Finally Nascar has made a change that makes sense. Of all of the changes in the past few years with he exception of the safety rules the changes will make it much easier for us to understand. It will be easier to know as the race unfolds where your driver is in the points standings.

What do you you think is the state of Thoroughbred Horse Racing in the US? I remember the days when horses ran for years not just a couple of years. I have seen fields getting smaller. I do realize that this is a business and that putting a good horse out to stud may be more profitable than racing. What are your thoughts on this topic?

Coming up with fun vacation ideas in the current economy can be a challenge. Do you want to make it a couple of different day trips without any sleepovers, or make it a short one or two day stay? How far away do you want to travel? The longer the travel the less time spent at the locations attractions.

Contact the local Chamber of Commerce of the locations you would possibly go to for the attractions in that area. They should also have local Hotel/Motel and Bed and Breakfasts in the area.
