I was so into online shopping since the day I got my hands with this keyboard hahaha! I think I ordered almost all sorts of stuff sold online..(crazy??!) perfume, food, soaps, clothes, chocolates. make-up. Name It, I probably bought one online lol! and the shipping has not been always been kind to me. There were many times that my package would be delayed, Or the messenger is lost. which is absolutely one of the most absurd reason they gave to me. They were just probably lazy to look for the address and just continue looking for my house the following day. Arrrgh!(pirate? lol)

Ok so now I don't need to worry about that. why? because two of my favorite things are now sold at WATSONS! Yay! When I saw my fave stuffs.. I was like.. Finally!. I don't need to transfer money just to pay, or walk to the bank. I just need to go straight to watsons and whoala! i got it without delays and inconvenience. Ok so you maybe asking what are those stuffs that i got?

First fave...

I have been addicted to this soap that i have been using for years now, It's the black pearl soap from Cyleina. I don't really have the whitest skin but this soap maintains my fairest. papaya soap, kojic, name it ... it didn't work for me.. hahaha! anyways. I just love how this soap works better than those expensive branded ones that will just leave your skin super dry. geesh!

Another fave of mine is the sugar wax. Ever since I started using this(sold-online sugar wax) I was very very impressed. I used to shave a lot but it does leave me with cuts and such. And so in 2010 I've decided to try waxing. And although there were so many painful reviews about it hahaha!, I chose to try to cold wax. Yes it did hurt a bit. but not like those in the movies that they would cry the hell out of themselves... well, maybe if I will try the brazilian hahaha! anyways, I have been buying this sugar wax online.. ...that I wouldn't like to name because I've been loyal to it but now I'm dumping it to a cheaper and better one. hahaha! It's actually very good. But I never thought that I would find something better and cheaper!! yes you heard that right!

I so love Nanny Rose hot and cold wax.I got it for P99.oo only. Now, just for those who haven't tried cold wax before, you should learn it's how to's first, maybe try to watch some you tube videos. Why? nanny rose only have steps on how to use the hot wax. which I never tried. But didn't have the steps for cold wax.. It's actually very simple. but it might take some time before you get the hang of it. Really depends. but for me.. this is the best so far.!

there you have it.. Now I have more reasons to stop my online shopping addiction! or maybe not! hahaha!

Yesterday... was I guess not-so-bad day for me. I went back to pick up my precious(laptop). I kind of got that "my precious" thing because, It's my sword for my everyday battle, there is no day that I don't use my precious. because this is what I use for work every single day of my life. Alright so enough with my P... Yesterday I went back to pick up my p from the store because they replaced it with the fatherboard (yep this is my guy version lol) because it has some audio problems.And it's ok now.(thank God!) It was around lunch time and I haven't eaten anything since that morning.

So since I'm just alone. I thought of eating at WENDY's. My ever high-school burger bestfriend. I haven't eaten there for a long time, like years.. Why? Because the nearest branches around the metro vanished! I mean .. What happened to wendy's? There were so many days that I crave for bacon mushroom melt, baked potato and of course frosty!

SO yes I guess you already got my point. And so I did. I went there and hoping would have a very satisfying meal. but I was wrong. I was a bit disappointed. ,Oh! maybe I was really disappointed. The regular frosty was like just half of the original one, and the patty! the patty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my dear lord! why have you shrunk? and I mean really shrunk! It was like this, when you unwrapped it, you will see the patty showing off, but that was just that side, and not on the other sides of the burger. It was like playing hide and seek with the patty..(exaggeration of course). the thickness were also reduced, their posters were deceiving (like what would you expect from advertising?? lol). But oh well, though I'm disappointed in some way, I was happy reminiscing my high-school days, when Wendy's were such a hit and were just few blocks away from school. Now, I have to go a mall if I want to get my tastes buds to shut-up.

I'm trying to make a difference this year.. hopefully it will go well, There are so many things that keeps me busy and will keep my busy for the whole year around. First my kids are growing and somethings are sometimes getting out of hand. So I have to be more and more careful and organize (which is really not that easy for me) but i will try to follow each day's to-do list..
First I'm so into making little flowers and turning it into headbands for babies and little girls. I so find it really cute and very relaxing. Whenever I finish making one. I feel really good, and so I'm turning it into small business. You can check it out on Facebook or my website.

Another thing that really kept me busy since last year is Tone a day. It so easy to do while earning some cash. you just rate words and whoala! but since nowadays there were so many new members adding up, They

changed some rules and lessen the chance to earn much, But i still find them a good-paying site.

It's been a while since my last post.. well, I have to say that I have been to many ups and downs. And I have proven again and again how God is so good to me, That sometimes I think I'm not worthy of his love and blessings.

This year, I have so many plans that I wanted to happen and I'm trying to make it happen. But i noticed that some of these plans of mine are so hard to begin with. There were many hindrances and so many reasons that I really don't know where it came from. Then I realized that maybe God was just helping me in a way.. Telling me that although I think I'm ready, I am actually not. I noticed that every time I pray for something. Those prayers were not answered immediately, and so I waited. Until there's another blessing that came to us. but still not that ones that I really praying so hard. There was this one time that I felt like God knew that, that day would come and I felt like it's the end of the world to me. I prayed so hard, prayed like I've never prayed before, prayed like It was the first time. I wasn't expecting but the prayers were answered right away, I mean like just minutes. I didn't know how to thank God for that day.

My husband was promoted this year, And my better half thinks that that's the best gift for us so far, but for me, the best blessings was those of the simple things, Every time I see my children happy, and well. Every time I see my husband satisfied with my cooking, Every time I thought I wouldn't make it but I am still here... standing.. Those were the simple blessings that for some people would be nonsense. These are the things that makes my simple days complete. but of course it wouldn't hurt if I ask for something else. And that's between me and the Almighty.
I'm not perfect, nobody is. but sometimes the biggest problems in our lives is just a prayer away. And for those who don't believe that prayers can move mountains.. ... try to pray tonight.

The karate kid on a father's day

First of all Happy father's day to all the daddies out there especially to my better half.

I just finished watching The Karate Kid.. And I felt like it's worth my post. Yes, I'm a huge fan of Jackie Chan.. I've seen almost all of his movies.. ( haven't seen the little big soldier) . I can't forget how my High school English teacher told me that his stuntmen( including the crew and staff) were mostly Chinese and Filipinos. (Filipinos!!!?) And that Filipinos has a special place in Jackie Chan's Heart. And how in the world did my teacher knew about it? Even if she was halfway around the world? His husband was one of them and was working for him faithfully for years. My English teacher showed all of his pictures. And God knows how I felt that day... Dying of Envy. Ok enough of the nostalgia..

This movie has high and lows. I have to say that it's not much like of the original hit. A lot was changed, the wax-in wax off thing was replaced with the jacket on-jacket off. Jaden was younger than Ralph. Mr Miyagi is Japanese. And of course the title issue!. It seems like the 2010 remake was 60% focused with the new younger audience, that would definitely made a lot of parents looking for Kung-fu school for their kids after seeing this movie. Either the Smith's goal is to make some big bucks and show-off how talented their kid is. Or to make-over a totally-already-good movie and trying to make it better. I really don't care... I love the movie. For me, the original was great. But this is a totally new movie.. and seeing it that way made me feel like this movie was meant to be on it's no.1 position in the box-office. The Chinese kids were really good. And Jaden was a natural. and Jackie Chan still has it. I super like the movie and that's my opinion, period.

New Year.... New Beginning.

Time flies, and i mean really really fast, I'm so excited with this new year, Although there are many competitions I've decided to have my own business. AN online store for perfumes and secret lens.

I was thinking of selling clothes then. And I'm still thinking if i will pursue.But for now I've decided to go with the perfumes and Contact lens, But then again I was also thinking of dropping the perfumes as well. But My husband told me to just let it stay for a while and check how it will go after a month or two.

I actually fell in love with these Authentic Korean Contact lens. Also known as the secret lens because they were once the secret lens for Korean and Japanese Actors to have those bigger brighter beautiful eyes.

My 1 year old son hates cockroaches so much.. well, who doesn't? anyways, It's like he will do anything just to get rid of it, or ran away or cry... everything. He has this very very funny face whenever he sees one. SO one way to make him stop of whatever his doing is to tell him that there's a cockroach around.

Yesterday, while he was so busy playing and running and all. I was kind of tired of following him, My daughter told me that Joe's Apartment was on HBO. For those who haven't seen it. It's an old movie about a guy who was messy enough to share an apartment with bunch of roaches.

So, I got an idea, We all went to the bedroom and we watched Joe's apartment. I showed my son the bunch of roaches on TV. And he went right straight on the bed in between me and my daughter. And he was like an Angel..... LOL!! He was not very scared but i can feel that he doesn't want to play or move or run. the TV is big enough for him to see those creepy roaches in details... So funny!

Ok, So this morning, I went to mall to pay my bills, and on my way to the mall I had to commute of course, I kind of had 2 funny encounters with granny's.. It was pretty cool.

The first granny was when I was just on my way to the mall. I took the jeepney ( if you had no idea what it is, It's one of the public transportation in the Philippines, If you still have no idea just google it) ok so she was sitting in front of me, And I was very curious why she seems like looking at her feet,and then looking at my feet. She kept looking to people and then looked back to her feet. And then when i Looked at her feet, She was actually checking on her new pair of flip flops (havaianas). Her face was like talking saying " hey people look at my new pair of Havaianas". Now I understand why she was also looking at my feet, because I was wearing my own pair. Pretty trendy Granny! LOL!

The second granny encounter, Was when I was on my way home. Another granny was sitting in front of me. But this one was pretty typical silent kind of Grandma but I found her to be cute, She was texting and all, Suddenly her phone rang. and you know what was the ringtone? It was "poker face" by Lady gaga! LOL!! I really think it was cool because her ringtone might not match her looks but she was definitely still young at heart.

It's been 3 days, and I"m still sick, i mean super sick, Caught a cold, cough and the worst thing is that my children were sick too. (sigh)

Weather has been such a pain, Today it was sunny and within just minutes it was raining, Then it will be so hot, then it'll be cold in the evening... wait? Why am i blaming the weather? LOL! anyways, I just feel so sick today... still. It's so hard to have classes when you have clogged nose, and sore throat due to excessive coughing. WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

One of my student told me that I sound like a guy, so yes that's a very clear sign that I have to rest for a while, so I canceled my classes even if I really wanted to continue until midnight. shucks! another boring week,

I just want to say that Manny just proved once again, how a great and smart fighter he is now. I eagerly waited this game, And because it was "always" delayed telecast on national TV, to give way to Tons and Tons of advertisements hours before it will be telecast, I had to listen to the radio, Because We don't have Pay per view in our cable. I know how fast Manny Pacquiao is, I think nobody in the Philippines missed any game of Pacman, So everybody knows how great boxer he really is.

I just always had this feeling, the feeling whenever he plays. He looks very small and would look like he'd fall down in just one punch, but that was just the total opposite. That would be the hardest thing to do, to Knock him out! His speedy Gonzales punches and moves would probably the best and the main reason why he is now the first boxer to have the 7 title belts. Awesome! simply awesome. Although everyone seems to be looking forward to Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. I just think this is not a very easy deal, why? Floyd Money Mayweather wouldn't agree with 50/50 with this game, And Bob Arum wouldn't want to have 40/60 so, shucks! Damn greediness!

Ok so here's an exclusive scene in the much awaited 2012 movie, I really can't help but be amaze with this movie. I'm really looking forward to watch it. Actually, I can't wait. I'm trying to lessen my expectations so I wouldn't be dissapointed in any way or in any how. But I'm still excited.

Last night I let some of my students watched this video, And guess what? I got a lot of different point of views, Thank God for that.! why? It means that I have intelligent ones on my list. They are not just "yes teacher" kind of students, And they even gave me crazy answers like " I hope this is true so I have one good reason to my wife to buy that expensive sports car"( he was just kidding of course) anyways heres's the vid. First and foremost I just wanted to point out that this post has nothing to do with the Halloween feel. I just felt like sharing this story that still leaves me wondering every time. It just happened last night while I was talking to my 16-year old student trough skype. And when were just about to start having our typical class. We both heard an old style kind of doorbell that was usually found in old creepy houses. It was so loud that we both reacted at the same time , She said " would you like to get your door?" While i was saying... " someone's at your door. And we both stopped. She said "We never had doorbell. I told her that we never had one as well.

I asked her what sites were opened that time on her computer, She said it was just facebook and facebook has no sounds unless you were playing some games, She said that she was not playing anything. I myself has no sites opened, just google. We both heard the doorbell with our speakers. I even asked her that maybe it was her cellphone's ring tone. But she said it wasn't. I'm just wondering where the sound came from, And we both felt that it was so strange. She swears that she has nothing on her computer, and we're both speechless.

Sometimes I wonder how some people destroy other people's lives and make it a living hell in their own mediocre way. Right sis?!!! Come on! The world we live in is far from perfection but why some people born to be so Freakin' perfect?! So scary?!!.......... NOT!! I just felt bad for the little ones that they think they can play and bullied. Well, Guess what? For those all of you unkind-perfect-self centered bastards. You're just doing this because you have your own insecurities hiding under your skin and tried to just let people show that your far better from the others.

Go ahead ask your parents? Why were you like that? or maybe go back in time, check how you were brought in this world, Are your parents too good too be true? or maybe they were just like the ordinary parents who love their children so much, It's just that you've placed yourself in the box thinking that it would be better if you will just follow your own rules, in your own smart-ass world. I'm sorry. I'm not perfect. excuse me for my words. Ok here's the thing. You are human, unless you were from planet-X trying to pretend that you are one of us. GotchA! LOL!

This is just my opinion alright, I got bunch of semi-perfect, crazy, mute, lazy-asses, too much too handle, normal, abnormal friends as well. We all have that, right? These kind of people were all both acceptable and unacceptable in this world. And we still love them for that. Now those people who find this post like a bullet that went straight right into your head, or you just want to correct my poor English and make this article a "mistake-free" Then you are probably Sheldon of the big bang theory. But even Sheldon is loved by his wonderful geeky friends. Why? because everyone has a soft side. So yes there is still hope.

I miss my baby

It's been two weeks since I last posted. My nanny quit last week and I have to work and take care of my kids more than everb. It was really tiring but It was all worth it. The only problem was that every night I have to leave them to my parent's house and then pick them up in the morning. It was kind of hard to do this everyday. But this is for my kids sake.

My husband decided to ask my mother-in-law to take care of our youngest, It was ok, I have nothing against it. We used to do that with my eldest before, when she was younger. It's just that this would be the first time for my youngest to be away with me for a very long time. So I felt very sad and I missed him already. Sometimes I wish I'm not working. or I will just stay at home. But that wouldn't be helpful to us financially. SO yes, I'll just pray to GOd that he would take care of us. I miss Eouri so much WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH~~!

It's another talent show, This is not the first time that my daughter joined the talent contest at school, She always wanted to dance. She loves to dance and I'm so proud of her, but i noticed that almost 80% of the students who joined danced. All those students lost the talent contest. Yes that includes my daughter. It was ok for her no hurt feelings at all.

This November is another talent show and she wanted to dance again, I don't want her to get dissapointed again, so I was thinking if she could do another thing instead of dancing. I noticed how good my daughter when it comes to mimic those harry potter characters, i was thinking ... what if she could tell a story in that wonderful accent? It's my goal this week to look for a story that would perfectly match that new found skill... LOL! good luck to us

The Sweet Mooncake.

Just today we received another mooncake from our Chinese friends. I'm really not a big fan of this delicacy, but I can tell that the one we received today taste deliciously good. It was like a tasty bread with different sweet fillings inside.

But do you really have an idea why they call this thing a moon cake? I mean why not sunny cake? or why not sweet bread? Chinese bread? The moon cake is related to the mid-autumn festival that Chinese and Taiwanese usually celebrates around August of the Lunar Calendar. Tomorrow my students and the rest of the Chinese people will celebrate this big important festival. In Taiwan they usually spend their time having a barbecue from afternoon til evening. And yes they usually buy and give moon cakes to each one another.

Well, I'm not a researcher or anything but based on my students this festival is one of the 3 most important holidays to the Chinese/Taiwanese. Moon cakes are made of salted egg yolks with different sweet fillings. Well before it used to be just the plain round bread with Chinese characters on it. But now it has different varieties, shapes and flavors. And it also comes with different and very artistic boxes and packaging.

The typhoon "Ketsana" still remains not only in the memories of the people in our country, but also remains on the streets, houses, schools, offices, shops etc. everywhere you go. You can see the nightmare that "ketsana brought. This is one of the hardest scenes in the Philippines for a long time now. This month-worth of rain is really the most of all for many years.

Not a perfect time for celebration

Yesterday was my birthday, But it wasn't such a big deal. Well, I want it to be a big deal, but i just felt like this wasn't the right time to really celebrate. At this point my country has been hit by a typhoon that is 30-day worth of rain in just one day. So in the end it was a flash flood.

This was actually the first time in my entire life that I saw the Major cities in our country was under water. I mean literally under water. Just today I went out with my daughter to go to the bank to pay some bills. I was very shocked! There was this part in our place that belong in the low-lying areas. And yes it was really shocking to see the many houses, establishments and even malls were greatly affected. It seems like I'm in a movie were I woke up and I'm in a ghost town. Many shops were all covered with mud and all the items were all wet and soaked in mud.

The motorcycles in the Motorcycle store were all covered with mud. And all of the staffs and employees were helping dry up and clean all the motorcycles. I felt bad whenever I saw people begging for money on the streets, asking for almost anything. There was this guy who seemed to have lost his family so i felt really bad so I gave some money. My daughter asked me why, and I just said" were helping them sweetie" And when we got home. I felt like Giving something to those people who are in need is such a feel-good experience for me. So yeah, birthday is fine!

Talbot's surprising change.

I have been watching videos from Red Chair Confessions. And every time the site come up with a new video.... I just can't wait to watch it. Alright so the videos are telling a story, Of a woman who is having a problem, a secret that has been kept for a long time, She became obsessed with it and... and..... I'm not going to tell the whole story. But I was really thinking that these videos is advertised by a certain company.

But to my surprise, It was Talbots I was like.... "What?" Really?. It was so new, very modern hip and trendy. I was thinking of another actually. Like Ben Sherman or something. But It was Talbot's. The clothes are very modern, I was thinking about the old Talbot's, but it was very different now. The styles are just so cool, the younger generation would really appreciate this cool change and at a reasonable price.

You could check their new line of clothing and tell me your favorite by posting a comment here. My favorite is the cotton Lawn popover. This blouse would go well with my jeans and short pants. I know it will look good on me, And probably yours too.

Alright so my student went to Beijing last week and he told me that his main goal was to buy a new phone in China, Knowing that is cheaper there, He already prepared some money. After one week he went back home without any phone.

He was really hoping to buy a new iphone, he heard that it was really cheap there. I actually told him that he should check where it was made of. I have nothing against China, It's just that there are so many fake stuffs out there that are made in China. He told me that he found a lot of IPhone sold there, But he also found a lot of imitations there. It was so alike, It's just that the fake ones are harder to use. It's touch screen is not soft touch, It's super hard touch before it moves. He doesn't want to fool anybody buy buying a fake one, because of that he lost his interest of buying a new one.

So when he went home in Taipei. He bought a 100% real Apple IPhone.

I can't believe myself, I registered for my lot 3 years ago and just left and didn't even try to use my account! Just this month I used it again because I heard that many people like it so much. Aside from you get an extra few cents with it,'you will enjoy the company of the people. My friends in my lot were really great and helpful to me. I was really surprised with the responses of the people who replied to my questions and topics.
