The recent wedding fair The Dome, Worthing was very well attended with many visitors looking for photographers for their wedding. Overall, a great start to the year and many thanks to the organisers (Sliver Lined Weddings) who helped promote the fair.

Christmas Family Portrait Shoot

On Christmas Eve, I was asked to capture a family that had come together for Christmas. Some members of the family had flown in from New Zealand and Spain only hour before I arrived. Overall, the family were great to work with and everyone (including Coco the dog) enjoyed themselves. Here are a few images from the day.

If you go down to the woods today - you may be in for a surprise - no its not teddy bears! I was out in the woods around Clovelly today and beside having extremes of weather, there was a surprise waterfall and 'Angel Wings' memorial. What started out as a bight day, soon turned into a typical wintery day with dark overcast skies. The waterfall was a surprise, as with the recent heavy rain, it had now become apparent. I was on a mission to capture some images in the style of infra red film, which I have included a few of my favorites, along with some coastal images. Yes, I did stand in the waterfall to capture that image! The things photographers will do for an image!

A few weeks ago, while I was visiting Cumbria I met up with Petra to do a portfolio shoot. The location was Arnside, a quaint little village overlooking Morecambe Bay. Petra was great to work with and managed to fit the shoot in her busy schedule as a restaurant manager.

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Jorge & Rebecca's wedding at Coltsford Mill, Oxstead. It was a very emotional day for both the families and it was nice to see that everyone was enjoying themselves, and were great to work with. Despite the rain, I still managed to get some outdoor photographs and will post a few images once the couple have seen their image selection after their honeymoon.

My new website has finally gone live! It has taken longer than expected, but it has been worth the effort and many thanks to all those involved in the project in helping to get the site ready for publishing. If you have been given a password for your gallery, you will need to simply enter it into the box on the client gallery page, otherwise go to public events for images from the dog show or other events. If you are running Firefox or similar browser, you may need to click the page refresh button to get the page to load properly.

West Sussex Lurcher Dog Show

I attended the West Sussex Lurcher Dog Show on Sunday 29th May 2011 as their official event photographer. A good mix of racing and show entrants visited the show and I had a steady trickle of customers for our location photo set for families and dogs. A slightly damp and overcast day gave way to brighter afternoon, and despite the strong winds, my stall and photo set managed to survive! Below are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Last Sunday I met up with a lovely couple Sarah and Natalie for their pre-wedding shoot. After a few photos at home, we went down to their local beach, which proved more challenging with the extreme high wind and bright sunlight. My assistant did a grand job of hanging onto the reflector without it blowing away (or herself)! Here are a few of my favourite images.

I was out recently with the Moss family and Jack, their dog, on the South Downs. Jack was great to work with and thanks to my assistant, balls and dog treats, I managed to capture some images of Jack playing and posing (yes, he loved to pose).
