Islamic Wedding/Malaysian Weddings Ceremony

Hello Buddy,

Today i wanna to share about Muslim Wedding Ceremony especially Malay Weddings Ceremony.Malay weddings is not same with english or other ceremony in the world because Malay Region using islamic custom in their life.

Merisik

Firstly before a couple marry each other,a men and thier family should come to women house to see her family's and ask mom and dad about thier daughter's.If a girl teen or women is single men side can move on to second step.In first step,we call that "merisik or melamar" in malay.

In "Merisik" progress,normally men parent's give first ring to future daugter-in-law.

Keyword for first step is meet women parent with his family to ask about female status.If single they can move on to meminang.

Meminang

Second step is meminang.Meminang mean first tie before marry.Now look picture below.

This Picture show how meminang custom happened.Men And Lady sit together in front "Iman" and Lady Father's.

Look at men head,you can see a men use "Songkok".Its a unique custom special for muslim wedding ceremony.

..and this is Songkok.Songkok not same with cap or hat.

In bertunang ceremony,Men and Lady familys will change gift with each other.The gift we call it "hantaran".Hantaran is special gift from men family to lady and lady family to men.Normally men sent 5 gift and lady must sent back 7 gift.

Give the new couple a wedding gift that is personal and reflects them and their relationship. I guarantee that they will want to show it off forever!

2) Not Unique: A gift registry is simply a listing of all the things the couple wants for their wedding that they need for their new house. How unique is that? Not very! Think outside the box. Be different and buy a wedding gift that is unique!

3) Not Creative: It is impossible for a wedding gift from a gift registry to be creative because you as the buyer did not think of the item as a gift for the newlyweds. The couple did.

4) No “Wow” Factor: Personally, when I buy a gift for someone for any occasion, I want the recipient to open the gift and say, “Wow… that is really neat!” That will not happen with a gift from a gift registry.

So, be creative and unique by giving a very personalized gift as a wedding gift and you will definitely create a big “WOW” when the newlyweds open the gift.

What is a wedding or what is a wedding suppose to be?

A wedding now is an expensive rip off to take you for everything you have so that the bride can turn into a monster and everyone can watch her grow horns and treat everyone horribly so that she gets her way (ever watch bridezilla) .

A wedding is suppose to be the joining of two people into a wonderous life of love, joy and happiness. Where families get together to show their love and support for their children as they merge their lives into one. To grow together, to see the future through loving eyes and friendship that should last forever. To bring beautiful children into the world and teach them all the loving values that have been taught through each generation. (in a perfect world anyway) God bless!!
