Quick post this morning before work. It has been a tough last couple of weeks due to my job place situation, and having to do a 380 personality wise, or get fired or leave. I'm not getting in to what I actually feel, because I will save that for the councillor that I am now seeing or my fiancee. I learned a "valuable" lesson due to this. One actually that I kind of already knew, but just didn't want to stare it in the face. I am however now separating work from home as it should be. I discontinued my "work facebook", and just have a personal one now that has none of that lot on it, and won't. I have to define "who deserves what" according to their treatment of me both now and the past. On a good note all of this has forced me to change my behavior to being "sunny" all the time, and thus I have to admit my stress leave has taken a nose dive. However this situation was handled very very heavy handedly.

On another note, Valentines Day we celebrated on the Saturday and Sunday before. Roses, chocolate, sushi, and we went to see the movie Woman in Black, which was actually quite good.

Have a lot to do this coming weekend. Sorting for the coming move in late March. I need to get that painting done before then. That canvas his huge and is waiting for me to work on it.

Still playing WoW. Awaiting Diablo 3, and playing a bit of Diablo 2 again.

Discontinued formally using my photographer's site for advertising myself to a degree. I don't know if am going to have time to do photography until I get situated anyway, and then there is space to be considered. I didn't delete the site just changed it so it would be less content. I will have to see where all this goes later on.

Well that is all for now. Have to go to work. Thankfully I will be off later this afternoon.

Wonder Woman 2011 Unaired Show

I finally got to see the rough for the Wonder Woman show that was supposed to debut in 2011, but was not picked up. To be honest I hear a lot of criticism about it, but as far as effects are concerned eh you do realize that the show that you got to see if you did was not the final cut it was before a lot of the wire work was removed by effect teams, and all the rough was completely worked out. So if anything that was my only issue was they should have spit and polished it before releasing it to be viewed by whoever makes decisions about making or breaking it. Personally, I kind of liked it. It was very different than the 1970s-80s series with Linda Carter. Wonder Woman is portrayed as in the comic book "now" so she is vengeful, violent, and feminist. What is interesting though is that in away they allude that her behavior is "fascist", and above the law. Revenge usually is. Though the ends does seem to justify the means. Past the fact you can still see the wire work I think it is a good portrayal of her. On the flip side the story was somewhat weak, but then again most pilot have underdeveloped character issues. I like that she goes between her old costume and new on. Overall a pretty decent rendition of a old character.

Remember although I am not a fan of either party at this point I have a far heaver dislike for the Republican Party. The sheer fact that they set upon themselves like vultures kind of shores that up for me. The absurdity factor of the GOP's candidates alone should be enough to put Obama back in office.

I just realized that I hadn't posted that I had won the company's Biggest Loser Contest. What an irony that I would win a contest with such a name. lol! My weight to start was 240.6 lbs and 3 months later it was 204.2 lbs.. I beat my opponent by a fraction.

POLITICAL BLACKOUT ON FACEBOOK

I am headed towards week 2 of my Facebook "political blackout". Meaning? I am not posting anything to do with politics or religion in an attempt to break myself of the bad habit of "preaching to the choir" and on the flip side "trying to convert lead to gold" so to speak. So, I'm going to try to keep it art, funny, sexy, and tech for the most part.
Now does this change my politics? No. I'm still socially liberal, and economically moderate. I think that the future will always be made by progress based on "history" not on trying to stop it. History shows that fact. Liberal, conservative, neutral, whatever ... like it or not progress happens, and if it doesn't were all in trouble. It is the forward march that makes us not the stumbling backward to yesteryear though at the same time there is nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia, but attempting to force our nation back to the methods 1950s again just isn't healthy.

Biggest Loser Finally Six Days

Well this Biggest Loser Contest is about over. Six more days, and it is really close. I am behind slightly. I want to say I will be very glad when it is over. I have been practically insane during the course of this event. Not having access to "comfort food" that helped me deal with mental bads day to day was much rougher than I would have imagined, and I acted at times like a total psycho. Win or lose however I will be going to a diet that is more reasonable, but upon the end of this will be having what I think is called a pasta party. Yes you heard it. I am also sure my coworkers and fiancee will be glad will be slightly less the nut ball. I say slighly less.

Lets pretend I am not "any politics" at all. Right or left. Even center. I find myself perplexed at anyone stupid enough not to understand that talk radio is the epitome of "propaganda". The true essence of it. Every now and then though I run into someone that is of that vein of thinking, but is into many of the "things" I am that unfortunately put you into the criteria of "liberal" thinking like it or no. I don't get it. It is completely illogical. No, it's more than that ... it's plain bat shit crazy. These people worship the hide of totalitarianism, but want their ... eh heb, freedoms too. Propaganda is someone basically telling you something you want to hear that isn't necessarily the truth, but is typically an inflamatory reactionist reasoning that is meant to play your emotions to the benefit of a specific person, group, politic, and or movement. A tool and a fool as I like to call them. Worse, these people you venerate on talk radio or left or right wing news profit in the millions of dollars on your reactionaryism. You become a means for money and power, and you are a dupe. Nothing more. Personally, I want to be my own person with my own mind. Fuck philosophers, pundits, and their like. As I have said before just because you like what you are hearing doesn't mean it is the truth.

Doomsday on Politics

So much passion lost only to be regained in the form of cynicism. In the coming year I am working towards staying a bit further away from political opinion, because well politicians make me sick no matter who they are. Disappointment abounds. I mean I still hold that people are being idiots to fall for this phony "libertarian" sentiment that is being pushed by the corporate fascist giants of this nation and the world via their bought media (Foxnews, CNN, ect). I am not against being ones own person or small businesses, but what these so called Tea Partyers are going for is none of that it is pure totalitarianism wrapped in a bow of "capitalist free enterprize banter" that is complete bullshit. So I stand for the working class man and woman, I stand for small business, and I still stand for civil and human rights. I do believe however in fiscal responsibility, and to be honest always have. Currently I have no plans to vote in the 2012 election unless either Obama does something about influence pendling of the 1% on our political system or someone else runs that will. Right now ... no.

MMORPG Guide (Pre-Star Wars Old Republic)

At this point I can say I have played a little more than half a dozen MMORPGs out there. World of Warcraft is still the king, and now up until level 20 it is free to play. About five hours of entertainment. Lol! Otherwise it is the traditional $14.95 a month. Ok here is my run down of MMORPGs.

Star Trek Online: Was the dud that I expected it to be. If you are a hardcore Treky then maybe it will be fun for awhile until your blu-ray of season 5 of Deep Space 9 Arrives. (2 out of 5)

Warhammer Online I consider another dud. I just can’t stand against the power of WoW sorry. (2 out of 5)

EVE Online … I get lost in space far too much. Not meant for everyone. It is a space faring MMORPG. (can’t rate this one)

Champions Online: An excellent free to play/ pay for perks MMORPG that is a change from the hum drum of fantasy rpgs. You’re a super hero in the city! Customizing characters is excellent. You have to pay for some classes though. (5 out of 5)

Lord of The Rings Online: Also an excellent free to play/ pay for perks MMORPG stands well against WoW, but just not enough. Fun though especially if you like that universe. (4 .5 out of 5)

Everquest II : I just started playing this one. It has a difficult learning curve, and seems you have to “buy” everything for it being a free to play/ pay for perks … the crafting system in this game is like running a slot machine at a casino so its nuts. It is kind of fun though. (3.5 out of 5)

DC Universe Online: Free to play pay for perks game feels kind of arcadish in the way it plays, which isn’t a bad thing because it makes it different enough to be valid. The character customization is ok, but it could be better. Especially the color options. It’s kind of fun, but not exactly Champions Online. I give it a (3.5 out of 5)

Rift Online another Pay to Play It is fun for a while, but once the thrill of constant small and large raids wear off then … well there you are. It has a lot of what other fantasy MMORPGs have, but so what. (3.5 out of 5)

Runes of Magic: Free to play pay for perks … I kind of like this one. It was one of my first experiences outside of WoW playing a really good Fantasy MMORPG. It isn’t WoW by any means, but it has enough originality to be a nice one.

Wizards 101: I didn’t get it. Perhaps the Pokémon crowd gets it. It was a bunch of repetitive fiddle faddle meant obviously for little kids. I had hoped I could get past that fact. Nope. I won’t rate this one to be fair.

Fiesta Online: Another Anime kind of free to play pay for perks game that is full of cutesy characters, but is at least interesting, and different. It’s no WoW, but if you’re an Anime fan it’s worth a look. I won’t rate this one either.

So that is it for now. Well, I think Star Wars Old Republic came out yesterday ... beware WoW ... beware.

Haven't been on here in a while. My diet and Biggest Loser contest has taken a pretty good chip out of me over the last couple of months. Including thankfully almost 20 pounds, which puts me a little more than 10 pounds to lose in the remaining month + 9 days.
So what has been going on? Had another photo shoot with Laura since my last one in September. Wasn't as productive because I was really stressed out over something at work that was all in my head. Not the first time really. I also had a recent doctor visit that ended up being not so bad. More of the same, but at least I am doing what needs to be done abet slowly.
Stretched that huge canvas, but haven't painted yet. I will blame my diet. It is the product of may of my issues at the moment it dulls much of me.
Me and my fiancee still plan to get married in April of 2012. No date yet. By the first of the year we need to have a date, I need to start storing stuff at her place, I need to start eliminating, and we need to shore up honeymoon plans. Hopefully by then I will also have lost another at least 20 pounds of weight. My end goal is to weigh about 170 down from 240. I am about 221 now.

Is Ayn Rand an economist, a psychologist, a historian? The answer is no.Same with Karl Marx, and a variety of other popular philosophers. Who the hell are these people? Dreamers? Wishful thinkers? Fathers and fools? If I can say anything I can say that these "philosophers" are selling poison goods at the most. Why? Because they sell a product of "purity". Humans aren't pure. So you end in two ways following such beliefs under the "banner" of "sameness", or dead, product of the us verses them mentality that such pure systems tend to breed. We see what happened to Communism, and what kind of mess that ends in. Marx assumes all humans think alike, the worker ant theory one might say. More or less the same could be said if any pure system would be applied with law backing it. Someone dies ( actually usually masses do typically). Purism is a great insanity ... it's child is always and forever death.

I have hear much criticism of this movement by media from various outlets. I think they don't get it. We are witnessing a kind of pre-French revolution of a sort. Well, very pre. This is only signs of things to come. Mortgage schemes, no jobs, government bank pay offs, the top 1% becoming insanely wealthy on the backs of people lost pensions, and life insurance policies, and wholesale mockery of the sum of the working class in the USA. Frightening to say the least. The vast majority of people just want a job, and want to be able to put a roof overhead, feed their children, and take care of loved ones when they get sick. The 1% as they have been come to be known laugh and have their cronies on Fox News, talk radio, and other outlets say "Let them eat cake." I think we all know what happened after that statement was made a couple of centuries ago. A lot of "beheadings". The 1% are fools to persist, but they are at least consistent with their foolery. I fear the zero hour is close at hand.

Ok, I wish I could have sympathy to the plight of the "Palestinians", but considering they let terrorists run their country, and they are terrorists I don't. They in my opinion defeat their cause by forcing an imprisoned Israeli solider to "a forced" interview before release. Why do these Arab types do this shit? Surely they know that this may fly with those in their circles, but the vast of the rest of the world are not going to be cheering them on. That solider looked like a starved Holocaust victim. Leaving me to say something that I am not proud of. I question that Palestine should even come into existence as long as terrorists run it. Hammas are "terrorists" in the most classical sense of the word. I ask what your does brutality display to the rest of the world? What does it say about Islam? It says "we are barbarians" plain and simple. So I don't know were to go with that. Currently, you have lost my support of any independent Palestinian state due to sheer lack of diplomacy, and flagrant display of terrorist zeal. So play fair, or get off the fucking court.

Election 2012 USA

So who do I think I will vote for in 2012? The answer is currently unknown. Right now there is a choice between someone who is proven to do little to nothing about the economy, and grants concessions to those that sorely don't deserve them. I voted for the guy in 2008, but since he is a extreme disappointment. On the other side there is crazy ... one candidate after another trying to out insane almost in a kind of "mockery" to the plight of the lower and middle classes of this nation. These "bastards" are no friend to the majority in this country. They are even more "bought" than the man that currently is in office. I would perhaps even grant them the term "monsters" of pure and absolute evil. Anti-Christ? No, that would be an insult to Anti-Christs everywhere. Pure buffoonery. Leaves me with the question who do I vote for? Unknown ... unknown. I know what we need, but I don't know how were are going to get it. That is ... Balance.

The Weekend

Visited mom this weekend. Did some lawn work. Worked on some photos, gamed, and got with Ann last night for dinner, Dr.Who, and the Tudors both season finales. S06E13 was excellent for Doctor Who. Didn't get to see Ann much this weekend because of her having to work super long hours, but it appears to be done for now.
I have left the weekend very tired.

Photo Shoot last weekend

The previous weekend I shot with Wendy, and this last weekend I did a full shoot with Hellcatharlowe. Wow, was I not used to it. I'm on day two after the shoot, and I am like seriously sore. However, I had a great time. I really like working with her. It is our 4th time. Still having minor light issues, but as long as the flash works then the pictures usually come out well. Then if need be I work them with a variety of programs I have to fix some issues. Have to finish up a "series" tonight so that I can give her the DVD in the next couple of days.

Last Weeks Photo Shoot

I did my first photo shoot since 2009 last weekend. It was with a woman that I knew from high school. Actually had a crush on her, but was to shy back then to say anything. Well that and I was a C student. I didn't know how well a top 1% would go with me asking her out even though I was a senior and she was a freshmen. I felt intelligence would trump grade status, or it seemed it would logically. Wendy did a fantastic job modeling. I unfortunately didn't do so well. This was the first time I did a shoot in my present environment, and the lighting ended up yellowing, and blurring a lot of the work, but not all of it. I hope to get to work with her again in the near future. I need to have some regular glamour shots mixed in with my more darker fair. Talking about darker fair I am coming up on another shoot with someone I have worked with before, and had really good results with. This time I will have lighting considered upfront so we won't be having the same problems as I did last weekend. Write more about that shoot later.

Another Return

It seems like no matter what I do to try to make a personal blog via WordPress I get shot in the foot. It was put on my sites server, and lasted a grand total of a month before shitting itself, and you were no long able to push a title header, and go to that specific blog entry on it's own. It would just error out. So, here I am ... again, on Blog spot. Not happy about it for a number of reasons, but it is a lot more stable than the self ran alternative.
