The Federal Government has threatened to use Tecno as a scapegoat to send a strong message of intolerance to 'nonsense and immorality'.

Recall that Tekno suffered a backlash after being spotted in a viral video shared on social media dancing in a transparent moving van on Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos, with four naked women.

Reacting to the release of the music video, Director General of the National Council for Arts and culture (NCAC) a pastoral of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Segun Runsewe said they were queried by Nigerians at home and in diaspora after a clip of the naked women went viral. He warned against shameful conducts which is not part of 'our' culture.

"We commend the police for arresting Tekno for the shameful misconduct. The same person who was granted bail on health grounds has gone ahead to release the controversial video. We are now warning him to desist from this shameful conduct, which is not part of our culture.

"No single person is bigger than Nigeria; whether he likes it or not we are going to use him as a scapegoat to send strong signals that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle.

"Since the offensive Tekno scam video came to limelight, I have received hundreds of telephone calls from Nigerians at home and others in the United States, Canada and other parts of the world querying where such anomalies would be tolerated in Nigeria.

"Now that he has released the shameful video when investigation is still going on, we are going to inform security agencies to place him in their watch list, because his action is a threat to National security and bad influence on Nigerian youths.

"We are committed to exposing proponents of this kind of offensive sights and videos. We warn that nudity is not part of our culture and should not be tolerated. The Federal Government will henceforth fish out clubs for nude dancers across the country for their promoters to face prosecution"

Earlier on Friday, August 9, 2019 news had filtered on social media about River State Governor Nyeson Wike, declaring a notorious criminal known as Bobrisky wanted.
Wike had also placed a N30 million bounty on his head. He urged anyone who has information about the man that could lead to his arrest to come forward with such information.

A lot of people went into panic mode because they thought it was the controversial social media barbie, Bobrsky, he was referring to but alas, it is not.

The news eventually made rounds to the internet sensation who was quiet surprised at the information.

Governor Okezie Ikeazu of Abia on the 8 of August being Thursday said that the armed security personnel who allegedly shot and killed a commercial motorcyclist in a community near Aba has been arrested.
The deceased Chimaobi Uzouka was reportedly killed for refusing to part with N100 bribe at Ohanze military checkpoint, NAN reports.

The suspects was said to have immediately fled the area after the horrible act.

According to a release issued by Onyebuchi Emeemanka, the governor chief press secretary, Ikpeazu announced the arrest of the suspect when he paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family at umuokereke Ngwa community in Obingwa LGA of the state.

The governor has swore to exhaust all avenues possible to ensure that the deceased who left behind a pregnant wife, two sons and an aged mother gets justice.

Sowore has demands for the release of Nigerians arrested by the authorities while protesting on Monday.

Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate has demanded from the security agents who arrested the RevolutionNow protesters during demonstrations on Monday, August 5 2019 to be released.

Sowore was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) on Saturday, August 3 for calling for nationwide protests against the President Muhammad Buhari - led government

The Sahara Reporters founder accused the current government of badly managing the affairs of the country and called on Nigerians to reject the wickedness of the establishment.

On Saturday, after DSS picked him and was accused him of threatening the harmony of the nation by plotting to overthrow a democratically-elected government.

Despite the warnings f the security agencies against the protest, many staged demonstrations in many state in the country on Monday, leading total crackdown that involved many arrests in Lagos, Osun, Ogun and Cross River.

When he was given an opportunity to meet with the members of the Take It Back Movement late on Monday, a defiant Sowore called for the release of those arrested according to a report by Sahara Reporters.

"I joined others in demanding for the immediate and unconditional release of all those arrested by the police on Monday," he said

Sowore said he was bothered by the crackdown on Nigerians who merely expressing their civil rights through peaceful protests.

Even though he noted that he was being treated well in detention, he has refused to eat meals given to him by DSS.

Many Nigerians have condemned his arrest and called for his release from detention.
They include Professor Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana and former presidential candidate, Dr Oby Ezekwesili and Atiku Abubakar.

Apparently, he died two weeks ago but resurrected on their way to his burial.

According to the eye witness @Yanbaba "I have never witnessed this one before...

"I have been seeing it in the movies but today t happened before my eyes.. We were going to Ukpom in Ikono LGA in Akwaibom state to bury my neighbor that died last two weeks .... He had an accident.

"He was supposed to be buried today but the mortuary asked the family to come and pick up the corpse that the boy is disturbing.... The family had to quickly fix the burial today..

"We picked up the corpse in Uyo... The first ambulance developed a problem.. The second ambulance the same thing... They recommended a particular driver to us, they told us that the driver knows what to do if the ambulance break down again....

"We moved for a while the ambulance broke down at plaza in Uyo before uniuyo first gate.. The driver and has second came down brought down the casket and the corpse rose up..., nwanne i take off..

"I don't know what the driver did, laid the corpse back, went and start the ambulance... The car started... That was how we were able to bury this guy amidst all the family wahala and troubles from village youths.

"My guy things dey happen for this life "
