How absolutely fantastic.
The other website which I had started, about the school, (which is an absolutely fantastic place to be, in case anybody had misunderstood), because apparently there was a chance that we would get in big trouble for writing about the school- which makes sense considering the things which we may write about it. And now the amazing Google has found it, which is annoying because we had deleted it. And Google kept a cache. AAAARGGHH!!!!!!!!

Um... what else... school was... okayish today.... i'm getting a ps3!.... if I think of anything I promise that I might put it here.

Oh, I got a pellet gun. The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Without a B, so we arent Lambda. Sorry. Google got it wrong- as in, if you google it, it asks you to change the spelling- well, its wrong. It'll all becom crystal clear in a minute.

Actually, talking about crystal clear, I am now wearing glasses. My left eye is -1, and my right eye is supposedly 0- but in reality its a bit worse then that. Not that you really care- unfortunately, I can now see the keyboard, and so I am back to blogging. Click my name to find out more...

So now I have four eyes. And I drew some eyes, which I might put at the bottom of the post, if I can be bothered.

Anyway, back to Lamda, without a b (James wrote it with a b). We had an exam on Monday(and that was a whole story on its own; the examiner, after waiting on the M25 for hours, was hit by a lorry and went spinning across the lanes. Last week, justy outside our school, a man attempted to commit suicide. Now, does this tie in with the exams coming up, I wonder...).

Back on topic, after the exam, tonight was the performance time. We were made to say the prose and the verse which we had been practicing. In front of all the parents of all the people who do Lamda, and an assortment of teachers. It was bloddy scary (our chemistry teacher gave us a sheet with "blodd" intead of "blood"), but I managed to do it. The glasses made all the lights perfectly hit my eyes, and the exit sign which I was looking at made me feel daft. But in the end, I dont think I did too badly. I mean, I will not get the exam marks for about a month, but my pieces in front of the parents- well, I remembered it all, and, generally, it wasnt too bad.

So much for stage fright (but then again, I was only up there for 5 minutes or so- how bad could I be, even though I was talking throughout), then.

I just hope they didnt get anywhere near as bored as you have while reading this post.

BTW:

As you can see, I got bored after the eye.

A penny for...

9 Blue are hobos.
Okay, since you probably dont know who or what 9 Blue are, I guess I'll have to explain. Sutton Grammar has houses, and 9 Blue are people in Year 9, and in Blue House. Since I am in Red, I can insult them as a class however much I wish.
And in the school playground today, lacking anything educational, or in any way useful, they were playing with money. One of them was throwing a coin, 1p or 2p (and once 20p) into the playground, and a dozen of the 13/14 year olds would pile on top to get it. Broken ankle, deep cuts, and very dirty clothes were not an issue, with the biggest problems being millions of cuts on fingers, and knees. Why those imbeciles dived onto the hard concrete, God knows.
And these people are not the sort one would expect to be scrabbling on the floor- these people have enough money to buy the school blazer, at least (which is unreasonably expensive for how easily it tears).
So that means it must be something else. Maybe it's human instinct to completely destroy yourself and everybody around you for bits of copper. Maybe not. But probably so- otherwise, the ancient philosophy of bribing would be utterly useless. And my future would be ruined.
Humans, however, are not evolved for it. The sign of a proffessional hobo, the fingerless gloves, had to be put on, and the coin was only noticed when it hit the ground. When it hit a puddle, it was a few seconds before anybody realised where it was. Human's just are not evolved to spot flying peices of metal.
And human's are not evolved to stay up late, then get up early, then sleep late without revising for a physics test (I'm top of the physics table, must stay there, must stay there, must stay there),either. So, for the fate of mankind, and for the sanity of every man on earth, I must stop blogging.
Now.

iPod dock

After finding a pretty simple, easy to make guide on how to make an iPod dock out of cardboard, I printed off the single paged guide.

And, as usual, I only found out afterwards that I really needed something else- Cardboard.

This was fairly late at night, and the prospect of spending my thursday night hunting for a piece of card didnt appeal to me particularly. But then I remembered some of thin plasic which I had used to cover my book (no, not the main one, just some small ones). It was thin, and had to work!

Apparently, the plastic was more intelegent then I was, and managed to find a way to constantly fall over. So I gave up for around 7 seconds, then printed off another piece of paper (I had hacked out the template in the other one, rendering it unusable), and began to make it again.

I hope that you are not dimwitted enough to think that I am dimwitted enough to do exactly the same design again. That was because I wasn't allowed.
My grandmother had seen this blog, and deemed to to personal, revealing too much information about myself. I didnt really agree, but I stopped writing here, and stopped writing any sort of diary whatsoever.
But then, on the last day of the trip (31- no, 1st, very early in the morning), my dad said that I could. So here I am.
Happy New Year, by the way.

I won't talk about the main trip, even though it would be able to fill more then one post (and that's the reason why I won't talk about it).
We left on the first, early morning, 3:30, after sleeping for around 1.5 hrs. So we were sleepy. And everything seems to go hazy when I'm sleepy. I was at the airport in an instant.

After the flight back, which was suprisingly tax free (not money, I mean it wasnt taxing), we were forced to entertain ourselves on the airport for 6 hours. 6 HOURS! That was the boring bit. That was the bit when I should have slept.
But I didnt. So I slept on the plane from manchester to gatwick, then on the car journey back home.

I was going to say more here, but I have to go... stuff gets in the way, sorry. I need to go and-

Actually, that would be "revealing too much information about myself".

So bye.

The Trip and Other Things

As you may have worked out by the title and some earlier posts, I am currently in India. It's hot.

My sister, for chrismas, was gifted with a "secret diary", and she opened it on the day the person gave it to us (Sarah and Joshua, or "Unknown people" to you). It needs a password, which is spoken into the machine (congratulations to the company to get girls to say random phrases into some pink and purple plastic), and so other people can't enter, even if they do know the password.

But, with my absolutely fantastic imitation of her voice (which obviously annoys her beyond belief), I can enter. Not that that is important to what I'm getting to.

Which is, after two paragraphs, this: she is writing a diary in a little red book at the moment (since the big, clunky, heavy, plastic diary is big, clunky, and heavy), and I thought I might as well, too.

So, the trip. After a four and a half hour journey in an unfamiliar rented car, we reached Manchester airport, where it was our destiny to stay for quite a few hours, until the 9 hour long flight was due to take off. For once, it actually wasn't delayed(*gasp*)!

The flight was really cramped, but the food wasnt too bad. Since it wasnt too fun, and recollection of boring times isnt something which I wish to indelge in at this time (that'll come later), I'll skip it.

We landed, and queued up. There was a loud woman, who was either mentally retarded or had a bit too much to drink, who made enough of a fuss to be taken to a corner (the scene looked too much like a classroom), where she promptly began to go against the law by smoking. Immediately behind her, a big yellow sign was telling us that smoking was prohibited, and my father, who's strongly against smoking, told her off. Her drunk response was useless, and she was taken out of the room.

My dad knows marathi, and so spoke to the officers who were dealing with our passports in that. It probably didnt help- not that that mattered.

We came home, and I suddenly felt an urge to sleep. So I did. From 6 in the morning (india time) to 11, then again from 11:15 to 2, then to 3, then to 4. We have a grand wooden swing, around the size of a single bed, so I slept on it. Swing. Swing. Swing. Slower Swing. Slower Swing. Slower Swing. Slower Swing. Stop. Sleep. Sleep.

Eventually, my sister decided that she was bored. Her phrase "I'm bored!" constantly reminded me that she was there. And that she was bored. So we went to our cousin's house. And, as usual in this visit, I made firm enemies with the younger one (I must remember not to show this to them).

After some more sleep, I woke up, and it was today. At around 5 in the morning.
Unfortunately, it stayed 5 in the morning for a long time, all the way until around 5:30, when I slept, and the time suddenly jumped to... whatever time it was in my dream. And it was a nice dream, I think. But, as is common with dreams, I forgot it almost before I woke up. Actually, it was after- when I was asleep, I was... um... dreaming it.

My father woke me up earlier, to take me to this parade thing. Today, the 19th of December, is the anniversary of the liberation of Goa from the Portugese. There was a lot of marching, and dances, and songs, and speeches, all en masse, and all compressed into 1.5hrs.

We walked home, talking some insignificant stuff about the pollution from the dozens of cars on the roads. It really is terrible- so much smoke.

And I'm going to have to stop writing at this point- my sister is presenting a presentation which we earlier presented to somebody else, about global warming, and how to stop it in a house. It was for that Lego thingy.

And I'm hot. So I think I'll go to into an AC room.

But I know that I can't. My sister will kill me, as she usually does, with the well known phrase which everybody in the house knows:

"That's not helping save the world, you know"

The First Bit of the First Part of the First Draft of the First Novel by Me

After being... persuaded(FORCED!) by my father, here is the first two pages. In the unlikely occassion that you still think it is remotely readable, and doesnt either put you to sleep or make you want to destroy you're computer- or even if it does- leave a comment. They aren't displayed until I allow them, so I dont have to put it on the site. If you do hate it, dont tell anybody that you do.
And, by the way, it does have a storyline. Even if it isnt really in this part of it...

* * *
The little old man walked- or hobbled along, really- to the door, put off the light, and walked- hobbled along, once again- to his window. The red and yellow flowers, which adorned the curtain, stared up at him like little eyes, watching his every move. He never liked closing them. It was like being alone in a room with only…a few hundred eyes to accompany him. Plus his own. But since his own eyes were safely in his head (and would stay like that, he hoped), they didn’t count as an extra thing.
The curtains were drawn, shutting out the mild yellow light that lit the street outside. It seemed like a normal street at this point. There were the normal houses, the normal trees, the normal road, with its normal complete absence of cars, the normal terrorising teenagers on the streets, stupidly thinking they were cool.
Sam Drade (or “The little old man” to you) tried to go to sleep. It was essential for him. But those curtains…the flowers….little eyes…eyes on curtains on flowers…his eyes on curtains on flowers on….
He fell into a fitful and uncomfortable sleep.
And then it began.
* * * * *
Terry never understood how his friend always knew when the victim was asleep. His friend, Wolfgang, never got it wrong. Maybe it was an art. That’s what Wolfgang wanted them to believe. But even art can never always work, right?
But then, if it didn’t work, the name of the artist wouldn’t be known.
That was the way of the business.
The boy sitting in front of him was young; around 20, although nobody was too sure, including Wolfgang himself. A clump of black, unwashed hair was constantly irritating him, falling on his left eye, which he had a way of getting rid of which looked…different. He was fairly small, and fairly strong, and fairly smart, but yet was far from average. Maybe it was his past. Maybe it was that way in which he looked at people, getting them into a fitful state of uneasiness.
But sometimes not uneasy enough..
Still on the window ledge on which their lives depended (okay, so it wasn’t it great deal. The window ledge was tested to 400kg. And their lives didn’t really matter much anyway), Terry began to lean forwards. His head and shoulders were off, and the only thing holding him in place was Wolfgang. Who, frankly, wasn’t that strong. But the danger wouldn’t last for much time anyway. Terry twisted round and held on to the next window ledge up. It had had a strong metal bar fixed just under it that day, when Terry had come, in broad daylight, and fixed it on. He also had to put a small stopper to stop the window being shut. It was a big risk to him- but no one cared about big risks to him, so he was forced to do it. Next, he pulled himself up using this bar, wishing his rippling biceps were doing the job, and not the guy underneath him. He grunted when he could support his weight, and pulled himself on the window ledge of the floor above; trying to make sure that no one could hear his panting. Wolfgang pulled himself up without any help, using a special method, which was known only to some, in which very little muscle strength is used. But, with the correct expression, and maybe a bit of air to the shirt, he could look like the worlds strongest man. Not that that mattered at the moment. What mattered was the job.
Wolfgang pushed gently on the window. It didn’t budge. With a slightly annoyed look, he pushed harder. The window replied like earlier. He looked at Terry, with the look a teacher gives after being given a homework book with no homework. Terry looked back with a similar look. They let the tension build up, like a massive wall, heating up and pushing everything together, shouting, screaming, making so much noise that the only thing which could be heard was the utter screaming of the-
Somewhere, somebody switched off a light.
Normal sound resumed. But Wolfgang was still annoyed. He could have got in so much easier if somebody -at this point he looked accusingly at Terry, who was slightly confused because he couldn’t read Wolfgang’s mind- somebody had actually done his job. But that somebody hadn’t, so he had to do it the other way.

Advert

I am now officially a celebrity superstar! Yes, I got an advert! You probably remember what I was saying about the final of Britain's Brainiest Family- yep, I got an advert!
They told us that it would be on for a week, and they told us what channel the first showing would be. So we watched it, got dissapointed, and once again forgot all about the whole competition.
And now loads of people at my school have seen it. Its not that great, just me for around... half a second, dissapointed. And my old biology teacher (old as in he hasnt taught me for two years, not that he is actually old) saw it as well.
So now I can say that we "were paid" in a Wii, a holiday (which we really need to book soon), and £100 cash. Which makes me feel better.
But I'm not really some sort of celebrity, famous or anything. Only the people who know me see me, and they dont really act very different apart from some people who want me to put it on YouTube.
But one day, yes, one day, I will be a star! With... a... Nobel Prize! And a Professeur chair thingy! And an advert!

Some Small Things Which Probably Don't Deserve A Whole Blog Entry But What The Heck

Actually, this post is completely and entirely pointless, and, to anybody who has just seen this site for the first time, please ignore this completely (or at least ignore it after reading it... um... okay...).
Just acting as an advert for the following.
1. You see, after that sort of frenzied nonsensical writing, having very little to do was terror. Earlier, if I was bored, or had nothing to do, I simply sat down and wrote some more crap in the story.

But when the story ended, that wasnt really an option.

However, I still have the phenominal task (however you spell that; Blogger doesnt have a spell checker) of editing the whole thing. That's 50, 207 of editing.

I admit that in a way it's my fault. I am, after all, doing some serious editing- i've troughed through about 6K of my work, and already I have 50,500 words. And since I'm doing the whole editing thing in th word editing review thingy, I can see where I've made changes with bold red lines. And, zooming out, there's a lot of those.

So why edit? Its not really a very good reason, but here goes: relatives and friend(s) want it edited. At least one person is begging me (and he'll probably read this then force me to change it over msn), and a few others are just asking. My dad has emailed the first unedited draft to cousins and stuff and now they want to read it.

And in the letter in which we applied to take a couple of days of school to go to India, my dad included a note that I just wrote the novel. So now my headmaster wants to see it.

All this is probably tricking you into thinking that the book is good. Let me just clear things up. It's not. In any stretch of imagination.

By the way, I'm going to India! Partially because my sister wants to go now because its going to be her birthday soon, and partially because... because... its... nice?

In other news, I just got an iPod- the iPod Classic 80GB. Yes, I finally submitted and got an iPod. I've always been against those things, for no particular reason- just they were...too popular. So I'm officially a sheep.

Great.

I just wrote a novel in 27 days and I'm calling myself a sheep.
What have I become?

I WON!!!!!

I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Update on NaNo

34,082. So, we went to the finals- and this might be a roundabout, legnthified way of saying it, but...
We were invited to a hotel in London on Saturday- for a 3 course meal, breakfast, two rooms (for the whole family) and £100 pounds spending money. Cash.
It seemed good, so we went on the Saturday- even though we could go on the Sunday if we had wanted- we lived close enough.
Everything was great until the actual event. It all seemed very nice, and the dinner was good.
We were taken by coach to a lounge, outside a studio, which was where the whole thing was going to be done. In the lounge was some Wii consoles, and so we got some last minute practice in, getting 2057 in the test. Which was very good- nobody had beaten it- ever, I think.
We were favourites to win (did I tell you last time? we got the highest in the heats), so we were forced to go first:(
They took us to the studio and we spent the first 30 mins literally clapping and cheering in the right way, for the right time, with the right actions, in the right places, for the camera.
The commentator (Roy Walker!) didn't actually know the game, the smoke machines had been put on to make the lights look better, and the audience was very excited.
We were told to go up and press start as soon as the atmosphere-music started.

Now, I can honestly say that at home, and at the hotel, even if we messed up everything we never got beneath 1750. Our average was 1800. Best was 2057

We got 1500 ish.

In fact, the first two families messed up. You could see them make silly mistakes which they knew would lose them the game. At the end, like us, they were extremely annoyed at themselves.
After taht, everything went down a bit. The smoke machine was turned off, the crowd settled down, the commentator knew what was going on.

But we didnt win.

Sorry for not posting for so long- NaNoWriMo and homework make a deadly time-spending combination. I'm currently on 10,313-I'm about to write todays quota. Another long thing- I mean, I could have been writing it now. This post itself is 407 words (including the words in this bracket)!

Just a note...

...to say that I am starting NaNoWriMo this year. Look it up if you're not sure what it is. Its basically a challange, to, in a month, write a 50,000 word book- around 200 pages.
Its only meant to be the first draft, but still, thats a lot! So I need something to keep me going, and hopefully this might help. One of the tips to keep going is "tell everybody you know- embarrasment will do the rest" or something like that.

So, anyway, I have to write that much. Starting on Thursday. Lets see how it goes...

Next is... Analyse!

So.....um....news....

Well yesterday we went to Brentcross Shopping Centre. Two reasons: Shopping (you dont say!) andBritains Brainiest Family (http://www.britainsbrainiestfamily.com/).

We had heard of this competition last week, my dad seeing an advert at night. It was going to be on Tuesday (yesterday) and we got the game delivered on wednesday last week. So we had about a week to try to beat all the other families in London. Right.

We still went there.

Long story short, WE WON!!!!!And were currently around 400g better than the next family down! Which is good!

This isnt the final stage- we won a Nintendo Wii, a thomas cook holiday, and a £50 voucher just for this though! After this the 10 families who got through compete again for the grand prize: university fees for your kids. Thats university fees for me and my sister.

So now wii have to practice. The Wii we won will be delivered or somehow given to us today or tommorow- they'll call us. So wii can practice (more) with two wiis.

Oh yes. We also got free t-shirts.

Crowded

Its kind of annoying that noone ever comes here. I guess in total I've wasted quite a bit of time writing this blog, but thats in many other entries when I really havent had a clue about what to write.
But this time I do. So I will.

Anyway, I've got a few things to say. Lets start with Garrisons (or something like that ) farm.

We went there on Sunday. Its basically this massive place where there are loads of fields, each with something you have to pick. Like onions, coliflower, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, space filler, strawberries, rasberries, pumpkins.......

...., and much more! it was much better then I had thought it would be...but then my expectations for it were stupidly low, so even if it simply had a cow with the correct colours I probably would have said how it was better then I had expected. But I wouldnt have written about it anywhere. Especially not here, where sooo many people can read it, and will(yeah right)

Anyway, about this farm. It was actually quite hard to find good stuff, because they had all been picked already :'(. But it was uneven- with carrots, colliflower, and sweetcorn there were millions to pick- but with strawberries, just finding one perfect one compelled us to take a picture. It wasnt too crowded- but then we did only go there in the last few hours of the sunday.

In other news, my sister went to this eco friendly school yesterday. It was meant to be a day she would remember for the rest of her life. After a two hour coach ride, she saw amazing things, like a can crusher, a nicely painted wall with the water cycle, and a clapping game!

But she loved it. It probably had a lot more then what I've briefly described here.

Also, for an art project, we took some long exposure pictures with a torch and a camera. It was really easy- heres some pictures!

And now you can see the problems with not posting for ages....
My posts get CROWDED full of stuff... geddit??geddit??

Annoyed at [name deleted]

Now im annoyed at this guy- [deleted name].
[sarcastic]Hes being leaving comments which are very hurtful [/sarcastic]
but this post is just for him to read....

but ill leave it here anyway....

Lost and Found

I was woken up today earlier then I would have liked by my sister, along with my mum. It was early morning Saturday and I was sleepy. This had better be good.
It turned out Toffee, our hamster (see earlier post) had escaped- and was now somewhere around the house- probably in my mothers bedroom- she heard a noise there. It was probably all down to me because I was the last awake and I think I might have kept one of the cage doors open.... *looks sheepish*
So we went to look, an extremely slow process, because of the everlasting risk accidently harming her with the clothes.
As the title does say "Lost and Found", theres no point in me attempting feebly to build up suspense- and unless I had actually found her, I probably would be in the middle of a mass internet search to see what kind of places hamsters hide and all that.
So yes, we found her in a corner, sort of scared and twitchy. She came to my hand quite easily (okay, there was chocolate involved), and in a few minutes she was back to herself.

Hopefully she wont make the link of escape -> treat....

Anyway....back to life....or sleep....

Bad timing

Why exactly do shopkeepers work at the same time as other people work and we are at school? I mean, wouldnt it be much more efficiant and productive if they worked when we actually could go to them- and didnt close as soon as we are free? During the day surely shops cant get too many customers- so in their main working hours they dont get that many customers- wheres the logic in that???

And on the topic of timings and stuff, I'm still sort of sinking in to this whole back to school thing. Sleeping at 11ish doesent help. In my opinion, schools should be set forwards to, say, starting at 9:00 instead of 8:30 or something like that- and ending half an hour later. Because half an hour in the morning seems like a very long time- that translates exactly to half an hour of sleep for me; and half an hour after school many times is quickly over at a club, or doing homework (oh, joy! I'll post something about how homework generally is a crime worth the death sentence later) or other things at home or in a park or something.

And whats the main issue with this grand scheme? Yes, the fact that shops and other jobs start at the times when we are at school so parents who need to drop thier kids to school will be in trouble.
So if they both changed....

What was that sense all humans are meant to have?? The common one???? It seems to be lacking here....

Tame...

I said in the last post that I was going to post as soon as Toffee is tame and happy in our hands. Well, that day was yesterday. So, as promised:

Yep, proof. And now its all good.

(okay, you guessed it. This is all an extravagant way of saying "YEY! I CAN POST PICTURES!!" without getting the "I" too involved. I was thinking of doing a different post, long, with pictures, of the whole America trip. We've managed (and by we've I mean my dad with a bit of help by me) to reduce the number of pictures to see from four thousand and something down to two thousand and something out of which 150 ish are in a must see, and I'll probably manage to pick out a few less. Not to say that the pictures werent all excellent (ok, most). Oh yes- this is all in brackets.....oops.....)

(cant think of one, sorry!)

Wow! I havent posted in ages! I dont really know why, apart from the simple fact that my hit counter still reads a dissapointingly low number... school still hasnt started, so I'm just at home, attempting to kill the time in an interesting way, and usually not succeding. I'm still sleeping in the early hours- but at least the time is being pushed back earlier and earlier... sort of....

We got a new hamster recently, after our old one sadly died. :'( He (or she, we never really knew even after having him/her for two and a half years) was in a sleeping position, so we at least could know she(/he) died peacefully. Dont even bring up the question of any other positions he could have died.
The new girl (for sure) has been named Toffee, after long consideration over the sweet brown things in life. She is sooo cute, on the second day already accustomed to her new home and exploring outside, in our hands! This all seemed to go wrong one day when, as I put my hand into the cage she bit it- hard! It bled. Not much, admittedly, but my sister got something which still hurts today a few days ago by the same Toffee. So now were trying to tame her again. When (yes, not if) she becomes ready to play again, I'll take pictures... (if anyone has any reason for the sudden change of attitude, please feel free to leave a comment as to how to help).

Now that I've run out of things to say, I guess I'm going to have to kill the time some other way... I dont know what to do today- the sun's not showing all its rays- maybe I should just sit or lay doing nothing...would that make me cray....(zy)???

I'm probably going to delete the above paragraph if I ever read this again. But then these two sentances wont mean anything...

So....until next time...

Bye

Following is

The blog entry before this one, or the one under this one, is my longest blog yet. We did a west coast tour for the first week or so then relaxed for the last 4 days.

This isnt really a blog entry- more for me just in case I forget what we did on each day.

OK.

First day- arrive in Heuston, aunt's place, eat, sleep etc. Remember getting annoyed at someone at passport control, "talking at us not to us".

2- Met dogs in morning, then flight to Los Angeles. Picked up hired car (IMPALA). Went to hotel, then to dinner with relatives.

3- Universal Studios- Great! Everybody got tired, but...

4- Tour of LA about 5hrs. Got hats with our initials. Drove to San Deigo.

5- SD Zoo- massive, fun, interesting. Reccomended. We got to feed Girraffes!!! Found uncanny resembalances to human and gorrilla behaviour.... etc my sister..... It was probably the most interesting thing in the zoo, actually. We were watching them for around 40 mins!

6- SD Wild Animal Park- Full form "San Deigo Zoo's Wild Animal Park". At entrance, were told that it was different to the Zoo because it was " quite a bit smaller, with less animals". Partially true, but it was great in its own respect- we saw the animals in a recreated wilderness- it was better to see them in fields then in a cage!

7- Sea World SD- at first we werent too keen- weve been to the florida one- but after seeing Shamu.... Apart from seeing hundreds of animals and water related things- such as lots of live penguins, polar bears, etc. We also did bungee trampolining and rock climbing (not too sure how they're related to the sea, but they were fun). Flew to Las Vegas, checked in to the MGM Grand! Massive place...

8- Grand Canyon- Bus- Plane (with only our family of four and the pilot)- Helicopter (decent)-Boat-Helicopter -Bus -Eagle Point- Skywalk (which was meant to have a massive queue but it didnt so we went ) - Guano Point- Bus- Plane- Bus- Hotel!
We had three hours or so in which to eat, skywalk, etc.
On the skywalk, theres a glass ground. About 4000 feet up. So you can see between your legs all the way down. and if you jump from the opaque section to the transparant section, you really get the feeling of falling.

9 - Las Vegas Stuff- we went around, saw the Venesian Hotel, got sidetracked to Madam Tuessads, used the massaging demos in shops to cope, made a crystal cube with our 3d pictures (not a painless procedure- the laser decided not to work for the first 3 crystals, and we were running out of time!!!!! Also saw the Circe de Soleil- which is truly amazing. Its just.....sooo...fantastic! Its got amazing acrobatics spaced between comedy shorts and dances and that sort of thing. Its a must see if in Vegas.

10- Collected crystal then flew to Heustan- "our adventure has ended" went to my mums sister's house, which was just massive. With a pool table. And a ping pong table. And cousins (with their dogs). And plans to get a swimming pool in the garden. And...the list goes on. Its also new, so even more excitement.

11 to 14- Relaxed- Didnt do much. We did LazerZone, with most of the family, which was better then we had thought it would be. We went shopping at a few points. We took the dogs for walks, and played lots of pool, and gave them baths, and stuff at home. Went to NASA. Didnt write here because of lack of internet connection apart from my cousins iPhone- oh yes, we did stuff on the iPhone. It was fun.

We returned with an uneventful BA flight. And slept. Then woke up, ate, wrote this and used the internet.

Now the daunting task of somehow sorting out our 4500 ish pictures into "Great ones" And "For Deletion" and just keeping them.

I'm going to be busy.

But it was all worth it.

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
