270 Hotel Berdiri di Kota Bandung berdasarkan data dari Web Dinas Pariwisata Jawa Barat.Kota Bandung dipastikan akan menambah pembangunan hotel baru hingga mencapai 270 unit atau mencapai 14.000 kamar. Kebutuhan kamar hotel itu dinilai untuk bisa memenuhi tingkat kunjungan wisatawan yang datang ke Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Pariwisata dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Kota Bandung, jumlah hotel yang telah berdiri mencapai 250 unit dengan total 11.000 kamar .Namun, jumlah itu dinilai masih kurang sehingga rencananya, Pemkot akan menambah kebutuhan tersebut hingga 270 unit atau menambah 14.000 kamar hotel.

Maraknya pembangunan hotel di Kota Bandung ini membuat Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI) Kota Bandung segera melakukan kajian terhadap kebutuhan kamar hotel tersebut. “Sekarang, pembangunan hotel baru di Kota Bandung terus berlangsung dengan tujuan menambah pendapatan asli daerah dan investasi. Padahal, jumlah kamar hotel ini perlu dikaji agar tidak terlalu penuh dan penyebarannya lebih merata,” kata Ketua PHRI Kota Bandung Momon Abdurochman saat dihubungi SINDO, kemarin.

Momon menyebutkan,kajian terhadap kebutuhan kamar hotel itu dinilai sangat diperlukan. Sebab, jangan sampai keberadaan kamar yang berlebihan bisa berdampak buruk pada dunia bisnis perhotelan. Menurut dia,Kota Bandung memang menjadi salah satu daerah yang paling banyak dikunjungi wisatawan,terutama saat weekend atau libur panjang. Kondisi itu diakui memang menyebabkan kamar hotel selalu penuh diisi para wisatawan.

Namun, pada hari biasa (weekday) banyak kamar yang kosong. “Begitu juga dengan sejumlah hotel yang letaknya di pinggiran Kota Bandung,itu juga harus diperhatikan,pada weekend sekalipun kadang hotel ini tidak full-booked,”ungkapnya. Kajian terhadap kebutuhan kamar hotel itu akan dilakukan PHRI dengan lembaga pendidikan pariwisata. Sebab,pembatasan pendirian kamar hotel memang harus dilakukan.

Hal itu untuk menjaga seluruh dampak perekonomian yang ada. Dia berharap,Pemkot Bandung dapat melaksanakan atau terlibat langsung dalam kajian ini. “Kami harap Pemkot dapat bekerja sama dengan para pelaku usaha untuk melakukan kajian bersama, kalau bisa juga mendanai program ini untuk pendataan Pemkot Bandung,” tandasnya.

Kepala Disbudpar Kota Bandung Priana Wirasaputra mengaku setuju terhadap kajian untuk pembatasan jumlah hotel.“Ada sekitar 20 hotel lagi yang sedang dibangun. Jumlahnya belum akan dibatasi karena membutuhkan kajian terlebih dahulu,” ujar dia, kemarin. Priana mengungkapkan, pembangunan hotel sangat identik dengan investasi yang dapat memengaruhi pembangunan Kota Bandung.

“Diharapkan setiap hotel dapat bersaing terutama pada manajemen pemasaran hotel dan dalam memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada tamunya,” imbuhnya. Dia memaparkan okupansi hotel di Kota Bandung sangat bervariasi, tergantung pada waktu. Jika pada saat hari biasa, katanya, okupansi hotel sebesar 50%. Sementara pada libur akhir pekan mencapai 70%dan liburan panjang mencapai 80%-90%.

Sementara itu,Wakil Wali Kota Bandung Ayi Vivananda menyatakan dukungannya terhadap banyaknya hotel yang berdiri di Kota Bandung. “Sekitar Rp98 miliar pendapatan asli daerah Kota Bandung disumbang dari sektor pariwisata. Ini bisa dilihat dari kunjungan turis pada saat weekdays yang mencapai 200 orang dan pada weekend jumlahnya naik berlipat ganda. Tentunya jumlah itu mengindikasikan kita sangat butuh penambahan jumlah kamar hotel,” papar Ayi. Ayi mengatakan, pihaknya siap memfasilitasi di bidang perizinan.“Perizinan akan sangat dimudahkan apabila sesuai prosedur, selain itu pembangunan hotel diharapkan membawa dampak baik bagi psikososial masyarakat,” kata Ayi.
