The proposed Rs 70,000-crore capital infusion into public sector banks (PSBs) will provide a timely booster to these lenders, S&P Global Ratings has said.

The move, announced in the Budget, is likely to be credit positive for the banking sector and the economy, S&P said in a note titled 'India's Budget attempts to address the trust deficit in the financial sector.

Global brokerage house Credit Suisse has an overweight call on IndusInd Bank with a target price at Rs 1,800.PSU banking major Punjab National Bank fell over 9 percent intraday after it detected a fraud of more than Rs 3,800 crore by Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd (BPSL) and has reported it to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Ingrid has completed the acquisition of two power transmissions assets from Sterlite Power for an enterprise value of Rs 5,025 crore, the company said in a release. Asset acquisition will boost IndiGrid’s AUM to about Rs 10,660 crore.

घरेलू शेयर बाजार की नजर इस सप्ताह जारी होने वाले प्रमुख आर्थिक आंकड़ों और देश की कुछ बड़ी कंपनियों की ओर से जारी किए जाने वाले पहली तिमाही के नतीजों पर होगी। साथ ही, विदेशी बाजार से मिलने वाले संकेतों, अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में तेल के भाव और डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपए की चाल से बाजार को दिशा मिलेगी। वहीं, विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशकों और घरेलू संस्थागत निवेशकों के निवेश रुझानों से भी बाजार की चाल तय होगी।

वित्त मंत्री की ओर से पेश किए गए आर्थिक सर्वे का शेयर बाजार का मिला-जुला रुख दिखा। बंबई स्टॉक एक्सचेंज का 30 शेयरों का संवेदी सूचकांक सेंसेक्स 68.81 अंकों की तेजी के साथ 39,908 अंकों पर जाकर बंद हुआ। वहीं नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज का निफ्टी 30 अंकों की तेजी के साथ 11,946 अंकों पर जाकर बंद हुआ।

गुरुवार को सेंसेक्स में मामूली तेजी देखी गई। सेंसेक्स में बैंकिंग, ऑटो, फाइनेंस, टेलीकॉम, पीएसयू, आईटी, टेक जैसे प्रमुख शेयर बढ़त के साथ हरे निशान में बंद हुए जबकि मेटल, कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल, हेल्थकेयर जैसे सेक्टर के शेयर गिरावट के साथ लाल निशान में बंद हुए। निफ्टी में भी सेंसेक्स जैसा हाल रहा और बैंक, ऑटो, फाइनेंस सर्विसेज, एफएमसीजी, आईटी, पीएसयू बैंक, प्राइवेट बैंक, रियल्टी सेक्टर के शेयर हरे निशान में बंद हुए। निफ्टी में मीडिया, मेटल और फार्मा सेक्टर के शेयर लाल निशान में बंद हुए।

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 के लिए पूर्ण बजट पेश कर दिया है। इस बजट में आम आदमी के लिए बड़ी घोषणाएं नहीं की गई हैं। इस पूर्ण बजट में इनकम टैक्स को लेकर कोई बड़ा बदलाव नहीं किया गया है और अंतरिम बजट में किए गए प्रावधानों को ही मंजूरी दी गई है। बजट के नए प्रावधानों के बाद अब आपकी 7 लाख रुपए तक की आय पर किसी भी प्रकार को कोई टैक्स नहीं लगेगा। मनी भास्कर आपको बता रहा है कि कैसे आप 7 लाख रुपए तक की इनकम को टैक्स फ्री बना सकते हैं।

5 लाख रुपए तक कोई टैक्स नहीं

अंतरिम बजट में पांच लाख रुपए तक की आय को टैक्स फ्री किया गया था। सीए मनीष कुमार जैन के अनुसार, ढाई से पांच लाख रुपए तक की आय पर 5 फीसदी की दर से टैक्स लगता है। यह अधिकतम 12,500 रुपए होता है। अंतरिम बजट में इसको पूरी तरह से माफ कर दिया गया है। यानी अब आपको पांच लाख रुपए तक की आय पर कोई भी टैक्स नहीं देना होगा। जैन के अनुसार, सरकार ने केवल टैक्स में छूट दी है, स्लैब में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है।

50 हजार रुपए का स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन

इसी साल फरवरी में पेश किए गए अंतरिम बजट में स्टैंडर्ड की सीमा को 40 हजार रुपए से बढ़ाकर 50 हजार रुपए किया गया था। यानी आपकी आय सात लाख रुपए है तो इसमें से 50 हजार रुपए स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन के रूप में घटाने के बाद 6.50 लाख रुपए पर टैक्स की गणना होगी।

Axis Bank shares gained nearly a percent intraday after global brokerage firm maintained buy call on the stock as profit is expected to turn around in FY20.

The research house raised price target to Rs 1,000 from Rs 890 earlier, implying 24 percent potential upside and it sees an earnings recovery in FY20 as credit costs normalize. Indian indices are trading higher after a flat start in the morning trade with Nifty around 11,950.

The Sensex is up 114.10 points or 0.29% at 39953.35, and the Nifty up 37.60 points or 0.32% at 11954.40. About 1003 shares have advanced, 559 shares declined, and 79 shares are unchanged. Shares of Titan Company declined 1 percent in the early trade on July 4 after foreign brokerage house Morgan Stanley downgraded the stock to the equal-weight from overweight. It is a flat start for the Indian indices on July 4 ahead of Union Budget scheduled on July 5.

At 09:17 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 66.64 points at 39905.89, while Nifty is up 22.50 points at 11939.30. About 440 shares have advanced, 245 shares declined, and 29 shares are unchanged.

Gold prices climbed over 1% to hit a one-week high on Wednesday, helped by a subdued dollar as renewed concerns over global trade encouraged safe-haven demand and drove down U.S. yields.

Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission added 3.7 percent on July 3 after the company entered into binding agreements with CLP India to sell its stake in 3 power transmission assets namely, Kalpataru Satpura Transco, Alipurduar Transmission and Kohima Mariani Transmission, for an estimated enterprise value of Rs 3,275 crore.

Oil prices edged higher on Wednesday, steadying after a more than 4% fall in the previous session, as extended output cuts by OPEC and its allies helped underpin prices despite growing concerns about weak demand.

Benchmark indices opened lower on July 2 with Nifty below 11,900 level.

At 09:16 hrs IST, the Sensex is down 47.44 points or 0.12% at 39769.04, and the Nifty down 10.40 points or 0.09% at 11899.90. About 331 shares have advanced, 218 shares declined, and 35 shares are unchanged.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals shares rallied nearly 6 percent intraday as the US health regulator approved Febuxostat tablets that lower uric acid levels.

Febuxostat tablets are xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitor indicated for the chronic management of hyperuricemia in adult patients with gout who have an inadequate response to a maximally titrated dose of allopurinol, who are intolerant to allopurinol, or for whom treatment with allopurinol is not advisable. Benchmark indices traded marginally lower amid volatility as traders turned cautious ahead of Union Budget later this week.

The BSE Sensex fell 44.24 points to 39,642.26 and the Nifty50 slipped 13.90 points to 11,851.70.

It is a flat start for the Indian indices on July 2 with Nifty above 11,850.

At 09:16 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 3.70 points or 0.01% at 39690.20, and the Nifty up 1.90 points or 0.02% at 11867.50. About 352 shares have advanced, 220 shares declined, and 34 shares are unchanged.

HPCL, BPCL, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, Infosys, Britannia, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, and Asian Paints are among the major gainers on the indices, while losers are Yes Bank, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Cox & Kings, and Dr. Reddy's Lab.

Among sectors, buying seen in the energy, FMCG space, while auto, IT, metal and pharma are under pressure.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में सोना हाजिर 0.32 प्रतिशत चढ़कर 1413.78 डॉलर प्रति औंस पर रहा। इसी तरह से अगस्त का अमेरिकी सोना वायदा भी 0.33 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 1413.10 डॉलर प्रति औंस पर बोला गया। अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच जारी तनाव में कुछ नरमी आने तथा डॉलर में सुधार के कारण कीमती धातुओं में उतार-चढ़ाव का रुख देखा जा रहा है। इस दौरान चांदी 0.14 प्रतिशत उतरकर 15.23 डॉलर प्रति औंस बोला गया।

स्थानीय बाजार में सोना स्टैंडर्ड 65 रुपए टूटकर 34,285 रुपए प्रति दस ग्राम पर रहा। सोना बिटुर भी इतनी ही बढ़कर 34,115 रुपए प्रति दस ग्राम पर रहा। आठ ग्राम वाली गिन्नी 26,800 रुपए पर स्थिर रही। सोने में गिरारवट का असर चांदी पर भी दिखा।

Nifty records worst fall since October 2018; over 22 stocks fall 20-50% in June

The Nifty50, which had hit a record high of 12,103 on June 3, failed to keep the momentum going and closed with losses of 1.12 percent in June. The index recorded its worst fall since October 2018 when it fell by nearly 5 percent. The index moved in a range and retested its crucial 50-days exponential moving average (EMA) for seven consecutive days in a row before bouncing back towards 11,900 levels. However, selling pressure at higher levels pushed the index below 11,800.

The index finally closed 52.70 points lower at 11,788. The index closed below its 5-day EMA, 20-EMA, as well as 13-EMA which does not augur well for the bulls.

More than 70 percent of the stocks or 356 in the S&P BSE 500 index gave negative returns in the same period. As many as 21 stocks in the 356 stocks fell 20-50 percent which include names like Jet Airways, Jain Irrigations, Reliance Infra, Reliance Capital, PC Jeweller, Reliance Power, and Reliance Communications, etc. among others.

At 10:51 hrs IST, the Sensex is down 76.80 points at 39509.61, while Nifty is down 22.50 points at 11819. About 946 shares have advanced, 907 shares declined, and 94 shares are unchanged.

Shares of real estate major DLF gained as much as 2 percent on June 28 after its promoters infused Rs 2,250 crore in the company against the issuance of new equity shares. Indian indices are trading higher in the pre-opening session.

At 09:01 hrs IST, the Sensex is up 105.38 points or 0.27% at 39691.79, and the Nifty up 25.50 points or 0.22% at 11867. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closed higher in a broad-based rally on Thursday as investors looked to the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan this weekend for progress in the long-running US-China trade dispute, which has whipsawed markets for months.

Financial Services shares gained more than a percent intraday on June

Edelweiss Financial Services shares gained more than a percent intraday after ICRA reaffirmed its credit rating for the company's commercial paper and non-convertible debentures.

The financial services provider informed exchanges that ICRA re-affirmed its credit rating of A1+ assigned to the commercial paper program of Rs 6,350 crore and short-term non-convertible debenture program of Rs 100 crore of the company.

The rating of A1+ indicates a very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations

Benchmark indices recovered from the morning lows with Nifty trading above 11,800 marks.
