Every year end at Penang, from November to December, there's a major event called the Penang Carnival or so called the fun fair

I believe this is a favourite event for youngster and kids, with so many games to play, there's no such thing as boring and tiring

As for big kids, apart from the games, you can find a lot of hawkers selling souvenir, food & beverages etc

Not a big hit, but still something refreshing for first timer

if you love to have yourself surrounded by fish and crystal clear water, you gotta come here, Payar Island Marine Park

Be cautious though, Payar Island has not only small cute fish, but big fish too! like ... sharks!

You can access to Payar Island via Penang, the ferry from Penang to Payar Island is only about 1 hour 30 min, enjoy yourself in a warm tropical sea, don't forget to come back to Penang Island, heheh!

Via Penang Port Swettenham, there's one place you can go, that is Langkawi Island.

from Penang to Langkawi Island via Langkawi ferry is about 2 hour 30 min, one of my priority job is to drive my passengers to and fro Langkawi Jetty.

You can rent a chalet at the beach resort or simply go for a self-guided tour around the island

The War Museum is cited as one of the most haunted place in Asia, I wouldn't go in there too!
But, at your request, i can drive you to the entrance, you alone will have to tour around, lets hope, nothing will happen, so that i could drive you back in one piece, heh!
There's many ghost stories heard since the establishment of the War Museum, it's so eerie that i could have my goose bumps just for writing this, okay, i'm starting to feel something is around me right now...

This is yet another heavyweight parade of the year - The 9 EmperorGods Festival, held only from the eve of lunar calendar 9th month, from Day 1st to Day 9th.
During this period, devotees will have to take only vegetarian meals, some for 9 or even 10 days, some for the last 3 days.
The 9 EmperorGods Temple will be open for worshipping and offerings.At night, there will be a series of activities like step through a fire path, dive into a boiled wok with bare hands etc. On the 9th day, a major parade will be held, to "send" the Gods back into the sea.

Okay, this is definitely another attractions of Penang! Eh, flag parade?

Nah, this is the Chingay Parade! Chingay is basically a giant flag performance first performed in Penang (apart from China)

So, what is this all about? The performer will pass the giant flag either by mouth or just using forehead, in order to balance the flag, skill and good stamina is a must

"It is a street art where the performer balances a giant flag that ranges from 25 to 32 feet (7.6 to 9.8m) in height and about 60 pounds (27kg) in weight"

The Tambun Biscuit really taste good, and it is a favorite of most visitors, plus ideal as a souvenir, todays Tambun Biscuit has upgraded alongside the development of Penang, a lot of manufacturers has started to produce them using machines, whereas some still insists the old-fashioned handmade.

Penang is a state in Malaysia and the name of its constituent island, located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia by the Strait of Malacca.

It is bordered by Kedah in the north and east, and Perak in the south. Penang is the second smallest Malaysian state in area after Perlis, and the eighth most populous.

It is composed of two parts – Penang Island, where the seat of government is, and Seberang Perai (formerly Province Wellesley in English) on the Malay Peninsula.
