Once again, I urge everyone that every vote is important. =)
I have heard too much "I need to scare the government, so I'm voting the opposition"

Good for you if you are pro-opposition and you find them worthy to be your voice. But if the sole reason you are voting for opposition just cause you are anti-PAP, then please, let not emotions skew your opinions. Have a good look at the contenders then judge.

Personally, I am still sitting on my fences and sizing up both camps. *wink*

Love-Hate relationship with iPhone4

I do not have much complains about my iPhone4 till of late when I received this message from iTunes while syncing one day:

"iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings"

This is a real pain in the ass and damn frustrating.
It has tormented me for a whole long week while I scoured the WWW for an answer.

What I had tried to rectify the problem:

Restarting the computer
Resetting the iPhone
Turn off and on the iPhone
Change a different cable
Change to a different port on the computer
Try on a different computer
Reinstalling the latest iTunes
Go all the way right down to Device Manager to uninstall-install Apple driver as I had suspected Comp to be detecting iPhone as a camera instead.
Called Apple (US)
Called mobile provider

I was about to give up and restore my phone to factory settings (and losing along all settings, contacts, smses) when finally, the break came.... iFunBox!
I used it to have "iTunesDB" and "iTunesCDB" deleted. WTH... how did the database file get corrupted in the first place??

Nevertheless, my iphone is now finally recognized and sync-able.

Bathe with my dog

Some people may find it very 恶心, but I find it efficient!

To bathe a dog, you have to first soap it with the dog shampoo, followed by the conditioner, wait for conditioner to be absorbed, rinse away then blow dry.

When I wasn't bathing along with my dog then, I often find myself get wet after the entire 45mins. It's a super time wastage since I will also take my bath after that. The entire process lasts at least an hour.

I'd got pretty impatient with this weekly inefficient process. And so I decided that I will bathe with my dog! Firstly, I'll shampoo my hair and condition it. While waiting for the conditioner to nourish my thick strands, I will start shampooing the dog and condition him after that. While he is unhappily sourcing for an escape route, I'll rinse off my conditioner and soap myself clean. While rinsing my bath soap off, the unhappy dog will get a fair share of water sprays. It ends up that we both get washed up almost at the same point! Muahahahaha... Takes only 20-25 minutes. Plus the blower, it stretches to at most 40 minutes. So much more efficient right!

The Canopy:

Space and the interior design upped points for this particular EC. Though it is seemingly more inconvenient compared to Prive and Austville, we were still drawn to it somehow.

What's important is that the mom loves it. lol

Keeping our fingers cross, it is just one more step away......

Me and wenwu came across a kitten that was knocked down by a car. The car owner had the decency to bring it to the side of the road to avoid it being further crushed by other cars.

Wenwu was so nice to pull his car to the side curb so that I could check on kitty, but it was too late. It must have died instantaneously upon impact. I don't know what got over me that I used my bare hand to touch the carcass. I had to make sure it was dead (Seriously... I thought I heard a weak meow...). Would not be able to let go knowing that I left an injured animal unattended when I took the trouble to check it out in the first place.

Ended up, we called the NEA to retrieve the poor animal's carcass.
Gee... I hope I don't witness such incidents often....

Some people actually find it Funny? And some find it justifiable.
To them: Damn you! Why not I throw you into the river for a change since it is so fun? *wink* You mindless oh so almighty race of an animal.

Yes. We kill for our food and survival but since when has it been justifiable that we kill for fun's sake? It is not about biasness or placing higher regards for certain groups of animals over the rest. If someone throws any animal into the river for fun, it is MURDER get it?

I get really annoyed sometimes when I hear people tell me things like, "you can't", "be realistic".
Yes, of cause I do understand that there are limtations to the things we do, but I don't need people to keep telling me that or pour more cold water. It has this strange effect on the subconscious!

We need dreams to fuel our passion to do things and to pursue the sky.

If this armless guy had told himself that he can't, would he achieve what he did today?
So next time, do not tell others they can't all the time, try some encouragement. Sometimes certain positive enforcement does wonders to our limits.

Start by telling yourselves you can. Most of my many self made uber rich aquaintances never say they can't. The least they would say is "I will get there somehow". That aside of cos, the meaning of rich comes in all aspects like money, mental well being, health and growth. Read the book "Think rich Grow rich" by Napolean Hill?

Even my dog thrives on positive enforcement so why not us? =P
Our mind is our greatest weapon and also our worst enemy.
