Sql Server 2005 Installation Guide for Beginers

Follow Steps to make a successful Sql Server 2005 installation..

Step 1.

Install Window Installer from Sql server Tools Cd.

Open redist folder and execute windows installer as

shown in Figure 2.

Now open SQL server installation CD Folder or CD

And open setup.exe to start the in installation. Figure 3

Click the check box and click next.

Now click on install the prerequisites components to SQL Server. Figure 5

Now Click on Next after completing installation of components.

Select next and next until SQL Server Service Select window does

not appear Fig. 11

Step 4:

Select ALL Components and click on Next, and Next Again,If you are installing SQL Server First Time on your Computer.Other wise you have to change the instance name on next window Fig 12.

Step 5:

Click the built –in System Account radio button to select local system. Fig 13

Step 6:

Choose SQL Server Login Methods

Use Mixed Mode to connect it with integrated security and User login. Best for programmers to connect with database, either with windows authentication or SQL server login.

Give your desired SQL Server sa account password. And click on Next. Fig 14

Click Next and Next ..

Click Install to start the installation of SQL Server.

How to install Turbo C++ on Windows 7 64bit

Few days ago we have posted an article about installing Turbo C++ on 32 bit Windows 7.

Now we are providing step-by-step procedure how to install Turbo C++ on 64 bit Windows 7.

1. Install the software DOSBox ver 0.73 : download here

2. Create a folder,for example „Turbo" (c:\Turbo\)

3. Download and extract TC into the Turbo folder (c:\Turbo\): download here

4. Run the DOSBox 0.73 from the icon located on the desktop:

5. Type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]: mount d c:\Turbo\ [The folder TC is
present inside the folder Turbo]

Now you should get a message which says: Drive D is mounted as a local directory c:\Turbo\

6. Type d: to shift to d:

7. Next follow the commands below:

cd tc

cd bin

tc or tc.exe [This starts you the Turbo C++ 3.0]

8. In the Turbo C++ goto Options>Directories> Change the source of TC to the source directory
[D] ( i.e. virtual D: refers to original c:\Turbo\ . So make the path change to something like
D:\TC\include and D:\TC\lib respectively )

How to start TurboC++ in the DOSBox automatically:

You can save yourself some time by having DOSBox automatically mount your folders and start
Turbo C++:

For DOSBox versions older then 0.73 browse into program installation folder and open the dosbox
.conf file in any text editor. For version 0.73 go to Start Menu and click on "Configuration" and
then "Edit Configuration". Then scroll down to the very end, and add the lines which you want to
automatically execute when DOSBox starts.

Automatically mount and start Turbo C++3.0 in DOSBox ver 0.73:

Scroll down to the very end, and add the lines:

Those commands will be executed automatically when DOSBox starts!

Please note:

Full screen: Alt and Enter

When you exit from the DosBox [precisely when u unmount the virtual drive where Turbo C++ 3.0
has been mounted] all the files you have saved or made changes in Turbo C++ 3.0 will be copied
into the source directory(The directory which contains TC folder)

Don't use shortcut keys to perform operations in TC because they might be a shortcut key for
DOSBOX also . Eg : Ctrl+F9 will exit DOSBOX rather running the code .

Dear friends, we know that creating a software or product is easy in software development, but maintaining its quality is very hard. During the software development process testing of the software is also a main process which is done by software testers.

Software testing is an investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with information about the quality of the product or service under test. Software testing also provides an objective, independent view of the software to allow the business to appreciate and understand the risks at implementation of the software. Test techniques include, but are not limited to, the process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding software bugs. Testing engineers are the bone of this process either it is 'Manual testing' or 'Automation testing'.

Basically, Testing provides a way to produce good software. Testing is necessary for every kind of application either windows applications or web application. Without testing software no any company can produce good quality software's.

So Software Testing not only provides you an early job opportunity but a stable career also.

Carrier consideration in I.T. Field

Dear friends,

In this article I want to share my view regarding to new IT professional's Field Consideration. This is the main issue with the new IT professional that what will they do for their secure future.

Everyone knows that I.T. Is a vast area. Most of the Student and Trainee are found to be confused about their future work area consideration. If someone expecting for the Development area as their starting carrier but after some time they are not able to get their aim. The main reason is either they are not guided well or not able to consider their skills for particular field.

As I already said I.T. Is vast. If someone wants to be successful in I.T. Field one the most excellent idea for being successful is that judges yourself and choose your work or carrier field according to your skills. For example if someone have good programming skills then you should look for development and if not then you should choose another I.T. Fields like testing, Designing etc.

At last one most key point for getting success in your carrier is that decide your technical and functional area and get you enough skills so that you will become perfect someday. For example : If you want to be a programmer then you should chose one technical area like .net, Java etc. And never think like that you should be perfect in another area, just keep your mind on one technology. If you do alike then it will be same as you have your feet in two boats then you will not be able to be perfect any of those.

Be aware about your carrier consideration and try to be in the touch of new technologies.
