FAREWELL & WELCOME TO A NEW BBTB SITE

Hello everyone.....and HAPPY NEW YEAR'S to you all....
As you read from the title of this post, I have a bit of sad news...effective today, I will no longer be running the BBTB Cricut Challenge site...GOODNESS, that was very HARD to type...I believe the BBTB was the very first Cricut challenge site to start up..gosh I remember when I use to participate over on the Cricut Message board 24/7..couldn't get enough of that site and then I announced that I wanted to start a challenge site strictly for those that loved using their little BUGS....and the rest is history.....The BBTB first started back in June of 2007 and it has been the most rewarding, amazing and funniest thing that I can ever remember starting up...I have met so many wonderful people, that to this day we have become a little family and I love them all so much.. many of them have been with the BBTB since it first started....talk about building relationships, it doesn't get any better then that and since we have become a little family, of course family sticks together through the good and bad..(smile)...but as with all things, even fun adventures in our lives must come to an end....

As many of you know, I am the Owner of The Cutting Cafe, and have decided to dedicate most of my time to the online store plus maybe take on a few card challenges here and there online...So I am not totally disappearing..you all know where to find me..(smile)

I had first thought that I was going to totally end the BBTB and then I started thinking about how all of our FABULOUS readers look forward to the weekly Cricut challenges for inspiration and thought...hum, maybe I can get one of the talented BBTB designers to take it over...So I was totally excited to have Heather Binnie take on the challenge...and she came up with the new title:
BBTB2
Wow, how excited I was that she thought of that...it really really made me feel awesome inside to know the BBTB with continue on with the new site being called BBTB2..I even started daydreaming that this could literally go on forever...BBTB3, BBTB4...etc...(smile)
Anyways, I would like to thank Heather for taking on this new adventure and for all of the wonderful designers who fully support her..without them, there just wouldn't be a team at all, BUT most of all, I would like to thank each and every one of our amazing readers, you all are FABULOUS and we thank you for all of your support...

Hello all of our wonderful BBTB readers....I hope everyone is all ready for Christmas...only 12 days left........we have a fun challenge for you all this week...The ladies were asked to use the BRANCH cut from the WINTER WOODLAND cartridge....this cartridge has so many amazing cuts on it...It is a must have for winter projects....

BUT..before I show you the teams stunning projects, I wanted to let everyone know that this will be the last challenge of the year....The team is taken a little holiday vacation until next year....We will resume on the 3rd of January..There will also be a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT that day...so stay tune for that...

Hi everyone, it's Enfys here this week, flying the flag for the UK - we are a cosmopolitan bunch here on the design team, Europe, Canada, and from sea to shining sea in the USA, all bound together with our common love of crafting and our Cricuts.

Thanks to everyone who joined in with the From My Kitchen challenge last week, I think we all enjoyed using that fabulous phone cut.

This week it was my turn to set the challenge, I chose the ribbon frame from the Joys of the Season cartridge, page 67, and as usual the team have come up with a fabulous variety of ways to use the cuts. Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! It's Donna here, your host for this week's Bitten By the Bug challenge. Hello Bitten By The Bug Fans!

DeeDee here this week to offer up a brand new challenge for you Cricut lovers! This week the design team was surprised with some yummy new dingbats and a font from Scrapnfonts.com. WOW! There are lots of fun little images in this set called DB Mulberry Lane and the font is one of the cutest I've seen in a very long while, it's called LD Outline Curl.

Good Morning and happy Monday to all. My name is Carole and I am just so very excited to be the host of this week's Bitten By The Bug challenge. Last week that wonderfully talented Carla started us on the new hosting program and I am thankful I had her lead to follow. I asked the designers to use the Storybook Cartridge, and to design something using the pretty bird. ....for the last few weeks I have been mentioning to all of our wonderful BBTB readers that the BBTB was going to be starting something a bit different starting with our November 1st challenge.

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK ALOT LIKE CHRISTMAS.......well not exactly, but the design team did use the CHRISTMAS NOEL for this weeks challenge....Have you ever noticed the awesome sign on this cartridge....it is super FANTASTIC and can be used for just about ANY project....which is what the team did this week....they were asked to use the sign cut.......BUT they had to use it in a HALLOWEEN or FALL type project....and of course they did an amazing job...these ladies are just so FABULOUS........

CAMP OUT......DRAGONFLY CHALLENGE....

I know summer is just about done and most people at least with children are done with camping for the year.......but I had to give out a challenge using the CAMP OUT cartridge anyways...THE DRAGONFLY.....I bet alot of you didn't even notice this cute little cut...A dragonfly is one of those insect just like the butterfly that you can make it all pretty and use it on just ANY project....the designers this week were asked to use the DRAGONFLY from the CAMP OUT cartridge, BUT the wings on the dragonfly had to be in polk a dots................so if you are up for the challenge, please do play along...add your project to the McKlinky below.

LOCKER TALKER.....DESK CHALLENGE

Hello everyone..........this week I decided to issue a challenge that had to do with SCHOOL...pretty much everyone is back in school by now....so what is the one thing that you will find in just about EVERY CLASSROOM.....a DESK...Provo Craft is so amazing, you can find just about any cut you need in one of their many many many cartridges......have ya seen some of the new ones...Wowzer....okay let me get back on track here....the designers this week were asked to use the DESK from the Locker talker cartridge.....cute cute cute cute cute....I am always so amazed to see how different everyone uses the assigned cuts.....

POOH AND FRIENDS...PRESENT CHALLENGE....

Got a birthday coming up that you need to do a card for....or maybe someone you know is having a birthday close to HALLOWEEN....whatever the case may be, this week you will surely leave with some YUMMY ideas.....This week the designers were asked to use the PRESENT from the POOH AND FRIENDS cartridge....As I am sure you know most of the Cricut Cartridges have many different cuts on them that may or may not have anything to do with the title of the cartridge...The POOH AND FRIENDS cartridge has many fun extras on it....This cute little cut is PERFECT for Christmas cards as well...we have a design that covers that as well.....
