So, just about everyone in the beauty community knows who Jaclyn Hill. I mean how could you not? She's like one of the biggest beauty gurus on YouTube! She has worked with brands like Becca Cosmetics & one we are going to talk about today called Morphe! Morphe is well knows for their brushes obviously since they are really affordable and AMAZING quality. They also have their own makeup like with eye pallets, makeup setting sprays, liquid lipsticks, concealers ect.

One of their most sought after eye palettes happens to be the Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette. When this thing dropped it sold out faster than you could blink an eye. There was numerous restocks and every time it sold like hot cakes but I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. I can see why it was so hard to get..... No only is Jaclyn Hill one of the most respected people on YouTube, the eye looks she creates "OMG" to die for! When I heard about her collaborating with Morphe i knew I had to get my hands on it and I'm so glad I did. This palette is gorgeous!

The outer packaging is very minimal but it looks sleek so it's not that big of a deal. All the magic is on the inside when you open it up anyways, right? lol Let me start by saying these colors all work so well together and are so soft & creamy! There is such a variety from coppers to golds, pinks purples and she even threw in a couple fun colors like a peach and a nice military green. If you want an all around fun palette this is the way to go. Now, enough of all the chit chat... I'm sure you want to see some swatches! :)

Aren't they beautiful! Now, if you missed out on this launch you definitely need to try to snag the new palette Jaclyn & Morphe have came up with.... Yes, you heard me right! Jaclyn Hill is releasing a all new palette with completely new shades, formula, texture & feel. Morphe gave her complete access to come up with 35 BRAND new shades just for her MorphexJaclynHill palette! It's supposed to drop on the Morphe website on June 5th, 2017 according to her Instagram post!

Influenster Keurig 2.0 Review

I have a really excited review for ya today! I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the lucky Influenster users to review the new Keurig 2.0 Model K250. When i finally got my box in the mail I was in shock. I wasn't expecting anything as awesome as this baby! :)

It retails on Keurig.com for $119.99 and comes in 7 different colors. I'm really glad they sent black because it goes with pretty much every kitchen color you can think of! The color choices are White, Orange Zest, Sandy Pearl, Violet, Turquoise, Black & Strawberry. The color range is very beautiful and unique!

Keurig Descaling Solution & K-cups that was sent with the machine!

This Keurig has alot of amazing features! One of my favorite is the touch screen that allows you to customize your cup size (4,6,8 or 10oz) and the strength of your coffee as well as hot cocoa! I haven't saw a Keurig that done that until now!

It also comes with the 2.0 Brewing Technology. This is the technology that allows you to use either the K-cups, K-mugs, or K-carafe cups. It is designed to read the lid of each pod to allow you to specifically brew the perfect beverage every time! Because of this you can choose from 400 (Yes.... I said FOUR HUNDRED!!!!) different varieties and 60 different brands of coffee in your daily routine!!

This Keurig also has a 40 oz water reservoir on it. It's pretty nice that you don't have to go fill it up everyday like we did our old one. Plus if it gets to low it will alert you that you must add more water before continuing! Oh and I can't forget about the water filtration system it has. You don't have to worry about getting that nasty tasting coffee again because of unfiltered water. It comes with 1 filter handle and 2 charcoal filters that will last you a while. You will never have to worry about when to change them out either. The filter handle lets you set the date yourself so you know exactly when it's time!

The last thing included in the kit was the Keurig Descaling Solution. This is what you use when you need to remove scale or mineral build-up like calcium from you machine. Over time these deposits can build up in you machine so why not get rid of it while you can! :)

Final Verdict

This machine is amazing! Everyone in my family uses it daily! You can choose any kind of coffee or Hot Cocoa you want and not worry about making a whole pot only to waste it! Thanks so much to Influenster and Keurig for giving me the chance to test out and review this baby. WE LOVE IT!! :)

Yes, I know I have been a little M.I.A. lately but it have been so hectic with school ending, summer sports, vacations and the new business venture i have going on!

Ok ladies, so today I have decided to share with y'all my FEBRUARY IPSY BAG!! :) Let me just start off by saying I was really impressed with this months bag. I pretty much love everything I received. Out of all of it there is one item I'm on the fence about it. I'm sure as we go on you will figure out which one that is. Lol

First off.... Let's start out with the bag itself. This bag was right up my ally! PINK & ANIMAL PRINT!! :) The trim was white with a white IPSY zipper as well.

Now...... Lets move on to what was inside this cute little bag!!

As you can see this moths bag with pretty much ALL beauty related which... I LOVE!

I'm sure by now all of you know how much I love nail polish... Right? So imagine my excitement when I saw this pretty little thing in my bag! :)

Ok, so this is the product that I probably won't be using much of. You use it twice daily before your makeup application to reduce the appearance of age spots or sun spots. A full size is 15ml and cost $64.00 here.

One thing I was really excited to see was this blush. Fresh Melon is such a pretty redish pink and it will be perfect for the summer months ahead.

Colors By Laura K. Review: You're Shrinking, Gilbert!

" You're Shrinking, Gilbert!"

     You're Shrinking, Gilbert! (YSG) is described as a purple jelly base that is densely packed with silver holographic glitter. To get an opaque coverage it takes about three coats of this polish. Although, if you just wanted to use it as a top coat I'm sure that would be just as beautiful and take less product. Oh and it dries rough because of all the glitter so don't forget to use a good top coat or glitter smoother. Laura K. suggests Carpe Noctem Cosmetics' "Glitterslayer." Emily's shop (Carpe Noctem Cosmetics) is currently closed for the holidays but is supposed to reopen on January 1st. You can also check her Facebook for updates.

     This polish is absolutely beautiful! From the moment I opened the package I could tell that I was probably going to fall in love with this baby! I'm obsessed with purple at the moment but some how I didn't have anything similar to this in my collection. This lilac shade is so dainty on it's own but when you add all the silver holographic glitter to it, it just screams "LOOK AT ME!" It goes on very evenly, no clumping, and dried pretty fast. If you are looking for a nice pop of color and sparkle then you should definitely check out YSG!

     Below are a few shots I took to show you just how amazing YSG is! Now...... Just look at that sparkle! For some reason it reminds me of unicorns. Majestic & Unique!

Yes I know they are fictional but when I think of this these colors come to mind! LOL

Varnish Vixen Polish Review

Left: Anastasia / Right: Frog Prince

The two polishes I have to share with you today are Anastasia & Frog Prince. Like all of the other polishes they sell, these two are hand blended, using 3 free lacquer base, pigments, mica, & glitter. Also, like everything else sold in her shop, these are cruelty free!

Anastasia

The Etsy description for Anastasia is as follows:

Anastasia is a milky pink jelly nail polish with a mix of silver glitter with a touch of holographic pigment. It is beautiful alone or layered

This description is pretty much dead accurate! It is an absolutely perfect milky/baby doll pink shade with silver glitter in different shapes and sizes and a dusting of holographic pigments to help it sparkle & shine. It is pretty sheer so I guess you you be safe to call it a jelly. The picture above took me 3 coats to get the desired opacity & the application was very smooth. You know how sometime when you applying polish that contains some glitter you sometimes end up with clumps of glitter in one spot and no glitter at all in others? Well, surprisingly that didn't happen with this one. The glitter was evenly distributed when I applied it to my nails!

Frog Prince

Well, I couldn't find Frog Prince in the Etsy store so I will just describe it to you in my own words! :)

Frog Prince is a dark green Jelly based polish with a mixture of pink & lavender glitter in it.

This is definitely a true jelly polish! I say that because the swatch above is also 3 coats. As you can tell there is still a VNL (visible nail line) even after 3 coats of polish. That is why I say it's a TURE jelly. The application was super smooth and easy to use. There was also no glitter clumping or bald spots with this one also. Everything with on smoothly & evenly. It was definitely a no hassle polish. Frog Prince was also very glossy it really didn't need a top coat although I like to use one just to easy my mind.

I don't have ANYTHING like this in my collection. It's really unique! I think the next time I use it I might try to layer it with another polish. Now, I just have to find the perfect color to layer it with. Any suggestions? :)

Final Thoughts

Varnish Vixen has some really nice polishes. I encourage you to go check them out on Etsy when you get the chance. Everything I have seen looks pretty unique & the two I have tried seems to be really easy to apply and hassle free!

Bottle Shot: Stormy Night

F4 Polish Stormy Night over Zoya Julie

STORMY NIGHT is described as a clear based polish with mixed matte glitters in purple, black, white and blue in various shapes.

The colors in stormy night are absolutely beautiful. Especially the electric blue hex glitters that are in it. I have never seen glitters this color in any other polish. I love it! lol The only problem was I had a really hard time getting the bigger/chunkier glitters out of the bottle. I believe that might just be attributed to the fact that the brush on the mini sample polish isn't as big so there is less room to grab a hold of them. The smaller black glitters came out with no problem. I imagine it would probably be easier to remove them with the full size polish than the sample size. So, to fix that problem I just did one coat on my nail then fished around for the big chunky glitters and when I was able to grab some I just dabbed them into place on my nail. Problem Solved! :)

Bottle Shot: Piper

F4 Polish Piper over Zoya Julie

PIPER is described as a clear base with various sizes and shapes of purple and white matte glitters.

I must say.... I'm a sucker for a good purple polish so when I received this purple topper I was really excited I opened the sample package and saw Piper. This polish was MUCH easier to work with than Stormy Night was. It still had a little big of a problem with the chunky glitter not wanting to come out but it wasn't as bad. The only thing I can think of is maybe it had to do with the fact that it this bottle consists mostly of smaller glitters instead of being dominated by the larger glitters like Stormy Night. Either way, Piper ended up going on really nicely.

Since I have heard so many great things about her brand I was really excited to get the chance to share some of them with you! Bottle Shot: Pink-Tastic

Pink-Tastic is an AMAZING dusty pink polish. It's such a classy polish! I feel like it would be a perfect polish for the workplace or an elegant evening out. Just by looking at it in the bottle I figured it would be a pretty sheer polish & require a couple of coats but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the fact that it only took one coat to be fully opaque and the application was flawless. This is definitely one of my favorites out of the bunch!

Bottle Shot: Pink Color Tint Holo Top Coat

NailNation3000 Pink Color Tint Holo Top Coat over Zoyas Ali

This top coat is one of NailNation3000's new gray canceling top coats. Most holo top coats tend to give you polish a slight gray tint after you apply it. These on the other hand wont! If you want a beautiful hot pink holo mani then give this top coat a try. Pick out your favorite hot pink polish and apply this amazing top coat to it. It will be a true hot pink holo without that gray cast most holo top coats give. These are definitely a must try if your a holo lover! :)

Bottle Shot: Love Bites

Love Bites is beautiful deep vampy magenta with a slight holo shift. It was pretty stormy all week so I really couldn't pick up the holo in most of these. So, I took bottle shots so you all can get an idea of their holo goodness. Love Bites is also another beautiful one coater. The application was flawless and I think this polish would look beautiful on everyone!

Bottle Shot: A Mid Summer Nights Dream

NailNation3000 A Mid Summer Nights Dream

A Mid Summer Nights Dream is from NN3000's Dead Poets Collection. It is a beautiful steel gray with a slight scattered holo in it. It wasn't quite as opaque with one coat for my liking as the other colors were. It was just boarder line of needing a second coat. It really just depends on your preference weather you want to add a second coat or not. I think this will be a beautiful polish for the fall/winter season.

Ok, now on to my absolute favorite out of the whole bunch...... Mysterious! This polish is like nothing I own. It holographic purple that shifts to black depending on the angle. The application was very smooth but it did take three coats to get the coverage I wanted. I won't complain much because I LOVE the color.

Bottle Shot: Calypso

Now on to my last polish and only glitter of the bunch. Calypso! This polish is full of different types of glitters. It has a whole bunch of micro orange & a few micro blue glitters. It also contains some red & blue bar glitters as well as white hex glitters. This would be really cute as a glitter topper but I wanted to do a mani using only Calypso. This took about four coats to fully cover my nails. I personally am not to fond of orange but I think this would have been really nice for a Halloween inspired mani.

45 Second Top Coat & Pineapple Cuticle Oil

The last two things I was sent by the lovely Maria to review was the 45 Second Fast Dry Top Coat and the Pineapple Cuticle Oil. The top coat was a little thick but not to the point where it wasn't usable. It actually protected all of my manis really well. I don't know if it was just because of the top coat or the top coat and the amazing formula of NN3000s polish but this is one of the few polish brands I have found that will actually last nearly a week on me while I'm both working and being a mommy/wife. I'm lucky to get a full day or two out of most polishes. I have to say, indie makers sure do know how to make a long lasting polish!

Finally we have the Pineapple Cuticle Oil. THIS SMELLS AMAZING!!! :) I have never used a cuticle oil that smell or makes my nails feel as nice as this one does. When I put this one on it leave my cuticles feeling and looking amazing but not super oily like my J.R.Watkins Hand & Cuticle Salve does. I will be using the NN3000 as my go to cuticle oil and my J.R. Watkins when I really need some heavy duty cuticle therapy.

Final Opinion

Future Reflections

Future Reflections - Time To Pretend Collection - is described as a prismatic polish with navy blue/purple/pink shifts. This pretty much means that the color changed from navy blue to purple and to pink depending on the light and the angle in which you hold it. You know how a duo-chrome polish changes from one color to another in different angles? Well I guess this would be called a multi-chrome? since it has more of a color shift to it. It is an absolutely beautiful & holographic/multi-chrome polish. If you love duo-chrome/multi-chrome polishes or holographic polishes you should definitely try this one out! I can bet you wont be to disappointed. It's the best of both worlds! :)

Austin Powers

Austin Powers - is a gold holographic polish with gold flakes & tiny redish glitters. Pictures really DO NOT do this polish justice. I don't tend to gravitate towards gold polishes but this on I couldn't resist. The holo and the tiny red glitter really helps to tone down that bright gold and makes it wearable for most skin tones. For some reason the camera just doesn't seem to pick up how holographic this baby really is. It is breath taking in person! I can't wait to try it over a dark base. I think it will be beautiful! :)

Impressions

These were my first 2 EP's and I have to say I was definitely not disappointed. The formula is absolutely dreamy. They glide on smoothly and evenly and are really easy to clean up. Now as for lasting power, at work as a secretary where I am constantly on the computer either typing letters for my boss, letters to customers, looking up bills or taking payments. (I know it's a little more than a secretary usually does. I guess u can say we do a little of everything.) Plus I'm a mom so my son always needs me to do something for him. Needless to say, I am constantly using my hands. Seeing as I am always either typing, working with money or helping with this or that most polishes don't last a day or two on my hands. I was wowed by how long these actually lasted. Austin Powers made it a WHOLE WEEK without chipping!!! I have never had polish last that long on my nails. As for Future Reflections, it didn't last quite that long but it did make it about 4 days before I saw a single chip. To me, that is still amazing! If you are able to get your hands on these two, or any EP for that matter, then in my opinion your very lucky! Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed my post. Hey ladies!! Today I have a very exciting review for you all. I was recently lucky enough to meet a super sweet & lovely lady named Lynne Cooper in a facebook group for bloggers. She was reaching out to bloggers for reviews opportunities. When I saw the products her company offered I couldn't pass up! (So glad she allowed me chance to work with her company. She is an amazing person!) The Package

Disclaimer: These products were all sent to me free to review but my opinions are 100% honest and completely mine.

Makeup Brushes

The three makeup brushes I got to review are a flat shadow brush, a liner brush and a blush brush. These brushes are amazing & I'm a sucker for anything pink! lol You can tell these are high quality brushes because they are really nice, heavy and durable. The bristles are super soft and it makes them easy to deal with. I have been using the flat shadow brush to apply shadow to my lid & obviously I use the blush brush for my blush and sometimes to highlight my cheek bones. Then, I love using the liner brush to apply shadows to my lower lash line. It really works well for that. Since I received these brushes there hasn't been a day that I haven't used them.

Moodstruck Glorious Face & Eye Primer

The Moodstruck Glorious Face & Eye Primer (40ml $39) is made with Elastin, Dimethicone, Trehalose, Vitamin E, Hyaluronan, Butylene Glycol & Silk crosspolymer and described as being incredible long-wearing, & has sweat-proof coverage. It is 100% natural, paraben free, and doesn't contain any cheap fillers. This primer is amazing. It feels great on your skin and blends in easily. It can be used on both your face or eyes to help your makeup stay in place. I have tried it both ways and have to admit it has really good staying power. It doesn't take a whole lot to prime your whole face and keep it looking great. I put this on under my foundation in the morning before work and by the time I get back home (about 8 hrs) it still looks great to wear out! It's also a really good eye primer but I prefer mine to have some tint to it (like UD Primer Potion) that way everything looks smooth and even. As far as face primers go.... This is now my go to!

Moodstruck Minerals Pigment Powder / Moodstruck Minerals Blusher

(Top: Glamorous, Crushed, Playful, Sweet)
(Bottom: Curious, Heavenly, Vulnerable, Naïve)

(Mineralized Pigments: Crushed, Playful, Naïve, Curious, Vulnerable, Glamorous, Blusher: Sweet)

Moodstruck Minerals Pigments (1.25grams $10) and Blushers (5.25grams $35) are said to be 100% natural, chemical-free, mineral-based pigment powders, free of talc, oils, preservatives, perfumes, synthetic dyes, and parabens. These mineral eye shadow pigments are have very nice pigmentation (the only one that was a tad bit patchy at first was crushed but with some blending it turned out really nice), as well as this beautiful blush, but can be easily blended out to suit your needs. The pigments can all be used wet or dry depending on your preference. These swatches are just one swipe of color over no base. The shimmers are beautiful and sparkle like crazy. (I'm obsessed with sparkle and glitter so these stole my heart!) As for the matte colors, it's really hard find matte shadows that go on smoothly and opaque but these pigments did just that. The texture and pigmentation was very nice and the fall out didn't seem to be that bad. I am definitely a big fan of Younique Pigments and Blushes now!

For this look I used only 4 pigments and I really like how it turned out! As I said before, these pigments can be used dry for a more natural look or wet for a look that will definitely stand out. Since I was heading to work I decided to play it down a little and use them dry. I took Vulnerable and put it all over my lid. Next I placed Heavenly in my upper crease and blended it out with Curious. Next I took Glamorous and placed it in my outer V and slightly blended it into my lower crease to give it more definition. Lastly I just took Curious and placed it all over my brow bone for a little more sparkle!

Overall Opinion

Overall, on a scale of 1-10 I would have to give the products I have tried 9.8/10! If Crushed would have been a little smoother it would have been a 10/10 all the way. This company is really amazing & I'm looking forward to trying more from Younique Products in the near future. If you're looking for some really good natural makeup products or just want to try something new then you really should give them a chance. Hey girls! I am so excited to share with you my first ever NARS purchase! I was on the Nordstrom website looking at their anniversary sale items when I ran across the Limited Edition Voulez-Vous Coucher Avec Moi, Ce Soir? palette. (I have to say NARS definitly has some different names lol) It was love at first sight! I just couldn't pass it up. The colors are beautiful and the Nars packaging is so sleek and sophisticated!

This palette contains 2 beautiful blushes and 4 eye shadows. This color combination makes for a very nice neutral palette. It will also be great to take on trips since everything is so nicely organized into one travel friendly palette.

Blush Colors

Deep Throat - (Permanent) a flirty, sheer peach with a gold shimmer. Not as soft as the individual "Deep Throat" blush but it is still a really nicely pigmented and beautiful.

Dolce Vita - (Permanent) a matte dusty rose. This blush has a really slight sheen to it and it's beautiful. This will be the perfect blush to transition into fall with. FYI use a light hand. The pigmentation is amazing!

Eye Shadow Colors

Molokai - (Limited Edition) a nice shimmery champagne. The color is really nice and soft. Good pigmentation.

Antananarivo - (Limited Edition) a light matte brown. It took a couple of swipes to build the opacity up for the swatch. Its a nice blending color.

Lhasa - (Permanent) a lavender gray. I guess u could say its kind of a taupe color. This shadow is soft with nice pigmentation.

Ragoun - (Limited Edition) a dark brown with slight gold shimmer. This shadow is sort of in between for me. Its not really soft like Lhasa or Molokai but the color is really pretty and the pigmentation isn't bad.

The Look

For this eye look I used all of the eye shadows in this palette. I put Molokia all over the lid. Then I used Lhasa in my crease and Rogoun on the outer "V". Lastly, I just used Antananarivo to help blend the crease color out.

QVC Liptastic 7-pc Lip Discovery Collection

So, a while ago I decided I wanted to order some lip products off of QVC. While I was looking at the site I ran across an amazing deal. It was called the Liptastic 7-pc Lip Discovery Collection. You would receive 6 lipsticks/glosses and a cute makeup mirror for only $30 + shipping. Now seeing that these are all high end lip products that's a really nice deal & I just couldn't pass it up!

Now, when this arrived it was packaged so nicely. Everything was secured in its own little spot (from biggest to littlest) just like this picture showed on their website. I love it when a company takes pride in their packaging instead of just throwing everything it a box and letting it get all banged up and scratched. It makes you feel like you really received something special! Great job QVC!! :)

The first thing in the box was this adorable pink (faux-alligator skin?) mirror. This is such a stylish mirror. I keep it in my purse with me at all times. It's thin, compact and the perfect size.

This gloss is AMAZING! It leave the prettiest light pink shimmer on your lips and doesn't feel the slightest bit tacky or thick. The formula of this is very light weight. Definitely a must have for any girl who loves to sparkle!

Mally Liquid Lipstick in Starburst - Approx. Value - $15.03 for 0.09 oz

Shimmering Pink Shade

Starburst is a beautiful & sheer "My Lips But Better" shade with a beautiful sparkle. The formula is not to thick and I love how it has a brush instead of the doe foot applicators like alot of glosses have. It's a nice change.

Laura Geller Lip Pops Lip Gloss in Nolita Pink - Retail $17 at Laura Geller

Bright Pink Shade

This gloss is AWESOME! It is the best hot pink lip gloss I have ever tried. Most settle into the line of your lips, but not this Laura Geller Lip Pop. It leave your lips looking amazingly full and has them screaming "Look at me! Look at me!" This one is so opaque that just wearing it on your own would give you the bright pop of color you need for a night out! I just love it!

P.S. The applicator on this is really nice. It look kind of odd but it is really soft/bouncy & packs on the color!

Tart Lipsurgence Lip Luster in Glitzy - Approx. Value $1.50 for 0.06oz

Rosey Pink Shade

This Mini Tarte Lipsurgence it so cute! I love how little it is. You can just throw it in your clutch and go. It's another nice "Your Lips But Better" color with a nice pop of sparkle to it. It's definitely one you could wear every day!

It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in Je Ne Sais Quoi - Price $20 at QVC

Sheer Pink Shade

This Vitality Lip Flush is one of the main reasons I wanted to get this box. I have heard so many people talk about how amazing these things are so I couldn't pass it up. It's so amazing how in the tube there is no color to it at all but, when you put it on you lips it intently starts to change to a beautiful blush pink shade. Plus, they are so moisturizing! It feels just like a your putting on a lip balm and but in a lip stick form. The technology in these Vitality lip Flushes are mind blowing!

Bright Red Shade

The Makeup Forever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N45 was something I probable would have steered clear of in the stores. I don't wear many red lipsticks but this one is actually really nice. It looks extremely red in the tube but when you put it on it doesn't come off to wild. The formula of these Makeup Forever lipsticks are very creamy and moisturizing with a nice glossy look to them.

Unfortunately, this redish orange one doesn't work well with my skin tone so I was really disappointed. Hopefully I can eventually get another color because I'm sure I will LOVE these. I would definitely recommend trying these out if you are wanting to purchase a high end lip gloss.

These Brushes are not the "high" quality makeup brushes but they still work. I don't have a whole lot of makeup brushes so I was just happy to get some more. I have been using the blush brush for my contouring since I received my bag. Before I was just using my main blush brush for contouring & blush but I got so tired of getting bronzer mixed in with my blushes. So, I decided to try this puppy. It's nice for contouring since its smaller. I have had maybe 3 or 4 bristles fall out but seeing I have used it for a week I guess that's not to bad. I'll probably continue to use this until I can find another good contouring brush. If you have any suggestions leave me a comment below! :)

I have been subscribed to Ipsy for a few months & have LOVED every single bag I have received. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to blog about my bags or not. Well, this month I decided to go ahead and share it with you girls. Especially since the bag is leopard! (I'm obsessed with animal prints!)

The first thing I seen in my bag was a nice travel sized bottle of the Psssst! Instant Dry Shampoo. This is my favorite dry shampoo at the moment! :) Retail: $2.99 @ Ulta

I was also really excited to see the NYX mosaic powder in Dare! I love all my NYX products and this one didnt disappoint! All the colors are beautiful! I went ahead and swatched each color seprately and then mixed them together at the bottom so you have a idea of how they all work. Retail: $7.00 @ nyxcosmetics.com

The next product I recieved was the Jcat Sparkling Cream Palette in Suzie. I love the shades in this palette and was so excited to swatch them. The pigmentation wasn't exactly what I expected but they are workable. Some of the colors can be alittle patchy. Retail: $4.49 @ jcatbeauty.com

The last two products in my bag were absolutly beautiful. First I recieved the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter. It is so creamy and easy to apply. I have been mostly using it to highlight under my brow bone and patting to blend it in. Retail: $ 18.00 @ chella.com

The last product was a Starlook Lip liner in Tipsy. This ia a beautiful Matte pinky/coarl Lip liner. It Is hughighly pigmented and super creamy & moisturizing. I really love this lip liner. Retail: $12.00 @ starlook.com

MINT MANIS FOR TALIA JOY

Todays post is dedicated to the amazingly beautiful & talented Talia Joy Castellano (13 years old) also know as Taliajoy18 on YouTube.

Sadly on July 16th at 11:22am the world lost an amazing make-up artists/guru, honorary CoverGirl & child cancer research advocate. Talia had battled neuroblastoma for 7 years. On top of that, in August of 2012 she was also diagnosed with preleukemia. No matter what the world threw at her she never let it get her down. She always has that bight, bubbly smile & goofy personality and could brighten your day in no time.

The last photo posted on Talias instagram was of a mint mani {using Pop Nailglam Mint Magic} with her, her mother & Tammy. Nicole over at Nail Polish Wars thought a great way to show respect for Talia and her family would be to join the nail polish community together by doing a Mint Mani tribute.

So for my Mint Mani I just couldn't help but choose Mint Magic just like Talia. It's such a beautiful color. Plus, if it's good enough for Talia, then it's good enough for me. :) Lastly, I topped it off with Essies Luxeffects in Pearl Perfection. Talia was all about bright colors and blinging manis so I had to add some sparkle in there just for her!

My Secret Cupid Gift!!

So, I know this is a pretty late post but for some odd reason I hit the "Save" button instead of the "Publish" button when I finished it last month and just realized it! Whoops!! :)

Anyways, I participated in a Secret Cupid Swap for Valentines day & I had a blast. I don't know if it's just me but I think it's pretty fun & exciting to get to pick out something special for someone you have never met. This swap was organized on Elfster so everything was secret. None of us had a clue who was matched with whom. It was completely anonymous until we received your package. All we had to do was each make a wishlist & when we got our match we just used the wishlist they made to get an idea of what they liked.

Anyways, on to the goodies! :) My Secret Cupid was Shea @ OMG Wait What Polish is That! I have to say, she figured me out to the "T!" My package was perfect from the nail polish all the way down to the candy! :) Here is a pic of my package:

My new nail polish shelf

So, let me just start out by letting you all know that I have the most amazing husband in the world!! :)

When I came home from work a few weeks ago my husband had a surprise waiting on me. After working a long 12 hr shift, he decided to stay up the rest of the day to get the material & build me the cutest nail polish rack. I had been talking about wanting to make one for weeks but just never had the time. So when I walked in the house and saw this beauty my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it! Needless to say, I was like a kid in a candy store sorting out all of my nail polish & adding it to my pretty little rack.

The funny thing is, he just used his intuition on how big he thought it should be but he still happened to make it big enough to fit ALL of my higher end nail polish. It fit perfectly to the very last bottle! :)

Although, my polish collection has grown some since then! lol

Daily Lacquer Polish Review

So, I recently was lucky enough to have the wonderful Maggy of Daily Lacquer send me two of her polishes, both from the All You Need is Love Collection, for review.

Needless to say I was really excited when I saw this package in my mail box. I have been dying to try her polishes for the longest time since they are beautiful & all 3-free! The colors are so fun and girly. Plus her full size bottles are really unique and cute. They remind me of mini genie bottles. I also love the way she packaged her mini bottles. Each one is wrapped in some really frilly/girly bags. I guess you could say, as far as packaging goes she already has a A+ from me! :)

Now, on to the polishes them self. The two I received were Come What May & The Green Fairy!

When I first opened these I was immediately drawn to Come What May! It is absolutely stunning. I love the light gray base mixed with pink hearts and round glitters. I don't wear alot of grays but I really do like this one because the little pink hearts and glitter still make it girly, which I defiantly am! :)

It takes a few coats to get it opaque, I believe this was 3, but that makes sense because she describes it on her ETSY SITE as "a light grey crelly polish filled with hot pink holographic and matte glitter!! The lovers in the Moulin Rouge sang things song to remind each other that no matter what happens they would always love each other. <3. "

I recently lost one of my dogs who was like one of my kids.

He was black, white & turning gray too since he was a little old man.

So, this as a memorial mani for him! RIP Kodo!

We love you buddy!

When I first saw the "The Green Fairy" I was floored at how beautiful the holographic glitters were but, I was a little scared of it because I don't wear alot of greenish colors. They just don't seem to go well with my skin tone.

In the end tho I really did enjoy it. The polish didn't go on that green. After I got it on, it had more of a yellowish tint to it so I was really happy about that. It is described on the website as "a luscious gold/green creme polish filled with tiny specks of holographic gold glitter. The Green Fairy represents a night of naughty absinthe drinking in Paris before the journey to the Moulin Rouge begins for the young writer. Enjoy this beautiful polish on a night of fun and debauchery!"

The application of this one was great. It went on opaque in 2 coats & the drying time was amazing. By the time I finished putting the first coat on my right hand, my left hand was dry. I love not having to wait forever on a polish to dry. I guess because I'm a tad bit impatient. lol I mean what can I say, a mommys work is NEVER done! :) Unfortunately, I couldn't quite pick up the holographic glitter this polish has on my camera.

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Maggy of Daily Lacquer for sending me these polishes to review for her. I love them and I can not wait to try some more of you polishes. I will be making a purchase VERY SOON! :)

Goody QuickStyle Absorbent Microfiber Bristle Brush - $11.99 - I really do love this brush. I have alot of hair and its really thick so it takes hours and hours to dry. I can tell a difference when I use this brush. So glad this came in the box! :)
Kiss Nail Dress Nail Decals - $6.99 - These decals were really pretty, unique And easy to apply. I was going to wear them for New Years but they just didnt seem to last very long. If the product stuck to the nail better I would have loved it.
Eboost Natural Energy Drink Powder in Pink Lemonade - $39.00 for 30 -
N.Y.C Liquid Lipshine in "Nude York City" - $2.49 -This is a really nice gloss. The color is a great nude and the formula isnt as sticky as some other drug store glosses I have tried. I will continue to use it!
Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Clean-Up Mud - Aloe Vera & Willow - Under $2 - Ok so this mask was great. Not only was it fun to use and made my skin feel really nice, it also gave my son a good laugh. He kept making me chase him because he said I looked like a monster.
Quacker Instant Oatmeal - Cherry Pistachio Oatmeal -$1.79 a cup - well I do not like oatmeal myself so I handed this one off to my husband. Whenever he gives me the verdict on it I will let yall know!
$25 off at Sole Society - Im so excited abiut this. I have heard about Sole Society but have never been able to try them out! :)

Holiday Nail Art Challenge Day 10: Gifts

Well I don't have much to say about this one. I really don't like it up I needed to post something for the challenge. I think the main reason I don't like it is because I had to trim my nails down because I broke one off pretty short while cleaning.
Anyways, I used Zoyas "Blaze" and a white nail art polish.

Oh and please pay no mind to the white spots on my finger. That is from the acetone remover i used to clean up the polish. I didnt realize it looked like that till I already added the photo. Sorry!!

Holiday Nail Art Challenge Day 9: Holly

For my holly mani I decided for my base coat I wanted to use a mini color club polish I received in my Birchbox. The color was "Put A Pin In It." For the holy itself I used China Glaze "Glittering Garland" and OPI "Big Apple Red."

Holiday Nail Art Challenge Day 8: Inspired By A Holiday Movie

The holiday movie I tried to recreate was ELF! It's such a funny and unique Christmas movie. It like one of the best Christmas moody movies in my opinion. Will Ferrell is an amazing actor & I dont think he could do wrong in any movie.
Anyways, now for the mani!! :) I used China Glaze "Glittering Garland", NYC 134A, Sinful Colors Nail Art "Morning Breath", Pure Ice "Black Rage" and a silver no name polish.

Holiday Nail Art Challenge Day 7: Snowman

     Well I have had a sick little boy for the past week so I'm a tad bit late on my blog posts for the challenge. I had them done but just havnt had the chance to post them. He is starting to feel alittle better so I can finally get them on here for you all to see! :)
     For this main I used Essie "One Day Without Blues", OPI "Big Apple Red", NYC 134A, Ccolor Club "Snowflakes Top Coat", Pure Ice "Black Rage" & "Hot Tamales."
     I kind of wish I only used the color club top coat on my accent nail instead of on all of them but oh well! The will just have to do. :)

November Ipsy/My Glam Bag

Well, I know I'm a tad bit behind on posting about my November Ipsy/My Glam Bag but I figured better now than never. Right? I have to say I really like the bags they are sending out now that they changed to Ipsy. They are much more grown up and sophisticated than the ones I saw they used to send out. The bag is a nice chocolate brown with a gold zipper. They package also came with a $20 off code from JustFab.

Now, on to the good stuff. I know you were all wondering what was inside the bag...... Well here it is!

1. Nailtili Nail Lacquer in Millionaire ($13) - Now as you all know I am a nail-polish-aholic! I love nail polish and I can't help it. :) Millionaire is described as teal & gold tinsels awash in rose-gold micro-glitter. I have already made my money (plus some) back on this one product.

2.Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel ($3.60)- This is a clear gel that you use to lift and hold your eyebrow hairs and groom them into place.

3.Bare Escentuals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Dare Devil ($9) - This gloss volumizes for big, pouty, fuller looking lips. It is supposed to deliver a refreshing sensation and luminous shine while it hydrates, smooths and revitalizes your lips.

4.TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Eyeshadow in Matt Batali (around $3.83) - I was so excited to see this in my bag. I have never tried any of TheBalm eyeshadows but I do have a sample of their Mary-Lou Manizer from my Birchbox. I loved the highlighter so I was really happy to see the shadow in our bag. It's a nice matte dark brown color.

5.Starlet Cosmetics Eyeliner Pencils in Chocolate ($11) - This eyeliner is Talc & Paraben Free. You could either receive it in black or chocolate and somehow I ended up with chocolate. The only eyeliner color I use is black but I can't complain it still retails for more than I paid . :)

So this bag was approximately worth somewhere around $40.60. I'm very happy with this bag and can't wait to get many more from Ipsy!! :)
