Movie site?! Maybe

2011-03-16T11:45:00.000-07:00

HEY!

I'm thinking of building a site VERY similar to icefilms.info or ninjavideo. I want to use icefilm's idea of hosting on megaupload. That way I will not get in legal trouble. Would anyone be interested in seeing this happen or interested in helping me? It will probably be at a .me address and completely coded by myself.

Im posting this on both blogs so everyone can see.

Cho'Gath Guide!

2011-03-13T08:50:00.000-07:00

Okay my last guide went really in depth and took a long time to type out. I'd like to make these quick as they shouldn't take much explaining.

Anyways... I play an AD Cho'Gath. Which is a little weird. I figure atk speed and his Vorpal Spikes do a lot of damage.

I start with attack speed runes, with crit chance quints.

First item I grab is Rejuvenation Bead and SIX health potions. I'm not dying anytime soon.

After that I either finish building Emblem of Valor or get Berserker's Greaves.

Once I have those items, Its free kill time :D

More attack speed and movement speed is great. So one or two phantom dancers isnt bad.

After that just build whatever you see fit.

AD Cho is a lot like playing the Alien from Alien. Hide wait, attack with everything, back into hiding.

WARNING: People are dumb and think Cho is strictly a tank. People will yell at you until you begin getting kills. Cho isn't even really a tank. He is more of a beefy dps like an Olaf.

Fiddlesticks, The Harbinger of Doom

2011-03-12T07:45:00.000-08:00

For nearly twenty years, Fiddlesticks has stood alone in the easternmost summoning chamber of the Institute of War. Only the burning emerald light of his unearthly gaze pierces the musty darkness of his dust-covered home. It is here that the Harbinger of Doom keeps a silent vigil. His is a cautionary tale of power run amok, taught to all summoners within the League. Decades ago, there existed a powerful rune mage from Zaun - Istvaan. At the end of the fifth Rune War, he became one of the League's first summoners. Too much a prisoner to the old ways of magic, Istvaan stepped further and further outside the rules of conduct in the League. In what was ultimately his last match, his reach finally exceeded his grasp. Sealing himself inside the easternmost summoning chamber, he began incanting the most forbidden of rituals - an extra-planar summoning. What exactly happened inside that chamber remains unknown. No champion came to represent Zaun that day in Summoner's Rift. Only silence echoed back from repeated knocks on the chamber door. The first apprentice who entered was cut down immediately by an unearthly scythe. What few who followed and survived were driven mad by fear, mere husks of men gibbering about crows and death. Afraid of the evil even Istvaan could not control, the League sealed all exits to the chamber, hoping they could contain what they could not destroy. Years went by, but the wooden figure within never moved save to slay any foolish enough to enter. Seeing no recourse to reclaim the chamber, the Council instead devised a use for Fiddlesticks: executioner. While he comes to life and seemingly abides by the rules of summoning in the Fields of Justice, what he awaits inside his chamber is unknown. His unmoving face yields no clues, and his scythe stands ready to strike down any who stand before him. Those who say 'you have nothing to fear but fear itself' have not yet felt the crows.

Dread
Nearby enemy champions have their magic resistance reduced by 10.
This is good little passive that works great at the start.

Terrify
Strikes a target unit with fear, preventing it from taking any actions and causing it to run about aimlessly in fear for the duration.
One of the skills that makes fiddles! At rank 5 it can fear an enemy for three seconds! OMG FIDDLES FEAR SO OP. Yeah you will hear that almost every game.

Drain
Fiddlesticks channels to drain life each second from an enemy unit for five seconds.
Awesome ability. If your running low on hp drain a minion, if an enemy is close by, drain him. Very seldom will an enemy champion actually be able to out dps your drain and kill you.

Dark Wind
Fiddlesticks throws a crow that strikes an enemy target then continues to bounce from that enemy unit to another nearby enemy unit and may strike the same target multiple times. Each strike deals 100 (+0.35 per ability power) magic damage and silences for 1.2 seconds for each strike.
This ability silences enemies, I level is up last as I prefer to have a huge fear for getting kills.

Crowstorm
Fiddlesticks channels for 2 seconds and then flashes to a nearby target location with a murder of crows flock wildly around him for 5 seconds, dealing magic damage each second to all enemy units in the area.
Fiddles fucks shit up. Hide behind a wall, ult, fear, drain, free kill. Repeat every time ult comes back.

Alright so you want to play fiddles? First make sure you have some decent runes. I prefer flat ap runes for fids. I'm just working on getting all ap runes right now, this is what I am using:
(pic incoming)

Items! Pretty easy. Just buy these in this order.

Buy an Amplifying Tome right off the start.
+20 Ability Power

Also grab two health pots then go to the gank.

Next depending on how much money you have when you return buy either Meja's Soul Stealer
UNIQUE Passive: Your champion gains 8 ability power per stack, receiving 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist. This effect can stack 20 times; you lose a third of your stacks if you die. At 20 stacks, your champion's cooldowns are reduced by 15%.

or Sorcerer's Shoes. Now buy the one you don't have. Get kills and stacks.
+20 Magic Penetration UNIQUE Passive: Enhanced Movement 2

After that buy Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Start with Giant's Belt, as fiddles will need the extra hp at this point.
+ 500 Health + 80 Ability Power
UNIQUE Passive: Dealing spell damage slows the target's Movement Speed by 35% for 1.5 seconds (15% for multi-target and damage-over-time spells).

Now buy Rabadon's Deathcap. If you weren't OP already you will be now.
+155 Ability Power
Unique Passive: Increases Ability Power by 30%.

Skilling order!
I start with drain to do max damage during gank. After that I get terrify then ONLY level terrify, leveling up drain when terrify isnt available. Keep leveling your ult every chance too. Finally level Dark Wind last.

Attack Order!
Ult -> Fear -> Drain
Easy champion killer.

Summoner Spells
Ghost - For running away or to teamfights.
Flash - Not only is it great for chasing through walls or running to team fights, it also doubles fiddles ult. Cast ult over wall, flash to enemies. Fear. Drain. EASIER champion killer as this is not expected.

Thats it. Ill post my game history. Usually in 3vs3 I can get 14 kills with 0 deaths. Great score :)

Welcome to LeagueOfLegends.blogspot.com

2011-03-12T07:16:00.000-08:00

Hey! Welcome everyone. :)
I've decided to help people out with this game by posting my builds along with other league related things. I am level 30 so I do have a full runset on most of my characters. This drastically increases my survival early on. I suggest if your serious about LoL you get to level 30 fast.
