Malaysia Airlines MH17 crashed in eastern Ukraine, believed to be a result of being shot.

Ukrainian government declared that Malaysia Airlines passenger plane shot down in eastern, regions are being pro-Russian rebel base.
President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, said the plane crashed due to "acts of terrorism".

"We would like to emphasize that this is not an accident or disaster. This is terrorism," the president said Poroschenko.
Ukrainian officials say 295 people on the plane were killed.
Included among the 154 passengers were Dutch citizens and Earn 11 Indonesian citizens.
Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak, said it had received notification about Malaysia Airlines plane shooting.
"The Ukrainian authorities believe that this plane was shot down. At this stage Malaysia has not been able to confirm the cause of this tragedy," said Prime Minister Razak in Kuala Lumpur, Friday morning (18/07).
'Exposed missiles'
"But we'll find out what happened to this flight. Investigation will be thorough. When the plane was shot down, we demand that the perpetrators be brought to justice," he said.
A United States intelligence sources in Washington told the Associated Press that the Malaysian passenger plane believed crashed due to surface-to-air missiles.
He said the American government is still gathering information, but most likely this aircraft missile exposed.
The claim that the plane was shot down has been denied by the rebels in eastern Ukraine.
MH17 aircraft with flight number being on the way from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed on Thursday afternoon local time.
More than half of the passengers in mind is a Dutch citizen.

Malaysia Airlines MH 17 aircraft on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
Russia's Interfax news agency reported a Malaysia Airlines plane crashed in the Ukraine near the border with Russia.

The report is based on sources in the aviation industry.

The Boeing 777 carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur and crashed about 50 miles before entering Russian territory.
Sources quoted by Interfax said the plane burned on the ground.
A spokesman at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport said they were looking into the crash report but masuh not been informed so far.
While an official of the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia told the Reuters news agency that they had not received any information about the plane that crashed.
But Twitter messages Malaysia Airlines said, "Lost contact with MH17 from Amsterdam."
"Last known position in the Ukrainian airspace. Further details will follow."
Another source in the Ukrainian security service, was quoted by Interfax, said the aircraft disappeared from radar at an altitude of 10,000 feet and crashed near the town Shakhtyorsk.
In March, Malaysia Airlines MH370 aircraft, carrying 239 passengers, lost in go of Kuala Lumpur towards Beijing.

Biography

Rolihlahla Mandela was born into the Madiba clan in Mvezo, Transkei, on July 18, 1918, to Nonqaphi Nosekeni and Nkosi Mphakanyiswa Gadla Mandela, principal counsellor to the Acting King of the Thembu people, Jongintaba Dalindyebo.

His father died when he was 12 years old and the young Rolihlahla became a ward of Jongintaba at the Great Place in Mqhekezweni. Hearing the elder’s stories of his ancestor’s valour during the wars of resistance, he dreamed also of making his own contribution to the freedom struggle of his people.

He attended primary school in Qunu where his teacher Miss Mdingane gave him the name Nelson, in accordance with the custom to give all school children “Christian” names.

He completed his Junior Certificate at Clarkebury Boarding Institute and went on to Healdtown, a Wesleyan secondary school of some repute, where he matriculated.

Nelson Mandela began his studies for a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University College of Fort Hare but did not complete the degree there as he was expelled for joining in a student protest.

He completed his BA through the University of South Africa and went back to Fort Hare for his graduation in 1943.

On his return to the Great Place at Mqhekezweni the King was furious and said if he didn’t return to Fort Hare he would arrange wives for him and his cousin Justice. They ran away to Johannesburg instead, arriving there in 1941. There he worked as a mine security officer and after meeting Walter Sisulu, an estate agent, who introduced him to Lazar Sidelsky. He then did his articles through a firm of attorneys, Witkin Eidelman and Sidelsky.

Meanwhile he began studying for an LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand. By his own admission he was a poor student and left the university in 1952 without graduating. He only started studying again through the University of London after his imprisonment in 1962 but also did not complete that degree.

In 1989, while in the last months of his imprisonment, he obtained an LLB through the University of South Africa. He graduated in absentia at a ceremony in Cape Town.

Nelson Mandela, while increasingly politically involved from 1942, only joined the African National Congress in 1944 when he helped to form the ANC Youth League.

In 1944 he married Walter Sisulu’s cousin Evelyn Mase, a nurse. They had two sons, Madiba Thembekile ‘Thembi’ and Makgatho and two daughters both called Makaziwe, the first of whom died in infancy. They effectively separated in 1955 and divorced in 1958.

Nelson Mandela rose through the ranks of the ANCYL and through its work, in 1949 the ANC adopted a more radical mass-based policy, the Programme of Action.

In 1952 he was chosen at the National Volunteer-in-Chief of the Defiance Campaign with Maulvi Cachalia as his deputy. This campaign of civil disobedience against six unjust laws was a joint programme between the ANC and the South African Indian Congress. He and 19 others were charged under the Suppression of Communism Act for their part in the campaign and sentenced to nine months hard labour, suspended for two years.

A two-year diploma in law on top of his BA allowed Nelson Mandela to practice law, and in August 1952 he and Oliver Tambo established South Africa’s first black law firm, Mandela and Tambo.

At the end of 1952 he was banned for the first time. As a restricted person he was only permitted to watch in secret as the Freedom Charter was adopted in Kliptown on 26 June 1955.

Nelson Mandela was arrested in a countrywide police swoop on 5 December 1955, which led to the 1956 Treason Trial. Men and women of all races found themselves in the dock in the marathon trial that only ended when the last 28 accused, including Mr Mandela were acquitted on 29 March 1961.

On 21 March 1960 police killed 69 unarmed people in a protest against the pass laws held at Sharpeville. This led to the country’s first state of emergency and the banning of the ANC and the Pan Africanist Congress on 8 April. Nelson Mandela and his colleagues in the Treason Trial were among thousands detained during the state of emergency.

During the trial on 14 June 1958 Nelson Mandela married a social worker, Winnie Madikizela. They had two daughters, Zenani and Zindziswa. The couple divorced in 1996.

Days before the end of the Treason Trial Nelson Mandela travelled to Pietermaritzburg to speak at the All-in Africa Conference, which resolved that he should write to Prime Minister Verwoerd requesting a non-racial national convention, and to warn that should he not agree there would be a national strike against South Africa becoming a republic. As soon as he and his colleagues were acquitted in the Treason Trial Nelson Mandela went underground and began planning a national strike for 29, 30 and 31 March. In the face of massive mobilisation of state security the strike was called off early. In June 1961 he was asked to lead the armed struggle and helped to establish Umkhonto weSizwe (Spear of the Nation).

On 11 January 1962, using the adopted name David Motsamayi, Nelson Mandela secretly left South Africa. He travelled around Africa and visited England to gain support for the armed struggle. He received military training in Morocco and Ethiopia and returned to South Africa in July 1962. He was arrested in a police roadblock outside Howick on 5 August while returning from KwaZulu-Natal where he briefed ANC President Chief Albert Luthuli about his trip.

He was charged with leaving the country illegally and inciting workers to strike. He was convicted and sentenced to five years' imprisonment which he began serving in the Pretoria Local Prison. On 27 May 1963 he was transferred to Robben Island and returned to Pretoria on 12 June. Within a month police raided a secret hide-out in Rivonia used by ANC and Communist Party activists, and several of his comrades were arrested.

On 9 October 1963 Nelson Mandela joined ten others on trial for sabotage in what became known as the Rivonia Trial. While facing the death penalty his words to the court at the end of his famous ‘Speech from the Dock’ on 20 April 1964 became immortalised:

“I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”

On 11 June 1964 Nelson Mandela and seven other accused: Walter Sisulu, Ahmed Kathrada, Govan Mbeki, Raymond Mhlaba, Denis Goldberg, Elias Motsoaledi and Andrew Mlangeni were convicted and the next day were sentenced to life imprisonment. Denis Goldberg was sent to Pretoria Prison because he was white, while the others went to Robben Island.

Nelson Mandela’s mother died in 1968 and his eldest son Thembi in 1969. He was not allowed to attend their funerals.

On 31 March 1982 Nelson Mandela was transferred to Pollsmoor Prison in Cape Town with Sisulu, Mhlaba and Mlangeni. Kathrada joined them in October. When he returned to the prison in November 1985 after prostate surgery Nelson Mandela was held alone. Justice Minister Kobie Coetsee visited him in hospital. Later Nelson Mandela initiated talks about an ultimate meeting between the apartheid government and the ANC.

On 12 August 1988 he was taken to hospital where he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. After more than three months in two hospitals he was transferred on 7 December 1988 to a house at Victor Verster Prison near Paarl where he spent his last 14 months of imprisonment. He was released from its gates on Sunday 11 February 1990, nine days after the unbanning of the ANC and the PAC and nearly four months after the release of his remaining Rivonia comrades. Throughout his imprisonment he had rejected at least three conditional offers of release.

Nelson Mandela immersed himself in official talks to end white minority rule and in 1991 was elected ANC President to replace his ailing friend Oliver Tambo. In 1993 he and President FW de Klerk jointly won the Nobel Peace Prize and on 27 April 1994 he voted for the first time in his life.

On 10 May 1994 he was inaugurated South Africa’s first democratically elected President. On his 80th birthday in 1998 he married Graça Machel, his third wife.

True to his promise Nelson Mandela stepped down in 1999 after one term as President. He continued to work with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund he set up in 1995 and established the Nelson Mandela Foundation and The Mandela Rhodes Foundation.

In April 2007 his grandson Mandla Mandela became head of the Mvezo Traditional Council at a ceremony at the Mvezo Great Place.

Nelson Mandela never wavered in his devotion to democracy, equality and learning. Despite terrible provocation, he never answered racism with racism. His life has been an inspiration to all who are oppressed and deprived; to all who are opposed to oppression and deprivation.

He died at his home in Johannesburg on 5 December 2013.

Apple releases Mac OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks with Gmail and Safari fixes

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Apple released Mac OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks on Monday.

The update, which follows the release of Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks in October, is unlikely to get anyone very excited, as it mainly delivers bug fixes and minor tweaks.

However, the update is likely to be welcomed by Gmail users, as Apple said that the software bump will get rid of Mac OS X compatibility problems.

According to Apple, Mac OS X 10.9.1 delivers "improved support for Gmail in OS X Mail, and fixes for users with custom Gmail settings". It claimed that the update "improves the reliability of Smart Mailboxes and search in Mail"."

The Mavericks update also fixes an issue that "prevented content groups from working properly in Mail", and sorts out a problem that stopped Voiceover from reading out sentences that contained emoji. Other fixes include updates to the iLife and iWork apps so that they will update on non-English systems, and a remedy for an issue that prevents a Contact group name from populating the address field.

A Safari update is also included, bumping the browser to version 7.1. Chief among the tweaks to Safari is a fix for a bug that could cause Safari to become unresponsive when filling out forms on fedex.com, stubhub.com, and other websites.

There's also improved Credit Card Autofill compatibility, and Apple has tweaked the browser so that the Shared Links Sidebar will now "periodically" refresh when it's open rather than requiring a manual refresh by users.

Microsoft has announced that its Xbox One will go on sale on 22 November, a week ahead of the Sony PS4's release date.

Production Is Shut Down for ‘Fast & Furious 7’ After Star’s Death

LOS ANGELES — Universal Pictures is shutting down production on “Fast & Furious 7” for an indefinite period following the death of one of the film’s stars, Paul Walker, ensuring a delayed release date for the big-budget picture.

Universal said in a statement on Wednesday that it would halt filming “for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.” The studio added, “We are committed to keeping ‘Fast & Furious’ fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it.”

Simultaneously, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office released the results of an autopsy of Mr. Walker’s remains. Mr. Walker, 40, was the passenger in a Porsche that crashed into a light pole and tree on Saturday afternoon. He died of the combined effects of “traumatic and thermal” injuries, the coroner said. The driver of the car, Roger Rodas, died of “multiple traumatic injuries.”

The deaths were ruled accidental.

Mr. Walker died in suburban Los Angeles while on a Thanksgiving break from filming. “Fast & Furious 7,” which Universal had scheduled for release on July 11, is only about half-finished. “Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended ‘Fast & Furious’ family of cast, crew and filmmakers,” the studio's statement said.

As the holiday season approaches, you may be debating which next-gen gaming system to buy for yourself or your loved ones. With the release date of the PS4 on Friday, many consumers are exploring the benefits of buying the new console from Sony (NYSE:SNE). But before you run out and purchase a PS4, here are a few things you need to know.

5. You’ll probably want Playstation Plus.

Even though the Playstation network for the PS3 was free for users, Sony decided to take a cue from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and charge subscribers $50 per year. Playstation Plus allows players to interact online and play games with their friends. You will also need Playstation Plus to gain access to PS4’s ability to automatically download game updates when the system is suspended. However, you won’t need the added service to use video services like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu on your new PS4.

4. More indie games will be available for the PS4.

Sony has publicly been working closely with indie game developers for the past few years to build games for its next-gen PS4. At E3 in June, the company announced that more than a dozen indie titles would be coming to the PS4 after its November release date. Some of the tiles include Compulsion Games’ “Contrast,” HumanNature Studios’ “Doki-Doki Universe” and “Helldivers” from developer Arrowhead Game Studios.

3. When purchasing the PS4, you’ll get the necessities – plus a headset.

Much like the PS3, the Playstation 4 comes with the system itself, a power cable, an HDMI cable, a DualShock 4 controller and a USB cable. But unlike the PS3, the PS4 will be released with a mono headset for players to talk to one another.

Unfortunately, the HDMI is the only connection that works with the console. So, if you’re still playing your PS3 on an old 13-inch Panasonic television set, it’s time to hit Best Buy – or at least your parents’ living room.

The DualShock 4 controller also comes with a charging cable, but other PS4 controllers purchased elsewhere will not include this cable.

2. You can purchase the PS4 right now for $399.

Simple, right? The PS4 launched at midnight Friday and is currently available in 32 countries, including Canada and the U.S. The system will be released in Latin America, Australia and Europe on Nov. 29 and in Japan on Feb. 22. Meanwhile, Sony will face competition with next week's release date for Microsoft’s Xbox One console, which arrives next Friday.

The Playstation 4 is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One, coming in at $399. But despite the $50 that gamers can elect to pay for premium subscription service Playstation Plus, the smaller price tag may make the PS4 more appealing for buyers on a budget.

1. The console is not without its glitches.

Like any new system, there are reports of minor glitches with the PS4. This is to be expected, and Sony will probably remedy these bugs soon enough through a software update. Some users claimed that they had problems logging into the Playstation network due to the high volume of new users. Others reported that the console will freeze during gameplay and downloads. It's always ideal to be patient with your new console and network, since some kinks are not forseeable until high numbers of gamers are playing simultaneously.

Is an even bigger iPhone on the way?

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have been announced. So what does that mean for the iPhone 6?

Well, we'll tell you. Or, at least, we'll tell you what we can glean from rumor and speculation - some reliable, some not so much.

iOS 7: Apple's new look for iPhone and iPad

Given the iPhone's history - from the 3G onwards, there's always been a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone - so it was no surprise the 5S was first and so we're looking at 2014 for a new iPhone 6.

One thing is for sure, with potential refreshes of such super handsets as the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z andHTC One, the next iPhone will have to seriously up its game.

iPhone 6 release date

The iPhone 6 release date will be in 2014. It will follow the iPhone 5S which will be released at the end of this week..

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek says that there will be a June 2014 releasefor the iPhone 6. We reckon it will be later than that, around a year after the 5S. Citi's Glen Yeung also believes that we won't see an iPhone 6 until 2014, although that's no big leap.

Interestingly, in May 2013 Stuff reported it received a photo of the till system at a Vodafone UK store (which it has since removed along with the reference to Vodafone), with '4G iPhone 6' listed.

So could we see both an iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 in quick succession?Some reports suggest a new 5S in the late part of the year before a revamped iPhone 6 very early in 2014.

Apple may have a new roadmap, with new phones every spring and autumn

It's been suggested that there could even be three size variants of the new iPhone - check out these mocked up images by artist Peter Zigich. He calls the handsets iPhone 6 Mini, iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 XL (these look rather like the iPhone 5C variant though). However, as ZDNet rightly points out, different size variants aren't exactly easy to just magic out of thin air.

Pretty, yes, but also horrifically scratch-prone. Will your next iPhone have a plastic back?

The iPhone 6 will finally do NFC

About time too. Well, that's what iDownloadblog reckons, quoting Jefferies analyst Peter Misek. Many Android phones now boast NFC and Apple appears to have been happy to be left behind here.

With iOS 7 heading out of the traps now, who's betting against the next iPhone coming with iOS 8?

We'd expect a September or October release date for iOS 8 in line with previous releases.

We've already seen a 128GB iPad, so why not a 128GB iPhone 6? Yes, it'll cost a fortune, but high-spending early adopters love this stuff.

According to Business Insider, of the many iPhone 6 prototypes Apple has made, one has a giant Retina+ IGZO display and a "new form factor with no home button. Gesture control is also possibly included". It will surely include Apple's new Touch ID finger print tech though?

The Retina+ Sharp IGZO display, would have a 1080p Full HD resolution. It's also been widely reported that Apple could introduce two handset sizes as it seeks to compete with the plethora of Android devices now on the market.

Take this one with a pinch of salt, because China Times isn't always right: it reckons the codename iPhone Math, which may be a mistranslation of iPhone+, will have a 4.8-inch display. The same report suggests that Apple will release multiple handsets throughout the year over and above the iPhone 5S and 6, which seems a bit far-fetched to us.

Patents show that Apple has been thinking about magical morphing technology that can hide sensors and even cameras. Will it make it into the iPhone 6? Probably not.

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek also says he believes the new iPhone will have a bigger screen. Different sizes also seem rather likely to us - theword on the street after WWDC 2013 was that there would be 4.7 and 5.7-inch versions.

More rumors in September 2013 point to a six-inch display, but this seems a little large to us.

Not a huge surprise, this one: the next processor one will be a quad-core A8 or an evolved A7. The big sell here is more power with better efficiency, which should help battery life.

Anyone hoping for some juicy Samsung technology hidden under the iPhone 6 body will be disappointed though, as reports suggest Apple is looking to push its Korean rival further out of the iPhone picture with its eighth-gen handset.

Apple is apparently cutting the amount of A8 processors it is having made by Samsung, although it hasn't severed ties completely just yet.

Apple's bought camera sensors from Sony before, and this year we're going to see a new, 13-megapixel sensor that takes up less room without compromising image quality.

An Apple patent, uncovered by Apple Insider in May 2013, shows a system where an iPhone can remotely control other illuminating devices - extra flashes. It would work in a similar manner to that seen in professional photography studios. Interesting stuff.

iPhone 6 Sapphire crystals

GT Advanced Technologies provides crystal grow equipment and materials for consumer electronics, among other industries and has announced that it's signed a multi-year supply agreement with Apple to provide sapphire materials.

Sapphire has figured prominently in recent Apple products - the iPhone 5S' Touch ID fingerprint reader features a cut sapphire crystal cover and theiPhone 5 was the first to feature a sapphire crystal lens.So what will we see in the iPhone 6? Certainly the Touch ID fingerprint reader, but also other scratch-proof materials. GT says it will own and operate the machinery to produce this stuff at a new Apple plant in Arizona.

One thing seems certain - Apple can't ignore the massive movement towards eye-tracking tech from other vendors, especially Samsung. It seems a shoe-in that Apple will deliver some kind of motion tech within the next iPhone, probably from uMoove.

iPhone 6 wireless charging

Wireless charging still isn't mainstream. Could Apple help give it a push? CP Tech reports that Apple has filed a patent for efficient wireless charging, but then again Apple has filed patents for pretty much anything imaginable.

The tasty bit of this particular patent is that Apple's tech wouldn't just charge one device, but multiple ones. Here are more details on the iPhone 6 wireless charging patent.

Meanwhile, a further Apple patent seems to imply that future iPhones will be able to adjust volume as you move them away from your ear.

And could the iPhone 6 really have 3D? It's unlikely, but the rumours keep on coming.

Hey Everyone!
Sorry a few weeks have gone by since the campaign ended!!! We've been working hard with our Smosh team to fulfill all the perks you have so generously funded. Starting today, we'll be makingweekly developer diary updates (every Monday) so we can continue updating you guys on game progress and get more of your feedback. The game is planned to be released Summer 2014!
GAME UPDATES
Awesome Donut Minions Updates:
Bacon Maple Bat has a pair of bacon wings to swoop down from the sky! Hopefully someone’s thought to dry those wings or this could get greasy. Cinnamon Twist Snake looks super delicious, but don’t take a bite because he will bite back! Eclair Hound may look like a friendly puppy, but a simple “Sit! Stay!” is not gonna cut it.

Stevie Update:
We have a color update to Stevie's character with some new facial expressions...like happy, sad, shocked, and...I don’t even know what that last one is, but it looks like a face that Stevie would make!
Stevie will also be wearing his signature jorts so you can see him in all his jort-wearing glory in Food Battle: The Game. Let’s just hope the animators never decide to make him bend over!

DEVELOPER DIARY: AUGUST 12

Hey everyone! Thanks for all of your awesome feedback. With your help, we made some good revisions and decided on which donut boss to feature. Keep reading to learn more about Anthony's weapons and hear about the game story.
1) WEAPONS
The player's weapons will be crucial for defending the village against all of the evil donut minions! Check out this concept art for some of our weapons that are currently in development. 2) THE STORY
We've put a lot of effort into creating an epic story for Food Battle: THE GAME. It begins in a small village that once had a prosperous donut factory. The greedy baker tried splicing donut and human DNA to replace his workers with donut minions and it went HORRIBLY WRONG! The aggressive donut minions preferred fighting to working and the baker lost control. It was up to the villagers to destroy them while the baker shut down the factory and went into hiding. Everything was peaceful until donut minions suddenly appeared and started attacking! Help us fight them and defend the village!

Hey everyone! We’re excited to show you concept art today! This is the first installment of our Developer Diary series that will give you guys a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Food Battle: THE GAME!

1) CONCEPT ART PROCESS

We are collaborating with talented concept artists from Liquid Development, a studio that has worked on games such as Halo 4, Borderlands, Mass Effect 2 and Fable 2! Pretty awesome, right? CLICK HERE to see what other titles they have worked on...we’re sure you have played a few of them! The concept art process helps us nail down the spirit and art direction we want for the characters and environments. These sketches are not literal, in-game art yet so we’ll keep you posted when we get to that part of the game creation process!

We wanted to show you work-in-progress (not finished) concepts so we can get your feedback while we are still making creative decisions!

2) CHARACTER CONCEPTS
THE BOSS: Ian's Pink Frosted Sprinkled Donut Monster
Tell us which version of the Donut Monster you like BEST in the COMMENTS tab! Tag your feedback with the hashtag #LikeThisDonutBoss.
Version 1: His mouth and teeth are made from the frosting dripping from the donut hole. His donut shape is smoother and rounder than Version 2. His hands and legs are more dough-y and he has frosting on his fingers and arms.

Version 2: He has actual teeth and his eyes are more squinty. His arms and legs are more human.

Sketch #1: The monster has a whip in this sketch. We're not sure we like the whip but we thought we could give him a different weapon to hold. What weapon do you think he should have?

Sketch #2: He looks like he’s ripped off a part of his donut-self to throw dough at the player.

Sketch 3: The donut monster is shooting something like donut jelly made of acid...or fire...or lasers! You can also see someone hiding. We’re not gonna tell you who it is...but you can probably guess.

THE DONUT MINIONS: These little evil guys will be a common enemy you see in the game so we want to make sure we get them exactly right. Our favorite ones are A and D.

3) ENVIRONMENT CONCEPT
We’ve easily clocked in thousands of hours playing The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Our concept artist knows it is one of our all-time favorite games and painted this level (below) which we are calling The Grasslands. We want it to be a big, brightly-colored, open environment that a player could imagine themselves exploring.

We’ve seen all your comments and we hear you! We’re excited to announce we will be offering Food Battle: THE GAME on the Android platform as part of this campaign. How will this work?
You guys determine how much each organization receives from this charity pool based on the number of votes received. We want everyone to have a say in how much each charity gets so you don't need to participate in the campaign in order to vote. (Each charity will receive a percentage of the pool corresponding to the percentage of total votes received from our Smosh fans: for example, if Do Something receives 50% of the votes, Do Something will receive 50% of the pool, if Child's Play receives 30% of the votes, Child's Play will receive 30% of the pool, and if FEED USA receives 20% of the vote, FEED USA will receive 20% of the pool.) Will this be a free game?
Yes! We have been so pleased with the outpouring of support that we have decided to make the game free across all platforms. Since this is a game funded by you guys, it is super important to us that our entire Smosh community has the chance to play the finished product for FREE.
If I am an international funder, are there additional shipping costs?
Yes. If you are an international funder, you will find your additional shipping costs included at the bottom of each perk. When you check out, be sure to manually add in this amount (Indiegogo does not do this for you!)
If I am a campaign funder, when will I receive my perks?
All campaign perks will be mailed out on or before December 1, 2013. We'll announce more information about our donut party, but expect that to happen sometime winter/spring 2014.

What are in-app upgrades?

Don't worry! We are constantly taking down and replacing perks as they sell out. If you no longer see your perk, YOU WILL STILL RECEIVE IT. It just means we wanted to make room for even more awesome reward tiers!
