Michelle Rodriguez Says Only Black & Trashy Women Win Oscars

This chick is looking to set fire to the few bridges that she can actually cross. More after the jump.

It's all started with the movie "The Paperboy", which stars Nicole Kidman and directed by Lee Daniels. The movie was featured at this year's Cannes Film Festival, but was slammed with negative reviews. This is where Michelle Rodriguez comes in, because she was apparently at Cannes and loved the movie, especially Nicole Kidman's performance as a "wacko white trash slut."

Despite loving her performance and thinking it's Oscar worthy, she says Ms. Kidman has no chance to win because according to Ms. Rodriguez, you have to be "trashy and black" to get nominated. Michelle's exact words are below:

"I fucking loved it. One of my friends said, '[Nicole Kidman's] going to get nominated for an Oscar for that.' I was like, 'Nah, man. She’s not black!' I laugh, but it’s also very sad. It makes me want to cry. But I really believe. You have to be trashy and black to get nominated. You can’t just be trashy."

These comments on top of being shocking are ridiculous due to Ms. Kidman winning already having 2 Best Actress Oscars to her credit. It sounds like Michelle Rodriguez may have fallen off the wagon again.
