Using Google Translate As Proxy

How to use Google as proxy? Using precisely the Google Translate service. I use the address http://www.google.com/translate_t

After http://www.google.com/translate_t access, enter the URL of the visited website input box into the Translate a Web Page, then select the translation language, language is the language of origin and destination.

Shortcut
For translation of a page, Google has provided a shortcut link bookmarks / favorites when the purpose of accessing a page that will be 'translated' just click on the bookmarks menu. If it is intended to make Google Translate as a proxy, for my case, it is often not successful because the access is done to address that begins translate.google.com. It's edit link on the bookmark and replace with translate.google.com www.google.com.

Another way that you can create a javascript dialog box placed in the bookmarks menu Mozilla Firefox. This menu begins with a Bookmark - Bookmark Manage .. To the list of bookmarks that have been there, click on the section where we will place this bookmark and click the New Bookmark button, the dialog box will appear this :

Insert on Name part, such as Google Proxy or Japan to English.
Fill on Location part in the following code bellow:

Note : You can change the desired language (red letter)

Tick Load this bookmark in the side bar. And then Click OK, To finish.

When you opening the bookmark in the side bar, will be appear like this :

Fill In the website address that will be accessed, it will display a web page that has been 'translated'.
Access the website through the Google Translate service so we can not actually get the look of the website and without the image, because Google only delivers HTML to change the link. Meanwhile, other resources such as CSS and image access is done directly to the origin of the webserver is not accessible to direct.

What's the purpose for Google as a proxy? We often use office/school/university connections, usually those services are set to provide more safety, blocking the access to undesidered web sites (the "black list"). What you can do now is use Google translator service (language tools) as a proxy to bypass the restrictions set for our connection!
You just need to type the following URL:

http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=www.forbiddensite.com
(www.forbiddensite.com : stands for the URL you need to go to...)

What you'll get is the translation (english to english!) of the page you want to see... your connection is directed to a google.com page so this page won't be blocked (would be blocked only with google.com on the black list), no matter what's the content.
Notice that the URL has been a little hacked because the parameter "langpair" (This parameter has a couple of languages: the first is the original one, the second is the one you want to translate in) is set to "en|en" (english/english) so the page is processed by Google but you can keep the original language of the page (no need to translate!). If you need another language (e.g. japan) you just need to set the parameter langpair to "ja|ja" and you'll be able to read japan pages in japan!

An important thing to remember as you develop your blog is to build an identity that distinguishes you and your site from the rest of the blogosphere. One tool that can help to accomplish this is the use of Gravatars.

Gravatar is the abbreviation of the phrase “Globally Recognized Avatar.” In short, it is a small image, normally a head shot, of the author or commenter. The Gravatar you chose will be tied to your email address; therefore any enabled site will automatically feature your image next to your comment.

The sense of sight is relied on more so than any other. In a text dominated world, it is difficult to quickly establish an identity with readers in the short time most people will spend on any page of your blog. Think of a newspaper in the editorial column where popular columnists will feature a small photo of themselves next to their articles. This allows the readers to quickly put a face on the writer.

Choose your Gravatar carefully. Don’t pick just any picture. Make use of an image that lends itself to your blog’s identity.
Another reoccurring piece of advice you will commonly receive at ProBlogger is to frequently comment on other blogs. Most sites require you to enter your email and URL to comment. The Gravatar you chose will be tied to your email address, so any enabled site will recognize you and hence your Gravatar image will automatically appear next to your comment. Again, the Gravatar will help to identify you as a face with a personality (and more importantly a blog) of your own. As you make your way throughout the internet, the chances that your Gravatar becomes noticed increases with each comment.
Also, by placing the same picture on your profile at various social media outlets you will increase its visibility and effectiveness. Be sure to use the same profile image for Mixx, Stumble Upon, Reddit, Facebook, and any other social networking tool you employ. So what is a blog? According to Wikipedia (a great source of constantly updated info), "A weblog, web log or simply a blog, is a web application which contains periodic time-stamped posts on a common web page. Weblog is a portmanteau of 'web' and 'log.' The term blog came into common use as a way of avoiding confusion with the term server log."

Redesigning Blog Templates

I just stumbled across a useful page for those wanting to give their blog a bit of a design overhaul - it’s a blog tutorial on Blog Templates using Photoshop. In it they talk about how to design header banners/logos, give photos borders, make button etc. They also give a lot of useful links to help in the process.
That color scheme thing is the best thing on that page for me. I use Visibone a lot, but this one is great! A little Photoshop does go a long way, especially if you’re good with masks. I’m pretty happy with the way my blog design turned out.
