Paris Hilton’s Brother Was Secretly In Rehab!

We never really hear about Paris Hilton‘s brother, Conrad Hilton…until now!
The heiress’ 18-year-old brother Conrad was secretly seeking treatment in a Utah-based rehab center since August and was released early. Baby brother Hilton was busted on July 30, 2012 for violating his probation, and soon after he enrolled in rehab to make things right by the courts (and you know, for his health).

“Conrad was scheduled to be in rehab until January, but he was released early on November 11, 2012, and returned home to spend time with his family for Thanksgiving,” a source close to the Hilton family tells RadarOnline.com.

It must have been nice being out for Thanksgiving, but Conrad hasn’t been great about staying clean…his troubles started when he was just 17, when the teen collided with two parked vehicles very early in the morning after leaving a Hollywood club. Conrad’s older bro, Barron, also had a run in with a bad car crash in 2008.
C’mon Hiltons- you have EVERYTHING! Try to stay out of trouble, will ya?

"I would give anything in my power if I could trade it for a nomination for one of the girls 'cause they deserve it so much more than I do on 'Hot In Cleveland.' But you can't do that, so I'm just going to be thrilled."

On Season 2 of "Off Their Rockers," White and her senior citizen prankers will head to New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Seattle.

An exhilarating and affecting rock musical that opened Off-Broadway last night at New World Stages, bare serves up an insightful depiction of emotional truths inherent to the sprawling, messy, and often wrenching experience of adolescence.
Formerly billed as ‘A Pop Opera’ when it made its world premiere in Los Angeles in 2000 and Off-Broadway bow in 2004, baregalvanized something of a cult following, and has since seen some two dozen productions both regional and international. A highly anticipated and newly revised production arrives Off-Broadway this season under the energized direction of Stafford Arima with choreography by Travis Wall.
With book and lyrics by John Hartmere and music by Damon Intrabartolo (and additional songs by Hartmere and Lynne Shankel), the show tackles many of the challenges that anyone with a taste for teen movies or musicals will likely recognize as standard territory—with the obvious exception of a sensitively rendered romance between two teenage boys at its center. The hopes and hazards of young love, the thrills and unexpected consequences of sex and substance abuse, the urgent hunger for validation from friends, parents, teachers, and (in this case) God—familiar stakes because each in our own way, we’ve all been there.
The clever hand with which bare brings together the pains and pleasures of being young, and its particular focus on the trials of weathering high school as a gay teen perhaps explain why it has garnered a passionate and loyal following. Though its 2000 world premiere pre-dates several subsequent youth-driven musicals, this latest staging owes much to exceptional recent outings that have made a distinct mark on the landscape, including Spring Awakening and American Idiot, both helmed on Broadway by Michael Mayer.
The scribes present a story that’s alternately witty and quite touching, transforming what was a sung-through opera into a well crafted musical with book scenes that help carve out engaging characters. A virtuosic cast of young performers brings breathable life to a sometimes typical group of high-school students navigating their way through Catholic boarding school.
The furtive gay lovers on whom the plot centers—a sensitive athlete able to pass for straight, and a more obvious candidate for class outcast, are played with endearing chemistry by impressive newcomers Jason Hite and Taylor Trensch, respectively. As their clear-eyed sympathetic teacher (with a crowd-riling turn as the Virgin Mary), Missi Pyle (The Artist) doles out bone-dry wit that cracks like a whip.
Though the whole gang rehearsing for a school production Romeo and Juliet lends formula to the plot, it’s a suitable one—bringing to the fore the high and sometimes blinding stakes of young love and the struggle to keep it secret from misguided powers that be. Seamless integration of mobile tech and digital media in both plot and design reflect the production’s keen understanding of their indispensible influence on how young people think about themselves and their relationships.
Ultimately, bare contributes an important voice to a broader conversation about equality and tolerance, all the more compelling because its impact is both visceral and incisive. Rather than hand out neatly wrapped answers to difficult questions about faith and acceptance, the show lays bare the heartbreaking pain of coming of age in a world in which these questions need to be asked at all.

Beyoncé Nabs A $50 Million Dollar Contract With Pepsi Cola

Back in October we learned that Beyoncé nabbed the coveted upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance slot in a deal withPepsi Cola that we learned at the time included a new TV commercial for the soft drink. Today we learn that Bey‘s deal withPepsi — which includes, among other things, a concert tour sponsorship — will net the singer $50 million dollars. Folks, FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS. Dang. Among the fun things this collaboration with will bring us, the consumer, is a special edition Pepsi can that features Beyoncé on it. The New York Times published a feature story about this $50 million dollar endorsement deal, check out some excerpts from the article below and marvel. FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS, YO! Dang.

FOR its campaign with Beyoncé next year, Pepsi doesn’t just want to sign up the telegenic pop star for another TV commercial. It also wants to get into the Beyoncé business. In an expansion of the recent marketing experiments that have brought PepsiCo ever closer to the music industry, the company has embarked on a hybrid project with Beyoncé that will include standard advertising like commercials as well as a multimillion-dollar fund to support the singer’s chosen creative projects.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

The campaign will coincide with a blitz of promotion for her next album, which has no title or release date so far but is expected in 2013. Sometime after she performs at the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3 (also sponsored by Pepsi), Beyoncé will appear in a new TV ad — her fifth for the soft drink since 2002 — and her face will be on a limited-edition line of soda cans. The less conventional aspects of the deal are meant as collaborative projects that indulge Beyoncé’s creative whims, and might well have no explicit connection to Pepsi products. They are still at the brainstorm stage, but could include live events, videos, “a cool photo shoot” or almost anything else, said Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, the general manager of Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s company. For Pepsi, the goal is to enhance its reputation with consumers by acting as something of an artistic patron instead of simply paying for celebrity endorsements … The multiyear campaign is estimated at $50 million, the bulk of it for media placements and promotions around the world, and the remainder split roughly equally between Beyoncé’s fee and what Pepsi calls a creative content development fund … In addition to the commercial — a collaborative effort between 180 LA, TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles and Organic, all part of the Omnicom Group — and the soda can, the deal will involve sponsorship of Beyoncé’s world tour next year. All the standard sponsorship elements will be present on the tour, like prominent Pepsi logos. That kind of marketing, Mr. Jakeman said, is “still important, but insufficient” to reach savvy young consumers. So Pepsi will also play a role in selecting local talent as opening acts at various points around the world. And who knows — a concert stage would seem a perfect spot for some fund-supported video or social-media experiment. “It’s wise for a brand like Pepsi to give an artist the ability to truly express herself,” said Ms. Callahan-Longo, of Beyoncé’s company, “instead of just the old-school way of, ‘Do you want to be in an advertisement?’” “This is much bigger,” she added. “This is, ‘How can we create something together that is truly unique?’”

This is a very interesting evolution in endorsement deals. The old model required endorsers to merely feature in advertising, pose for pictures, film commercials then walk away with their checks. There are some elements of that old model in this new Beyoncé deal but in addition, Pepsi is going to fun Bey‘s creativity and will allow her to come up with her own ways of endorsing their product. It’s risky but I get it. This way, her endorsement of their product is more organic … and therefore, they assume, more appealing to consumers. This kind of deal only works if the endorser (Beyoncé) takes her role seriously and she comes up with innovative ways to promote. Personally, I think she is the perfect kind of celeb to do this kind of deal. Other celebs would do the bare minimum, I think. Pepsi chose well … Bey is a very hard worker and she is insanely creative. It remains to be seen if this deal will be a boon for Pepsi but I think they bet on the right horse. $50 million dollars is a lot to pay out to one person but my guess is that Bey will give the soda company their money’s worth. We shall see when she takes the Pepsi halftime stage at Super Bowl XLVII if this deal looks like it’ll be a hit right out of the gate. What do y’all think? Is Beyoncé worth $50 million bucks to sell soda pop?

Carmen Electra tried a singing career back in 1992, and it never really took off (wonder why). Seems like the celeb wants to try again!

Carmen Electra knows she has one man to thank for her new dance single, “I Like It Loud.”
“Working with Prince many, many, many years ago, I got a little taste of what it was like to be on stage and in front of an audience and feel that energy,” the 40-year-old pin-up queen told Celebuzz during an interview at a behind-the-scenes rehearsal.
“Obviously my career has taken off in different directions — which I am very grateful for, I love acting — but deep down inside this is what I have wanted to do for so long.
“I have got to the point in my life where I have felt like I have to go for it. Now is the time.”
The dance-electronic track, which hit online stores Nov. 13, is the first song the 40-year-old former Baywatch babe has released since 1992 when her mentor, Prince, produced her self-titled album, “Carmen Electra.”
Twenty years later, Electra revealed all her success on other mediums has never been quite enough.
“In my heart and soul I wanted to get back to music… I feel emotional because it’s [been] my dream for so long,” she added.
The former Playboy Playmate shot to stardom when she replaced Jenny McCarthy as the co-host on the MTV dating series Singled Out in 1997, which parlayed into a movie career in such flicks as Scary Movie, Date Movie and Disaster Movie.

Call me crazy, but I do not remember her singing back in ’92. I had to look her up, and I’m not sure if I’m a better person for doing so. Check her music video for ‘Go Go Dancer’ below.

That's how Sean Avery describes his decision to speak out in defense of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights in recent years. The former New York Rangers star, known for his agitating playing style as well as controversial behavior off the ice, discusses his LGBT advocacy stance at length in a Dec. 8 interview with the New York Daily News.

The 32-year-old, who publicly backed marriage equality in 2011, also claims to have been subjected to a number of anti-gay slurs in recent years. That same year, he was slammed by Wayne Simmons of the Philadelphia Flyers. Also, Avery pointed that the use of anti-gay language by players has yet to be addressed at the NHL labor negotiations.

“My belief is the responsibility lies with the leagues, the way they discipline players, the position they take and use it in every-day incidents," Avery, who is also a board member of Columbia University wrestling coach Hudson Taylor's Athlete Ally organization, noted. "One guy’ll get slapped with a fine, the next day nothing will happen. There needs to be consistency.”

Cyberspace, it seems, presents it own challenges.

“I get called a fag every day on the internet,” he told the Daily News. “You have to police it somehow.”

LeAnn Rimes sat down with Giuliana Rancic on E! and opened up about the affair she had with now-husband Eddie Cibrian, and how that tore apart two marriages. She admits that she wishes she would have handled things differently.
When LeAnn and Eddie began their affair, both of them were married. She had been married to Dean Sherement for seven years, and Eddie had two young sons with Brandi Glanville.
After their affair was captured by paparazzi in 2009, Eddie and LeAnn both left their spouses so they could be together. LeAnn now says she just wishes everyone could get along.

Choking on tears during the interview, which will air this Sunday, she says: ‘All I wish is that everybody we hurt, that I hurt, can be happy.
‘I wish I handled it differently because I wish I could have been better for me, for Brandi, for Dean, for Eddie, for everyone else.’
LeAnn says that she and Eddie carefully considered continuing their relationship and ending their marriages because they knew how much hurt it would cause.
‘No one will ever understand how much thought and hurt were put into our decision,’ she explains.
During the interview, the blonde star also discusses her 30-day stint in rehab, where she was treated for anxiety and stress.
‘When you look around and you go “I’m crying, like, uncontrollably, no one can help me,” that’s when I knew I had to seek help…I was incredibly depressed and not quite sure of who I was,’ she says.
‘People are so quick to judge and make decisions for themselves about situations they know absolutely nothing about.’
Joined by Eddie in the interview, her husband of one year says that it was unfair that his wife was being constantly criticised, as well as himself for their affair.
‘My heart goes out to her every single time she’s getting bashed for something,’ he says. ‘It’s unfair for her and it’s unfair for us. [The affair] wasn’t frivolous, you know.’

I do have to say, enough is enough. I hate affairs probably more than the average person, but even to me this is getting ridiculous. Enough is enough! They had an affair – 3 years ago. Time to move on. I don’t see the point in constantly crucifying them. I tend to lean more to thinking karma’s a bitch. LeAnn’s going to get what she’s got coming to her, sooner or later. Eddie’s going to cheat again, leave her the way he left Brandi. Something will come from this, I’d put money on it!

If you don’t know that Prince William and his lovely wife, Kate Middleton, are pregnant, you deserve a bitch slap and a Real Housewives marathon. Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge is as pregnant as Kate Gosselin – most probably with twins. While most entertainment media outlets have been flooded with articles about Kate Middleton’s impending pink babes, Celeb Dirty Laundry decided to take a look at the impact a baby – or babies – would have on the Royal family at large.

Latest reports have revealed that Kate is planning to name the baby after Prince William’s mother, as the name “Diana” has always been a beautiful moniker for Kate. The repercussions of such a naming would most probably have QueenElizabeth, Prince Charles, and the horrific Camilla Parker-Bowles reaching, all teary-eyed, for a crate of Tequila and Happy Hour specials at the local pub.

We all know how the heavily publicized relationship between Charles and Princess Diana ended, and we also know how the Queen had her panties in a twist over Diana’s public life. Therefore, the royal-slap-in-the-face of naming the child Diana will only force the archaic family to re-visit long forgotten memories and nostalgic bygones of the most iconic figure in human history. And no-one wants that. However, Karma is a catastrophic bitch, and it always comes back to haunt you during your Golden Era. The Windsors, currently at the height of popularity due to Kate’s addition to the family, cannot afford to lose their standing with the public. Unfortunately for them, a naming as controversial as this will only flare up old feelings and emotions in the royalist community.

Prince Charles, the bipolar lover, once upon a time loved Princess Diana as much as he loved Camilla, but their relationship was scarred and mangled by the gauntlets of public opinion and familial pressure. Camilla, on the other hand, managed to win the biggest prize on the planet – a one-way ticket to Prince Charles’bedroom – all at the expense of the beautiful Princess Di. (We have a sneaky suspicion that Camilla will rip out her hair like a raving lunatic at the baby’s official baptism) The Queen, the head honcho of this group of tragic-faces, will in all probability force Kate and William to rename the baby, as Diana’s name has clearly left lesions on the Windsor’s carpets.

The secretive family managed to cover up their tracks when Diana was concerned, but the Windsors have long since moved away from these traditional and ancient ways. Today, they are a modern family with rationalized values. Secrets cannot be kept for too long in today’s interconnected world, so we expect the fallout from the baby’s naming to shock and rip this family apart like an asteroid impact over Christmas.

In six or seven months that ticking baby bomb will explode, whether it’s a he, a she, them, or a Diana.

'Shattered' Australian DJs Break Silence Over Deadly Kate Middleton Prank Call: VIDEO

Last week I posted about the prank call made by two Australian radio DJs to Kate Middleton at the hospital where she was staying while enduring morning sickness. Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who released private information after being duped into thinking she was speaking with Prince Charles and The Queen, subsequently committed suicide.
The DJs, Mel Greig and Michael Christian took themselves off the air last week, and gave their first interview about the tragedy to Australia's Current Affair.

Lea addresses the diva rumors, which she’s done before in almost the exact same way, and she also denies that she was in a feud with Kate Hudson when they worked together on Glee. That part of the interview is particularly funny to me, as is the part where she talks to her boobs. I mean funny ridiculous, not intentionally funny.

On the diva rumors
“I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes be uncomfortable, but that’s as far as it goes. I can assure you that [diva rumors] aren’t real. It’s super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, You can think what you want to think about me – that’s OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends, and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That’s all that matters.”
On a rumored feud with Kate Hudson
This past summer the glossies practically licked their lips relaying work of an on-set feud between Michele and Glee guest star Kate Hudson, who is alleged to have called the stint a nightmare – a rumor Michele flatly denies. She says that when Hudson heard what the tabloids were saying, she called Michele and told her, “I just heard about that, and it f**king sucks. I want you to know I think you’re amazing.” After that, Michele adds, Hudson went “straight to the top of my list because it was so classy of her to take a minute to [address the rumor], even though we both knew it was the biggest piece of crap in the whole world. I told her ‘I love you, and I adore you. Thank you so much for creating a human moment with me.’”
On her boyfriend Cory Monteith
She recently confirmed that she’s dating Cory Monteith, her strapping 6’3’’ costar, better known as Finn Hudson, also her love interest on the show: “I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it’s been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
She talks to her boobs like they have personalities
What gives with the new J.Lo vibe?: “These babies are great” [she jokes, pointing to her breasts]. They are my prizewinners. For a while they were out and about, showing off on Broadway every night, then they came to L.A. and were like, ‘No one else looks like me here!’ They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place. So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.”

Kaiser and I had a very amusing email exchange about this, and she could see joking about talking to one’s boobs. She has a great rack, though, and I’m flat chested. It would never occur to me to give my boobs any kind of personality or voice. They’re shy, and I try to boost them with padding and such, but they’re not separate entities, nor will they ever be. I just spent way too much time looking through photos of Lea Michele on the red carpet. She doesn’t show her boobs all the time, but she’s been bringing them out quite a bit lately. This reminds me that there were rumors that she got a boob job when she was looking particularly busty in May. So maybe that’s why she considers her boobs as separate – they’re new.
Also, wasn’t that hilarious how she claims to have responded to Kate Hudson reaching out to her? She says she told Kate “I love you, and I adore you. Thank you so much for creating a human moment with me.” Who the hell claims to talk like that? Who the hell claims to talk to their boobs? Crazy divas, that’s who.

Song of the Day: 'Tinsel and Lights' by Tracey Thorn

Although the tree is nowhere in sight, this weekend I finally got around to listening to Tracey Thorn's "Tinsel and Lights," the Everything but the Girl singer's new holiday album. Not sure if it's because I was a tad underwhelmed by her last two solo albums -- however unfairly: played "Out of the Woods" again last night and was almost as impressed as I pretended to be when it came out in 2007 -- or if it's just because the stripped down arrangements here are more reminiscent of the EBTG albums that I so cherish, but "Tinsel and Lights" is smile-inducingly good, the best holiday album I've heard since Phil Spector's "Christmas Gift to You." (Having Ben Watt on guitar probably doesn't hurt, either.) That it almost isn't even really a Christmas album definitely gives it a broader appeal -- with the exception of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," the songs are mostly holiday-adjacent, featuring two outstanding originals (including the title track), plus covers of songs by Green Gartside, Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Randy Newman, Ron Sexsmith and The White Stripes. (The Scritti Politti frontman also duets on a cover of Low's "Taking Down the Tree.") -- yet all dozen tracks have an unmistakable winter affect, like the Pretenders' "2000 Miles" and EBTG's "25 December" did so many years ago. Thorn's title track and "Joy," Carol Hall's "Hard Candy Christmas" and Sufjan Stevens' "Sister Winter" are my favorites. With lyrics like "You loved it as a kid/But now you need it more than you ever did...We'll gather up our fears/And face down all the coming years/And all that they destroy/And in their face we throw our joy ...," Thorn looks like this often-depressing time of year directly in the eye and reclaims its joyfulness for the adult in all of us that we never thought we'd become. Merck Foundation Suspends Funding to Boy Scouts of America Over its Anti-Gay Policies

The Merck Foundation has joined Intel and UPS in cutting off funds to the Boy Scouts of America over the group's anti-gay policies, GLAAD reports.
Merck's announcement:

The Merck Foundation believes that it is critical to honor and support a foundational policy of diversity and inclusion in all funding decisions. Recently, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) restated its policy that excludes members on the basis of sexual orientation. The BSA’s policy of exclusion directly conflicts with the Merck Foundation’s giving guidelines. On that basis the Merck Foundation has decided to suspend funding to the BSA. The decision to suspend support applies to direct funding from the Merck Foundation, the matching of gifts from Merck employees, and paid time off for volunteering.

The Foundation has supported the BSA for many years and we continue to herald the fine work that the BSA has done in communities throughout the country. We know that many of you have personally contributed to the BSA and that this decision may be upsetting to some of you. However, we cannot continue to provide support to an organization with a policy that is contrary to one of our core beliefs. We remain ready and willing to re-consider our funding position in the event that the BSA were to revise its policy.

As part of the broader review of funding decisions in 2013, the Foundation is currently assessing all current and future funding commitments to ensure that it is not funding organizations with policies contrary to its own.

We’re confident that this decision is aligned with our high ethical giving standards and strong core beliefs, and reinforces our long-standing commitment to policies that prevent against discrimination.
