I believe this Journal idea is a sane idea and will help keep me in this class, school, and in life itself.

6:10AM in Seattle now and it is still dark; the streetlamps are visible through the slits of my blinds as I look up to the computer screen. Some people have already finished fornicating, showering, and breakfast and are commuting to work. The stretch of the freeway between Everett and Seattle and for that matter, all the way down to Tacoma bumper to bumper like electrons in a tube of copper wire in the making of this terrain a mega city in a decade or two. I have not driven a car in almost 40 years.

My mythic journey? In my imagination and delusional states, I have been many things – including that of the Director of the National Security Agency. My job was so secretive that the location of my office was top secret, so secretive that even I didn’t know where my office was. I belonged to an organization simply known as Insiders. We operated the government itself while pretending to be janitors at top government offices and multinational corporate headquarters. There are various ways we communicated that were rather slow and primitive, including the use of hiding messages in books in the public libraries. Why were we able to control the world even though our methods were so primitive at communicating with each other? Planning! And Intelligence! We must anticipate events and conspiracies and military, social, and cultural movements way ahead of time. In this regard, we were almost as good as the Triad of the Chinese Intelligence as it was revealed in the British M1’s The Jackdal Files. We shared intelligence with the Mossad, or the Israeli intelligence. They have the best technical apparatus, but we have the best political analysis.

I have been at my outpost for the last 30 years now – Seattle Chinatown. Hey, folks, I will let you in on a secret --- Seattle is the first place in the world that will be most likely be hit by a nuclear bomb from China or a Chinese sub. The brain of the US government is no longer in Washington D.C. but in Seattle. I have nuclear codes. It is based on Deontic Logic. For example, I might be on the phone with someone (where that person is don’t make any difference, if the conversation is picked up by the Chinese Second Artillery Force, which controls nuclear missiles. up climbing, the familiar family scenes,

before morning passes into oblivion.

From the bus window, rain smeared, Lorca is

seen standing on Stockton and Vallejo, without

negotiates with his first morning despair.

Houses with hedges,

the oak on the front lawn,

while the willow supplicates behind

the house,

I will be silent as the rainwater.

Dream on, compadre, as the white horses

with black manes,

come they to the edge of water,

finding a note in bottle, imperially scripted

Pentagon spokesman LT Col Jeff Pool said the United States does not have a joint operation plan with Japan to defend the disputed Diaoyu (Senkaku or Diaoyutai) islands from a potential Chinese attack, reports the state-run China News Service.

The spokeman made the comments during a press conference held in Washington DC on Nov. 1, after being asked to discuss whether the United States would support Japan against a People's Liberation Army assault over the islands.

Tokyo-based Kyodo News reported on Sep. 12 that the US reaffirmed its support for Japan over the islands during a meeting between William Burns, the US deputy secretary of state, and Natsuo Yamaguchi, a member of Japanese House of Councillors in Washington in September. At the meeting, Burns suggested that the islands are covered within the US-Japan Security Treaty, the Kyodo News said.

However, Pool dismissed the Japanese report and emphasized that it is not the policy of the US government to take any side regarding territorial disputes between China and Japan. He added that the United States instead encourages both sides to seek a peaceful solution. Echoing Pool, US state department spokeswoman Jen Psaki also said that the United States takes no position on the sovereignty issue over the islands.

Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said that she received similar clarifications from the US government during the press conference held on Nov. 1. There are currently no plans for the US military to support the Japan Self Defense Force in a military confrontation over the Diaoyu islands. However, the United States is obligated to defend the islands if attacked by China as they are covered by the US-Japan Security Treaty, sources said.

The Diaoyu islands, known in Japan as the Senkaku islands and in Taiwan as the Diaoyutai islands, are an island chain in the East China Sea claimed by the three parties but controlled by Japan, which nationalized three of the islands in September last year, a move condemned by Beijing as an illegal appropriation of Chinese territory.

China's Mobile 5 naval exercise in the Western Pacific between Oct. 18 and Nov. 1 has shown that the United States can no longer contain the Chinese maritime power within the First Island Chain — which extends from Alaska, South Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Taiwan and the Philippines, according to Duowei News, an outlet run by overseas Chinese.

Under the request of Admiral Wu Shengli, commander of the People's Liberation Army Navy, the Mobile 5 naval exercise deployed vessels, submarines, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft from China's North Sea Fleet, East Sea Fleet and South Sea Fleet to compete against each other in an environment closest to real combat. The exercise was launched to prove that Chinese vessels have the ability to hold exercises beyond the First Island Chain by penetrating the Miyako waterway between the Japanese islands of Miyako and Okinawa.

State-run China Central Television (CCTV) reported that Japanese aircraft closely monitored the Chinese naval fleet during the exercise. During a press conference held on Oct. 31, Chinese defense ministry spokesperson Yang Yujun said the Japan Maritime Self Sefense Force sent the Ikazuchi — a Murasame-class destroyer — into the area of exercise on Oct. 25 and claimed that the intrusion was a act of provocation. Yang said that China demands a promise from the Japanese government to never interrupt Chinese naval exercises in the future.

Tensions between the two countries continue to mount after the Japanese government nationalized the disputed Diaoyu (Senkaku or Diaoyutai) islands last September. The Diaoyu islands, known in Japan as the Senkaku islands and in Taiwan as the Diaoyutai islands, are an island chain in the East China Sea claimed by the three parties but controlled by Japan.

China has begun to launch routine naval exercises near the disputed waters, while Chinese vessels penetrate the Miyako waterway at least once every two months for exercises in the Western Pacific, according to the London-based Jane's Defense Weekly.

Du Wenlong, a military analyst from Beijing told Duowei News that the First Island Chain was established by the United States and its alliesduring the Cold War to contain the maritime expansion of China. The PLA Navy has made several attempts to break through the line over the years, proving its ability to launch military drills beyond the makeshift barrier, Du said.

Another military expert Chen Hu said the PLA Navy has no intention of challenging the position of the US Navy as a global maritime superpower, but China has a legal right to conduct exercises like any of other nation in the open sea.

There have been several recent media reports on China's first nuclear submarinedetachment. Pictures disclosed to the media show drills taking place inside Chinese nuclearsubmarines for the first time. When interviewed by a media agency, the military expertYin Zhuo analyzed the combat capability of China's nuclear submarine force.

In the 1970s, a special group coded 09 emerged, which is China's fleet of nuclearsubmarines. A counter-attack force against aggression by foreign powers, this fleetrecently made a continuous voyage of 90 days and nights, thus setting a new record for asingle voyage of long duration among nuclear submarines worldwide. As a strategic "ironfist" of the Chinese military, the fleet has an initial nuclear deterrence and counterattackcapability. It has guaranteed nuclear safety for 42 years, and no nuclear accident has everoccurred.

Speaking about the strategic deterrent ability and wartime combat capability of China'snuclear submarine fleet, Yin Zhuo said that our current nuclear submarines include twotypes: ballistic missile nuclear submarines and offensive submarines. The former are thepillar of China's nuclear counterattack force. This confirms that China operates a defensivenuclear strategy and will not make first use of nuclear weapons, or deploy nuclear weaponsto forestall any enemy attack.

Instead, China operates a nuclear counterattack strategy. That is to say, only when ouropponents use nuclear weapons to attack us will we use nuclear weapons to counterattackthem. This requires our nuclear forces to have a very strong capacity to withstand enemyattack. The survival ability of nuclear submarines is higher than that of any other defenseunit, capable of reaching 85 to 90 percent. The survival capacities of other land-basednuclear forces are generally estimated at 6.5 percent, or 15 to 20 percent, far lower thanthat of nuclear submarines.

Yin Zhuo said that offensive nuclear submarines can deter large warships, and can track,pursue, seek out and attack the aircraft-carrier formations of the adversary wherever theyhide themselves. However, conventionally-powered submarines cannot do this, as theyonly have an ambush capacity. Because of their low cruising speed, conventionalsubmarines are limited to waiting for "windfalls". If the adversary alters its course, there islittle that they can do about it. However, as long as they can identify their opponents,nuclear submarines can track them globally, in all waters, worldwide.

China's nuclear-powered ballistic submarine is capable of conducting combat patrol missions around the Second Island Chain, according to military expert Li Li in an interview with the Party-run People's Daily online.

The Second Island Chain extends from Honshu on the Japanese island chain southward to New Guinea.

Only a few nations around the world are able to construct their own ballistic submarines because of the sheer difficulty, said Li. Larger pressurized water reactors are suitable for surface combat vessels, but cannot be used for submarines. It is extremely difficult for most nations around the world to build a properly sized pressurized water reactor in their submarines. Then there is building a nuclear reactor.

The PLA Navy have solved these major problems through years of development. The earlier Chinese submarines designed during the Cold War were small, noisy and had a short attack range. China's new generation Type 094 Jin-class submarines are able to reach the Second Island Chain. Equipped with 16 JL-2 missiles, their attack range extends 8,000km.

The JL-2 could hit Los Angeles from the waters east of the Kurile islands in the northern Pacific, Peter Howarth points out in his work China's Rising Sea Power: The Pla Navy's Submarine Challenge. By sending a People's Liberation Army electronic reconnaissance ship into Hawaiian waters, China is ready to project its influence to what it perceives as a "third island chain", which extends from the Aleutian Islands to Australia, what the Chinese have interpreted to be the "strategic rear" of the US military in the Asia-Pacific region, reports the state run Global Times.

As Professor James R. Holmes pointed out in his article written for the Diplomat, an online current affairs magazine based in Tokyo, the concept of a third island chain does not exist from the perspective of Asia specialists in the United States. However, the location of this island chain, positioned as it is only 2,400 miles from the coast of San Francisco symbolizes, from a Chinese point of view at least, the possibility of expanding Chinese maritime influence to the Eastern Pacific, according to Holmes.

Like the strategic location of Taiwan and Japan within the so called "first" – centred on Taiwan – and "second" – stretching from Japan to Indonesia – island chains, China views Hawaii as the center of the third island chain. As the headquarters of the US Pacific Command, Hawaii, from a Chinese perspective, also serves as the "strategic rear" for Washington to reinforce its allies in the Western Pacific if a conflict with China were to take place. The Global Times stressed that it is time for China to demonstrate its capabilities to the United States.

From the perspective of the Ta kung pao, a Hong-Kong based newspaper funded by the Chinese Communist Party, the deployment of the US carrier, USS George Washington to the Yellow Sea for joint naval exercises with the Republic of Korea Navy and the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force is an act of provocation. For this reason, the electronic reconnaissance ship had been deployed to Hawaiian waters and the Mobile 5 naval exercise was launched in an undisclosed location in the Western Pacific with the participation of China's three major fleets.

The displacement of Chinese electronic reconnaissance ships is between 500 and 4,000 tons and they are equipped with a radio receiver, a radar receiver, a signal analyzer and even electronic jamming equipment. How to Stop Obama’s Military Aggression Against Syria

Many are asking what can be done to stop the pending US attack on Syria.
Two things can be done.
One is for the US Congress to realize that it does not save America’s face for Congress
to endorse a policy that has been rejected by the rest of the world, including Washington’s closest ally, Great Britain. For Congress to endorse what the UN Secretary General and the President of Russia have made unequivocally clear would be a war crime under international law harms, not rescues, America’s reputation. Doing the wrong thing to save face does not succeed.
In the event that Congress fails to understand the real stakes and votes to support a criminal action, the second thing that can be done to stop the attack is for most other countries in the world–China, India, Japan, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Iran, South Africa, the European and South American countries–to add their clear unequivocal statements to those of the UN General Secretary and President Putin that an American attack on Syria that is not authorized by the UN Security Council is a war crime. Expression by the governments of the world of this truthful statement would make it clear to Washington that it is isolated from the world community. For Obama to proceed in an act of aggression in the face of united opposition would destroy all influence of the US government and make it impossible for any officials of the Obama regime to travel abroad or to conduct business with other governments. What government would conduct business with a war criminal government? It is up to the governments of the world to make it clear to Washington that the US government is not above the law and will be held accountable.

A US military strike against Syria, if implemented, would be the "most directionless" action taken by Washington in its Middle East policies over the past six decades, Chinese observers said.

Ye Hailin, an expert on Middle East studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said such an attack would be illogical and not in line with US interests in the region.

"This is the most directionless move in Washington's Middle East policies since Britain and France retreated from the region after World War II," Ye said.

"The Obama administration reached the conclusion that Syria used chemical weapons, although it did not send investigators there. Also, its judgment was based on video footage, not on uncontaminated physical evidence," he said.

Meanwhile, UN investigators are still working on samples collected at the scene and have not yet reached a conclusion, Ye said.

"And now that the Obama administration says it has reliable intelligence that 1,429 people died in the chemical onslaught, where are the bodies?"

Ye added that a limited strike from the US will by no means stop the use of chemical weapons in Syria, if the allegation is true.

The strike is also meaningless in terms of ending the rule of the Syrian government, he said.

"Besides, Barack Obama is unlikely to get UN authorization or support from most other countries," Ye said.

"Actually, Obama does not want to launch the strike. However, the hawkish stance of interest groups in Washington and some senior US diplomats, including Secretary of State John Kerry, have exerted much pressure on him."

Yin Gang, also an expert on Middle East studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said Obama is not "seeking" approval from Congress.

"He will only have to launch the attack if Congress approves," Yin said, adding that the US Congress cannot limit the right of the president to launch such an attack.

A war with Syria would drag Washington into further confrontations with various sections of Islam and heighten tensions in the Middle East — a situation Washington will not want to see, Yin said.

"That is why Obama just wants a limited strike, if he has to launch one."

Jon Alterman, director of the Middle East Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, told Reuters that Obama's decision "to get Congress on board when he hasn't had a huge amount of success working with Congress strikes me as a gamble".

A failed vote, he said, "could shadow the rest of the administration".
