail to make your victim start with a multiple of 4 keep going and try to make him end up with it next time.

Don't use it wrongly!

Vegetarians have better sex?

Hi everybody.
Today I've watched a spot of the orginisation PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). It says that vegetarians have better sex. I was surprised about that fact and searched the internet for answers. Indeed I found some articles that demonstrates that theory.
NBC wrote about the statement of PETA that people who eat meat are "fat, sick and boring in bed".
Here is a excerpt of it:

"Beyond the overenthusiastic veggie love and flagrant sexism in the banned PETA super bowl ad, we were also dubious of the notion that vegetarians have better sex.

Maybe you know the guy Remi Gaillard. He's making crazy movies in public places and is posting them in the internet. Today I've watched this movie and I thought I must make a Pacman post.
