If you adopt a pet from your local animal shelter the animal should have already been vet checked! No animal shelter adopts out sick or unhealthy pets as a general rule. Of course, there are exceptions, so ask! Just remember, all pets, whether from the shelter or the store, just like children, need regular doctor check-ups, vaccinations, and more. You can give the vaccinations yourself if you are comfortable with the idea (I do and it isn't that difficult). Besides, if you don't have a lot of money (gee, who does) your local animal shelter's adoption fees will cost a lot less than purchasing a pet from a pet store and you will be saving a life to boot!

Because the pressure inside their bodies is about equal to the water pressure outside their bodies. This is precisely the reason why each individual species of fish is limited to a very specific range of depths. Should the fish venture too deep, the pressures of the overhead water will indeed crush him. Should he venture too shallow, his internal body pressure will exceed that of its surroundings and he will (quite literally) explode. I should add that it would be possible for a fish to move into a depth range that is outside his normal sphere. The fish would have to do so very gradually, however, to give his body time to equalize the pressure difference.

They both were unharmed and the overwhelming gratitude of the little boy's mom made me realize just how precious life really is. How enlightening situations like this can be for all of us. It can really bring tears to your eyes at the lengths people will go to to help another, often putting their own life on the line. When I was 12 I also jumped in front of a car to save my three year old sister. I'm not sure why I did it. I just remember seeing my sister in danger. It is so good to know that there are good people out there in a society where every news report includes either unnecessary abuse or murder. I'm glad you posted this on here because it is food for thought for all.

It's bad for your joints because there's no give on concrete. If you have to jog on concrete get great shoes with shock absorbance. Otherwise, run on the grass or ground next to the concrete. This is the best solution.

Running Hot and Cold

There could be several problems. Did it have the same problem before? If so, you might have a deeper seat on the hot side. Second, pull out the stem and make sure there is nothing blocking it. Third, make sure you are using the right stem. Fourth, when you pull the stem out grease it well and try loosening the packing nut. Crank it all the way open and work it back and forth until it works properly. Fifth, make sure that the sleeve or the wall plate is not obstructing the movement of the stem. And last, if all else fails take the stem back and get a new one, as it might be defective. Good luck.
