Salman comes to the rescue of Katrina Kaif

Seems like no matter what ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are inseparable. They have broken up and all but whenever Kat needs help she always turns to Sallu first.

Case in point: When on her recent visit to London the actress had trouble reaching her hotel before the premiere of her film, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, predictably her ex beau cum best friend saved her day.

Troubles galore
Problems started for Katrina after she landed in London from Abu Dhabi where she had to attend a promotional event first.

The half hour drive extended to one-and-half hours and she had still no idea how far she was from the hotel. Our source explains, "The driver of the car organised for her by Yash Raj Films turned out to be a novice who didn't know the roads well enough.

After being driven around for an hour and a half, Katrina got so irritated that she called for a taxi service. And while waiting for the other cab to arrive, she also called Salman to apprise him of her situation." The actor was shooting for Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger at that time.

Soon after the other taxi arrived, Katrina hauled her luggage and headed straight to a hotel in South Kensington, where Salman was staying, reveals our source. She requested Salman to organise a car for her with a chauffeur who knew the roads well.

It is learnt that when she reached her hotel later, the representatives of YRF were profusely apologetic for the inconvenience caused to her. "But Katrina had had enough and she was so upset that she didn't want to use any transport being arranged by YRF for her to get to the premiere venue," says our source.

Unfortunately for Kat, her troubles didn't end there. It seems the team of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan reached over an hour late for the premiere. And also, the premiere didn't go as well as they expected.

"Maybe it wasn't promoted very well, so naturally the movie's team was surprised that the crowd wasn't as huge as they had anticipated.

Since they had reached late, they couldn't spend much time at the venue either because they had to catch a flight to Mumbai," informs our source.

Now Imran comes handy
However, by the time she reached the airport, the check-in counters for her return flight had closed.

"Obviously, she wasn't too pleased with the way her day was going.," said our source, adding that fortunately for her, help came in the form of her co-actor Imran Khan.

"Although he was returning by another airline, Imran helped Katrina secure a reservation on Oman Air, with a stop-over at Muscat."

It was earlier resported how it took Katrina 16 hours to reach Mumbai while her co-actors reached in under 10 hours (Hitlist, September 13)

But at the end of it all, it's proof enough that whether in India or abroad, whenever she's in trouble, the first person Katrina calls is Salman, to bail her out.

'Ek Tha Tiger': Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif Woo Students In Dublin

Former flames and presently "good friends" Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were recently spotted at the Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, where they had gone to shoot for the Kabir Khan-helmed spy thriller Ek Tha Tiger. Katrina Kaif, who plays the role of a dance student, took the opportunity to interact with the students at the college (tips on how to behave like a student, perhaps?).

Salman Khan, who recently underwent a surgery in the US for a facial nerve ailment had started shooting for the flick in Dublin from Monday whereas the lissome Katrina Kaif joined the sets a day later.

Salman Khan and Katrina will be paired opposite each other after a period of three years after Yuvvraaj in 2008. Though the film had bombed at the box office, the former flames kept appearing as cameos in each other's films.

Incidentally, this is Salman Khan's first film with Yash Raj Films where he plays a secret agent code-named 'Tiger', who is sent on a mission to investigate a Trinity College professor suspected of anti-national activities, but ends up falling in love with the professor's daughter, played by Katrina Kaif.

Bollywood: Salman Khan goes House Hunting (Video News)

Salman Khan is back on location shooting for his next film, Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina Kaif. In between film schedules, the star plans to take out some time and do some serious property hunting.

Salman has lived in Bandra, Mumbai his entire life, and currently lives in a block of apartments which he has named, Galaxy Apartments.Alongside the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan his house is also a well known tourist attraction amongst his fans. Though Salman isn_t thinking of moving out of his apartment, news has it that the actor is definitely looking at real estate as an investment option. _He has been thinking of getting a new place for a while and is now seriously considering investing in some real property._ meanwhile there were reports of his brother Sohail Khan buying out nightclubs in Mumbai, and now Salman Khan is thinking of investing in some more property around the posh areas of Bandra, Mumbai.Certainly sounds like the Khan Brothers are looking on making some serious returns in the next year or so!...

Ragini Nandwani: Startstruck

Ragini Nandwani who plays Lovely in a popular soap is a die hard Salman Khan fan and would do anything to meet the star. The day she found out that Salman is coming on the sets of a show to promote his upcoming release, she was thrilled and coaxed the channel authorities to make her a part of the episode.

Ragini's joy knew no bounds when she found out that the character of Salman in the upcoming film is Lovely Singh and rushed to the producers with this piece of info and convinced them as to why she should be made a part of the show.

On the D Day, the usually chirpy actress arrived on the sets butterflies in her stomach. She ensured her make-up was in place and she was dressed appropriately for the occasion.

However, everything went for a toss the moment Ragini caught a glimpse of Salman in flesh and blood. She forgot all her lines, started sweating profusely and fumbled a few times till Salman said, "I have seen you on TV." "After hearing this from the man himself, I thought I will probably faint," said an embarrassed Ragini. All I could do was muster enough courage and say, "I am the fifth bahu in a popular soap and need some tips to impress my mother-in-law," she said. Judging her predicament Salman delivered the dialogue of the day, "Tension mat lo, waqt ke saath Sasu Maa pat jayegi aur agar nai pati toh nipat jayegi."

Once Ragini was out of the sets, all she wanted was a wall to bang her head against. She said, "I could not believe I forgot all my well rehearsed lines. It was like falling in love and going blank at the moment of confession to the boy or girl!"

Salman Khan postpones his US trip by a day

Actor Salman Khan, who was supposed to leave for the US Saturday for treatment of a medical condition causing acute pain in his head, cheeks and jaws, postponed his trip to Sunday for an undisclosed reason.

Denying a media report that he has postponed it due to Hurricane Irene that has hit the US East Coast, his manager said that it had nothing to do with the hurricane. "He was supposed to leave last night he is leaving tonight (Sunday). He has nothing to do with the hurricane and he just postponed it for a day " Salman's manager told.

In medical parlance, Salman is suffering from germinal neuralgia and aneurysm for which he's going to the US. Salman had disclosed to media that the he had the first attack of pain in the left side of his face during the making of his film " Partner" (2007) and the pain came back while he was shooting for "Veer" (2010). He is continuously suffering from this pain since last year.

'Bodyguard is a good festival bet'

Taran Adarsh
"There's a strong buzz around Bodyguard obviously because Salman Khan and Eid are an unbeatable combination. Also, with the film releasing on Wednesday (August 31), it is a five-day weekend and I estimate collections to fall in the Rs 80 crore range. Bodyguard seems to have elements of a typical mainstream Bollywood entertainer and is a good festival bet."

Vajir Singh

"Salman is at an interesting phase in his career. So is Kareena Kapoor. To watch this combination is going to be a treat. While Salman is the current box office favourite, Kareena should be credited for being a perfect foil to him in a film that rides high on emotions. She's the one with the five Khans currently and I feel she also lends weightage to Bodyguard."

'Nobody has a body like Salman Khan'

More Pics

The action sequences in Wanted and Dabangg certainly added a lot to Salman Khan's powerful performances and were instrumental in making the characters he played more likeable.

Hence, for Bodyguard, the actor insisted on roping in action director Vijayan Master, his current favourite. "We are on the same wavelength, we know exactly what is expected from each other," says the action director from the South.

"It was very tough because in Bodyguard on one hand we had to show Salman as the action hero and on the other hand, I couldn't have disturbed the love story or the film's humorous elements. We couldn't have separated the three. It was like walking a tightrope. Salman has that magical quality about him. His expressions convey all he needs to. He'd give a certain look and I would know what shot he is about to do," says Vijayan, who has done 480 films so far.

'I can't run, I can't jump, I can't chase,' at times a tired and weary Salman would tell Vijayan Master, "But he ended up doing all the stunts himself with remarkable ease. He would enjoy doing even the most risky shots," says the action director. "Sometimes, Salman would request me to give him a five-day break and he would practise jumping, running during the period and come back totally prepared. He knows exactly what works for him. He is a gym freak and knows the kind of food he has to eat that would keep him fit. Nobody has got a body like his."

Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt fight over ..?

Reports suggest Salman was planning to back out of celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss 'since he didn't want to co-host the show with Sanjay.

Meanwhile, Reshma, who didn't want the reigning superstar to leave the show, decided to act as peacemaker between them.

Incidentally, the lady got Sanjay the Bigg Boss deal after Salman coaxed her for it. And now, Reshma is in no mood to lose the deal that she smoothly played as a mediator for them to co-host.

Katrina not in Bodyguard item song: Bebo

Bollywood’s latest rivalry tale involves Kareena Kapoor. The actor is making news for being ‘miffed’ with Katrina Kaif, who apparently hogs the limelight with her item number in the upcoming film Bodyguard. It was reported that an upset Kareena, who is the leading lady of the film, even demanded

A number for herself. But Kareena isn’t pleased one bit.

“It’s really terrible. People who know me are aware that I am not insecure. I’m not that person. And besides, Katrina’s song is just a rumor. She hasn’t done any song. There’s a 20 second-long shot in which she makes an appearance. I think it’s just a publicity tactic,” she says.

Interestingly, all this comes soon after Kareena apparently bonded with Katrina at the grand finale of a fashion week a few days ago. “Why should there be a problem?” she asks. “Both of us do our own films. I’m busy doing mine while she has her share of work. Also, I am here to do my job. She is a lovely girl and we have always been friendly. Such talk is really strange.”

For now, Kareena is concentrating on the anticipated Eid release, Bodyguard, starring Salman Khan.

“My role is very strong. The girl is the soul of the film. If you take Divya (her character) out of the equation, there’s no movie,” she says, adding that the film is also special to her because of Baby’s (Alvira; Salman’s sister) involvement as co-producer. “As a nine or 10-year-old kid, I was Baby’s helper because she was director Suresh Krissna’s assistant on a film called Jaagruti (1993) starring Salman and Karisma. I would pick up her stuff on the sets; so we are very close.”

Meanwhile, Kareena has also achieved a rare feat — the actor is working with all five Khans in Bollywood (Shah Rukh Khan in RA.One, Aamir Khan in The Act Of Murder, Saif Ali Khan in Agent Vinod, Imran Khan in Stand By Me and Salman in Bodyguard).

“I feel it’s quite historic. I’ll be the first to do it. Others can follow in my footsteps whenever it happens for them. It has happened because I am very friendly with all of them. And I am not part of any camp in the industry,” she smiles.

Shreya Saran denies doing 'Munni'

Shreya Saran seems to have become a darling of gossipmongers. Be it on her starry airs at an audio launch function or recent rumour on her link up with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, she continues to be in the news, which the actress herself is not aware of. The latest rumour on the 28-year-old is that she will be doing the Tamil version of 'Munni badnaam...' in Silambarasan's Osthi. However, she has denied those reports as well!

The actress says that through media she came to know about the item number. Silambarasan has not approached her for the special number in upcoming Tamil movie Osthi and there is not truth in it, claims Shreya Saran. There were reports that Shreya Saran was offered to do a similar item number like Mallaika Arora Khan's 'Munni Badnaam Hui...' in Dabangg. It may be recalled that prior to Shreya, it was speculated that Simbu had approached Nayantara for the same. But the actor had refused those reports.

However, the 26-year-old is gearing up for her next Tamil release Rowthiram. Shreya Saran has pinned high hopes on the upcoming film and believes that the movie will become a landmark film in her career. She has paired Jeeva in the movie, which is hitting the screens this Friday.

Salman congratulates Aishwarya and Abhishek

His wish for the Bachchan family revealed

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's former boyfriend Salman Khan has congratulated her and her hubby Abhishek Bachchan on expecting their first child.

"I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather and also Abhishek and Aishwarya. I hope they make a whole football team," Salman told reporters in Mumbai at an event to launch a BlackBerry application.

Aishwarya began dating Salman in 1999, during which time they also worked together in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam'. Theirs was a volatile relationship that ended in 2001.

Aishwarya married Abhishek on April 20, 2007.

Nayantra to Romance Salman Khan

Nayantara had always maintained that she is not interested in making a Bollywood debut.

The actress, who has made a mark in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu film industries, is happy with the way her career is going in the South Indian film industry and didn't ever show any interest in jumping on the Bollywood bandwagon.

However, it seems times have changed. With what we hear, Nayan will very soon be seen in a sequel to a Bollywood blockbuster. Buzz is that Salman Khan, who rocked the box office with the Hindi remake of Pokkiri, is high on making a sequel to the film.

The plans of Wanted 2 were already announced by Salman and director Prabhu Deva after the first installment became a huge success. However, Prabhu got busy with his assignments down South, while Salman had Dabangg, Ready and Bodyguard.

But now, Salman is keen on kick-starting Wanted 2 once his ongoing projects end. Most interesting part is that Prabhu Deva is mulling over introducing his lady love in Bollywood with the sequel.

The news comes as a surprise as there have been reports about Nayan planning to quit acting post her marriage to Prabhu. However, as per the latest buzz it seems Nayan's all set to join her contemporaries like Trisha, Asin, Ileana and Kajal who have worked or signed Hindi films.

Is Kangana out of Salman's friend list..?

Kangna's dreams of starring with Salman in his home production, what was to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, have been dashed, at least for the time being. It also points to a larger fallout between the two, said to be close to each other in the recent past.

But not only was Kangna not invited for Sallu's welltouted 'Being Human' show last Saturday, but the superstar has put his home production with her in the female lead on hold indefinitely. The film is a Hindi remake of Manjrekar's Marathi film Mee Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy.

The only consolation for Ranaut is that she remains a part of the film, at least for now. "The script is undergoing some changes. Moreover, a few other members of the cast have also been changed. Salman himself is supervising the details," says the source.

A n o t h e r reason why Manjrekar's film co-starring Ranaut is not Salman's first priority at present is that Salman is going to be very busy with the TV show Bigg Boss 4 and two films, Kick and Bodyguard. "Both Kick and Bodyguard are very big films and Salman is not going to let his fans down," said the source.

What makes this doubly awkward for Kangna is the buzz that Sonakshi Sinha might replace her in this film.

When contacted, Manjrekar did not confirm that Ranaut stars in his film for Salman. He simply said, "At the moment, I am not in Mumbai. Dekhte hain kab shuru karenge meri film. Why can't it be that Kangna stars in the film? It's not Sonakshi, but then, at the end of the day, it is up to Salman to decide and divulge."

We know for a fact that Kangna has not even been informed of this delay. But our source was quite clear that Sallu's next with her in on the backburner. A close friend of Kangna's said, "She really does not wish to comment on any of this."

Salman plays godfather to new music director Sumit Dutt..

Salman Khan has this penchant of eyeing talent and then giving the person a break. The latest on the star's list of favourites is visuals expert Sumit Dutt. Ever since he directed Sallu in Dhinka Chicka and Character Dheela tracks in Ready, the star has been insisting that Sumit direct the songs in his movies. Sallu took him on board for his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's earlier film Hello. Sumit directed the title track of the movie. Now for Agnihotri's next Bodyguard, Sumit has directed the Desi Beats song.
Visual treat
"Today, songs unveil the films and are no more just a relief provider in the story," says Sumit. "With digital media getting stronger each day, people want to see songs which are visually rich, entertaining and most importantly, to which they can connect."
Sumit, who studied at the New York Film School, feels he understands the pulse of the audience. From being an ad film director he has now made a smooth transition into films. A source reveals that, "Salman is fond of Sumit and feels at ease working with him, he has full confidence in him and knows for sure the song will be successful. Salman is making sure he directs all the songs for his movies, and is also recommending his name to filmmakers. The star is also advising him as he considers him as family."

Salman Khan to slow down professionally

Salman Khan would pair up with Kareena in Bodyguard....

Speculation about Salman Khan's health has been rife and now the actor's brother Sohail Khan has confirmed that a nerve has been troubling him for a couple of months now and would take it easy professionally for a while.

"It's just a nerve that has been troubling him for a couple of

months now. He got some tests done to get it diagnosed. That's it. Nothing more. Now that the problem has been identified, he has been taking medical advice. We're in the process of finding out the best way to treat the problem. Insha Allah, all should be fine," Mid Day quotes Sohail.

Salman Khan, meanwhile would work on only one film at a time.

Sources suggest that Salman Khan was not comfortable shooting for Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger simultaneously. He would do Dabangg 2 and Sher Khan one by one.

Also, Salman would start Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick only at the beginning of next year. For now, he would focus on Ek Tha Tiger.

"My movie Sher Khan will now start early next year after Yashraj. Now he'll do one film at a time," Sohail adds.

Considering the actor's dream run at BO, his fans wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for their demigod to light up the screen!

Shahrukh, Salman come together for Preity

Both Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan share a great personal and professional rapport with bubbly Preity Zinta. As we all know that Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan don't see eye to eye with each other in any situation have now ready to come together for Preity Zinta's show. Salman Khan will appaear in Preity Zinta’s new chat show, ‘Up, Close and Personal with Preity Zinta’ on a new channel to be produced by Shahrukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.

So now the question stands does Preity engineered the patch-up between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. When asked about their patch-up, the actress said, "Please...somebody help me escape this question!" She added, "Each one of us has his or her own equation in the industry. This is really beyond me...or anybody else. Let's wait and watch."

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan will both appear on Preity’s show but at different episodes.

Katrina Kaif broke up with Salman ..?

Celebrities know very well that rumourmongers never keep their eyes off them but intentionally or unintentionally, they let loose the knot. Bollywood couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have sparked the speculations that they have split. At least if their chemistry at the recent success party of the film Kanjeevaran is any indication.
It is said that the lovebirds behaved like strangers at the party. Salman came in without his ladylove and posed for the cameras. Strangely, Katrina came in with designer Rocky S. Adding more fuel to the fire, the couple didn't interact with each other during the entire party. They were so near yet so far at the party.

However, it was reported that Katrina attended Salman's Eid party and wished him on the special occasion. But why did they act like strangers at Kanjeevaran success party? Why Katrina came in Rocky's car and not Salman's?

Only Salman and Katrina can answer this!

Salman Khan stays away from Dabangg 2

Actor Salman Khan has reason enough to smile. His last film 'Ready' was a hit, and his 'Bodyguard' is being eagerly awaited. Anyway, the busy Salman Khan popularly hailed as Chulbul - his character name in the blockbuster 'Dabangg' - is keeping himself away from Dabangg 2, we hear!

The reason is clear. Right now, the actor is so busy shooting for other films that he is leaving the scripting and brainstorming of 'Dabangg 2' to Arbaaz Khan and his team. We are told that Dabangg 2 is still in its scripting stages and the physical presence of Salman is unwarranted. "Whenever there's an idea, it's always best to pick up the phone and talk to bhai," we are told, "He is shooting and not always in the city."

Of course, Dabanng and its sequel is very close to Salman's heart, so much so that there were talks that the actor himself was scripting Dabangg 2. However Salman clarified that he isn't writing the script of the sequel and will only act in it! Taking part in brainstorming sessions and giving ideas and suggestions will happen as the film progresses and is but natural between an actor and director, but Salman isn't sitting down and writing Dabangg 2 at all!

Will Salman Khan play Lady Gaga's bodyguard?

It has already been reported that American singer Lady Gaga is visiting India in October. Latest buzz is that Bollywood actor Salman Khan is likely to be her bodyguard and even host a party for the Bad Romance star. Salman's niece Alizeh, who is the younger daughter of his sister Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, is a big fan of the popstar and has requested her uncle to host a party for her.

Salman Khan is known to do anything for his family’s happiness. Now, everyone in his family is pretty convinced that he will make it happen when 14-year-old Alizeh requested him. Talking about Alizeh's wish, her father Atul told PTI, "My daughter is a huge fan and she is really hoping to meet Lady Gaga. And that is why she is pushing all these possible ideas..."

However, it should be recalled here that Salman Khan has arranged for a few meetings with international stars for his family in the past. Salman’s sister Arpita wished to meet Michael Jackson when he came to Mumbai and he arranged for it. He had even invited Will Smith to his Bandra home. Now, Alizeh’s wish may also come true.

Salman Khan to promote eco friendly Ganesh

Actor Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, belongs to a generation of writers who staunchly believed in the twin ideals of secularism and socialism. Saahir Ludhiyaanvi, Kaifi Azmi, Mazrooh Sultanpuri, Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan can claim to be a part of a group of writers and lyricists who attempted to give a leftward turn to our society’s social credentials. No wonders then that Salim Khan’s son, Salman, strictly follows the ideal of secularism.

It’s a tradition in Salman’s house to bring home a Ganesh idol during the yearly ganapati festival. However, the actor makes sure that the idol is eco friendly and does not cause any harm to the environment when the festival ends. And this year, Salman has also decided to promote the environmental cause through the Being Human clothing line. T-shirts bearing the logo of ‘Being Human’ have become highly popular among youngsters and Salman believes that the popularity of the merchandise can be utilised to persuade people to go green this year.

Apart from that, he also plans to promote the environmental cause every time he addresses public during the promotional drive for his latest flick, ‘Bodyguard’.

Salman not hospitalised: Spokesperson

The grapevine was abuzz Thursday night with rumours that the 45-year-old had been admitted to Saifee Hospital here.

“This is completely false news. He (Salman) has not been admitted to the hospital,” an associate of the star told IANS.

"I was with him till about 10.30 at night, and he was completely fine. He was hale and hearty, and was busy promoting the film by doing some interviews. He was in a very good mood," added a source from the unit of his forthcoming release Bodyguard.

Representatives from Saifee Hospital too denied the news.

Bodyguard, starring Salman and Kareena Kapoor, will release on August 31.

I am not writing 'Dabangg 2': Salman Khan

Lots of speculation going on when it comes to Salman Khan's subsequent movies, after 'Bodyguard'. Since the actor doesn't interact with media persons, except while promoting his movies during the time of release, the media keeps coming up with stories pertaining to the new films he has signed. But the truth is something else.

Once Salman is through with the promotions of 'Bodyguard', the actor will embark on the shoot of Yash Raj's 'Ek Tha Tiger', which will be followed by 'Sher Khan'(Sohail Khan), 'Dabangg 2' (Arbaaz Khan) and 'Kick' (Sajid Nadiadwala - Shirish Kunder). These are the only films that Salman has green-lit, as of now.

Meanwhile, there's talk that Salman is writing the screenplay of 'Dabangg 2'. But, again, the truth is something else. “Arbaaz has penned it himself and it's a mind-blowing script,” said Salman.

Salman Khan to host show on History channel

Whoever said that History was boring are soon going to be eating their words as none other than Salman Khan will soon be seen as the host on the popular channel History.

Salman will be seen in a whole new avatar on a show with a new wardrobe, styled by his sister Alvira Agnihotri and designer Ashley Rebello. The channel has signed him on as his popularity cuts across all ages and gender.
The content of the show remains unknown but it'll be dealing with factual entertainment.

Is Salman Khan's playback in BODYGUARD revisit of READY song?

Dhinka Chika of READY returns in a new packaged version in BODYGUARD as the title song which has been sung by Salman Khan himself. Salman Khan seems to be inspired from the cult status that Dhinka Chika achieved in READY, and seems to be trying to address his fans by harking back to the famous jives from READY. After all, it is Pritam again who is giving the music, and also included in the team of music composition is Salman Khan's one time protege, to a turn coat and now coming back to Salman Khan's fold again, Himesh Reshammiya.

It seems that Salman Khan has forgiven Himesh for the betrayal that Himesh Reshammiya had done against Salman Khan. One is reminded of one of the shows of Antakshari where Salman Khan and Himesh Reshamiya had appeared side by side and Salman Khan had not left an opportunity to pull the legs of Himesh Reshammiya.

May be, as BODYGUARD shooting started alongside release of READY Salman Khan may have tried to encash upon the popularity of Dhinka Chika. But it has probably happened for the first time that one is inspired from the music of a film which has been released few months ago. May be, Salman Khan could have the belief that he has a process patent over the song, and therefore it has been included by him in BODYGUARD as well!

Whatever is the case, Salman Khan has again underlined the premise that his films should have songs that should capture the imagination of the nation, and it indeed is an integral part of his acting life, highlight of his acting career so to say. It caught on as a trend after MAINE PYAAR KIYA and continues to prosper with BODYGUARD as well. Salman Khan is one of the rare few stars whose film like KHAMOSHI crashed at box office but its songs still are one of the most successful songs.

BODYGUARD would have the unique distinction of being the first film where Salman Khan has given music direction, the song being Teri Meri Prem Kahani, which would appear along with credit in the end. It needs to be emphasized however that in his maiden endeavor Salman Khan got ample help from his protege Himesh Reshammiya, and one only hopes that the song would glue the audience to the seat to watch it in full, after all, in the song Kareena is appearing in orange sari. Sounds familiar! 3 IDIOTS, and an inspiration from a successful film perhaps.

Salman loves his dear Fans the most :-)

Salman Khan is one actor who surely knows how to win hearts, specially that of a kid.

Apparently, the Dabangg star, while shooting for Bodyguard had a young kid waiting for him for eight long hours with a special request.

The kid's innocent wish was that Salman should act like his bodyguard while he takes him on a bike ride, wherein the bike was actually a toy bike that runs on battery.

The kid waited for hours and ultimately managed to meet the star and expressed his wish.

Close sources from the sets revealed that the little kid learned that Salman was shooting for a film in the vicinity and thus came on his bike along with his parents to meet his favourite actor. This was not all, the child who hopped around the sets just wouldn't leave without meeting Salman and get his wish fulfilled.

The kid waited for patiently without giving up on hope. Salman was already shooting an action scene for Bodyguard and was absorbed in his character. Learning about the long wait by this young fan, he took a break after his shot and rushed to visit the kid.

Salman a.k.a Lovely Singh in Bodyguard, fell in love with the boy's innocence and determination to meet him. He immediately agreed to play his Bodyguard and take him on a ride despite of his busy shoot schedule.

This probably was the happiest moment for the child and as far as Salman is concerned he went back to shooting for his year's big Eid release Bodyguard.
