Image via WikipediaSEO- Search Engine Optimization is a technique with the help of which search engines index, find and display in search results-through Organic search(not sponsored)-when a search is made with keywords related to the site content.
In other words SEO means the process of optimizing a site so as to make them search engine friendly-increasing the chances of a website for being found in search results. Search engines generally crawl websites specifically for keywords related to the search made by a user . When you have a website and nice collection of content it may range from articles,to pics, and videos etc. then the next step you've got to do is start digging the internet for visitors, well yes....that's the most competitive part of internet marketing.
There are a number of ways to attract visitors to a site.......to name some these can range from adding a blog url to search engines, pinging, commenting on forums and groups with interests related to your site's content and leaving a link behind, publicizing through social networking sites, paid advertisements(like adwords), using site circles like Techorati,Stumble upon etc........I'll be further elaborating all these aspects on my upcoming articles. Clicks count : So does your time!

2011-06-10T19:53:00.000-07:00

Time is one of the most precious aspects of life, which once lost cannot be regained. Wasting time is therefore the worst of unnoticed mistakes that we make in life.
An hour is worth more than an empty promise or a few cents. Nowadays as internet marketing is getting under a swift competition, simultaneously a number of elements are growing that waste your time.
A large number of Paid To Click(PTC) sites are present on the internet, amongst which most are cheat funds, while some of them which are genuine have high payout levels such as $100,$200 .....
The banners and articles seem promising but in reality it is not so. One must make their earnings to the payout level for redeeming, making out such high payout levels may take months of hard work and patience.
Most of these sites merely pay $0.01-$0.05 per click which is not considerable when compared to your time*work*electricity*and internet bills. Because of which many opportunity hungry people commit sincere mistakes by wasting their weekends.
Nay i'm not criticizing the good ones as well, that pay their clients as promised. But some of the PTC websites are by anonymous individuals and internet marketers. Some are free to register while some charge a certain amount. And there's no guarantee whether you can make out the amount, on the other-hand you may be cheated. In my view one should take specific precautions while choosing for a PTC site or else it is better not to waste time by getting lured to hoaxes and frauds.

Social Sharing sites an effective means to drive traffic to your site........

Some of the most popular social platforms are facebook, twitter, stumbleupon etc. Amongst all Facebook and Twitter are at their height of popularity- one can use these sites in an effective way to get visitors to your sites. Now here is how we can advertise on Facebook...One can get world wide view of their ads by spending a certain amount through sidebar advertising.
Facebook, Twitter etc are the platforms where people of different backgrounds, professions, beliefs and interests meet and they serve as the right media to reach the king of people that one needs for his/her website. Facebook draws 50 million unique visitors monthly, about 35.2 percent of the internet population. Within a span of 6 years Facebook has become the world's largest social network with roughly half a billion uses worldwide. If you do not want to spend a few bucks then still there are ways in which you can get your visitors How? Here's an example- You can post website description and link as status updates so that your friends or their friends or any other interested person may follow the link to your site. On the otherhand you can send messages and e-mails consisting a short description and web link. If the contents are interesting and unique then the visitors may comeback again to checkout for newer content. But you must make sure that you do not send the messages an e-mails repeatedly, this may annoy the person and create a negative impact.Furthermore in the similar manner you can end tweets to your followers on Twitter. Stumbleupon, Orkut, yahoo groups, google groups etc. are similar examples. There are many other ways to boost traffic which i'll be elaborating in my upcoming posts

Graphic Designing ;) What's that?

2011-06-02T05:34:00.000-07:00

st imagine a webpage at present as those during the 80's, a book without any colourful illustration, advertisements without any specific vectors .........blah..,blah,...blah....would'nt it be boring?
Had not there been skilled graphic graphic designers these all would be in their initial form.
Graphic Designing nowadays is emerging as a lucrative career for those with a creative bent of mind. Graphic designing involves creating graphics by combining art and technology (attractive computer designed designs) How is this done? Well there are a number of programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Inkscape, 3D rendering pros. like 3d Max, Maya etc. which are programs specifically designed with sets of inbuilt tools to give special effects, tints, renderings etc. Graphic designers are employed by websites, advertising agencies, book publishers, design related companies, fashion magazines etc. In some cases some are hired by multiple clients.
Many of you may ask, whether it requires a college degree for pursuing a career in graphic designing.,.............My answer would be in two folds, first is that many graphic designers working today are self taught, Art is not a thing that can be purchased for a price. :)
I'm not despising the learned ones as well; nowadays every field of art is under a competition and for that a basic diploma or a 12 months.....two or three year college degree is important to have a more chance of getting employed.
Most of the employers in today's business world look for a written proof of one's eligibility. Therefore a professional training is very necessary. Moreover a certificate or a degree without an inner talent and willingness to work hard is of no use.

How to write good and unique contents for a blog/site.............................

2011-02-24T01:53:00.000-08:00

After you have a blog and all that you want is to get interested visitors ...what then?........here's what you have to do ......Patience is very essential, without which you'll stumble half way. It's not that you have to work that hard but, still some sincere efforts are needed. First of all you must have unique and interesting contents for your site....keep in mind that it must be all yours not copied form elsewhere especially web content, it is an exception for informative blogs or sites. I'm not barring you from visiting any page.....just going through helpful articles may help writing informatively arranged articles. Mind that having copied articles may provoke search engine servers to have your site blacklisted or either cause reduction of a blog's search engine rankings. If you're an adsense user please note that using copyrighted articles is against google adsense and blogger program policies. Providing back links to sites like wikipedia, works well. It will be far better if you use related sketches or picture to illustrate the articles, this will make the posts look attractive too.
Good articles are products of precision, grammatical accuracy, and creativity all these elements if combined in the right way can do wonders. Grammatical errors may leave negative impressions on readers' mind therefore, correct usage of grammar is necessary. An article should be up to the point so, don't beat about the bush. Try not to lengthen a topic by adding unnecessary information, rather be precise and clear. This will enhance clarity, and understanding of a reader. Using frequently used phrases may divert the attention of the readers. Therefore, make use of unique and self coined phrases ensuring that they suit the topic. Furthermore,
making the articles fun to read by providing unique and latest information, by giving explanatory examples etc can attract more returning visitors.
Article writing is considered a boon, if one knows how to present, illustrate and arrange wordings in the right manner. In modern competitive world hard work is an important aspect in every field and if one combines hard work with skill and patience than success is for sure. Same thing implies to article writing too.

Malware in the disguise of an antivirus..................................

2011-02-22T17:46:00.000-08:00

Yesterday i had the worst of all experiences of using an antivirus. Doesn't that sound odd ......yes, it does. All of a sudden my PC slowed down, which made me go insane. AArrgh!! I tried every means to fix it but for vain. Even system restore didn't work. Almost every program stuck with a common error message **Not Responding** . At the moment i could not figure out the exact cause, using registry error fixers repeatedly made it even worse. At last! it came my mind that it could be the affect of an anti-virus that i had installed a day ago. That was Eset NOD32 Anti-virus, quickly i opened the control panel to uninstall it, but to my astonishment remove option was missing. This made me quite sure that it was because of the stuff only that my comp. was malfunctioning. After that i Googled for the uninstaller a got one downloaded from its company forum. Thereafter, i uninstalled the program and my computer was the same as before.
I'm not personally criticizing a product but sharing my experience, i'm not quite sure about how it works on other computers. It may be working well on other computers. Anybody having similiar experience may leave a comment.
