God means different things to different people, and we are in a world where, when you call on God, people want to know where you are coming from. But we cannot forget the truth - that there is a God! Most certainly, what we have seen, heard and experienced, shows there is a God! Also, most importantly - the Bible tells us that.

Who God is to you will help you tap from the unlimited supply of God. When you come to know God for yourself, it will help you weather the storms of life. Many people can always try to define who God is, but i want you to know that what you know for yourself will last forever, and will help you in every situation!

David said God is his shepherd. How about you? who is God to you? He is my truth, my helper, my Lord, my Father....He is more than enough to me....He is everything to me....

When God speak, he means it; And today he is still speaking and doing new things in our lives.The reason why he is doing a new thing is because many times we get stuck in the same story and situations,striving in the same old spots, and sometimes we become used to the same old story.God is doing a new thing that will take you from the same old story, to telling new great stories all your life!

Again, I saw that under the sun, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise ,nor riches to the intelligent,nor favour to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes ch 9:11.ESV.

The strongest people sometimes do not always win the war; the smartest people do not always win the competition! Life sometimes does not go the way we always want it. The ones who work harder sometimes do not always get the best out of what he wants.

It's time and chance that determines all. God is the owner of time and He is the one creates chances and opportunities for us.

I see God bringing you to your right man or woman; He will put you in the place where they are deciding your promotion at work, and he will cause you to come across the right people you need to help you in life.

Many times, we are afraid of so many things that we cannot control, because whatever we can control we will not be afraid of.

We are afraid of the future, afraid of death, afraid of failure. Many times its what you are afraid of that come to you.

Beloved,I have good news for you! God, who made you and knows all about you said, " don't be afraid". Because you are his own, he is making all things possible for you to have a great end. He is working in your favour and for your good. He's wants it all in his control - your life, children, job, finances, health, relationships, friends, family.

The consequences of the condemnation abounds. Thank God for the law, since because of what Jesus has done for us, we have been free from all condemnations caused by the law. I want you to know that because you belong to Jesus, you should never condem yourself, neither allow what people say about you to get you down. Season of Honor

We live in a world of qualifications and certifications. You are either qualified for something, or you are certified for it. But there is something called honor. It is when a person is accorded positions or respect that they ordinarily do not qualify for, nor do they have certification for, but which people feel they deserve.
Thus you hear about honorary doctors, citizens, etc. Honor is a lifter. when a person is honored, they necessarily may not even have formal education, but then, they will be treated even better than those who have.
Honor comes from God to those he desires to lift.
It's your turn to be honored.
This is your season of honor. Receive it with joy. You may not be qualified for it, but you deserve it.

When was the last time you really laughed yourself to tears? Laughter helps us to unload the burdens of the soul. Laughter eases pain, kills bitterness, overcomes anger, destroys resentment, prevents hypertension and most blood related cases. Laughter is an outward expression of inward joy and happiness. Laughter is the product of genuine excitement. You cannot laugh and hate at the same time. you cannot laugh and be bitter, you cannot even laugh and be sick. Laughter has healing properties. it eases pains, and releases positive emotions to take charge of your body mechanism.
Laugh at your silly mistakes which we all have. Laugh at the funny things you did childhood. Laugh at the jokes you 've heard or read about. Laugh when someone or something is funny. Laugh in a funny way. Laugh with your friends, it will draw them closer to you. Laughter throws down the iron wall that stands between two strangers. Laughter is contagious, it binds people together and boosts energy levels of those involved.
Laughter releases endorphin, which causes your whole body to feel good. Laughter is fun. Laughter boosts your immune system, relaxes your body, and protects your heart.
Guard your heart! Practice humor!! laugh a lot!!! It will change your world, it will change the way you look.
Thats what happens when we laugh.

Remember and be remembered

It's amazing how much attention we pay to memorial services, and how much energy and money we spend to remember the dead, while we forget the living and their deeds of love and kindness. We go through all kinds of troubles to remember the dead, and there is nothing wrong with this, but we rarely remembered to thank them, love them, or even recognize them while they were alive.
I believe that lying deep in the heart of everyman is the need for recognition. The need to be loved, and remembered while they are alive. When we do that, it will inspire people to do more, and live more.
When was the last time you remembered someone who has done you some good in the past, to send them a note, a mail, or even give them a call? can you imagine what difference that will make in the life of that person? Just imagine someone calling you from the blues and reminding you of something nice you did to them a long time ago. You may even have forgotten, but then, they remind you and thank you for it. Imagine the feeling of love and appreciation that you will feel, knowing that they didn't have to do that.
It's great to remember the good deeds of the dead, but even greater to remeember the good deeds of the living.
Remember someone today for their good, and you too will be remembered.
Enjoy the rest of the month of July for it your month of rest!

Discipline

An indisciplined life is not worth living. Discipline is the ability to constrain oneself to adhere to certain rules, in order to achieve a set goal.
Life always makes room for discipline. if you don't discipline yourself, you will be disciplined by nature, situation, or circumstances. Sometimes even by organizations or other people.
You can either pay now and play latter, or play now and pay latter, which ever way, payment is inevitable in life. Those who refuse to discipline themselves when they where young end up being disciplined by circumstances of life when they get older. In life, there are many examinations to pass, if you keep postponing them, you will keep carrying over that particular course.
Indiscipline breaks marriages, foils good plans, destroys friendships and relationships, kills the best of intentions, and can sometimes result in premature death.
A little discipline today, can save your tomorrow.
Examine yourself and see if you are disciplined.

UNDERSTAND ME

I think one of the greatest needs of man is the need to be understood. many times, we lack the words to express what we truly mean to say. Sometimes, we end up using the wrong choice of words, the wrong facial expressions, or the wrong body language, and we end up being judged wrongly.
Lying deep in every one of us is a strong desire, a need to be understood. we wish that our spouses, children, siblings, friends, and even enemies will understand that our intentions are different from our actions. 'Man judges from outward appearance, but God sees the heart', and because man is the one that we have to deal with daily, our outward appearances (which for the most are inadequate expressions of our inward impressions) form the basis of people's perception of us.
As you read this blog today, i pray that you will be understood more by the people around you, and i pray also that you will seek to understand the people around you before you take any action.

Gratitude is the attitude that changes your altitude. A thankful heart opens doors for more blessings. Man in recent times seems to has forgotten the place of thanksgiving in the scheme of live.
We murmur, complain, grind our teeth and squeeze our faces when things don't seem to our way. but as soon as things start working the way we had imagined they would, we forget to be grateful, and just carry on as if nothing happened.
But gratitude can make the difference. Gratitude to all men for the roles they play in our lives. gratitude to God for his love towards us, gratitude to our friends for always being there for us,gratitude to our enemies for always keeping us on guard.
Gratitude will expand your latitude and increase your altitude.
Be thankful. it helps.

Be encouraged

Discouragement is every leader's nightmare. Discouragement is no respecter of age, title, or color. It happens to the rich, the poor, the healthy, and the sick. Discouragement has no regard for kings or nobles. it is not mindful of one's academic qualification, or geographical location.
But mighty as discouragement may seem, it is overpowered by a simple word. a kind word, an uplifting word. it is called encouragement. Say something nice to yourself today and always. say something nice to someone, it is the panacea to discouragement.
When discouragement points you to sunset, remind yourself of sunrise. when it tells you that there is nothing to live for, remind it that you did not send yourself to the earth, and therefore the one who sent you here still has something in store for you. He is not through with you yet.
when you are afraid and discouraged, remind yourself that you were once a little child who couldn't care for itself, and yet God took care of you, He will continue to take care of you now and always, because you belong to him.
Be encouraged.

Seed time

As long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest, summer and winter, day and night will never cease. This is an ancient saying found in the book of genesis. Yet ancient as it may be, it is an eternal principle that whenever there is a sowing, harvest is gauranteed. It doesn't matter what you sow, harvest is sure. Good seeds produce a good harvest, and bad seeds produce bad harvest.
Be careful what you sow, in words, or deeds, for they all will grow sooner or later. Sow kindness and you will receive kindness. Speak kind words to people and you will receive kind words from people. Show love and you will be shown love. Give and it will be given to to you. Call people and they will call you. Visit and you will be visited, be friendly to others and you will never lack friends. Be generous, be nice, It's a seed.
Thing is, it may not necessarily come from the ones you gave to, but it will surely come. Take time to consider what you are doing to someone, or for someone today. Be sure that you will surely reap a harvest.
Let's use the few years that we have on this earth to love, to live, and to leave a legacy. Live is too short to waste it sowing bad seeds. Let's sow good seeds, and even after we are long gone. Generations after us will be glad we did.
Live your best life now.

New Season

The tree is an interesting object to look at when dealing with seasons. The tree does not move nor change locations with changing seasons. No matter what season comes on it, the tree comes up with a way of coping with it.
During fall, it may lose all it's leaves, it's color, beauty and glory, but that doesn't kill the tree. It still stands there , confident of this one thing; that no matter how harsh the fall and winter may have been, spring is coming. And with spring comes everything it had lost in the last season. Its leaves will become more colorful, it's bark more beautiful, it's trunk more refreshed, and its roots watered by the rains.
Talking about you right now, I don't know what things you may have lost in the weeks, months, and years gone by, I want you to know that spring is coming. A new season that will be for you a season of recovery, of color, and restoration. Like the tree, don't give up! Be bold, be confident. Nothing can stop your new season, just as nothing can stop day or night.
This is your season of total recovery.
