Welsh Singer Songwriter Katie releases her debut album Back With You. With soulful vocals, this album is loaded with great catchy melodies and lyrics. Katie, a vocalist and Jazz Singer from Wales has broken on to the new jazz scene and has been compared to singer songwriter Katie Melua as well as various legendry female vocalists including Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez and Amy Winehouse.

Katie is an outstanding new jazz singer songwriter from Pembrokeshire, South Wales, UK .Her singing career began when she was 5 years of age and would copy Whitney Houston songs one word at a time over and over and over again until she could sing them note perfect.Between the age of 7 and 10 years she performed as lead singer of the choir at the annual Eisteddfod ,the largest and oldest cultural festival in Europe . Katie also won the annual singing competition every year for 10 consecutive years until she broke all previous records for taking first place and decided to stop entering.

She has made several television appearances on BBC Wales in programmes hosted by TV presenter Owen Money where she performed songs by Katie Melua, Fairground Attraction and Whitney Houston .

This incredibly talented Welsh Singer Songwriter continues with her singing as a career, performing at various venues around Pembrokeshire.

Katie has been the featured guest artist at many events often to help raise funds for local charities . Whilst at one of these events in 2009 she met Brian Clayton, a songwriter, musician and producer . They found they could work together very successfully and have spent the past 18 months recording a variety of their own original material finding influences from soul, pop, acoustic, jazz and new jazz genres. Artists who most influence Katie are Aretha Franklyn, Dusty Springfield, The Carpenters, Diana Ross and Tina Turner.

It was difficult for them to choose songs for this first album the 11 songs which make up Back With You were selected with the input and help of several thousand fans and followers .There has been a tremendous response to the preview of this debut album attracting fans and radio airplay across the globe,

Katie is now known for her fabulous voice, the meaningful lyrics and great melodies in all her songs . She has her own distinctive sound but is still being compared to her role model and a number of other famous female singers Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez , Duffy, Adele, Amy Winehouse to name just a few.
