Dear Khyzzia, I wrote this letter when i was at the office to remind me of a blessing that i have a daughter such as sweet and smart like you.I want to let you know that i am so proud of you.You always say sorry even at the slightest mistake.You always see to it that i am happy by simply studying your lessons every night and i know you are trying hard to excel in school because that is what i want .You never fail to remind me not to worry because everything will be alright.You talk softly and powerfully in a way that i can understand and i would simply keep quiet because i was wrong.You never ask or demand anything except for your school requirements. I was on a motorcycle going to a mall today after my work to buy myself a cartridge for my e-cigarette since i am trying to quit smoking and the only solution i have in mind was to indulge myself with e-cigarettes,after all you don't want lung cancer after smoking incessantly for 15 years.Brought home a box of doughnut and coffee for myself to match my e-cigarette.E-cigarettes blend perfectly well with milk coffee. It dawned on me that i was always paying for lottery tickets i never won,if there is one,i won 800 pesos only enough to call it a day.I've been doing this for years,betting on PCSO lottery,6/49,6/42/,6/55.See?i memorize the whole goddamn thing.Lotteries are the only hope i have to afford one unit of vehicle and a house in Pueblo de Oro .I am desperately in need of a vehicle especially a Monterosport,i also joined raffle draws in newspapers in order to win a Monterosport vehicle but I did not win instead some Chinese last name was called i assume that girl is rich or something because of her last name,usually Chinese are rich people and they have businesses in the Philippines,maybe that one is a Filipino-Chinese.I asked God why to some people He is kind, in fact,they have had their experiences uttered on air while i did not experience His kindness to me and He have not given me anything i want maybe i publicly testify His kindness.Is God being fair?The ones who received His blessings are not very kind people yet they still received their own .Yes,i've read in the bible so many times"seek and you shall find,knock and the door shall be open...." admittedly,i asked so many times but none of them came to life.Am i very far from God? but i am not a bad christian,i go to church every Sunday and i pray to God in silence or anywhere whenever i remember to pray.Is God unfair?why are there beautiful people and ugly people?everybody must know beautiful people are still beautiful anywhere on earth.Today,i am upset and doubting if God is real.If He is real can he at least be kind to me and answer my prayers?

It's a rainy Saturday and im alone in my auntie Joan's house browsing through her new notebook and searching for jobs in the internet, although i have a stable career, but it is not enough for my personal needs the fact that i am a single mom and raising my daughter alone that is why i am planning to file for a Solo Parent Act etc.and i hope it will help me as a solo parent. My mother is retiring this May after her 65th birthday and i feel she is really getting old because she is getting thinner everytime i see her with wrinkles around her eyes but thank God she is still very physically active and i really think she can still run for miles,she is aging gracefully and she is still mestiza with the help of hair dyes and beauty creams she was able to maintain her glow.Salamat! Stanhome World because my mother is still very pretty and still marketable at the age of 65.Today is Saturday and im gonna watch Willing Willie.It is my favorite show on tv.Miss you guys and and i will return soon.

City Central school covered court was packed with people last Saturday for the first PTA general assembly.Rolando,a grade 2 pupil in City Central school, a nominee of Pilipinas Got Talent and a cast of Going Bulilit rendered a song.His talent along with his great personality was another pride of the Kagay-anons.Meanwhile,i had a lunch date with my little angel at a japanese restaurant,for lunch,i had sushi and blueberry cheesecake gelato and Khyzzia had salmon,salad and chocolate gelato.Sunday was not very good i just laid in bed the whole day and Khyzzia played her dreamhouse toy.

I came early for the LCHS batch 95 meeting last Saturday.We will be having a garage sale on August 26,2010 just before the city fiesta at Kiosk,Divisoria.But,im still digging for my old stuffs,the thingis i really do not want to throw them out because almost all of them have their own mushy story except my company uniform which makes me at other times uncomfortable,the ones you want to take off immediately because they are too tight.Of course,i will not put them in a garage sale.Silly. Dolly had her witty comeback,she had a certain glow in her eyes,you can easily tell she's in love.Love makes a woman beautiful,eh?she is going to remarry in the Philippines by 2012 with the same man.We went to Light,a newly open KTV bar somewhere near Pearlmont with my high school classmates right after the meeting. I spent the week shopping and dining out with my family.Thank you lola Tutay for the check.Oh! boy,i gained a lot of weight lately,did you say i have a fat chance of finding Mr.Right?i mean,Khyzzia is growing up,in fact,she had a crush in the neighborhood which she openly confessed last summer.I really think she had a discerning eye because the boy is really cute,you know the boy-next-door type.Anyway,she will have her first grading exam.I am afraid i will not be able to blog for the next two days because she needs my expertise before next week,Harr,harr,harr.til then.

Khyzzia is always attracted to the carnivals and the pools.In her 9th birthday,she celebrated it in Marco hotel with her two bestfriends Alyssa and Aliyah who excitedly played in the pool which also reminded me of the fun times i had with my 25 year old German ex-bf in this hotel not very long ago. The other night Khyzzia and I watched this hilarious and sexy movie Sex and the City 2 in DVD.I missed it when it was out on cinema.She was very delighted when she saw the pool in a hotel in Abu Dhabi if only in movies .Abu Dhabi is a great place. And besides Abu Dhabi i would like to see Disneyland in Hongkong with Khyzzia on December maybe it will change her mind on pools but for now i just want her to focus on her studies.

Although the battle in the election is over and we have come up with a winner,some may have won in the election but were cheated,however,people are still fanning the flames because the bullets are still embedded in their memory.

I was in a psyciatric rehabilitation clinic undergoing a treatment for my smoking habit where i paid roughly P6,000 pesos a week but it didn't turn out the way it was expected because i was back to my habit when i stepped out from that clean environment.While watching my favorite soap opera on tv,the election campaign ads kept popping on the television screen and i wonder how much these people were paying to the television networks maybe a million or more just to get through the election campaign traffic.

While some people find it absurd,but many people are still sending their full support through the clothes they wear by imitating the color of the clothes of their candidate,like for example,yellow for Aquino,orange for Villar,blue for Pimentel,Violet for Emano and maybe pink for Jaraula.

Clothes do play an important role in the society because it helps us communicate our deep-rooted feelings by simply choosing the right color of clothes,as well as protect ourselves from a harsh environment it can also transform a flabby chic to a sexy goddess.While a car has nothing to do with clothes,but i prefer distinctive clothes especially with striped details over a Ferrari because i cannot run for miles without my clothes on unless i drive naked then i suppose that is another story.

I was not a bit surprised at President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III State Of the Nation Address nor i was surprised at former President now Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for evading the first SONA held at Batasang Pambansa last Monday.I would be surprised if the former president will stay in the Philippine territory despite the allegations filed against her,once her infamous " Hello,Garci."

They are the powerful people in the country and they can do whathever they want to do and let us just see how a bachelor president can dramatically unfold the anomalies in the Arroyo administration and how he can best alleviate the sufferings of the Filipino people and their families who once are the victim of fraud,poverty,calamity and murder.

On the lighter note,the president had his hair cut and he looked younger than his age.As expected,his girlfriend who wore a bright yellow gown at the inauguration day was not in the scene when the camera combed the crowd while delivering his 30 minute speech in the SONA yesterday.

Michelle ( my colleague) and I went to Isla Bonita last friday for a cold beer.By the way, Isla Bonita is located right beside Ororama Cogon.The place was enriched with beautiful sea shells,sea paintings and native lamps so you will get to experience a breezy feeling eventhough you're in the heart of a busy and crowded city.Isla Bonita also serves chicken intestines and they call it Chicken Snake.I recently discovered that you can mix in a little of flour,egg and a pinch of salt and fry it until golden brown.It tasted really good so i thought i will make another at home.

The entire family also watched Hating Kapatid last Saturday where Judy Ann played the role of an older sister to Sarah Geronimo.Judy Ann was a very protective sister to Sarah.It was a romantic-comedy movie.Apparently,Juday's womb grew bigger in the middle of the film and her round face became even more pronounced at the end of the film.She will be expecting a baby soon and i think she needs some time to rest.I am not really a fan of this actress except for Sarah Geronimo and Vice Ganda who also happens to be in this movie.

We went home at 10:00 PM so i cannot really attend our LCHS batch '95 meeting,maybe,some other time.Have a happy weekend.

Launching my blog in 2007,I became a weary blog racer while i became lazy typing on my keyboard.I thought making a blog was easy but i was not a born writer and considering that tagalog is my language and by far the simplest i know.A single mother still honing on my parenting skills while worming my way through a new and strict local government administration.I am convinced that i cannot write,at least better and fast.To stop persecuting myself too much,will make a blog once a week,perhaps,twice a week depending my steadily hectic schedule and mood swings.

City Finance Department Part 1

Suddenly,an employee of the Civil Service Commissions Office Stepped out of the door and handed papers to the 24 examinees.With my fingers crossed,i waited for the result of my exam but my name was not called.There were only 6 of us left inside a small room and i was hopeless.Jesus! how would i explain this to my father? I was nervous.I could feel my heart beating fast against my rib cage while i was grasping for air inside a poorly ventilated room.

"Charess...congratulations! you passed the exam," said a stout woman in her mid 40's and gave the remaining 5 examinees a smile and later closed the door behind us.

I rushed home to see my sickly father who was reading a Holy Bible.I showed him the paper that looked like a bank check and he kissed me and thanked me.My father was the most loving and humble father in the world.When he knew that he was dying,he retired from work early and adviced me to take the Civil Service Exam and he introduced me to Vice-Mayor Vicente Yap Emano who was at that time the Mayor of the city of Cagayan de Oro.Luckily,he accepted me in his administration eventhough he read in my application letter that i am related to a politician who was in the other party.Anyway,i strongly despised political issues.

Working in the local government for more than 6 years and assigned at different divisions,i believe that i am a flexible person.To audit collections was my first job at the Treasury Operation And Review Division.It was never easy as counting 1 to 3.I made sure that my eyes were focused on the official receipts and balance the amounts paid reflected on the official receipts to the computerized and manual abstracts if not i had to repeat the same process before concluding that it was an under remittance or over remittance.Then,i was assigned at Realty Tax Division.I used to type clearances for taxpayers who would like to avail a loan in the bank,or would like to acquire a land title,exemption from taxes,or tranfer a parcel of land.At other times,i walked in kilometers under a piercing heat and walked on rough roads to locate addresses as well as deliver bills to delinquent taxpayers.And assigned at Business Tax Division last year,i audited and made abstracts manually for the collections from the Public Market vendors.And lately,i was assigned at Tax Inspection Division,i checked movie goers by every tickets sold in the premiere and deluxe section of the cinema as well as checked on film classification and hopefully next week i would send out final demands to different establishment owners who failed to secure business permits.My job was never boring.

Normally,local government employees especially in the Department Of Finance are assigned at different divisions.The system made us more flexible and it helped us to learn how to work under pressure.Assigned at different divisions,i can say that i have gained friends both professionally and personally.Happiness in the workplace on the other hand is not just about promotions but also in building and maintaining a good relationship with co-workers.I belong to the lowest position in the government,however,my respect dwell on the person's character and not blindsided by their stature in the society.The following names listed below are co-workers i respect and appreciate in my workplace.They are flexible,accomodating, and are intellectually superior.If you would like to come and invest in the City of Cagayan de Oro expect lengthy conversations with all your inquiries answered.

Don't Ever Try it

I arrived at half-past nine this morning from Initao National Park.I had a great time with my relatives and friends.We went hiking,snorkeling and boating.It was indeed an exhilarating experience;finally,I have seen the Centennial tree,dear God,it even grew more taller than the last time i saw it.But when i came back i laid like vegetable in between the sheets;while my daughter was in her school uniform.Seeing her in school uniform reminded me of her dirty socks left unwash at the bottom sink.With my eyes half closed,i called my little darling and ordered a band aid from the store.She was extremely curious .To match her curiosity,She took a flight onto the store and came back with a band aid in hand.Lazily,i attached the band aid on her toes.And she went to school with knitted eyebrows ,she wore a sandal and carried a bag so small,she walked in staccato like she was in tow.And i was guilty but it was just that i was so sleepy -- dont ever try it!

Anyway,i should leave you now with pictures taken in Initao National Park.I need to finish washing those dirty socks or i'll never earn her eyeballs.She was ignoring me this afternoon,dah.

How To Get Rid Of Annoying Friends

The song was played several times in the mall where my colleague,a very good friend of mine, and i have been working together as movie checkers.Upon hearing it,he related to me a story of how he lost his old friends after christmas.

At exactly 12 o'clock midnight,his family gathered around a small table for " noche buena" and altogether they bowed and thanked God for all the wonderful blessings they received.They thanked God for the promotion of his mother who was now janitress 2 and his 58 year old sister's engagement to a 27 year old man.Meanwhile,a knocked on the door interrupted their conversation with God.He stood up and opened the door and warmly welcomed a flood of fashionable old friends.He greeted and hugged everyone.But like sharks dined on swimmers,his friends dined on his feather fashion statement,and before he knew it his friends left and ignored him forever.

Initao National Park Part 2

"Do you know that we are going again to National Park?"Veronica asked,her eyes showing excitement.

"Yes,i've heard from Mark last night that we are going to National Park as soon as tito will arrive,it is his favorite spot and besides 4 days is not a long way off,"i said reassuringly,"Oh!boy,im really excited."I said,while preparing for a cup of coffee.

"I miss the place,i want to see the Centennial tree again.How high do you think is it these days?"

"It was approximately 20 meters high,i guess higher than Eiffel tower now ." I said, and handed her a cup of coffee.

"I can still remember the small hole leading to the Liza cave,it was vast once inside, but there was only a little amout of air that passes through the cave.I remember Taptap farted and everyone ran and covered their noses."She said,and laughed out loud.

"Can i borrow those pictures taken in Initao National Park?"

"Why?of course!"She exclaimed.

She took a sip of her hot coffee and stepped out of the room.

These pictures were taken in Initao National Park in April 1999.It is one of the hot spots in Misamis Oriental.If you are the kind of person who seeks adventure then why not visit the place some time?Bring along some friends,relatives,neighborhood or even your dog Sparky.

Initao National Park Part 1

While walking on the road one day,I could see the trees gracefully dancing with the wind,and the only sound i could hear was total silence.The clouds hovered far above and the faded light of the moon served as my only consolation.

Deeply thinking,I failed to notice an excavation and i fell 6 feet under.I tried to look for a way out but it seemed like i have put on blinders.I shouted for help,suddenly,i heard footsteps coming toward my direction.I looked at her squarely and i began to see the face of a stirrer,a swindler, a puppet master.

I saw piercing eyes.And hers are eyes that are meant to deceive innocent souls.Inspite of her vile breath and monstrous character she thrusted her hand,however,i was hesitant for a moment.

I cried out as a hand closed around my shoulder shaking me.

"Charess,wake up.Veronica's here.She wants to talk to you and she says it can't wait."

I blinked my sister into focus" What?What time is it?"

"Almost eleven-you slept late last night.I didn't want to wake you because i heard you up last night."

"Tell her I'll be right down."

My Reactivated Blog

Two weeks ago i was at my disposal to apply for a paid to blog website.Mentally calculating the amount that i could possibly make as well as the desire to promote my favorite products,i pressed the enter tab for confirmation.Checking on my email account the following day,the result disheartened me.They denied my request because of too little traffic and links to my site.How thick-skinned! With that being said,I was able to consume 10 sticks of cigarettes instead of 5.

How can i possibly sleep after being tossed into the basket?When i have an access,what am i to lose?While forming circles of smoke in the air,I went at great lenghts.I searched on Google,Askjeeves and Alexa.And i even installed Alexa tool bar! perhaps thinking it was the reason why my traffic rank has increased by 2%.Then,i added more links on my post and commented on bloggers postings.I had so much fun.

I re-sent my application for the paid to blog site in the afternoon while analyzing my site statistic, it appears that my site has increased unique visitors and total impressions between affliates at Linkshare.Apparently,this reactivated site will have more developments by the end of this month,unless my internet connection is disconnected.

I have been a computer hog and to pull away from my computer i decided to hit the road.While the engine was running, i saw a street kid in Cagayan de Oro City begging for leftovers.Seeing him made my heart sank,what if my daughter is a street kid and is starving to death just like him?Then,i decided the next day to spend her 2nd birthday with the street kid at McDonalds,Limketkai Arcade,Cagayan de Oro City. Jesus H. Christ! look what i've got a picture of my cousin with a pancake booty assisting a 5 year old street kid at McDo.You will never know how happy you can be seeing his pearly white teeth when i reached out to give his give away. I completely understand that happiness is not only about having twin turbos,ripe melons,heavy bumpers,but also in sharing your blessings and believing that you can make mountains out of molehills in your own special way.
