Former Liverpool Striker Wants Victor Moses Out of Liverpool

2014-01-09T01:24:00.000+00:00

Nigeria International Victor Moses has come under fire from former Liverpool striker John Aldridge.

In a recent Interview given by Aldridge to the Liverpool Echo he (Aldridge) says he wants Moses out as he believes Moses has failed to live up to expectations since joining Liverpool on loan from Chelsea last year.

According to Aldridge it would actually be in everybody’s best interests if the loan agreement between the Merseyside club and Chelsea was cancelled.

He also makes his feelings very clear in the following unflattering quotes about Victor Moses:

“I don’t know whether Chelsea would agree to take him back as they’ve got a big squad but it might be in everyone’s best interests if the loan is cancelled,” Aldridge wrote in his column this week.

“If Moses wants to stay at Liverpool until the end of the season then he needs to buck his ideas up. He’s in a precarious position. He needs to realise that and start fighting for a shirt” .

“Moses has breached the opposition defence just once since he joined Liverpool last September and that goal was scored in his début fixture against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium”.

“Victor Moses was handed a big opportunity when Brendan Rodgers brought him to Liverpool FC from Chelsea last summer,”

“Not many players get the chance to go out on loan to a bigger club but I don’t think he realises how lucky he is. When Moses arrived I thought he would be a decent acquisition. He did very well for Wigan and did okay during his first year at Chelsea.

“He talked about wanting to nail down a place at Anfield but to achieve that you need to deliver on the pitch and he hasn't done that. He has let himself down”.

Do you think Aldridge is right in wanting to see Moses go?

Under-Fire Stella Oduah Nigerian Minister of Civil Aviation

Nigerian Minister of Civil Aviation – Stella Oduah – is in a spot of bother after it emerged that she “sexed” up her educational credentials to include a phantom degree she supposedly obtained from St. Paul’s College in the United States.

In what now appears to be a damage-limitation move, all references to said University have gone from her Wikipedia, Facebook , personal web pages and even the official ministerial site.
One sources goes as far as stating the precise time (14:41 p.m. Nigerian time) her Wikipedia was lastly edited.

In all fairness Ms. Stella Oduah is yet to publicly respond to any of these allegations.

What do you think, Is it ever acceptable to spice up your CV in order to get a job?

Is Nicki Minaj Pregnant With Lil Wayne's Baby?

2014-01-08T17:31:00.001+00:00

Twitter land is awash with rumours that Nicki Minaj might be pregnant with Lil Wayne's baby.

The strange thing is not that Nicki Minaj might be pregnant, but that people doubt both their parenting skills.

I am sure you will recall that Lil Wayne already has 4 children, with 4 different women - 4X4 shall we say - so people find it difficult to see him as a father figure.

To make matters worse there are also rumours circulating to the effect that super producer DJ Khaled could be the baby’s daddy.

It is also reported that Nicki was lastly seen out and about on January 2 spotting a baby bump in the company of another man.

Here are examples of tweets "dissing" their parenting skills:

Nicki Minaj is pregnant with Lil Wayne’s baby? Oh Lord help that little one. — amy † (@mrs_favor23)

Rumor has it that Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne are having a baby. And we thought Snooki having a child was a problem… — kell. (@kesteff)

If the rumor is true… Nicki Minaj and lil Wayne’s baby will be one incoherent and messed up baby — βrίδgετ (@BridgetRoush)

Last year in 2013 at the Billboard Music Awards Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne performed together

What do you think, can Nicki at least make a good mum?

Was Beyonce Wrong To Use a NASA Challenger Audio in Her New Song?

2014-01-02T05:43:00.000+00:00

Apparently NASA has been unhappy about Beyonce's use of an audio clip from the 1986 Challenger space shuttle disaster in one of her new songs, "XO."

You will recall that during the failed space mission in 1986, the shuttle - Challenger - exploded mid-air during takeoff, killing all 8 astronauts on board.

NASA finally responded last Tuesday to Beyonce’s action, by issuing a statement through their press secretary, Lauren B. Worley, which read: "The Challenger accident is an important part of our history; a tragic reminder that space exploration is risky and should never be trivialized... NASA works every day to honor the legacy of our fallen astronauts as we carry out our mission to reach for new heights and explore the universe."

Family members of victims, including the wife of the shuttle's commander - June Scobee - also expressed their disappointment.

In her defence, Beyonce said "the song "was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you."

What do you think? Was Beyonce wrong to use Challenger lyrics in her new song?
