REVIEW: LILY LOLO SHIMMER.

I was recently sent "Star Dust" shimmer by Lily Lolo to review, and I am excited to say that I love the product. First and foremost -- the most attractive thing about the product was that it is made with pure inert minerals and completely free of nano particles, talc, additives, harsh chemicals, parabans, gluten, bismuth oxychloride, dyes, fillers, fragrance, preservatives, petroleum based chemicals, and other questionable ingredients.

Note: This is not me.

This make-up is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Ok now onto the product, the shimmer is made to give you a fresh but radiant appearance and is said to act as a light reflector for that flawless look. I found that the product did just as advertised, and was easy to put on. No mess, and no questionable chemicals in the ingredients; what more could you ask for?

I would say that it does wear off easily -- but you can always re-apply as needed and with your favorite lotion if you'd like to. The Star Dust shimmer really brings out the best of your bone structure AND makes your face appear flawless in any light! Plus, if you need to be camera-ready I would definitely recommend using this product as it has become part of my personal make-up routine. Overall, I think this is affordable and practical for women who enjoy the look of flawless skin.

Singer-songwriter Joe Brooks has released a music video for his debut single "Superman." Fans are loving the song already, as it has over 10 million Myspace hits to date/ The single is one of the songs off his debut album Constellation Me, available August 17th on Universal Republic Records.

When you think of Rihanna, the first thing that comes to your mind is her music -- well now that may change. The singer is set to star in Battleship, which is based on the board game, according to PEOPLE. Rihanna will be acting in the movie along with True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard and Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch.

But it won't be anytime soon, the movie isn't set to hit theaters until May 2012. Do ya'll think she is going to be able to do it?! I personally think so, and I'd definitely love to see her act. We shall see!

Body Rock Sport by Kelly Dooley is currently selling this expensive sports bra, at a price of $1,850. The "chic" bra features a removable sterling silver bracelet and necklace from K&H's Trenta collection. I am not a fan of sports bras in the first place -- so I definitely wouldn't spend the money on this bra called "The Trenta Bra," but if money wasn't an issue; why not?! It is kinda cute, but seems a little unnecessary to be honest.

2010 will be quite a year for 17-year-old Shane Harper! Acclaimed rock band Jimmy Eat World announce a headlining North American tour kicking off September 21st in Atlanta, GA. The band will tour in support of their forthcoming new album Invented which is slated for a September 28th on DGC/Interscope. Fellow Phoenix resident Courtney Marie Andrews, who sings backing vocals on several tracks on Invented will be joining the band on tour.

Yesterday, July 21st, renowned contemporary artist Will Cotton unveiled his recently completed portrait of chart-topping recording artist, Katy Perry. Katy was present for the unveiling in the artist’s Lower East Side, Manhattan studio. The painting will also be featured as the cover of Katy’s new album, Teenage Dream, scheduled for US release on August 24th.

“The day I found Will Cotton, I knew I wanted to live in his cinematic cotton candy world. A fantastically art-directed music video and one piece of timeless album artwork later, I can proudly say I am more than a fan. Will has been a sweetheart every step of the way and always open to collaborative ideas. Zoo Seven's front man, Del Currie, recently stopped by San Diego's FM94.9 Local Show with DJ Tim Pyles to speak on the band's recently released debut album, Lifesaver. Currie also mentions his former Fono band mate, Andy Ridley, who offered some help when it came to recording drums for Lifesaver.

REVIEW: BIKINI KITCHEN'S BOOTY BUTTER TANNING LOTION.

I was recently sent a sample size of Bikini Kitchen's Booty Butter tanning lotion, to try out -- and I am pleased to share the results with ya'll. Booty Butter is a natural lotion which not only provides great benefits, but also gives you the gorgeous tan you are looking for. However, don't mistake this for "fake tanning" as it will not stain your skin nor color you similar to an oompa loompa.

When I first received the lotion I was a little skeptical -- I am not a huge fan of tanning lotion, I never paid much attention to it (truthfully don't have a problem getting a tan in the summer), but I went ahead and tried it anyways. You must shake the bottle for about 10 - 15 seconds to mix the ingredients up. The first thing I noticed as soon as I opened the bottle was how good it smells; it has a heavenly coffee smell to it. Tanning lotions don't usually smell so nice.

Upon putting the tanning lotion on, as Bikini Kitchen recommends...I also wore sunscreen protection. Though the website claims that you will see a difference within an hour, I would say it is more realistic to point towards about 2 hours. Regardless, the product definitely worked and I was very satisfied with the results. Not to mention I smelled really good!

Overall, the tanning lotion was effective and definitely added more of a bronze color onto my tan without making me orange or uneven. This will be my turn to product for the remainder of the summer, and I encourage ya'll to try it out for yourself. The product [27 oz] costs $27.95 -- a little pricey but definitely worth it (plus it'll last -- you only need to apply a little bit!); or you can test it out [1 oz] for $6.95.
