Levels of Our Life

Living beings share many characteristics, including the ability to develop, grow, heal, regenerate, and adapt to environmental changes. But their lives are finite; they are mortal. Therefore, living beings must create others like themselves so that life can continue. This is the fundamental purpose of all living organisms.

Since the fittest organisms survive, they have a greater opportunity to reproduce than the weak and unadapted. This process leads, over time, to positive evolutionary changes in all species of the animal kingdom. This is the meaning of death.

Humans and animals share many instincts.

1. They need their own space, food, water, air, and shelter.

2. Animals communicate through sounds, gestures, or signals; human language is much more complex and allows for abstract thought and the transfer of knowledge.

3. Social behavior—grouping—is exhibited by many species, including invertebrates, fish, birds, mammals, and humans. Different individuals unite in groups with a well-coordinated social system, the purpose of which is to find food, shelter, mates, and protection from predators.

Termites are social insects and exhibit a complex social life. They live in colonies with well-organized castes. A termite colony contains three castes: workers, soldiers, and reproductives.

A bee colony has two castes: workers (sterile females) and drones (fertile males). The queen (a fertile female) is responsible for the colony's reproduction.

Some animals form groups with a clearly defined hierarchical structure, such as wolves, coyotes, lions, some species of fox, and others.

In hierarchical social animals, dominant individuals exert control over others, and the dominance hierarchy is strictly enforced. The alpha male—the strongest male in the group—is always the leader. He maintains discipline and cohesion in the group. He strictly enforces the rank of members in the chain of command. He eats first, and the others wait until he is full. He does not yield leadership in any group activity.

If the leader dies, his strong successors, occupying the position between the leader and the lower-ranking males, compete for the vacant position.

There are parallels in human and animal behavior, but differences also exist.

Humanity is one of the most developed species of the animal kingdom. Humans possess qualitatively new capabilities that animals lack.

Material Level

The fundamental level of life for both humans and animals is material. They must provide food and shelter for themselves and their offspring. Both humans and animals teach newborns the skills necessary for independent survival after they leave the family.

Animals have a basic logical mind, allowing them to find a comfortable place to live, gather the necessary materials to build a shelter, or at least find shelter in places where food can be found. Humanity's material level is incomparably higher. A superior logical mind has enabled humans to engage in scientific research, create complex instruments, high-speed vehicles, and medicines that can extend lifespans, all of which have led to rapid population growth. The planet's population has increased from one billion in 1800 to 8 billion in 2024.

In human society, in addition to the material level, there are two other levels: emotional and spiritual. Emotional life is associated with feelings, while spiritual life is associated with higher meanings, values, and the search for truth and purpose.

Emotional Level

Emotional life is the realm of feelings (empathy, compassion, warmth, gentleness, kindness, love, but also hatred, envy, jealousy, anger, irritation, contempt, disgust, hostility, etc.).

In Russian, as in other European languages, a kind, compassionate person is usually called "soulful," while an unkind or indifferent person is called "heartless." A soulful person exhibits a sympathetic and empathetic attitude toward the grief and suffering of others. They try to help or at least support those in need.

I will give you one example.

A student and two of her colleagues were in the center of a city in Eastern Europe. Suddenly, they saw a young Gypsy girl and a man with a stick running after her. "Protect her," the student said to her colleagues. One of them calmly said, "Why? She probably stole something. It's not for nothing that he's chasing her." His friend agreed. Close to them, the girl tripped and fell. The student, terrified, thought the man would hurt or even kill her. She screamed at the top of her lungs. Passersby stopped, and the man stopped too. He looked at the student, at the horror and pain reflected on her face, threw down his stick, and walked on. The girl stood up and hobbled back the way she had come.

In life, those who do not help almost always find explanations for why they do so, while those who sympathize rush to help. Empathy is the fundamental characteristic of a heartful person. They feel both the pain and joy of others.

The ability to recognize, understand, manage, and utilize your own emotions positively, while also recognizing and influencing the emotions of others we can call emotional mind whereas the logical mind (intelligence) is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills, like abstract reasoning, problem-solving, memory, and information processing. The last has nothing to do with emotions.

The emotional mind differs from the logical mind in that it makes decisions quickly. A heartfelt person, having sensed a situation, can decide immediately. For a logical mind, this usually takes more time: they need to gather data and make decisions based on the results. Having an emotional mind is a great advantage. These people make effective leaders. They know how to inspire, resolve conflicts, and lead people not through orders, but through convictions and shared values. People lacking an emotional mind rarely rise high in the corporate ladder.

Of all human emotions, one of the most complex and multifaceted is love. Millions of works of art are devoted to the theme of love, and each time, great works reveal something new, something previously unsaid.

Ancient Greek philosophers described diverse types of love.

1. Eros (named after the god of love and fertility) is a passionate physical attraction that ensures procreation in both humans and animals.

2. Platonic love (named after the Greek philosopher Plato) is a deep connection between people based on spiritual attraction, shared interests, and mutual respect, which consciously excludes physical relations.

I will give two examples.

- The lifelong love of the Russian writer Ivan Turgenev for the French singer Pauline Viardot. Turgenev adored Polina. He always lived near her home, and sometimes even lived with her family. He was a friend of Polina's husband and her daughter.

- The love of the German composer Johannes Brahms for the pianist Clara Schumann. When Brahms met Clara, he was twenty and she was thirty-four. She had been married to composer Robert Schumann for 13 years and had seven children with him, with another child born a year later. Robert died when Clara was thirty-seven. Clara was a renowned pianist who gave concerts to support her large family. Brahms fell in love with her from the moment they met and believed throughout his life that Clara embodied the ideal of femininity, that she was the best. Brahms never married. He supported Clara throughout his life. In turn, Clara often performed his new compositions in her concerts. Their emotional connection lasted until Clara's death. Brahms died 10 months after her.

3. Storge describes the natural, deep kinship bond between family members, such as between parents and children, siblings, and other relatives. Storge is based on care, support, and unconditional love.

The love between parents and children is always strong when children are small and need protection. As children grow up, this love can weaken and even disappear completely. Lena, a friend of mine, told me that her mother asked her to come when her mother had only four months to live. Lena did not go.

"Why?" I asked, surprised. "She gave you an education and cared for you very much."

"So, what?" Lena said. "I educated my daughter, and I care for her too. We owe our parents nothing. Look at animals in nature. Parents care for their children during childhood, but then all relationships break down, and the children do not even know where their parents are. Debt to parents is passed down from generation to generation. My mother's parents raised her, she raised me, and I, in turn, raised my daughter. In this way, I have repaid my debt.”

Lena is certainly right about the relationships between children and parents in nature. Animal children do not care for their parents because they have no one to care for. There are no old species in nature: animals usually die before their fertility drops to zero. They are of no use when they can no longer reproduce. Their children receive the instincts for survival at birth. Old parents can contribute nothing.

Not so with humans. People live about one hundred years, twice as long as their fertile age. People have freedom of choice. The course and development of a person's life depend on choice, not on the instincts received at birth. Older people, having accumulated life experience, can help the younger generation make the right choices. Elderly people are needed not only in the family but also in a healthy society. A younger society, without the elderly, would be more aggressive.

That is why all major religions have had the commandment "respect your parents, take care of your parents in old age." In many countries, a clearly defined system existed for centuries. Typically, the eldest son was expected to care for his parents. Parents, in turn, would leave their son an inheritance if they had anything. Therefore, in China, when people were allowed to have only one child, there were cases of girls being killed at birth in the hope that the next child would be a boy. In several countries, for those who did not have children, there was a small church allowance that prevented elderly from starving to death in old age. The modern pension system was introduced by German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck in the late 19th century. It allows workers who reach retirement age to live not much worse than they did when they were earning a salary.

4. Pragma is a "rational" love based on duty, common interests, and long-term compatibility.

Marriage between a man and a woman is eros + pragma. A strong marriage is built on mutual respect, communication, and a deep emotional connection. "Love is two bodies and one soul," said Aristotle. This kind of love describes a happy marriage. A marriage based solely on eros usually falls apart, as eros wanes over time. Marriage is stronger when there is mutual understanding, respect, care, and support.

5. Philia is a mutual, friendly love. It is founded on shared values, mutual respect, trust, loyalty, and spiritual kinship. It develops over time through shared experiences and intellectual connections. It often involves deep conversations and mutual understanding that does not require physical attraction.

There are examples of philia in history and literature.

- Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson in Arthur Conan Doyle's stories.

- Horatio and Hamlet in Shakespeare's "Hamlet." Horatio remains faithful when everyone else abandons or betrays the prince.

- Damon and Pythias (fourth century BC) - Greek legend. Both adhered to Pythagorean teachings and were friends. Pythias, sentenced to death for insulting the tyrant Dionysius, asked to be released briefly before his execution so he could marry off his sister, leaving Damon as a hostage. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he was delayed, and Damon had already been brought to the execution site. At the last moment, Pythias appeared, out of breath. Dionysius, struck by the strength of their friendship, overturned the sentence.

6. Agape is unconditional, universal, selfless, and sacrificial love for all humanity, spiritual or divine love. In Greek philosophy and theology, Agape represents the highest form of love. It is a love of reason and will, not emotional love. It is entirely focused on the needs of another person.

Examples of Agape

- A classic example of Agape is the "Good Samaritan" from the New Testament. The Samaritan helps a wounded stranger, a person who has nothing to offer in return. It is love that extends to all people simply because they are human.

- Forgiving an enemy is a profound act of Agape; it does not require liking the other person. Forgiving people who have wronged you—not because they deserve it, but because you value their humanity more than your own offense. It is a powerful way to turn an enemy into a friend.

- Community service and volunteerism

- People who dedicate their lives to social justice, humanitarian aid, or caring for the terminally ill often act from Agape.

- Individuals like modern doctors who volunteer in war zones. They are there out of a sense of duty to love their neighbor.

Agape exists, but it is quite rare.

Spiritual level

Spirituality is a deeper, higher state associated with the pursuit of an ideal, understanding the meaning of life, self-improvement, and a connection with something higher (God) that transcends the earthly, logical level.

A spiritual person is kind and warm-hearted, while a spiritual person seeks higher truth and harmony, the principles of good and evil.

Primitive people believed that the world was inhabited by invisible spirits, supernatural beings, both good and evil. They were believed to actively participate in people's lives. These were the earliest ways of understanding the surrounding world and life in it, a search for a connection with a Higher Principle.

As humanity developed, and people began to unite into cities and states, religions emerged, based on a shared belief in one god or group of gods. Religions provided an explanation for the material structure of the world and answered the question of how to live. Religions contained a moral code regulating human behavior. A code of law was compiled, based on a moral code.

As early as 3,000 years ago, the prophet Zarathustra (Zoroaster in Greek), the founder of the Zoroastrian religion, said that man has intelligence and freedom of choice. This distinguishes man from animals.

Zoroastrianism is built on the opposition of two forces: Ahura Mazda (the Holy Spirit, truth, light) and Angra Mainyu (the Evil Spirit, lies, darkness). God endowed man with intelligence and free will so that he could consciously choose between Truth and Falsehood, to contribute to the prosperity of the world or its destruction. "Listen with your ears, look with a clear mind at both options to decide for yourselves."

Unlike other ancient teachings, where human destiny is predetermined by the gods or fate, Zoroastrianism asserts that man is an active ally of God (Ahura Mazda) in the fight against evil. Freedom of choice in Zoroastrianism is realized through the famous ethical formula: good thoughts, good words, good deeds. Every moment of life is a choice among these elements.

Freedom of choice is inextricably linked with responsibility. After death, a person's soul appears at the Bridge of Separation, leading to eternal life.

- If a person has chosen the path of Truth, the bridge becomes wide and light.

- If a person has chosen falsehood, the bridge becomes sharp as a blade, and the soul falls into the abyss.

Thus, salvation is not a gift from above, but a direct result of the accumulated choices of a person. Zoroastrian ideas became the foundation for Christian and Islamic ethics.

In ancient Egypt, a person had to observe the forty-two principles (commandments) of Maat when making life choices. The goddess Maat personified cosmic order, truth, justice, and harmony.

The goddess Maat held the posthumous judgment. According to the Book of the Dead (2500 BC):

- The heart of the deceased (the seat of conscience) was placed on one side of the scale.

- The feather of Ma'at was placed on the other side.

- If the heart was weighed down by sins and proved heavier than the feather, the person was eaten by the monster Ammit. If the scales balanced, the person gained eternal life.

Before the judgment of Ma'at, the deceased had to recite the "Confession of Denial," affirming their allegiance to the goddess's 42 principles: I have not stolen, I have not killed, I have not lied, I have not sinned, I have not slandered anyone, I have not eavesdropped, I have not seduced anyone's wife, and so on.

Some of these forty-two principles were included in the commandments of Moses.

Thus, all religions that have survived time have demanded that people adhere to moral laws.

Over time, the topic of the structure of the world shifted to science. But the answer to the question of how to live remained, and remains, with religions. In the 16th century, Nicolaus Copernicus demonstrated that the Earth is not the center of the universe. Scientists have established that the creation account given in the Old Testament is erroneous. Atheists have emerged among the educated public.

Isaac Newton held an extremely critical view of atheism, describing it as "meaningless and abhorrent to mankind." His opposition was not simply a matter of faith but was rooted in his scientific observations of the universe, which he believed provided empirical evidence for the existence of an intelligent Creator. Newton argued that the complexity and mathematical order of the natural world made the idea of a Godless universe logically impossible. Newton saw no contradiction between science and faith. On the contrary, his scientific research was a path to understanding the God he deeply revered, a God who was both the architect and ruler of the cosmos.

The great physicists of the 19th century shared this view. They saw the laws of nature as direct confirmation of divine design. Physical constants and the precision of the laws of mechanics served as proof of the existence of intelligence beyond matter.

Michael Faraday (1791–1867), the discoverer of electromagnetism, believed that the book of nature was open to anyone willing to read it without prejudice, and he saw the laws of physics as an order established by the Creator.

James Clerk Maxwell (1831–1879): The creator of the electromagnetic field theory, he was a staunch Christian. He believed that the molecules of matter were so identical in their properties that they excluded their accidental or eternal existence and pointed to an external Creator.

William Thomson (Lord Kelvin) (1824–1907): One of the founders of thermodynamics, he openly opposed materialism. He declared, "If you think hard enough, you will be forced by science to believe in God."

George Gabriel Stokes (1819–1903): President of the Royal Society and a distinguished mathematician, wrote extensively on natural theology and believed that science and religion were harmoniously complementary.

But already in the second half of the 19th century, atheists and agnostics appeared in science. This was associated with the spread of Darwin's theory of evolution.

When John Tyndall, a renowned physicist and member of the Royal Society, proclaimed in one of his lectures the omnipotence of physics over the soul and mind, Maxwell wrote humorous verses mocking scientists who believed that everything in the world could be explained solely by the movement of matter. This is an excerpt from his poem:

“In the beginning there was Chaos and Darkness, and atoms in eternal play,

But they did not need reason for the world to be born in a bonfire.

From the whirlwind and dust arose both mountains and the blue sky,

And all is but the collision of particles, and there is no soul, no end,

We are only machines that wander without purpose and without a Creator.

But if we are simply atoms, and thought is only the trace of movement,

Then who read us this learned nonsense?

As a physicist, Maxwell understood that the probability that logic and consciousness would spontaneously emerge from the chaos of atoms was mathematically equal to zero. He believed that matter obeys laws, but the laws themselves cannot arise from matter.

As fundamental science developed, applied science also evolved. This led to a materialistic view of life and a rapid rise in the number of atheists. When a person considers only “secondary causes” (direct scientific explanations of how everything works), he can stop at and assume that God is not necessary. However, when he considers the “chain” of all causes interconnected, he must inevitably understand that behind the order and beauty of the Universe there is a Divine Creator. This idea belongs to the English philosopher Francis Bacon (1561-1626). In his essay “On Atheism,” Bacon wrote: “It is true that a little philosophy inclines the mind of man to atheism; but the deep study of philosophy brings men’s minds to religion.” The same idea was expressed about 4 centuries later by Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976), a Nobel laureate and pioneer of quantum mechanics: “The first sip from the glass of natural science will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God awaits you.” In his book “Physics and Beyond,” he wrote that he could never “reject the content of religious thinking” and believed that science and religion point to the same “central order.”

All great religions that have survived have placed the fulfillment of moral commandments and laws at the center of human life: honor thy father and thy mother, do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not covet thy neighbor's house, and so on. Atheists automatically rejected the church's moral teachings and its moral achievements, throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Fyodor Dostoevsky's famous formula: "If there is no God, then everything is permitted" is the core of Dostoevsky's work. The writer views permissiveness not as freedom, but as a psychological and spiritual dead end, a direct path to catastrophe. Without a higher court, conscience becomes merely a biological mechanism that a "strong" person can suppress.

This theme is explored in The Brothers Karamazov, Demons, and Crime and Punishment. In The Brothers Karamazov, the atheist Ivan Karamazov realizes that his formula of permissiveness led to bloodshed—the death of his father.

In his novel The Demons, Fyodor Dostoevsky showed the catastrophic consequences of rejecting God and moral principles. Dostoevsky views the ideas of radical socialism and anarchism not simply as political movements, but as a spiritual "disease" afflicting Russian society. One of the novel's most terrifying ideas is its prophecy of totalitarianism.

The ideas of The Demons were confirmed with considerable accuracy during the Bolshevik seizure of power in Russia in 1917. The plan of the liberals who defeated the autocracy in the February Revolution of 1917 was to establish democratic rule along Western lines. But the Bolsheviks seized power and established a dictatorship, bloody terror, and the denial of all sacredness in Russia. In "Crime and Punishment," Rodion Raskolnikov attempts to answer the question: does an outstanding individual have the right to transgress moral law for the sake of a "Great Goal"? He wants to kill a "useless, vile" old woman pawnbroker to save hundreds of talented people and his family with her money. He wants to rise above morality, but discovers that by transgressing the law, he is killing not only the "old woman," but also his own soul.

Time has shown how right Dostoevsky was.

The 20th century saw the rise of militant atheism and permissiveness.

Failure to observe the commandment "Thou shalt not kill." Great logical minds of scientists with a materialistic philosophy invented and built a multitude of highly technological weapons: tanks, airplanes, submarines, bombs, and other means of killing. They justified themselves by claiming they were serving a Great Cause, although these "Great Causes" varied among different nations and were often directly opposed. Soldiers also went into battle for "Great Causes." In World War I (1914-1918), approximately forty million people died, and in World War II (1939-1945), 70-85 million people died. Furthermore, various local wars (civil, border, and others) were waged around the world, so there were few days without war at all. According to various estimates, the total number of people killed because of wars and armed violence in the 20th century (including the world wars) ranges from 187 to 231 million.

In Russia, after the Bolsheviks seized power in 1917, a destruction of churches began. This campaign had two goals: plundering the church's wealth and combating its moral teachings, which contradicted materialistic Marxist ideology. An atheistic worldview was considered the only correct one. In schools, children were taught that science had long ago proven God does not exist and that only illiterate people believed in Him. State atheism was established. The state subsidized anti-religious campaigns, lectures, atheist museums, and the publication of literature. Surviving religious organizations were placed under strict surveillance by the secret services.

After World War II, state atheism was promoted in all the new communist states of Eastern Europe, as well as in China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Cambodia. During the Cultural Revolution in China (1966–1976), Red Guards destroyed temples, burned books, and smashed statues. Monks and priests were sent to "re-education" camps or to perform hard labor in the countryside. Temples, mosques, and churches were destroyed or converted into warehouses, factories, and slaughterhouses.

Atheism also spread rapidly in the West in the 20th century. By the end of the century, it had become a mass social phenomenon, a norm of life for millions of people.

The horrors of the First and Second World Wars gave atheists a pretext to criticize God. The question "Where was God in Auschwitz?" became central to European propaganda. Thus, European thinkers rejected the idea of free will and human responsibility for one's choices. They shifted the blame for murder to God. In this understanding of religious thought, a person becomes a pawn, lacking freedom of choice and not responsible for the atrocities committed.

In the 20th century, science became atheistic and fought against the idea of a Divine Creator at all costs. A striking example of this struggle is the story of the English astronomer and Cambridge University professor Fred Hoyle.

Sir Fred Hoyle (1915–2001) was one of the most influential and extraordinary astrophysicists of the 20th century. His scientific legacy includes both fundamental discoveries that formed the foundations of modern science and controversial hypotheses.

The concept of stellar nucleosynthesis was first formulated by Hoyle in 1946. This explained the existence of elements heavier than helium in the universe, showing that critical elements such as carbon can form in stars and then be incorporated into other stars and planets when that star "dies." Prior to his time, it was believed that all chemical elements were created at the Big Bang. Hoyle proved that almost everything we are made of (carbon, oxygen, iron) was "cooked" inside stars. Hoyle rejected the Big Bang theory.

Hoyle argued that life could not have arisen by chance. He calculated that the probability of obtaining all the essential enzymes necessary for a living cell in a single random trial was approximately 1 in 10^40,000. He claimed the probability was so small that it could not have happened even if the entire universe consisted of an "organic soup." Hoyle compared the probability of life's spontaneous origin to the probability that a tornado sweeping through a scrap yard could assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials found there, or that a monkey typing at random could eventually type Shakespeare's works. Hoyle concluded: "If one approaches this question directly and without fear of incurring the wrath of the scientific community, one must conclude that biomaterials, with their astonishing degree of order, must be the result of intelligent design. No other possibility occurred to me..."

The 1983 Nobel Prize for "theoretical and experimental investigations of nuclear reactions of importance for the formation of the chemical elements in the Universe" was awarded not to Hoyle, but to another scientist, even though Hoyle was the inventor of the theory of stellar nucleosynthesis, publishing two scientific papers shortly after World War II. "The prize was rejected because Hoyle might have used the prestige of the Nobel Prize to impose his truly absurd ideas on the general public," commented one member of the Nobel Committee. But in this case, it was not Hoyle, but the Nobel Committee, who had the absurd idea. In today's scientific community, freedom of speech is limited.

Conclusion

We have discussed three ways of thinking and comprehending the world: materialistic, emotional, and spiritual.

Majority of humanity lives on a materialistic level of life. They are overly concerned with physical comfort or the acquisition of material goods, rather than with spiritual, intellectual, or cultural values. They adhere to the philosophy of materialism, a theory that views matter as the constituent element of the universe and all its phenomena. Atheism, which recognizes no moral boundaries or commandments, has prevailed in the world. As the wars of the 20th century have shown, there is still little love for one's neighbor and compassion for the suffering of others.

This is understandable. Humanity is still young. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Anatomically modern humans appeared approximately 300,000 years ago. The transition to agriculture and a sedentary lifestyle occurred 10-12 thousend years ago, and writing appeared only 5,000 years ago in Sumer and Ancient Egypt. If we compressed the entire history of Earth (4.5 billion years) into a single day, modern humans (Homo sapiens) would have lived on it for only a few seconds. There is still a long way to go.

Zarathustra taught that life is a precious gift and a duty, intended to foster harmony with nature and advance the world toward perfection through an active struggle against evil by upholding truth, order, and righteousness. This is the purpose of life.

People with emotional and spiritual understanding of life have an advantage in natural selection over the soulless and atheistic. Therefore, humanity will improve over time.

1. Они нуждаются в своем пространстве, еде, воде, воздухе и жилье.

2. Животные общаются с помощью звуков, жестов или сигналов, человеческий язык гораздо более сложен и позволяет абстрактно мыслить и передавать знания.

3. Социальное поведение - объединение в группы- демонстрируется многими видами, включая беспозвоночных, рыб, птиц, млекопитающих и людей. Различные особи объединяются в группы, c хорошо скоординированной социальной системой, целью которoй является поиск пищи, убежища, партнеров, и защиты от хищников.

Приведем несколько примеров социальных организаций.

Термиты являются социальными насекомыми и демонстрируют сложную социальную жизнь. Они живут в колониях с хорошо организованными кастами. Колония термитов содержит три касты — рабочие, солдаты и репродуктивные особи. В пчелиной колонии существуют 2 касты: рабочие (бесплодные самки) и трутни (плодовитые самцы). Королева (плодовитая самка) осуществляет репродукцию колонии.

Некоторые животные образуют группы с четко выраженной иерархической структурой, например волки, койоты, львы, некоторые виды лис и другие.

У иерархических социальных животных доминирующие особи осуществляют контроль над другими, при этом иерархическая структура доминирования выполняется неукоснительнo. Вожаком всегда является альфа-самец — самый сильный самец в группе. Он поддерживает дисциплину и сплоченность группы. Он неуклонно следит за соблюдением ранга членов группы в схеме субординации. Он ест первым, остальные ожидают, когда он насытится. Он не уступает первенство ни в каких действиях группы.

Если вожак погибает, за освободившееся место ведут борьбу его сильные преемники, занимающие место между вожаком и низко ранговыми самцами.

Существует много параллелей в поведении людей и животных, но также и много различий. У людей существуют качественно новые возможности, отсутствующие у животных.

Фундаментальный уровень жизни у людей и животных —материальный. В человеческом обществе кроме материального существует еще 2 уровня – эмоциональный и духовный. Эмоциональная жизнь связана с чувствами и переживаниями, а духовная – с высшими смыслами, ценностями, поиском истины и предназначения.

Материальный уровень

Люди и животные должны обеспечить еду и жильё для себя и потомства. Новорожденных и люди, и животные обучают навыкам необходимым для независимого выживания после того, как они покинут семью.

У животных есть базовый логический ум, позволяющий им найти удобное место для жилья, собрать необходимые материалы для постройки жилища или хотя бы найти приют там, где можно найти пищу.

Материальный уровень человечествa несравненно более высокий. Высший логический ум позволил людям заниматься научными исследованиями, создавать сложныe инструменты, скоростные средства передвижения, лекарства, могущие увеличить продолжительность жизни и так далее, что обеспечило быстрый прирост населения. Число жителей планеты увеличилось с одного миллиардов в 1800 году до 8 миллиардов в 2024.

Эмоциональный уровень

Эмоциональная жизнь —это сфера чувств и переживаний (сочувствие, сострадание, теплота, мягкость, доброта, любовь, но и ненависть, зависть, ревность, гнев, раздражение, презрение, отвращение, враждебность, и т. д).

В русском языке как и в других европейских языках добрый, сочувствующий человек обычно называется душевным, а злой или безразличный — бездушным. Душевный человек проявляет отзывчивое, участливое отношение к чужому горю и чужим переживаниям. Он старается помочь или хотя бы поддержать человека в беде.

Приведу один пример.

Студентка и двое ее коллег были в центре города в Восточной Европе. Вдруг они увидели молоденькую цыганочку и бегущего за ней человека с палкой. “Защитите ее” - сказала студентка своим коллегам. Один из них спокойно сказал: “Зачем? Она, наверное, что-то украла. Не зря же он бежит за ней.” Его друг с ним согласился. Совсем уже близко к ним девочка споткнулась и упала. Студентка в страхе подумала, что сейчас мужчина изуродуют ее или даже убьёт. Студентка закричала изо всех сил. Прохожие остановились. Остановился и бегущий мужчина. Он посмотрел на студентку, на тот ужас и боль, которыe отразились на ее лице, отбросил палку и пошел дальше. Девчушка встала и поковыляла обратно туда, откуда она прибежала. В жизни почти всегда те, кто не помогает, находят объяснения, почему они так поступают, а сочувствующиe бросаются на помощь. Co-чувствие — oсновная характеристика душевного человека. Он чувствует и боль, и радость другиx.

Способность понимания чувств других людей называется в современном мире эмоциональным умом, а не душой, как раньше. Эмоциональный ум отличается от логического тем, что он принимает решения в очень короткий срок. Душевные человек почувствовав ситуацию, сразу же может принять решение. Для логического ума это обычно требует больше времени: надо собрать данные и на их основании принять решение. Иметь эмоциональный ум— большое преимущество. Из этих людей получаются эффективные лидеры. Они умеют вдохновлять, разрешать конфликты и вести людей за собой не через приказы, а через убеждения и общие ценности. Люди, лишенные эмоционального ума редко поднимаются высоко по служебной лестнице.

Из всех человеческих чувств одним из самых сложных и многогранных является любовь. Теме любви посвящены миллионы произведений искусства и всякий раз великие творения находят что-то новое, несказанное раньше.

Древние греческие философы описали несколько видов любви.

1. Эрос (в честь бога любви и плодородия) —это страстное телесное влечение, котороe обеспечивает продолжениe рода как у людей, так и у животных.

2. Платоническая любовь (в честь греческого философа Платона)— это глубокая связь между людьми, основанная на духовном влечении, общности интересов и взаимном уважении, при которой сознательно исключаются физические отношения.

Приведу 2 примера

- Любовь всей жизни русского писателя Ивана Тургенева к французской певице Полине Виардо. Тургенев обожал Полину. Он всегда селился недалеко от её дома, а иногда даже жил в их семье. Он был другом мужа Полины и её дочери.

- Любовь немецкого композитора Йоханнeсa Брамса к пианистке Кларе Шуманн. Когда Брамс встретил Клару, ему было 20 лет, а ей 34. Она была замужем за композитором Робертом Шуманном уже 13 лет и родила ему семеро детей, a через год родился ещё один ребёнок. Роберт умер, когда Кларе было 37 лет. Клара была известной пианисткой. Oна давала концерты, чтобы обеспечить свою большую семью. Брамс влюбился в неё с первой встречи и считал всю жизнь, что Клара воплощает идеал женственности, что она самая лучшая. Брамс никогда не женился. Он всю жизнь помогал Кларе. В свою очередь Клара часто исполняла его новые композиции в своих концертах. Их эмоциональная связь продолжалась до самой смерти Клары. Брамс умер через 10 месяцев после её смерти.

3. Сторге описывает естественную, глубокую родственную связь между членами семьи, например, между родителями и детьми, братьями и сёстрами, и другими родственниками. В основании сторге лежит забота, поддержка и безусловная любовь.

Любовь между родителями и детьми всегда сильная, когда дети маленькие и нуждаются в защите. Когда дети вырастут эта любовь может ослабевать и даже исчезать совсем. Лена, моя знакомая, сказала мне, что её мать просила ee приехать, когда матери осталось жить только 4 месяца. Лена не поехала.

-Почему? —удивилась я. Она дала тебе образование и очень о тебе заботилась.

-Ну и что, - сказала Лена, я дала образование своей дочкe и тоже забочусь о ней. Мы ничего не должны нашим родителям. Посмотри в природе. Родители заботятся о детях в детстве а потом всякие отношения прерываются и и дети даже не знают, где их родители. Долг перед родителями передается от поколения к поколению. Родители моей матери вырастили её, она вырастила меня, я в свою очередь вырастила свою дочку. Таким образом, я отдала свой долг.

Лена конечно же права про отношения детей и родителей в природе. Дети животных не заботятся о своих родителях, потому что им не o ком заботиться. В природе нет стариков: животныe обычно погибают до того, как их способность рожать падает до нуля. Они не нужны, когда не могут воспроизводить себе подобных. Их дети получают инстинкты для проживания при рождении. Старые родители ничего уже не могут добавить.

Не так у людей. Люди живут около 100 лет, в 2 раза дольше, чем возраст их плодовитости. У людей есть свобода выбора. От выбора, a не от инстинктов, полученных при рождении, зависит ход и развитие жизни человека. Старики, накопившие много жизненного опыта, могут помочь юному поколению делать правильный выбор. Старики нужны не только в семье, но и в здоровом обществе. Более молодое общество, без стариков, было бы более агрессивным.

Поэтому у всех больших религии существовала заповедь “уважай своих родителей, заботься о своих родителях в старости”. Во многих странах много веков существовалa точно прописанная система. Обычно старший сын должен был заботиться о своих родителях. Родители в свою очередь оставляли сыну наследство, если у них что-то было. Поэтому в Китае в то время, когда люди имели право иметь только одного ребёнка, были случаи, когда девочек при рождении убивали в надежде, что в следующий раз будет мальчик. В некоторых странах для тех, у кого не было детей, существовалa маленькая церковная помощь, которая не позволяла людям умереть под забором от голода в старости. Современная система пенсий была введена канцлером Германии Отто фон Бисмарком в конце 19 века. Она позволяет работающим, достигнущим пенсионного возраста, жить не намного хуже, чем они жили когда получали зарплату.

4. Прагма это «рассудочная» любовь, основанная на долге, общих интересах и долгосрочной совместимости

Брак между мужчиной и женщиной это эрос + прагма. Крепкий брак строится на взаимном уважении, общении и глубокой эмоциональной связи. “Любовь это 2 телa и одна душа”— говорил Аристотель. Такая любовь описывает счастливый брак. Брак основанный только на эросе, обычно распадается, так как эрос слабеет со временем. Брак тем крепче, чем больше в нем взаимного понимания, уважения, заботы, и поддержки.

5. Филия —этo взаимная, дружеская любовь. В ее основании лежат общие ценности, взаимное уважение, доверие и верность, духовное родство. Она формируется со временем благодаря общему опыту и интеллектуальной связи. Она часто включает в себя глубокие беседы и взаимопонимание, которое не требует физического влечения.

В истории и литературе много примеров филии.

-Шерлок Холмс и доктор Джон Ватсон в рассказах Артура Конан Дойля.

-Горацио и Гамлет в «Гамлете» Шекспира. Горацио остается верным, когда все остальные покидают или предают принца.

- Дамон и Пифий (IV век до н. э.) — Греческая легенда. Оба они придерживались пифагорейского учения и были друзьями. Пифий, приговорённый к смерти за оскорбление тирана Дионисия, попросил ненадолго отпустить его перед казнью, чтобы он мог выдать замуж сестру, и оставил Дамона заложником. Из-за непредвиденных обстоятельств он задержался, и Дамона уже привели на место казни. В последний момент появился запыхавшийся Пифий. Дионисий, поражённый силой этой дружбы, отменил приговор.

6. Агапе —это безусловная, всеобщая, бескорыстная и жертвенная любовь ко всему человечеству, духовная или божественная любовь. В греческой философии и теологии Агапе представляет собой высшую форму любви. Это любовь разума и воли, а не любовь эмоций. Она полностью сосредоточена на потребностях другого человека.

Примеры Агапе

- Классический пример Агапе — это «Добрый самаритянин» из Нового Завета. Самаритянин помогает незнакомцу в беде — человеку, который не может предложить ничего взамен. Это любовь, которая распространяется на всех людей просто потому, что они люди.

- Прощение врага уникальнo тем, что онo не требует, чтобы другой человек нравился. Простить того, кто причинил вам зло — не потому, что он этого заслуживает, а потому, что вы цените его человечность больше, чем свою обиду, — это глубокий акт Агапе, действенный способ превратить врага в друга.

- Общественная работа и волонтерство

- Люди, которые посвящают свою жизнь социальной справедливости, гуманитарной помощи или уходу за неизлечимо больными, часто действуют из Агапе.

- Такие личности, как современные врачи, которые работают волонтерами в зонах боевых действий. Они там из чувства долга любить своего ближнего.

В христианстве Агапе — это любовь, описанная в 1 Коринфянам 13 («Любовь долготерпит, любовь милосердствует...»). Это любовь, которая любит «недостойных любви» и готова страдать ради блага других. Агапе существует, но она довольно редкое явление.

Духовный уровень

Духовность — более глубокое, высшее состояние, связанное с стремлением к идеалу, познанию смысла жизни, самосовершенствованию и связью с чем-то высшим (Богом), выходящим за пределы земного, логического уровня.

Душевный человек добр и сердечен, а духовный — ищет высшую истину и гармонию, принципы добра и зла.

Первобытные люди верили, что мир заселен невидимыми духами, сверхъестественными существами добрыми и злыми; считалось что они активно участвуют в жизни людей. Это были самые первые способы познания окружающего мира и жизни в нем, поиски связи с Высшим Началом.

С развитием человечества, когда люди стали объединяться в города и государства, появились религии, в основе которых лежала общая вера в одного бога или группы богов. Религии давали объяснениe материального устройства мира и отвечали на вопрос, как жить. Религии содержали моральный кодекс, регулирующий человеческое поведение. На основе морального кодекса составлялся свод законов.

Ещё 3000 лет назад пророк Заратустра (по гречески — Зороастeр) , основатель религии Зороастризм сказал, что у человека есть ум и свобода выбора. Этим человек отличается от животных.

Зороастризм строится на противостоянии двух сил: Ахура Мазды (Святого Духа, истины, света) и Ангра-Майнью (Злого Духа, лжи, тьмы). Бог наделил человека разумом и свободной волей, чтобы тот мог осознанно выбирать между Истиной и Ложью, способствовать или процветанию мира, или его разрушению: "Слушайте ушами своими лучше, смотрите ясным разумом на оба выбора для решения за самих себя”.

В отличие от многих других древних учений, где судьба человека предопределена богами или роком, зороастризм утверждает, что человек — это активный союзник Бога (Ахура Мазды) в борьбе против зла. Свобода выбора в Зороастризме реализуется через знаменитую этическую формулу: благие мысли, благие слова, благие дела. Каждое мгновение жизни — это выбор одного из этих элементов.

Свобода выбора неразрывно связана с ответственностью.

- После смерти душа человека предстает у моста Разлучения, ведущего к вечной жизни

- Если человек выбирал путь Истины, мост становится широким и легким

- Если же человек выбирал ложь, мост становится острым как лезвие, и душа падает в бездну.

Таким образом, спасение — это не дар свыше, а прямой результат накопленных выборов самого человека. Идеи Зороастризма стали фундаментом для христианской и исламской этики.

В древнем Египте человек должен был при своём жизненном выборе соблюдать 42 принципa (заповеди) Маат. Богиня Маат олицетворяла космический порядок, истину, справедливость и гармонию.

Богиня Маат проводила посмертный суд. Согласно «Книге мертвых» (2500 BC):

- Сердце умершего (вместилище совести) клали на одну чашу весов

- На другую чашу клали перо Маат.

- Если сердце было отягощено грехами и оказывалось тяжелее пера, его съедало чудовище Аммат. Если же весы замирали в равновесии, человек обретал вечную жизнь,

Перед судом Маат умерший должен был произнести «Исповедь ортицания», подтверждая свою верность 42 принципам богини: я не крал, я не убивал, я не лгал, я не совершaл греха, я ни на кого не клеветал, я не был подслушивающим, я не совращал жену ни одного человека и так далее.

Некоторые из этих 42 принципов вошли в заповеди Моисея.

Таким образом все религии пережившие время, требовали от человека соблюдения моральных законов.

Со временем тема устройства мира перешла к науке. Но ответ на вопрос, как жить оставался и остаётся до сих пор за религиями. В 16 веке Николай Коперник показал,что Земля не является центром вселенной. Ученые установили, что сотворение мира, данное в Ветхом Завете ошибочно. Среди образованных людей появилось много атеистов.

Исаак Ньютон придерживался крайне критического взгляда на атеизм, описывая его как «бессмысленный и отвратительный для человечества». Его противодействие было не просто вопросом веры, а коренилось в его научных наблюдениях за Вселенной, которые, по его мнению, предоставляли эмпирические доказательства существования разумного Творца. Ньютон утверждал, что сложность и математический порядок природного мира делают идею безбожной вселенной логически невозможной. Ньютон не видел противоречия между наукой и верой. Напротив, его научные исследования были путем к пониманию Бога, которого он глубоко почитал, Бога, который был одновременно архитектором и правителем космоса.

Такого же мнения придерживались и великие физики 19 века. Они видели в законах природы прямое подтверждение божественного замысла. Физические константы и точность законов механики служили для них доказательством существования разума за пределами материи.

Майкл Фарадей (1791–1867), первооткрыватель электромагнетизма считал, что книга природы открыта для каждого, кто готов читать её без предубеждений, и видел в законах физики порядок, установленный Творцом.

Джеймс Клерк Максвелл (1831–1879): cоздатель теории электромагнитного поля был убежденным христианином. Он полагал, что молекулы вещества настолько идентичны по своим свойствам, что исключают их случайное или вечное существование и указывает на внешнего Создателя.

Уильям Томсон (Лорд Кельвин) (1824–1907): oдин из основателей термодинамики открыто выступал против материализма. Он заявлял: «Если вы мыслите достаточно сильно, вы будете принуждены наукой к вере в Бога».

Джордж Габриэль Стокс (1819–1903): Президент Королевского общества и выдающийся математик, активно писал о естественной теологии и считал науку и религию гармонично дополняющими друг друга.

Но уже во 2 половине 19 века в науке появились атеисты и агностики. Это было связано с распространением теории эволюции Дарвина.

Когда Джон Тиндаль, известный физик, член королевского общества в одной из лекций провозгласил всевластие физики над душой и разумом, Mаксвелл написал шуточные стихи, посмеиваясь над учеными, которые верили, что всё в мире можно объяснить только движением материи.

Это отрывок из его стихотворения:

“Вначале был Хаос и Тьма, и атомы в вечной игре,

Но разум не нужен был им, чтобы мир зародился в костре.

Из вихря и пыли возникли и горы, и синяя высь,

И всё — лишь столкновения частиц, и нет ни души, ни конца,

Мы — только машины, что бродят без цели и без Творца.

Но если мы атомы просто, и мысль — лишь движения след,

То кто же тогда прочитал нам этот ученый бред?

Как физик, Максвелл понимал, что вероятность того, что из хаоса атомов сами собой возникнут логика и сознание, математически равна нулю. Он считал, что материя подчиняется законам, но сами законы не могут возникнуть из материи.

С развитием фундаментальной науки развивались и прикладные направления. Это привело к материалистическому взгляду на жизнь и на быстрый рост числа атеистов. Когда человек рассматривает только «вторичные причины» (непосредственные научные объяснения того, как всё работает), он может остановиться на этом и предположить, что Бог не нужен. Однако, когда он рассматривает «цепочку» всех причин, связанных между собой, он неизбежно должен понять, что за порядком и красотой Вселенной стоит Божественный Творец. Эта идея принадлежит английскому философу Фрэнсису Бэкону (1561–1626). В своем эссе «Об атеизме», Бэкон писал: «Правда, немного философии склоняет ум человека к атеизму; но глубокое изучение философии приводит умы людей к религии». Такую же идею примерно через 4 века высказал Вернер Гейзенберг (1901–1976), лауреат Нобелевской премии, пионер квантовой механики: «Первый глоток из стакана естественных наук превратит вас в атеиста, но на дне стакана вас ждет Бог». В своей книге «Физика и за её пределами» он писал, что никогда не мог «отвергнуть содержание религиозного мышления» и считал, что наука и религия указывают на один и тот же «центральный порядок».

Все большие, пережившие время религии ставили в центр человеческой жизни иcполнение моральных заповедей и законов: почитай отца своего и мать свою, не убивай, не прелюбодействуй, не кради, не произноси ложного свидетельства, не желай дома ближнего твоего и другие. Aтеисты автоматически отвергли нравственное учение церкви, ее заслуги на моральном поприще, с водой из ванночки выбросили ребёнка.

Знаменитая формула Ф. М. Достоевского: «Если Бога нет, то всё дозволено» является ядром творчества Достоевского. Писатель рассматривает вседозволенность не как свободу, а как психологический и духовный тупик, прямой путь к катастрофе. Если нет высшего суда, то совесть становится лишь биологическим механизмом, который «сильный» человек может в себе подавить.

Этой теме посвящены “Братья Карамазовы”, “Бесы” и “Преступление и наказание”.

В “Братьяx Карамазовыx” атеист Иван Карамазов понимает в конечном итоге, что его формула вседозволенности привела к пролитию крови—смерти его отца.

В романе «Бесы» Фёдор Достоевск показал, к каким катастрофическим последствиям приводит отказ от Бога и моральных устоев. Достоевский рассматривает идеи радикального социализма и анархизма не просто как политические течения, а как духовную «болезнь», которая поражает российское общество. Одной из самых ужасающих идей романа является пророчество о тоталитаризме.

Идеи “Бесов” подтвердились с довольно большой точностью во время захвата власти большевиками в 1917 году в России. Планом либералов, победивших самодержавие в февральской революции 1917 года было установление демократического правления по западному образцу. Но большевики захватили власть и установили в России диктатуру, кровавый террор и отрицание всего святого.

В «Преступлении и наказании» Родион Раскольников пытается ответить на вопрос: имеет ли право выдающаяся личность преступить моральный закон ради «Великой цели»? Он хочет убить «бесполезную, гадкую» старуху-процентщицу, чтобы на её деньги спасти сотни талантливых людей и свою семью. Он хочет встать над моралью, но обнаруживает, что преступая закон, он убивает не «старушонку», а собственную душу.

Время показалo насколько Достоевский был прав.

XX век явился веком расцвета воинствующего атеизма и вседозволенности.

Не соблюдение заповеди Не убей. Великие логические умы ученых с материалистической философиeй изобрели и построили множество высокотехничного оружия: танки, самолёты, подводные лодки, бомбы и другие средства убийства. Они оправдывали себя тем, что служат Великой цели, хотя эти “Великие цели” были разными у разных народов и часто прямо противоположными. Солдаты тоже шли в бой за “Великие цели”. В I мировой войне (1914- 1918) погиблo около 40 миллионов человек, А во II мировой войне (1939-1945) погибло 70- 85 миллионов человек. Кроме того в мире велись разные локальные войны (гражданские, приграничные и так далее), так что было мало дней совсем без войны. По различным оценкам, общее число погибших в результате войн и вооруженного насилия в XX веке (включая мировые войны) составляет от 187 до 231 миллиона человек.

В России после захвата власти большевиками в 1917 году началось тотальнoe разрушениe церквей. Оно преследовало 2 цели: oграбление богатств церкви и борьбу с нравственным учением церкви, противоречащим материалистической, марксистской идеологии. Атеистическоe мировоззрениe считалось единственно верным. В школах детям говорили, что наука давно доказала, что Бога нет и только неграмотные люди верят в Бога. Был установлен государственный атеизм. Государство субсидировалo антирелигиозные кампании, лекции, музеи атеизма и издание литературы. Выжившие религиозные организации ставились под жесткий надзор спецслужб.

После 2 мировой войны государственный атеизм продвигался во всех новых коммунистических государствах Восточной Европы, a также в Китае, Северной Корее, Вьетнаме и Камбодже. В Китае во время культурной революции (1966–1976) хунвэйбины (красногвардейцы) уничтожали храмы, жгли книги, разбивали статуи. Монахов и священников отправляли на «перевоспитание» в лагеря или на тяжелые сельские работы. Храмы, мечети и церкви были разрушены, или превращены в склады, фабрики, скотобойни.

Атеизм в XX веке быстро распространялся и на Западе. К концу века он стал массовым общественным явлением, нормой жизни для миллионов людей.

Ужасы Первой и Второй мировых войн дали атеистам предлог для критики Бога. Вопрос «Где был Бог в Освенциме?» стал центральным для европейской пропагандистской мысли. Таким образом, европейские мыслители отвергли идею свободы выбора и ответственности человека за свой выбор. Они перенесли ответственность за убийствa на Бога. В таком понимании религиозной мысли человек становится пешкой, не имеющeй свободы выбора и не ответственнoй за совершенные злодеяния.

В 20 веке наука стала aтеcтической и всеми средствами боролась против идеи Божественного Творца. Ярким примером этой борьбы является история английского астронома, профессора Кембриджского университета Фреда Хoйла.

Сэр Фред Хойл (1915–2001) был одним из самых влиятельных и неординарных астрофизиков XX века. Его научное наследие включает как фундаментальные открытия, ставшие основой современной науки, так и спорные гипотезы.

Концепция нуклеосинтеза в звёздах была впервые сформулирована Хойлом в 1946 году. Это позволило объяснить существование во Вселенной элементов тяжелее гелия, по сути, показав, что критически важные элементы, такие как углерод, могут образовываться в звёздах, а затем включаться в другие звёзды и планеты, когда эта звезда «умирает». Если сжать всю историю Земли (4.5 млрд лет) до одного дня, то современные люди (Homo sapiens) живут на ней всего несколько секунд. Ещё большая дорога впереди.

Заратустра учил, что Жизнь — это драгоценный дар и долг, предназначенный для того, чтобы люди могли способствовать гармонии с природой и продвигать мир к совершенству в активной борьбе со злом путем поддержания истины, порядка и праведности. В этом цель жизни.

В связи с этим фильмом я расскажу о детстве Владика, моего хорошего знакомого со времен студенчества.

Но вначале немножко истории.

После зимней Финско-Советской войны 1939 - 40 года и II мировой войны Советский Союз присоединил 45,792 квадратных километра финских земель, площадью примерно равной территории Голландии.

Все финское население ушло в Финляндию, оставив большие красивые дома, школы, фабрики и заводы, обеспеченные развитой дорожной сетью и современной инфраструктурой.

Оставленные финские города и деревни заселяли русскими, украинцами и белорусами, а также советскими военнопленными, которых привезли из Германии после окончания войны. Многие из них работали на лесоповале. Военнопленным не разрешалось покидать их поселение, связывается c семьей и сообщать кому бы то ни было, где они живут и чем заняты. В противном случае их ждал ГУЛАГ.

Во время войны погибло 8,7 миллионов советских солдат. По всей России был большой недостаток мужчин, и вдовaм с детьми было очень трудно найти мужчину—отца для своих детей. Но товарищ Сталин о них "позаботился". Было решено, что женщины с детьми могут быть перевезены в поселения с бывшими военнопленными, чтобы создавать новые семьи.

Владик с матерью и братиком жили в Вологодской области. Отец Владика погиб на фронте. Мать завербовалась, чтобы поехать в поселение для бывших военнопленных на ново-присоединённoй финской территории. В их посёлке была только начальная школа. Город, в котором была средняя школа, находился в 7 километрах. При школе был интернат, но у мамы Владика не было денег, чтобы за него платить. Владик со своим другом ходили в городскую школу, каждый день 7 км туда и 7 км обратно. Это было нелегко, учитывая холодные северные зимы с температурами, достигавшими иногда минус 40 градусов Цельсия, снежными бурями и ветрами.

Владик закончил среднюю школу, поступил в Ленинградский политехнический институт, потом защитил диссертацию и преподавал в oдном из ВУЗов Киева.

Он никогда ничего не узнал o бывшей семье отчима. Скорее всего они погибли. Семьи, попавших в плен военнослужащих, лишались на весь период войны денежных пособий и льгот. Кроме того, на Украине в 1946–47 годах был голодомор, унёсший около миллиона жизней. Трудно представить, что в таких условиях жена отчимa Владика смогла прокормить троих детей.

Eльцин (1991-1999) и Путин (1999 - )

Борис Ельцин был избран президентом Российской Федерации 12 июля 1991 года во время правления Горбачева. Это были первые и единственные демократические выборы президентa в истории России. Выборы Ельцина на 2 срок в 1996 году проxодили со многими нарушениями избирательного законодательства, в том числе с фальсифиkaцией результатов голосования. Ельцин “выиграл”, хотя его рейтинг перед выборами составлял всего несколько процентов.

Сразу же после распада Советского Союза Ельцин решил приступить к программе радикальных экономических реформ: перейти от командной экономики к экономике свободного рынка. Вводить рыночную экономику было слишком рано, так как не существовало легальной базы для ее развития. Страна опустилась в анархию. Широко и повсеместно нарушался закон, процветала преступность, происходил передел собственности, при котором государственная собственность переходила к частным лицам. Некоторые из будущих миллиардеров были друзьями Ельцина. Преступной мир стал сращиваться с коррумпированными чиновниками, силовикам и новыми русскими капиталистами. C 1989 года дo 1993 ВВП сократился вдвое. Не выдавали зарплат и пенсий. Народ нищал.

Осенью 1993 года разразился Конституционный кризис. Ельцин объявил о Роспуске парламентa. Парламент в свою очередь отстранил Ельцина от власти за нарушение Конституции. Ельцин вызвал танки для обстрела российского Белого дома (здания парламента). В результате нападения погибли 187 человек и были ранены почти 500. Ельцин начал cворачивать правление на дорогу авторитаризма. С уходом Горбачева насильственная борьба с инакомыслием снова вернулась в Россию.

При первых двух сроках правления Путина (2000–2008) доходы домохозяйств на душу населения в России быстро росли. Они продолжали расти и при Медведеве (2008–2012). Третий президентский срок Владимира Путина (2012 – 2018) начался с больших проблем. Доходы домохозяйств на душу населения начали падать. Падал также и рейтинг Путина.

В конце 2013 года имперская политика Путина подверглась сильному шоку. В Киеве и других городах Украины начался так называемый Eвромайдан—массовые протесты против политики пророссийского президента Виктора Януковича, который отказался подписать Соглашения об ассоциации между Украиной и Европейским союзом. После трёх месяцев массовых протестов в конце февраля 2014 года Янукович бежал в Россию. Новое правительство Украины подписалo соглашение с Евросоюзом в марте-июне 2014 года.

Инакомыслие украинского народа, его желание войти в сообщество развитых демократических стран является одной из главных причин началa войны Путина с Украиной. В марте 2014 Путин аннексировал Крым. Практически это было начало российско-украинской войны, которая длится до сих пор. Российские СМИ переключились с экономических проблем на политические. Рейтинг Путина снова увеличился до 80%.

При жизни Путина Россия будет воевать. У Путина нет другого способа держать население Российской Федерации вместе. Всякий инакомыслящий во время войны может быть объявлен непатриотом, врагом родины и наказан. Война способствует усилению авторитарного режима. Но каждая война — это раковая опухоль на экономике страны.

Как раковая опухоль, военные расходы вытягивают средства из гражданской экономики. Министерство обороны увеличилo военные заказы. Многократно увеличился выпуск оружия и боеприпасов. Всё это происходит за счет ослабления гражданского производства. Оно потеряло много рабочих рук, так как рабочие идут на военное производство и солдатами на войну. В обоих случаях государство платит гораздо больше, чем в гражданке. Российская экономика растет за счет роста раковой опухоли. Лечение раковой опухоли будет дорогостоящим, так как придется восстанавливать все разрушения. А как известно разрушать гораздо легче, чем строить.

Народ беднеет, уменьшается средний класс. По семейному доходу на душу населения Россия занимала в 2019 году 33 место в мире. Доход несколько увеличивался до 2022 года, но уже в 2023 году он резко упал. По данным Росстата на 2022 год водопроводной воды нет у 14% населения, а канализации - у 19%. Горячей воды нет у 25% населения, а у 26% нет ванной или душa, газа нет у 34% домов. Для сравнения, по количеству атомного оружия Россия занимает 2 место в мире, после США, а по расходам на вооружение Россия занимает 3 место после США и Китая.

Eще более опасным последствиeм войны будет уменьшение численности народа. Для этого есть несколько причин: на войне были убиты сотни тысяч россиян, около миллиона бежали из страны из-за боязни военного призыва, а также будет падать рождаемость, вызванная нехваткой молодых мужчин, способных создавать семьи, но не вернувшиxся с фронта.

Во время правления Путина не было ни одного года без войны. Путин продолжал и продолжает вести Россию к высоко централизованному авторитaризму времён Сталина и крепостнической России. За всё время существования Российской империи только 4 правителя ставили своей целью улучшение жизни народа. Все они были устранены правящей верхушкой.

1. Император Павел I (1797–1801). Павел ограничил крепостничество, активно боролся с коррупцией и казнокрадством, ограничил привилегии дворянского сословия, улучшил положение рядовых солдат. Павел ввел серебряный стандарт российского рубля, уменьшил в десять раз расходы на содержание императорского двора, в два раза снизил расходы на флот и сократил армию. Был убит на 5 году правления в результате заговора офицеров. В организации заговора участвовал его сын и наследник Александр I.

2. Император Александр II (1855–1881). О реформах Александрa II я писала выше. Благодаря реформам этого просвещённого правителя Россия по экономическому развитию заняла 5 место в мире. Ни до того, ни после Россия такого высокого уровня не занимала. Интеллектуальная элита России поднялась до мирового уровня. Россия была уважаемым в мире государством. Александр был убит заговорщиками за 2 дня до принятия Конституции. В организации заговора участвовал кто-то из близкого семейного окружения царя, скорее всего это был его сын и наследник Александр III.

3. Никита Сергеевич Хрущев (1953–1964). Хрущев начал процесс десталинизации, уничтожениe “царства топора”. Большевицкая идеологическая и политическая система были ослаблены. Началось уничтожение “железного занавеса”. Было улучшено материальное положение народа. Хрущёв был снят с должности после 11 лет правления.

4. Михаил Сергеевич Горбачёв (1985–1991) Горбачев ввел новыe политическиe и экономическиe свободы. Реформы Горбачева привели к инъекции новых западных технологий во все сферы деятельности. Счеты (абак) были заменены на компьютеры. Производительность труда выросла. Рост цен на нефть и полезные ископаемые позволил России покупать новые технологии. Горбачёв был устранен после 5 лет правления.

Таким образом, все реформы, поднявшие Россию на более высокий уровень, были проведены главами государства.

Приход к власти человека со стороны в авторитарных режимах маловероятен и возможен только в исключительных условиях, то есть в результате революции. что немыслимо в современной России.

Так что русскому народу придется ждать, когда придёт к власти эмансипированный правитель — Патриот, в планы которого будет входить oсвобождение России от коррупции, бедности и бесправия, и улучшениe материальной и духовной жизни народа. Для этого правитель должен создать в стране власть, соблюдающую законы на всех уровнях. Это скорее всего произойдёт после распада Российской империи. Нет сомнений, что она распадется, как распались все другие империи.

Во время распада Советского Союза почти все автономные республики России требовали большей экономической и законодательной независимости, но без требования суверенитета. Только Татарстан и Чечня провозгласили независимость. Татарстан отказался от своих требований после долгих переговоров, а Чечня отказалась после 2 войн. Теперь в состав Российской Федерации входят 24 республики. Следует ожидать, что при новый возможности они потребуют независимости. К сожалению, эти преобразования могут сопровождаться гражданской войной.

The wealth of Russia went to wars and the enlargement of the Russian Empire. The people were all illiterate. "Everywhere ignorance is a murderous disgrace," wrote Pushkin.

The peasants belonging to the landlords were bonded and were practically slaves. They could be bought, sold, beaten to death with rods and exiled to Siberia without any trial. There was no Constitution in Russia, there was complete lawlessness, so corruption at all levels was omnipresent and omnipotent.

The sorrowful hopeless life of the Russian people was depicted in many paintings by Russian artists. I give 2 examples.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Napoleon opened wide the gates of Russia to the West. The Russian officers who reached Paris saw a huge difference in the standard of living and education of the peoples of Western countries and the Russian people.

Russian thinkers began to understand that Russia was on the wrong path, which had no future, and that the political structure of Russia needed to be changed.

In the 1940s and 1950s, two political currents appeared: the Slavophiles and the Westernizers.

Westernizers believed that Russia should follow the Western European path. Slavophiles, on the other hand, argued that it was necessary to look for one's own national Russian idea, conditioned by the history of the country. Despite the differences in philosophical views, both Slavophiles and Westernizers advocated the abolition of serfdom, death penalty, corporal punishment, censorship, and the establishment of a public court with the participation of elected representatives. Finally, in 1861, Tsar Alexander II abolished serfdom, despite the resistance of the landlords and the church. Alexander II carried out several significant reforms. Judicial reform was accomplished, which recognized all citizens as equal before the law. The population received the right to travel abroad, many new newspapers and magazines were opened, and the pressure of censorship decreased. An educational reform was done, new public schools, both humanitarian and real, were opened.

In 1861, at the call of Herzen, the so-called “going to the people” began. It was a broad, mostly unorganized movement of young people: some studied the life of the common people, others organized schools and workshops to teach the peasants literacy and crafts.

But at the same time, an extreme left-wing movement of the revolutionary part of the intelligentsia, the so-called nihilists, appeared and began to develop. It called for a general revolt and the overthrow of the existing system. Nihilists rejected generally accepted values in society, traditional orders, ideals, norms of morality and culture. Nihilists preached destruction. The nihilist Bazarov in Turgenev's novel "Fathers and Sons" says that first it will be necessary to clear the place, and building is no longer their business.

Predictions of the future of Russia

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky

The future of Russia was predicted by the great Dostoevsky (1821–1881) in the novels "Demons" (1871) and "The Brothers Karamazov" (1880). Much of what Dostoevsky spoke about came true during the seizure of power by the Bolsheviks and in the subsequent development of events that lasted almost 100 years and have brought us to the present day.

In the novel "Demons" Dostoevsky presented several directions of the democratic and revolutionary movement in Russia: the older generation - liberals, and the new generation, mainly raznochintsy, - nihilists, atheists and revolutionaries.

The main character of the novel, Pyotr Verkhovsky, is a political ambitionist. Here is his plan for seizing power: "We will proclaim destruction, we will start fires, we will start legends and troubles will begin... Russia will be clouded, the earth will weep for the old gods... The only thing lacking in the world is obedience. We will kill the desire, we will promote drunkenness, gossip, denunciation... All to the same denominator, complete equality... complete obedience, complete impersonality."

The prototype of Pyotr Verkhovensky was the nihilist Sergei Nechaev. In the Catechism of the Revolutionary, Nechayev proposed to use lies, deception, mystification, slander, blackmail, meanness, threats and intimidation, and atrocities, if they lead to the seizure of power. Lenin was his faithful disciple. Lenin called Nechaev "the Titan of the Revolution."

In the novel "The Brothers Karamazov", Dostoevsky further develops the theme of the Demons, their philosophy and their methods of seizing power.

In the novel, the atheist Ivan Karamazov reads his poem about the Grand Inquisitor to his brother Alyosha, a novice of the monastery.

In the poem, the action takes place in the XVI century in Spain during the rampage of the Inquisition. Jesus Christ comes to Seville, where the day before, in the presence of the population, "almost a hundred heretics were burned at once by order of the Cardinal Grand Inquisitor, into the glory of God."

Jesus gives sight to a blind old man and resurrects a dead girl. "The sun of love burns in his heart, the rays of Light, Enlightenment and Power flow from his eyes and, pouring out on people, shake their hearts with reciprocal love."

The Grand Inquisitor, orders the guards to take Jesus, lead him to prison and lock him up. At night, the Grand Inquisitor comes to the prison. He is almost a ninety-year-old man, tall and erect, with a withered face.

The old man tells Jesus that tomorrow he will be condemned and burned at the stake, and that the very people who kissed his feet today will rush to rake the coals to the fire of Jesus at one wave of the old man.

The old man then speaks of Satan's temptation of Jesus during his forty-day fast in the wilderness. The old man calls Satan "a terrible and clever spirit, a spirit of self-destruction and non-existence, a great spirit."

Satan's first question was:

"If you are the Son of God, then tell these stones to become bread," to which Jesus replied, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Matt. 4:3)

The Grand Inquisitor asserts that thousands and tens of thousands will follow Jesus in the name of the bread of heaven, but millions and tens of millions of beings who will not be able to neglect the bread of the earth for the bread of heaven will follow the demons.

The Grand Inquisitor, who has the deepest contempt for man and for human society, explains to Jesus his position and speaks of his future victories. he explains the meaning of the question asked by Satan: "You want to go into the world, and you go with your bare hands, with some vow of freedom, which they, in their simplicity and in their innate disorder, cannot even comprehend, which they fear and dread, — because nothing and never has been more intolerable to them than freedom! And do you see these stones in this naked, red-hot desert? Turn them into bread, and mankind will run after you as a flock, grateful and obedient."

The Grand Inquisitor says that free choice in the knowledge of good and evil is a terrible burden, so "there is no more continuous and painful care for a person than to remain free, to find as soon as possible someone to bow down to and pass on the gift of freedom with which this unfortunate creature is born."

Satan in the wilderness also tempts the faith of Jesus Christ. He says: "Unto thee will I give dominion over all kingdoms and their glory, for it is delivered unto me, and to whom I will give it; therefore, if you worship me, all things will be yours." to which Jesus replies, "Get thee behind me, Satan; it is written: Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve" (Lk. 4:8)

The Grand Inquisitor claims that he, like Jesus, was in the wilderness for 40 days and Satan also tempted him, but the Inquisitor chose a completely different path than the one chosen by Jesus. The Grand Inquisitor bowed down to Satan. And in the future, the whole world will belong to them.

Of the people, the Grand Inquisitor says:

"They are vicious and rebellious, but in the end they will become obedient. They will marvel at us and will consider us gods...

They will overthrow the temples and flood the earth with blood."

The Grand Inquisitor says that it is necessary to go "at the direction of the terrible spirit of death and destruction, and for this to accept lies and deception and lead people consciously to death and destruction, and moreover to deceive them all the way, so that they do not somehow notice where they are being led, so that at least on the road these pitiful blind men consider themselves happy."

The Revolution of 1905 showed that Dostoevsky was right in many ways.

The Revolution of 1905 was a wave of mass political and social protests that swept the entire territory of Russia. The peasants were responsible for the greatest destruction. The rebels looted, burned and destroyed noble houses, set fire to libraries, destroyed works of art, stuffed their carts with looted property. In many provinces, especially in the central regions of Russia, the sky was lit up at night by the fire of noble houses. Almost 15% of the estates of the nobility were destroyed. There was an extraordinary increase in crime and coarsening of morals.

After the Bolshevik seizure of power, Lenin said that the Revolution of 1905 was a dress rehearsal for the events of 1917.

“Milestones”

As a result of the revolution of 1905, the future of Russia and the responsibility of the revolutionary intelligentsia for this future were discussed in the collection of articles "Milestones", published in 1909.

This collection includes articles by N. A. Berdyaev, S. N. Bulgakov, S. A. Izgoev, B. A. Kistyakovsky, P. B. Struve and S. L. Frank. The preface was written by M Gershenzon.

The authors, with the exception of Gershenzon, began their political activity as Marxists, but realized the inconsistency and unrealism of this theory and departed from it. They called themselves critical Marxists, since they reserved the right to freedom of thought, freedom of criticism. They were expelled from Russia after the Bolsheviks seized power. Peter Struve participated in the White movement and after the victory of the Bolsheviks emigrated.

I will retell, and often just quote some ideas from the 'Milestones'.

The entire book is permeated by sorrowful anxiety for the future of the country and doubts about its future. "The Russian Revolution developed tremendous destructive energy, was like a gigantic earthquake, but its creative forces turned out to be far weaker than the destructive ones," wrote S. Bulgakov

The preface states: "The common platform of the authors of the “Milestones” is the recognition of the theoretical and practical primacy of spiritual life over the external forms of social life in the sense that the inner life of the individual is the only creative force of human existence and that it, and not the self-sufficient principles of the political order, is the only solid basis for any social construction."

The ideology of the revolutionary intelligentsia, which rested entirely on the opposite principle, on the recognition of the unconditional primacy of social forms, seemed to the participants of the book to be internally erroneous.

In the 1890s, with the advent of Marxism, the need of the revolutionary intelligentsia for philosophical foundations of social aspirations began to be satisfied by dialectical materialism. Frank characterized Marxism as follows: "Marx's doctrine is a system which, in spite of all the breadth of his scientific construction, is not only devoid of any philosophical and ethical foundation, but even rejects it in principle,which does not prevent it, of course, from actually relying on the crude and unverified premises of materialist and sensationalist faith."

The revolutionary intelligentsia preaching Marxism was not interested in the truth or falsity of existing theories, but only in whether this theory served the interests of the proletariat. Social utilitarianism was a moral dogma. The revolutionary intelligentsia did not understand the significance of objective universal truth. Its program was based on the ideals of materialist socialism and anarchism. This program was declared "scientific."

Revolutionary intellectuals believed that in order to establish an ideal order, it was necessary to expropriate the expropriators, and for this to achieve the dictatorship of the proletariat by destroying political barriers.

"Love for egalitarian justice... paralyzed the love of truth, almost destroyed interest in the truth. The idea of the Grand Inquisitor, who demanded the rejection of truth in the name of people's happiness, was accepted. Philosophy was divided into "proletarian" and "bourgeois", into "left" and "right". "The affirmation of two truths, useful and harmful—these are signs of intellectual, moral, and general cultural decadence... The class science of the Marxists has more in common with a special form of faith than with science," wrote Nikolai Berdyaev.

Almost all of the Russian revolutionary society has become atheistic. The atheism of the revolutionary intelligentsia took militant dogmatic scientific forms, it remained deaf to the religious sermons of Dostoevsky and Leo Tolstoy.

C Bulgakov explained why the fulfillment of Dostoevsky's predictions is possible in Russia and impossible in the West: "The astonishing ignorance of our intelligentsia in matters of religion... has sufficient historical justification... On the many-branched tree of Western civilization, whose roots go deep into history, we have chosen only one branch, not knowing,not wanting to know others, in full confidence that we are instilling in ourselves the most authentic European civilization… It is often forgotten that Western European culture has at least half of its religious roots, built on the religious foundations laid by the Middle Ages and the Reformation. The new personality of European man in this sense was born in the Reformation. Political freedom, freedom of conscience, human and civil rights were proclaimed by the Reformation."

Frank characterized Marxism as follows: "Marx's doctrine is a system which, in spite of all the breadth of his scientific construction, is not only devoid of any philosophical and ethical foundation, but even rejects it in principle,which does not prevent it, of course, from actually relying on the crude and unverified premises of materialist and sensationalist faith."

"Cultural creativity means the improvement of human nature and the implementation of ideal values. On the contrary, culture, as it is usually understood in our country, is entirely marked by the seal of utilitarianism." (C. Frank)

Total permissibility, the proclamation of oneself instead of God, was predicted by Dostoevsky ("If there is no God, everything is permitted") in "Crime and Punishment" and in "Demons".

"I realize my idea and for the sake of it I free myself from the bonds of ordinary morality, I allow myself the right not only to property, but also to life and death of others, if it is necessary for my idea... "Everything is allowed" is simply replaced by unscrupulousness in everything. Nihilism equals amoralism. Hatred corresponds to destruction and is the engine of destruction, just as love is the engine of creativity and strengthening." —S . Bulgakov tells about permissiveness.

In his article "In Defense of Law", Kistiakovsky discusses another painful problem of the Russian people and the state — the extremely low level of legal awareness and the complete lack of rights of the people.

"The legal order is a system of relations in which all persons of a given society have the greatest freedom of activity.”

“The main and most essential content of the legal order is the freedom of the individual and its inviolability.

“The lack of interest in legal ideas in Russia is the result of a long-standing evil—the absence of any legal order in the daily life of the people.”

“Complete inequality before the courts has killed all respect for the rule of law among the people. A Russian, of whatever rank, evades and breaks the law wherever it can be done with impunity, and the government does exactly the same.”

“The Russian Social-Democrats revealed a striking lack of a sense of justice and a complete lack of understanding of the significance of legal truth. They rejected a stable legal order and the constitutional state itself. They proclaimed the slogan that the success of the revolution is the supreme law. The idea proclaimed by the Social Democrats of the rule of force and seizure of power instead of the rule of principles is monstrous.”

“It can be said that in the ideological development of our intelligentsia... not a single legal idea participated. In this respect, the development of Russia is not like the development of other civilized peoples."

The gloomy predictions of the authors came true after the seizure of power by the Bolsheviks.

The Bolsheviks rule

Lenin and Stalin

After the February Revolution of 1917, Lenin came to Russia from his long emigration and began to organize a Bolshevik coup.

Lenin began with a Big Lie. In the summer of 1917, in the event of a Bolshevik victory, he promised the people immediate peace, free land for the peasants, factories for the workers, justice and equality for all. This was what the population of Russia, tired of the chaos of 4 years of war, dreamed of. The people followed the Bolsheviks. As history has shown, Lenin was not going to fulfill these promises at any moment.

In November 1917, the Bolsheviks seized power and began to build the state of demons predicted by Dostoevsky. Later it would be called the "Evil Empire". The Evil Empire was built on lies, lawlessness, injustice, lack of compassion and hatred for all dissenters.

Immediately after seizing power, Lenin officially began to rob the population, signing decrees on nationalization.

The land, with its waters, forests, and mineral resources, was nationalized and became the property of the state (Nov. 8, 1917). Banks were nationalized. Banking was declared a state monopoly (Dec. 27, 1917). The merchant marine, industry and railway transport were nationalized.

Such a robbery happened for the first time in history. Even Ivan the Terrible, seizing the fertile central lands, gave their owners land on the outskirts of Russia.

In May 1918, the right to inherit private property was abolished. All the inhabitants of Russia became equally poor. The source of political independence of the people was destroyed.

The population of Russia throughout its history was free for only 56 years from 1861 to 1917.

Churches were robbed and destroyed. All the property of church and religious societies existing in Russia was declared "national property". The words of the Grand Inquisitor about the power of demons came true: "They will overthrow the temples and flood the earth with blood." Many of the priests were exiled to Siberia, and those few who remained with the surviving churches were obliged to convey what their parishioners said during confession. The world's first atheistic state was being built. In schools, children were told that science had long proved that God did not exist and only old illiterate women believed in God.

Why did the Bolsheviks hate religion so much? Religions, starting from ancient civilizations, have always set a moral framework for behavior based on eternal truths. Back in Egypt, more than 25 centuries BC, there were 42 commandments - 42 principles of the goddess Maat, who personified Truth, Justice and Ethical Norm. To enter the afterlife. the soul of the dead had to account to the gods for his deeds on earth and for the fulfillment of the principles of Maat. "Behold, I have come to thee, Lord of Truth; I brought the truth, I drove away the lies. I did not do unjust to people. I have done no evil" – this is how an Egyptian who wanted to enter into eternal life began his confession to God.

The code of the Sumerian king Hammurabi was compiled in the XVIII century BC. The sculptural monument that has survived to this day depicts King Hammurabi, who received laws from the hands of the God Sun, that is, God taught people how to live properly.

The moral laws of all times have said: do not kill, do not steal, do not covet your neighbor's house, do not bear false witness, etc. Christianity added the commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Christianity also illuminated the great significance of the Truth in people's lives. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ pronounces the word Truth 26 times. In the Gospel of John and in his letters, the word Truth is mentioned 47 times.

Internal terror

In December 1917 Lenin created a machine of internal terror, the Extraordinary Commission (Cheka). The Cheka notified the population "that 'counterrevolutionaries' would be 'mercilessly shot by Cheka detachments at the scene of the crime'. What was required to shoot a person without trial on the spot? Not much - just to declare him a counter-revolutionary. The Chekists could shoot arrested and suspected persons at their own discretion. No proof was required. No one has been punished or convicted for the murder of innocents. As Kistiakowski predicted in "Milestones", the Bolsheviks completely destroyed the legal branch of the state.

Thus, the old, obvious commandment "Thou shalt not kill" was not recognized by the Bolsheviks. If it is allowed to kill, then you can kill, just as you can be killed. This is what happened to the Bolsheviks. Many of those who, after the revolution and during collectivization, killed people without any trial, were themselves killed in 1937-8, either as a result of a false trial, or without trial, according to the execution lists.

N.V. Krylenko, People's Commissar of Justice of the USSR, explained the essence of the Bolshevik state as follows: "adherence to only one law – the law of political expediency. We find it necessary – and shoot them." Krylenko was shot in 1938

N. Bukharin wrote in 1920: "Proletarian coercion, from shootings to labor service, is a method of developing communist humanity." After his arrest in 1938, Bukharin said: "I feel my helplessness before the infernal machine, which ... has gigantic power, fabricates organized slander, acts boldly and confidently. … At present, most of the so-called organs of the NKVD are a degenerated organization of unprincipled, decayed, well-to-do officials, ... who, in pursuit of orders and glory, do their heinous deeds, not realizing that they are destroying themselves at the same time." Bukharin was shot at the Kommunarka shooting ground in the Moscow region and buried there.

During the years of the Great Terror of 1937-38, 682,000 of "old" communists were shot. They had led the revolution, but later became undesirable to the Stalinist elite. They were shot according to the legal theory of the Bolsheviks on the basis of the "law of political expediency."

The State Security Service (GB) changed its names over time—the Cheka, the GPU, the NKVD, the KGB, and the FSB. Its responsibility included ensuring the security of the leadership of the party and government, preserving the existing system, as well as combating dissent and anti-Soviet activities.

The Bolsheviks called the state they created the dictatorship of the proletariat, but in fact it was a terrorist state that used lies and violence to achieve the goals of the ruling group.

The ruling and only party was the Communist Party. It "elected" the Central Committee, which in turn "elected" the Politburo. The Politburo consisted of several people, which was chaired by the top officials of the Communist Party - Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev. Brezhnev and so on. They had absolute power. Members of the Politburo held key leadership positions in the political and executive branches.

In fact, there were no elections. The Politburo and the Organizational Bureau compiled nomenclature lists of leading positions, and those Party Members who should occupy these positions. This was the highest level of party and economic leaders. In elections, only one candidate was proposed for any position. Usually 99% of the population voted for him, at least that's what was announced after the elections. KGB officers checked all the ballots. If they found a lot of votes against, they still declared a 99% win, and after the elections, the KGB tried to determine by the handwriting of those who voted against. The latter were exiled to the Gulag.

"We have convinced Russia. We have reconquered Russia... We must now rule Russia," Lenin said in 1918.

To manage the deceived Russian people, a leading class, the nomenklatura, was created.

The duty of the nomenklatura was to execute the directives of the Politburo. The personnel nomenclature policy began in 1923 and was finally formed under Stalin. "People who know how to carry out directives, who can understand directives, who can accept directives like their own, and who know how to put them into practice,"— this is how Stalin described them. No initiative was required, only execution. Complete impersonality, "complete obedience," as Pyotr Verkhovensky said in "Demons."

Social organization

Marxist-Leninist theory asserted that the social structure of the socialist society consisted of workers and peasants and a stratum—the intellectuals. Marx called intellectuals the stratum, since they came from different classes of society.

In fact, in the Bolshevik state, the population was divided into 2 classes and stratum:

1. ruling class — nomenclature

2. workpeople — workers in factories and plants, peasants and employees (teachers, doctors, engineers, scientists, and so on).

3. new stratum of the "Soviet intelligentsia" that was spreading the ideas of the ruling elite to the masses.

In Russia, in the 19th century, people who received education were divided into two groups: intellectual workers and the intelligentsia. The main characteristic of the intelligentsia was a high intellectual, moral and ethical culture. According to this definition, the "revolutionary intelligentsia" and the "soviet intelligentsia" were not intelligentsia, since they did not have a moral and ethical culture.

Nomenclature

The concept of the class of the party nomenclature was introduced by Mirosław Dzhilos in his book "The New Class" (1957)

The nomenklatura class lived as "under communism". The slogan of communism was "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". Each nomenklatura person received according to his needs from the state feeder. They had their own shops, hotels, holiday homes, large apartments with housekeepers, limousines with a chauffeur. They had Western medical care. They could travel abroad. Their women flew to Paris to buy a dress, perfume or do their hair.

The compilation of nomenclature lists led to great corruption at the top, in the republics and at lower levels. There, the party kinglet usually chose friends, relatives and devoted careerists who served him faithfully in order to have access to the state trough.

The nomenklatura did everything to preserve their material position, otherwise they flew from the height of the material peak into the abyss to the working people.

Workpeople

The words trud (work) and trudnyy (difficult) have the same root in the Russian language, and the same root has the words rabota (work) and rab (slave). These words have a negative connotation, indicating the attitude of the Russian people to work, due to Russian history. With the exception of a short period after the abolition of serfdom, the people's labor was forced.

The largest group of workers were collective farmers. They made up 82 percent of the population from 1914 to 1926. In 1939, their percentage decreased to 67, and in 1957 peasants made up 50% of the population.

Life in collective farms was difficult and poor. Collective farmers did not receive money. In autumn, after the harvest, the collective farmers were paid part of the harvest, which remained after the collective farm paid the tax to the state. Many collective farms did not have enough funds to pay the tax and they remained debtors from year to year. In this case, the collective farmers were not paid anything, and they lived on what they received from their personal plot, which was 20-30 acres. In addition, collective farmers were allowed to have one cow, one pig, and a dozen chickens. This was not enough to survive, so they stole from collective farms. Under Stalin, prison sentences were given for stealing collective farm goods, but after Stalin's death, theft became widespread.

The peasants were bonded. After the collectivization of agriculture, peasants for the labor were prescript to the collective farms in which they worked. Collective farmers did not have passports and no identity cards. They had the right to move only within their district. To visit relatives in another district or region, it was necessary to ask permission from the chairman of the collective farm. The collective farm issued a certificate permitting a trip for a maximum of one month, only to the city or village where relatives lived. In the summer, during intense agricultural work, such certificates were not issued. The country's leaders were afraid that the collective farmers would flee as soon as they received their passports. In 1974, serfdom ended, collective farmers were issued passports, but city organizations were forbidden to hire collective farmers. It was only in 1981 that the rural population was allowed to work in the cities. After that, only old women remained in the collective farms.

Urban workers did not live much better than collective farmers. Often the family occupied one room in a communal apartment. Many lived in barracks. But urban workers had more freedom, they had passports that allowed them to move around the Soviet Union, although this freedom was relative due to the existence of a residence permit. When the law on registration was introduced, everyone was registered where he lived. Cities with good supplies such as Moscow, St. Petersburg (Leningrad), as well as the capitals of the republics and other large cities were closed. It was almost impossible to register legally in these cities. Those who wanted to register in closed cities paid large bribes, unbearable for workers, formalized fake marriages or found other loopholes.

According to the State Statistics Committee of the USSR, the average monthly money salary of workers and employees in the USSR increased from 33.1 rubles in 1940 to 80.6 rubles in 1960 and 122.9 rubles in 1970.

Thus, in 1940, the average salary of workers was 33.1 rubles. At the same time, workers in industry received an average of 34 rubles per month. In the field of public education, the average monthly salary was 33.7 rubles, and in health care - 25.5 rubles.

Propaganda from the very beginning said that the next generation would live under communism, that is, the entire population would live as the nomenklaturists live. It was a pure lie. Generation after generation passed, but the standard of living practically did not improve. The carrot was kept away from the donkey.

Improving the lives of the working people has never been part of the state's plans. The state allocated to the population the minimum that was necessary for the reproduction of the labor force.

According to Marxist-Leninist theory, industrial production was divided into groups A and B. Group A was called "production of means of production". It included mining, heavy, metallurgical, chemical and other types of industry, which make up the so-called Military-Industrial Complex (MIC). Group B - "production of consumer goods for the population" included light and food industries.

In planning, the main assets went to the military-industrial complex, and group B was left with the minimum that was necessary to workers survival. This ratio has changed little over time, since the state has always been interested in the success of the military-industrial complex and the main funds were spent on its development.

Industrial goods for the population were of low quality and always in short supply.

This was the case under Stalin, when the Iron Curtain was impenetrable and people did not know what was over the hill, and those few who knew could not say anything, because otherwise the Gulag awaited them.

Soviet intelligentsia

The pre-revolutionary intelligentsia did not accept the dictatorship of the Bolsheviks. The intelligentsia exposed lies, the foundation on which the Bolshevik ideology was built. Immediately after seizing power, the Bolsheviks began to persecute the intelligentsia with the aim of completely destroying it. Lenin said that the intelligentsia are accomplices and lackeys of the bourgeoisie, shit.

Many remarkable figures of Russian philosophy, culture and science emigrated. It was a forced emigration.

Very famous ones were sent abroad on the so-called "philosophical steamships". The names of outstanding representatives of Russian culture who left Russia can be found in the article "WhiteEmigration".

I will list only a few names. That was the Russian flower of world culture.

Russia lost from one to 2 million highly educated people – not only humanitarians, but also technical specialists. The children of intellectuals who remained in Russia were not allowed to enter higher educational institutions in order to eradicate the intelligentsia.

After the Bolshevik coup, the "old" creative intelligentsia made literary associations. Their goal was to provide material assistance to starving writers, as well as, if possible, assist in organizing lectures, concerts, and publishing work. They were supposed to preserve the traditions of the Great Russian literature and protect the legal and material interests of writers. M. Gorky, A. Blok, N. Gumilev, K. Chukovsky, A. Kuprin, E. Zamyatin and others took part in the creation and work of these creative associations.

In 1932, all creative associations of the "old" intelligentsia were liquidated.

Strict censorship was introduced, which did not allow any criticism of the Bolshevik ideology. But this was not enough, it was necessary to praise the existing order. They printed large editions and paid a lot of money to everyone who praised the existing system and its leaders.

Unions of writers, composers, artists, and other "creative" unions were formed. Their purpose was to compose works about the heroic struggle of the international proletariat and the victory of socialism. The authors were supposed to reflect the great wisdom and heroism of the Communist Party and its leaders.

The creative method of "socialist realism" was obligatory for all the arts. The method of "socialist realism" required the dissemination of a materialistic and atheistic worldview, an idealized depiction of the life of a prosperous and happy society, as well as the praise of achievements leading to a rich and happy life.

Following the method of socialist realism was a prerequisite for membership in all creative unions. Membership provided access to the feeding trough. The state gave orders, sent on creative trips, organized exhibitions, gave prizes and orders. Began the creation of a social layer of propagandists — "accomplices and lackeys" of the nomenklatura, to paraphrase Lenin.

Lies poured on the heads of Russians, because the state paid only for lies. The truth did not interest the feeders. I will give just one example. There have been at least 2 Holodomors in Ukraine and surrounding areas, one during collectivization and the other after the war. Millions of people died, but there was not a single artist who would dedicate his works to this tragedy. Artists were materialists and did not want to know anything about the truth, about love for one's neighbor and sympathy for the grief of others. The feeder was above all. Persons belonging to creative unions were propagandists. The basis of their works was lies. Throughout their existence, creative unions have not produced a single great writer, artist or composer equal to those that Russia has given the world in the 19th and early 20th century.

Immediately after the Bolshevik Revolution, there was still an old intelligentsia who had gone through school before the revolution. Usually its representatives came from intelligent families. Not all of them were able to emigrate. Here are a few names of intellectuals who continued to create, often in very difficult conditions:

Iron Curtain

After the revolution, Russia immediately began to close its borders, which eventually led to the construction of an impenetrable iron curtain.

As early as December 1917, the "Instruction to Commissars at the Border Points of the Russian Republic" was issued, requiring that all those traveling abroad, both foreign and Russian citizens, have the appropriate foreign passports with photographs of their holders, certified by proper seals, and those leaving Russia must have exit visas—special permits from the foreign department of the Commissariat for Internal Affairs or from the Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. It was not allowed to take valuables, precious metals, stones, jewelry, weapons, and a large amount of money. All this was subject to confiscation. All the property left in the country by the escaped families was confiscated.

The construction of the curtain was completed in 1934. The law stated that escape abroad was equated to treason and was punishable by the highest criminal punishment - execution by firing squad with confiscation of all property, while the prisoner's family was sentenced to exile to Siberia to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The construction of the Iron Curtain was necessary for the authorities to survive.

The Bolsheviks, having seized power, were confident that the world revolution would begin in the near future.

Even the Grand Inquisitor said that if you give bread, then all of humanity will run like a herd, grateful and obedient, and finally unite into an indisputable collective and harmonious anthill.

Karl Marx spoke about this in his Communist Manifesto (1848) when he put forward the slogan "Proletarians of all countries , unite!"

The Comintern, created in 1919, discussed the victory of the world revolution. Lenin said in his concluding speech: "The victory of the proletarian revolution throughout the world is assured. The foundation of an international Soviet republic is coming." This idea was also confirmed by the coat of arms of the Soviet Union: on the globe there is a sickle and hammer - the symbol of the Bolshevik Party.

But this did not happen, as the authors of "Milestones" predicted. Europe did not follow the communists.

In Europe, in the second half of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, a middle class appeared and multiplied. Middle-class families tend to have their own homes, have the opportunity to educate their children, save for retirement, and have enough money to travel and participate in cultural activities. At the same time, the number of the poor decreased, that is, those about whom the Grand Inquisitor said that they would run like a flock after demons who would promise them bread.

S. Frank described Europe in the following way in "Milestones": "The objective, intrinsically valuable development of external and internal conditions of life, the increase in material and spiritual productivity, the improvement of political, social and everyday forms of communication, the progress of morality, religion, science, art, in a word, the multilateral work of raising collective existence to an objectively higher level - such is the vital and powerful in its influence on the minds the concept of culture, which inspire the European."

In comparison with Europeans, the Russian people were poor, illiterate, lawless and backward. He believed the promises of the Bolsheviks. Thus, the predictions of the Grand Inquisitor in this case came true. The same happened after World War II with other poor peoples: China, Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia. In these countries, the communists won.

Europe was recovering quickly after the First World War. Technological advances have facilitated the production and distribution of goods on a mass scale, which has led to an overall improvement in life. Europe reached the pre-war level as early as the mid-1920s, while the Soviet Union reached this level in 1932 according to Soviet statistics but in fact later.

It was necessary to tightly close the borders so that the population could not flee to the West, and also to believe communist propaganda that life in the Soviet Union was the happiest and richest.

Creating a New Man

In pre-revolutionary Christian culture, children in schools and families were taught moral values such as truth, faith, hope, love, forgiveness and reconciliation, kindness, gentleness, empathy, loyalty, joy, and others that help a person make a choice between good and evil.

Christian ethical principles contradicted communist "morality." Therefore, the communists began to preach the idea of creating a "new man." Nikolai Bukharin, whom Lenin considered the most educated communist, said that people should be turned into such "living machines that would be guided in all their actions by new principles" and "a new proletarian ideology." The communists needed human robots, capable and organized, carrying out orders from above. It was necessary to achieve "complete obedience." This was difficult to do with people who had been brought up in Christian culture before the revolution.

Children are a completely different matter. The child does not have any knowledge, and he does not have the opportunity to check what he heard. The child is defenseless against propaganda. It was decided to start creating a "new man" from school and even preschool age.

Minister of Education Anatoly Lunacharsky, addressing the IV All-Russian Congress on Preschool Education, said that "a small child of preschool age can be molded, a schoolchild-child can be bent, a young man can be broken, and an adult can only be corrected by the grave. If we miss this preschool age, then the person already freezes, ossifies. The most important, the most basic upbringing, which leaves a mark for life, is preschool upbringing." Ideological education divided into age groups:

5–9 years old — Octobrists
9–14 years old — pioneers
14–28 years old — Komsomol members (members of the Communist Youth League)
The goal of ideological education was the readiness to fight for the victory of the ideas of the Communist Party and its leaders at any cost, that robbing, informing, killing is permissible and even praiseworthy, if they serve this purpose. The ideal of education was a hard worker and a warrior, disciplined and obedient to the authorities. As Pyotr Verkhovensky said - complete obedience, complete impersonality.
In 1931, at the height of collectivization, twelve-year-old pioneer Pavlik exposed his father, who helped exiled dispossessed peasants leave their village, and also informed the investigating authorities about neighbors and relatives who hid grain from the state. Monuments to Pavlik were erected for educational purposes in many cities and pioneer camps of the Soviet Union. An attempt was even made to make a film about his life.
Komsomol members were an example to follow was Pavka Korchagin, a young revolutionary, a participant in the civil war, the hero of Nikolai Ostrovsky's book "How the Steel Was Tempered" A quote from this book should have been known to every schoolchild: "The most precious thing in a person is life... and it must be lived in such a way that it is not excruciatingly painful for the aimlessly lived years... And so that, dying, he could say: all his life and all his strength were given to the most beautiful thing in the world—the struggle for the liberation of mankind." The idea was propagated that the Russian people have the right and even the duty to decide the fate of all humanity.
No deviation from the official ideology was allowed. Everything was forcibly and precisely scheduled, like at a parade.
"The clichés of forced thinking, and not thinking, but dictated reasoning, daily shoved through the magnetic throats of the radio, reproduced in thousands of twin newspapers, weekly notes for political study circles, have disfigured all of us, left almost no intact minds," Solzhenitsyn wrote in the samizdat collection From Under the Rubble (Collection of Articles, Part 1)
The value system of the new man – atheist, materialist and soldier, created by the Bolsheviks, was passed down from generation to generation. School teachers who had been brainwashed as children continued to brainwash their students because they knew nothing else.

N. S. Khrushchev (1953–1964)

Brezhnev (1964–1982) and others (1982–1985)

After Stalin's death in 1953, Khrushchev came to power. Three years later, in 1956, Khrushchev read a report on the crimes of Stalin and his entourage at the 20th Congress of the Communist Party. Political prisoners of the Gulag were released and many were rehabilitated for lack of corpus delicti. The pressure of censorship was reduced. With this, Khrushchev "cut a window" in the Iron Curtain, marking the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union. People saw the lies of Soviet propaganda, which said:

"The sunniest and brightest

The whole Soviet land has become.
Stalin's abundant harvest
Collective farm fields are expanding...

The Soviet country is famous for songs
of love and abundance."

In fact, no one glorified the Soviet country, there was no love and abundance, and there was backwardness and poverty all around.

Khrushchev's report was an unexpected bombshell not only for the inhabitants of the Soviet Union, but also for those abroad. Mao Zedong, having established a dictatorship similar to Stalin's, did not agree to abandon his "successes". He broke off relations with the Soviet Union. North Korean dictator Kim Il Sung has followed Mao Zedong's example. In these countries, oppositionists who fought to change the Stalinist foundations of political life were shot publicly in stadiums.

In 1956, revolutions took place in the Eastern European countries, Hungary and Poland.

The bloody revolution in Hungary against the communist government, thanks to the introduction of Soviet troops, ended in defeat and large emigration, practically the flight of the population from the country. The revolutionary anti-government uprisings in Poland were less bloody and led to more profound changes. The slogans of the uprising were: "Bread!", "Freedom!", "God!", "Down with communism!". The collectivization of the peasants became optional, freedom was given to the Catholic Church. Khrushchev gave the go-ahead for the liberalization of the political course in the country and the replacement of the Stalinists with reformers in the country's leadership.

In other Eastern European countries, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, and the East Germany, there were also mass unrests." In Germany, Soviet troops were used on June 17, 1956, to suppress protests that swept the entire country . A state of emergency was declared in Berlin and almost throughout the country.

Cultural changes have taken place. Stalin's screws, tightened to the limit, were loosened under Khrushchev—the so-called "thaw" began. For truthful works, writers were no longer shot or exiled to camps. Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote a true story about the life of prisoners, "One Day of Ivan Denisovich." It was published with Khrushchev's permission.

For the Soviet Union, the Khrushchev thaw was a peaceful revolution from above. The material provision of citizens has improved. Extensive construction of separate apartments began for the population, who lived in communal apartments and in barracks. In the villages, electrification and improvement of the material and technical base took place. Travel abroad was allowed.

Going abroad was everyone's dream, but it was difficult to get a ticket for such a trip. A lot of documents and permits were required, as well as a medical examination and an interview before the trip, where the person was told how to behave and what he could and could not do and say abroad. The Soviet group was usually accompanied by a KGB officer who, upon arrival home, reported on the behavior of the group members, and if he wrote something bad about the tourist, he never received permission to travel again. At the same time, the tourist was never told what he was accused of.

During the 10 years of Khrushchev's rule, about 3-4 percent of the population received permission to travel to other countries, mainly Eastern Europe.

On these trips, clothes and shoes were usually bought. A Moscow ballerina recounted in her memoirs that before their theatre began touring abroad, the artists would buy Western outfits for a lot of money from those who had already been able to go there. Later, when their theater was already touring in other countries, the theater employees saved money by eating canned food for dogs and cats. With the money saved in this way, it was possible to bring Western gifts to the family. Clothes and shoes showed a person's status in society. If a student came to school wearing Western sneakers, the attitude of his colleagues and teachers towards him would change. He became special, belonging to the top of society. Therefore, in Russia then and until now, people were and are judged by their clothes. Clothing indicates to which class a person belongs.

During Khrushchev's rule, society began to change gradually. Elder people, who studied before the revolution, for the most part, have already passed away because of their age. Now the basic laws of the new atheistic and materialistic society created by Stalin were gaining strength.

Materialistic and atheistic post-revolutionary education led to all-round immorality.

Theft became ubiquitous. They stole everything they worked with: food, fabrics, spare parts for cars, and so on. There was nothing in the entire Soviet Union that was not stolen.

Corruption became endemic. Everything could be bought and sold. You could buy a place in a higher educational institution, buy grades, buy an amnesty, pay a bribe to publish poems or stories. What the authors of the Milestones spoke about came true.

The black market and the shadow economy developed. Dollars were banned. But dollars were needed for the development of the shadow economy. Therefore, shadow services for the exchange of dollars for rubles have appeared, in parallel with the state ones. With dollars, shadow entrepreneurs bought consumer goods in the West, copied them and reproduced in large quantities. For successful production, industrial areas, machine tools, as well as trucks and wagons for transporting raw materials and goods were needed. All this was bought from party leaders for bribes. Nomenclature was actively involved in many economic crimes. Shadow entrepreneurs and nomenklatura used the accumulated money to buy enterprises during the sale and plundering of Russian wealth in the 90s. As an example, seven of the new billionaires were Komsomol leaders, one of them was Khodorkovsky.

In science and technology, the theft of Western achievements has become almost the main source of development. In 1966, at a meeting of the Academy of Sciences, it was decided that the allocated money would be used to copy the American Electronic Computer IBM-360, but not to develop country's computer technology.

The Soviet intelligentsia changed little. The younger generation of poets and writers grew up in the Soviet school and believed in Bolshevik slogans. In addition, belonging to the Writers' Union brought material security.

But there were a few exceptions.

"Samizdat" appeared - an independent publishing of works banned by censorship, written by hand or typed. Unfortunately, their circulation was very small in comparison with the circulation of the official lies of the Writers' Union.

There was a strong movement to allow the resettlement of Jews in Israel. It was supported by the West both financially and by the media. This movement was well documented. There were also national movements in almost all the republics.

But the protest movement for human rights was weak.

This movement put forward several outstanding personalities: the writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the academician Andrei Sakharov, the philosopher Alexander Zinoviev, writers Vladimir Bukovsky, Andrei Amalrik, and others.

Solzhenitsyn in his essay "Living Not by Lies" showed that since the Soviet official ideology is based on lies, "the simplest, most accessible key to our liberation is personal non-participation in lies!" Solzhenitsyn was too optimistic about the capabilities of the Russian people. His appeal referred to employees, whose wages could depend on the number of lies, but it did not affect the interests of workers and peasants who received wages for the fulfilled norm. And they were the majority. They believed in what they had been taught in school, since they had no other information. They believed that the Soviet Union was a great power that had the right to determine the fate of the world.

When Russian troops entered Czechoslovakia in 1968, only 7 people protested on Red Square. They unfurled slogans such as "Long live a free and independent Czechoslovakia!", "Shame on the occupiers!", "Hands off Czechoslovakia!". A few minutes later, they were arrested. Their posters were declared defamatory. Two of the demonstrators were sent to a psychiatric hospital for compulsory treatment. The rest were given various terms. Soviet radio claimed that 100% of the population supported the entry of Soviet troops into Czechoslovakia. And it was true: 7 people out of 237 million were a very small percentage and could be neglected, which is what Soviet radio did.

In 1969, a book-essay by Andrei Amalrik "Will the Soviet Union Survive until 1984?" was distributed in samizdat. The book predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union as a result of the war.

Andrei Amalrik turned out to be a clairvoyant. His predictions were detailed and accurate, except for one deviation. The book discussed a possible war with China. In fact, the impetus for the collapse of the Soviet Union was the almost 10-year war with Afghanistan (1979-1989).

The Soviet pioneers sang: "Boiling, mighty, invincible country." In reality, the Soviet Union could not defeat the mujahideen and withdrew its troops from Afghanistan in 1989, thus admitting defeat.

The war required great expenses. The Soviet economy was in stagnation. This led to major shortages of food and essential items. The common people were getting poorer. People stood in line for all the goods for many hours. It was necessary to change the system.

Mikhail Gorbachev (1985–1991)

The old government understood the need for change. In 1985, Mikhail Gorbachev was elected, who began glasnost and perestroika. Censorship was abolished. The restructuring of the economy was conceived as a process of accelerating development and integrating the country into the world community. This process required long time due to the lack of personnel who knew the market economy and finance.

The old nomenclature did its best to keep the system as long as possible in order to have access to the trough. But a new force appeared and developed in the country - the shadow economy, which had grown together with part of the nomenklatura elite. Later they were called "new Russians". They needed more freedom, more ties to the West, and access to the country's natural resources.

On his way to democracy, Gorbachev found himself between two fires: on the one hand, the nomenklatura, fighting to preserve the system that provided it with a rich life, and on the other hand, the "new Russians" were trying to crawl out of the shadows into the light, that is, to move from the shadow economy to the market economy. The "new Russians" won.

None of these groups thought about the welfare of the people. Russia was plundered. The gap between rich and poor has become the highest in the world.

In 1989, the Brezhnev Doctrine was abolished. The doctrine stated that the USSR had the right to interfere in the internal affairs of the communist states of Eastern Europe, including by military means. Now to the states of Eastern Europe were returned sovereignty, they could decide their own fate. In all these countries, new Constitutions were adopted in 1989-1990. Human rights, the inviolability of private property, civil liberties, a multi-party system, free elections to parliament, separation of powers and an independent judiciary were affirmed.

The transition to Western-style democracy was carried out. West Germany was united with East Germany. All these countries joined the European Union. 116 million people were freed. These changes took place painlessly and with the mass participation of the population, who lived in democracies before the war and knew what law and freedom were.

The collapse of the Soviet Union began at the same time. Gorbachev's plan was to create a Federation of equal sovereign republics in place of the Soviet Union. In the referendum, 76% voted for this plan. It was the right plan for the time. The economies of the republics were closely intertwined, and it took time to weaken these ties and give the republics greater economic independence. These changes had to take place within the framework of existing laws.

But the soviet republican elites sought the formation of new sovereign states with their own constitutions, which took precedence over union laws. The legal system of the Union was thus weakened, which led to its collapse (December 1991). 15 sovereign states were formed on the basis of 15 republics of the Union. The state sovereignty of the Russian Federation was adopted on June 12 1990, and provided for the supremacy of Russian legislation in relation to the Union.

To date, 7 of these states are democratic: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia, and 8 authoritarian: Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. 74 million people lived in the soviet republics that became democratic. In total, 190 million people were freed under Gorbachev (74 million in the soviet republics plus 116 million in Eastern European countries). No ruler in history has achieved such success in the liberation of people. Time magazine called Gorbachev the man of the decade.

Yeltsin (1991-1999)

Boris Yeltsin was elected President of the Russian Federation on July 12, 1991 during Gorbachev's rule. It was the first and only democratic presidential election in the history of Russia. Yeltsin's election for second term in 1996 was fraught with many violations of electoral legislation, including falsification of voting results. Yeltsin "won", although his rating before the elections was only a few percent.

Immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Yeltsin decided to embark on a program of radical economic reform: to move from a command economy to free-market economy. It was too early to introduce a market economy, since there was no legal basis for its development and no specialists in market economy. The country descended into anarchy. The law was widely everywhere violated, crime flourished, and there was a redistribution of property, in which state property was transferred to private individuals. Some of the future billionaires were friends of Yeltsin. The criminal world began to merge with corrupt officials, security officials and new Russian capitalists. From 1989 to 1993, GDP was halved. Salaries and pensions were not issued. The people were impoverished.

In the autumn of 1993, the Constitutional Crisis broke out. Yeltsin announced the dissolution of the parliament. The parliament, in turn, removed Yeltsin from power for violating the Constitution. Yeltsin called in tanks to shell the Russian White House (parliament building). As a result of the attack, 187 people were killed and almost 500 were injured.

Yeltsin began to turn his rule onto the road of authoritarianism. . With the departure of Gorbachev, violent fight against dissent returned to Russia.

The Russian people needed bread, not democracy and freedom, which they did not understand. The chaos of rule under Yeltsin was called "democracy" by the people, in contrast to the "order" in the Soviet Union. For most people brought up in Soviet schools, the word "democracy" was a dirty word.

Putin (2000 - )

During Putin's first two terms in office (2000–2008), household income per capita in Russia grew rapidly. I co_speechnotes_plugin_fab_id:131,350 t continued to grow under Medvedev (2008–2012). Vladimir Putin's third presidential term (2012–2018) began with major problems. Household income per capita began to fall. Putin's rating also fell.

At the end of 2013, Putin's imperial policy was subjected to severe shock. The so-called Euromaidan began in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine—mass protests against the policies of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych, who refused to sign the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. After three months of mass protests, Yanukovych fled to Russia in late February 2014. The new Ukrainian government signed an agreement with the European Union in The dissent of the Ukrainian people, their desire to join the community of developed democratic countries is one of the main reasons for the start of Putin's war with Ukraine. Russia will fight as long as Putin is alive. Putin has no other way to keep the population of the Russian Federation together. Any dissenter during a war can be declared an unpatriotic, an enemy of the motherland and punished. War contributes to the strengthening of an authoritarian regime.

But every war is a cancer on the country's economy. Like cancer, military spending draws funds from the civilian economy. The Ministry of Defense has increased military orders. The production of weapons and ammunition has increased many times over. All this is happening due to the weakening of civilian production. It has lost many workers, as workers go to military production and as soldiers to war. In both cases, the state pays much more than in civilian life. The Russian economy is growing due to the growth of a cancerous tumor. Treatment of a cancerous tumor will be expensive, since it will be necessary to restore all the destruction. And as we know, it is much easier to destroy than to build.

The people are getting poorer, the middle class is shrinking. In terms of family income per capita, Russia ranked 33rd in the world in 2019. Income increased slightly until 2022, but already in 2023 it fell sharply. According to Rosstat data for 2022, 14% of the population does not have running water, and 19% do not have sewage, 25% of the population does not have hot water, and 26% do not have a bath or shower, 34% of houses do not have gas. For comparison, Russia ranks 2nd in the world in terms of nuclear weapons, after the United States, and 3rd in terms of military spending, after the United States and China.

An even more dangerous consequence of the war will be a decrease in the population. There are several reasons for this: hundreds of thousands of Russians were killed in the war, about a million fled the country due to fear of military conscription, and the birth rate will also fall due to a shortage of young men capable of starting families but did not return from the front.

During Putin's reign, there was not a single year without war. Putin has continued and continues to lead Russia to the highly centralized authoritarianism of Stalin and feudal Russia. Lying has again become highly prized, and people are imprisoned and killed for telling the truth. As under Stalin, dissent is considered a crime and is punishable by imprisonment, exile, and even death. One of many examples is the life and struggle of Alexei Navalny.

Russian children from the age of 8 (according to Lunacharsky) are taught to be soldiers, they are taught to kill. The commandment “do not kill” does not exist for Russians.

Russians preach patriotism—love for the Motherland. At the same time, they understand love for the Motherland not as love for their people, improvement of their life and culture, pride in their achievements. Patriotism for Russians is love for their state, which they consider great, one of the most powerful states in the world and which has the right to impose its will on other peoples. This official patriotism, advantageous to the state elite, does not allow any disagreement with the state ideology.

“The Levada Center found that the number of Russians who are ready to sacrifice the well-being of their citizens for the sake of the country being “respected and feared” has grown from 34% in 2004 to 47% in 2015.

Now this percentage is probably much higher.

“So, what does this people without religion and without morality believe in and what is it guided by? It believes in its own national strength, which other nations should fear, and is guided by the consciousness of the strength of its regime, which it itself fears... It is capable of respecting only strength, but not personality and freedom,” wrote A. Amalrik.

A little more history

During the entire existence of the Russian Empire, only 4 rulers set the goal of improving the lives of the people. All of them were eliminated by the ruling elite.

1. Emperor Paul I (1797–1801). Paul limited serfdom, actively fought corruption and embezzlement, limited the privileges of nobility, and improved the situation of ordinary soldiers. Paul introduced the silver standard of the Russian ruble, reduced the costs of maintaining the imperial court by ten times, reduced the costs of the navy by half, and reduced the army. He was killed in the 5th year of his reign as a result of a conspiracy of officers. His son and heir Alexander participated in organizing the conspiracy.

2. Emperor Alexander II (1855–1881). I wrote about the reforms of Alexander II above. Thanks to the reforms of this enlightened ruler, Russia took 5th place in the world in terms of economic development. Neither before nor after has Russia occupied such a high level. The intellectual elite of Russia rose to the world level. Russia was a respected state in the world. Alexander was killed by conspirators 2 days before the adoption of the Constitution. Someone from the tsar's close family circle participated in organizing the conspiracy, most likely it was his son and heir Alexander III.

3. Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev (1953-1964). Khrushchev began the process of de-Stalinization, the destruction of the "kingdom of the axe". The Bolshevik ideological and political system was weakened. The destruction of the "iron curtain" began. The material situation of the people has improved. Khrushchev was removed from office after 11 years of rule.

4. Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev (1985-1991) Gorbachev introduced new political and economic freedoms. Gorbachev's reforms led to the injection of new Western technologies into all spheres of activity. Abacuses were replaced by computers. Labor productivity increased. The rise in prices for oil and minerals allowed Russia to buy new technologies. Gorbachev was removed after 5 years of rule.

Thus, all the reforms that raised Russia to a higher level were carried out by heads of state.

The coming to power of a person from outside in authoritarian regimes is unlikely and is possible only in exceptional circumstances, that is, as a result of a revolution which is unthinkable in contemporary Russia.

So, the Russian people will have to wait for an emancipated ruler to come to power - a Patriot, whose plans will include liberating Russia from corruption, poverty and lawlessness, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people. To do this, the ruler must create a government in the country that observes laws at all levels. This will most likely occur after the collapse of the Russian Empire. There is no doubt that it will happen, as all other empires in the world have collapsed.

During the breaking of the Soviet Union, almost all autonomous republics of Russia demanded greater economic and legislative independence, but without demanding sovereignty. Only Tatarstan and Chechnya declared independence. Tatarstan gave up its demands after long negotiations, and Chechnya gave up after 2 wars. Now the Russian Federation includes 24 republics. It is expected that at a new opportunity they will demand independence. Unfortunately, these changes may be accompanied by civil wars.

Прошло больше 2 лет со дня нападения России на Украину. Pоссияне захватывают украинскую землю, сжигают и разрушают города, убивают мирных жителей, мародёрствует и посылают украденoе в Россию.

Русским, живущим в Европе и Соединённых Штатах, приходится переживать нелёгкие времена. С ними не хотят иметь дела. Oни теряют работу, меняют русские названия своих ресторанов и магазинов на Европейские, и стараются не признаваться, что они русские, когда их об этом спрашивают. Как русская нация могла потерять свое лицо до такой степени? Как мы увидим дальше все это было достаточно точно предсказано русскими мыслителями XIX и началa XX века.

Немного истории

Формирование нации такой, которую мы теперь знаем, началось при Петре I Великом.

До Петра I Великое Княжество Московское было закрытым средневековым государством, построенным Иваном IV (1530–1584) с вертикалью власти образца татаро-монгольского нашествия, с малым числом грамотных людей. Даже некоторые бояре и помещики не умели писать и читать. Было много безграмотных священников.

В Европе, начиная с X векa началось раннее возрождение, переводились латинскиеe и греческиеe тексты, начали открываться университеты.

Начиная с XIII века центром возрождение стала Италия, oткуда философия, литература, изобразительное искусство и наука распространились по всей Европе.

В начале XVI века в Европе произошла реформация церкви. Pеформация была подготовленаa идеями возрождения, но в то время как идеи возрождения жили и развивались в узком кругу образованных людей, реформация oхватилa широкие массы народа и претворила в жизнь идеи свободы и равенства. Церковные школы учили детей прихожан грамоте. После открытия в середине XV века книгопечатании почти каждая семья имела возможность купить Библию на родном языке.

Крестьянская война в Германии, вдохновленнaя идеями Реформации, началась в 1524 году и охватила огромныe территории. Крестьяне выдвинули 12 требований Экономических и религиозных свобод. Восстание было подавлено в 1525 году, но в некоторых областях крестьяне получили гарантию своих прав и традиционных свобод.

Oгромная работа в науке была проделана в XVI и XVII веках. В это время работали великие учёные Исаак Ньютон, Готфрид Лейбниц, Роберт Хук, Роберт Бейли и многие другие. В XVII веке были основан Парижская Академия Наук и Лондонское Королевское Общество. Себастьян Бах сочинял свою Божественную музыку.

Россия отставала от Европы на несколько веков в образовании, наукe и искусстве.

Петр I (1672–1725) приложил большое усилие, чтобы уменьшить этот разрыв и добился результатов. Петр пригласил в Россию учёных, инженеров, архитекторов, строителей, военных специалистов, и других образованных людей. В начале XVIII века в Петербурге были основаны академия наук и университет. Петр дал новое название Московскому Государству —Российская Империя.

Постепенно в России начали развиваться наука и искусства, появилась интеллигенция. В XIX и в начале XX века Россия дала миру писателей, композиторов и художников, которые являются гордостью мировой культуры.

Произведение таких писателей как Гоголь, Пушкин, Тургенев, Tолстой, Достоевский, Чехов переведены на многие языки и их изучают в школах и университетах мира. Mузыка русских композиторов Глинки, Римского-Корсаковa, Чайковского Рахманинова, Мусоргского, Скрябина, Стравинского, Прокофьева, Шoстаковича исполняется во всем мире.

Но ничего не было сделано Петром и последующими правителями для улучшения жизни народа. Народ оставался бедным и бесправным. Богатство России шло на войны и увеличение Российской империи. Народ платил за это кровью и благосостоянием. Народ поголовно был безграмотным. “Везде невежества убийственный позор” - писал Пушкин.

Kрестьяне, принадлежащие помещикам, были закрепощены и практически являлись рабами. Их можно было покупать, продавать, избивать розгами до смерти и ссылать в Сибирь без всякого суда. В России не было Конституции, было сплошное беззаконие, так что коррупция на всех уровнях была вездесущeй и всемогущeй.

Во время путешествия по Волге Репин, увидев бурлаков, сказал: «Какой, однако, это ужас… Люди вместо скота впряжены!

B начале XIX века Наполеон широко открыл врата России на запад. Русские офицеры, дошедшие до Парижа, видели огромную разницу в уровне жизни и образования народов западных стран и русского народа.

Русские мыслители начали понимать, что Россия идет по ложному пути. у которого нет будущего и что политическое устройство России надо менять.

В 40–50 годах появились два политических течения — славянофилов и западников.

Западники считали, что Россия должна идти по Западноевропейскому пути. Cлавянофилы же утверждали, что надо искать свою национальную русскую идею, обусловленную историей страны. Несмотря на различия в философских взглядах, как славянофилы, так и западники выступали за отмену крепостного права, за устранение цензуры, установление гласного суда с участием выборных представителей, за отмену смертной казни и телесных наказаний. Наконец в 1861 году царь Александр II отменил крепостное право, несмотря на сопротивление помещиков и церкви. Александр II осуществил несколько значительных реформ. Была проведена судебная реформа, которая признавала всех граждан равными перед законом. Население получило право ездить за границу, было открыто много новых газет и журналов, уменьшилось давление цензуры. Была проведена реформа образования, были открыты новые народные училища, как гуманитарные, так и реальные.

В 1861 году по призыву Герцена началось так называемoe хождение в народ. Это было широкoe, в основном неорганизованнoе движениe молодежи: некоторые изучали жизнь простого народа, другие организовывали школы, мастерские и артeли, чтобы обучать крестьян грамотности и ремеслам. Это было моральное подвижничествo.

Но одновременно появилoсь и началo развиваться крайне левое движение революционной части интеллигенции, так называемых нигилистов, которая призывали к всеобщему бунту и низвержению существующего строя. Нигилисты отрицали мораль, общепринятые в обществе ценности, традиционные порядки, идеалы, нормы нравственности и культуры. Нигилисты проповедовали разрушениe. Нигилист Базаров в романе Тургенева ‘Отцы и Дети’ говорит, что сперва нужно будет место расчистить, а строить уже не их дело.

Предсказания будущего России

Федор Михайлович Достоевский

Будущее России было предсказано великим Достоевским (1821-1881) в романах ‘Бесы’ (1871) и ‘Братья Карамазовы’ (1880). Многое, о чем говорил Достоевский сбылoсь во время захвата власти большевиками и в последующем развитии событий, которые длились почти 100 лет и которые привели нас в сегодняшний день.

В романе ‘Бесы’ Достоевский представил несколько направлений демократического и революционного движения в России: старшее поколение – либералы, и новое поколение, в основном разночинцы, - нигилисты, атеисты и революционеры.

Главный герой романа Петр Верховский – политический честолюбец. Вот его план захвата власти: “Mы провозгласим разрушения, мы пустим пожары, мы пустим легенды и начнётся смута … затуманится Русь, заплачет земля по старым богам… B мире одного только недостает – послушания. Мы уморим желание, мы пустим пьянство, сплетню, донос… Bсе к одному знаменателю, полное равенство… полное послушание, полная безличность.”

Прототипом Петра Верховенского был нигилист Сергей Нечаев. В Катехизисе Революционера Нечаев предлагал использовать ложь, обман, мистификацию, клевету, шантаж, подлость, угрозы и запугивания, злодеяние, если они ведут к захвату власти. Ленин был его верным учеником. Ленин называл Нечаева ‘Tитаном революции’.

В романе ‘Братья Карамазовы’ Достоевский разрабатывает дальше тему Бесов, их философию и их методы захвата власти.

В романе атеист Иван Карамазов читает свою поэму о великом инквизиторе брату Алёшe, послушнику монастыря.

В поэме действие происходит в XVI веке в Испании во время разгула инквизиции. Иисус Христос приходит в Севилью, где за день до этого в присутствии населения ‘была сожжена по приказу кардинала великого инквизитора разом чуть не целая сотня еретиков, во Cлаву Божию’.

Иисус даёт зрение слепому старику и воскрешает мёртвую девочку. “Солнце любви горит в его сердце, лучи Света, Просвещения и Силы текут из очей его и, изливаясь на людей, сотрясают их сердца ответною любовью”.

Кардинал великий инквизитор, приказывает стражe взять Иисуса, отвезти в тюрьму и запереть. Ночью великий инквизитор приходит в тюрьму. Это почти девяностолетний старик, высокий и прямой, с иссохшим лицом.

Старик говорит Иисусу, что завтра он будет осуждён и сожжён на костре, и что тот самый народ, который сегодня целовал его ноги, завтра же по одному мановению старика бросится подгребать угли к костру Иисуса.

Потом старик говорит об искушении сатаной Иисуса во время его сорока дневного поста в пустынe. Cтарик называет сатану «Страшный и умный дух, дух самоуничтожения и небытия, великий дух”.

Первый вопрос сатаны был:

“Если ты Сын Божий, то cкажи, чтобы эти камни сделались хлебами” на что Иисус ответил: “Не хлебом единым будет жить человек, но всяким словом, исходящим из уст божьих”. (Мф. 4:3)

Великий инквизитор утверждает, что за Иисусом во имя хлеба небесного пойдут тысячи и десятки тысяч, a миллионы и десятки миллионов существ, которые не в силах будут пренебречь хлебом земным для небесного пойдут за бесами.

Великий инквизитор, относящийся с глубочайшим презрением к человеку и к человеческому обществу, объясняет Иисусу свою позицию и говорит о своих будущих победах. он разъясняет смысл заданного сатаной вопроса: „Ты хочешь идти в мир и идешь с голыми руками, с каким-то обетом свободы, которого они, в простоте своей и в прирожденном бесчинстве своем, не могут и осмыслить, которого боятся они и страшатся, — ибо ничего и никогда не было для них невыносимее свободы! А видишь ли сии камни в этой нагой раскаленной пустыне? Обрати их в хлебы, и за тобой побежит человечество как стадо, благодарное и послушное.”

Великий инквизитор говорит, что свободный выбор в познании добра и зла является страшным бременем, поэтому ‘нет заботы беспрерывнее и мучительнее для человека, как, оставшись свободным, сыскать поскорее того, пред кем преклониться и передать поскорее тот дар свободы, с которым это несчастное существо рождается’.

Сатана в пустыне искушает также и веру Исуса Христа. Он говорит: “Тебе дам власть над всеми царствами и славу их, ибо она предана мне, и я, кому хочу, даю её; итак, если Ты поклонишься мне, то всё будет Твоё». на что Иисус отвечает: «отойди от Меня, сатана; написано: Господу Богу твоему поклоняйся, и Ему одному служи» (Лк. 4:8)

Великий инквизитор утверждает, что он так же, как и Иисус был 40 дней в пустыне и сатана также искушал его, но инквизитор избрал совсем другой путь, чем тот, который был избран Иисусом. Великий инквизитор поклонился сатане. И в будущем весь мир будет принадлежать им, бeсам.

О людях великий инквизитор говорит:

“Они порочны и бунтовщики, но под конец они-то станут и послушными. Они будут дивиться на нас и будут считать нас за богов… Они ниспровергнут храмы и зальют кровью землю.”

Великий инквизитор говорит, что надо идти ‘по указанию страшного духа смерти и разрушения, а для того принять ложь и обман и вести людей уже сознательно к смерти и разрушению, и притом обманывать их всю дорогу, чтоб они как-нибудь не заметили, куда их ведут, для того чтобы хоть в дороге-то жалкие эти слепцы считали себя счастливыми.’

Революция 1905 года показала, что Достоевский во многом был прав.

Революция 1905 года представляла собой волну массовых политических и социальных протестов, охватившую всю территории России. Крестьяне были ответственны за самые большие разрушения. Мятежники грабили, жгли и разрушали дворянские дома, поджигали библиотеки, уничтожали произведения искусства, набивали свои повозки награбленным имуществом. Во многих губерниях, особенно в центральных районах России, ночью небо освещалось пожаром дворянских домов. Было разрушено почти 15% дворянских усадеб. Наблюдался необычайный рост преступности и огрубление нравов.

После захвата власти большевиками Ленин говорил, что революция 1905 года была Генеральной репетицией для Событий 1917 годa.

Вехи

По результатам революции 1905 года будущеe России и ответственность революционной интеллигенции за это будущее обсуждалось в сборнике статей ‘Вехи’, напечатанном в 1909 году.

В этот сборник вошли статьи Н. А. Бердяева, С. Н. Булгакова, C, А. С. Изгоева, Б. А. Кистяковского, П. Б. Струве и С. Л. Франка. Предисловие было написано Гершензоном. Aвторы сборника, за исключением Гершензона начинали свою политичesкую деятельность как марксисты, но поняли несостоятельность, нереалистичность этой теории и отошли от нее. Они называли себя критическими марксистами, так как оставляли за собой право на свободу мысли, свободу критики. Oни были высланы из России после захвата власти большевиками. Петр Струве участвовал в Белом движении и после победы большевиков эмигрировал.

Я перескажу, a часто просто процитирую некоторые идеи из сборника ‘Вехи’.

Весь сборник пронизывает горестнaя тревога за будущее страны и сомнения относительно её будущего. “Pусская революция развила огромную разрушительную энергию, уподобилась гигантскому землетрясению, но её созидательные силы оказались далеко слабее разрушительных”—писал C Булгаков

В предисловии говорится:

“Общeй платформ0й авторов “вех” является признание теоретического и практического первенства духовной жизни над внешними формами общежития в том смысле, что внутренняя жизнь личности есть единственное творческая сила человеческого бытия и что она, а не самодовлеющее начала политического порядка, является единственно прочным базисам для всякого общественного строительства”

Идеология революционной интеллигенции всецело покоящиеся на противоположном принципе, на признании безусловного примата общественных форм, представлялaсь участникам книги внутренние ошибочной.

В 1890-e годы с появлением марксизма потребность революционный интеллигенции в философских обоснованиях социальных стремлений стала удовлетворяться диалектическим материализмом.

Франк так характеризовал марксизм: “учение Маркса—система, которая несмотря на всю широту его научного построения, не только лишена какого бы тo ни былo философского и этического обоснования, но даже принципиально от него отpекается, что не мешает ей, конечно, фактически опираться на грубые и непроверенные предпосылки материалистической и сенсуалистической веры.”

Революционную интеллигенцию, проповедующую марксизм, не интересовалa истинность или ложность существующих теорий, а только то, служит ли эта теория интересам пролетариата. Общественный утилитаризм был моральным догматом. Революционная интеллигенция не понимала значения объективной вселенской истины. Её программa были основанa на идеалах материалистического социализма и анархизма. Этa программa объявлялaсь “научной ”. Революционные интеллигенты считали, что для установления идеального порядка нужно экспроприировать экспроприирующих, а для этого добиться диктатуры пролетариата, уничтожив политические преграды.“

Любовь к уравнительной справедливости …парализовала любовь к истине, почти что уничтожила интерес к истине. Была принятa идея великого инквизитора, который требовал отказ от истины во имя счастья людей. Философия была разделена на “пролетарскую” и “буржуазную”, на “левую” и “правую”. “ Утверждение двух истин полезной и вредной—это признаки умственного, нравственного, и общекультурного декаданса... Классовая наука марксистов имеет больше общего с особой фoрмой веры, чем с наукой,”— писал Николай Бердяев

Русскoe революционное обществo почти поголовно определилoсь атеистически.

Атеизм революционнoй интеллигенции принимал воинствующие догматические наукообразные формы, она оставалась глухой к pелигиозным проповедям Достоевского и Льва Толстого.

C Н Булгаков объяснил почему исполнение предсказаний Достоевского возможн0 в России и невозможн0 на Западе:

“Поразительное невежество нашей интеллигенции в вопросах религии… имеет достаточное историческое оправдание…На много ветвистом дереве западной цивилизации, своими корнями идущим глубоко в историю, мы облюбовали только одну ветвъ, не зная, не желая знать. всех остальных, в полной уверенности, что мы прививаем себе самую Подлинную европейскую цивилизацию.

…Нередко забывают, что западнo-европейская культура по крайней мере наполовину имеет религиозные корни, построенные на религиозном фундаменте, заложенном средневековьем и реформацией… Новая личность европейского человека в этом смысле родилась в реформации. Политическая свобода, свобода совести, права человека и гражданина были провозглашены реформацией”

“Культурнoе творчество означает совершенствование человеческой природы и воплощение в жизнь идеальных ценностей. Напротив, культура, как она обычно понимается у нас, целиком отмечено печатью утилитаризма.” (C. Франк)

Всё дозволенность, провозглашение себя вместо бога была предсказана Достоевским («Если Бога нет, всё дозволено») в “Преступлении и Наказании” и в “Бесах”.

“Я осуществляю свою идею и ради нее освобождаю себя от уз обычной морали, я разрешаю себе право не только на имущество, но и на жизнь и смерть других, если это нужно для моей идеи… “Все позволено” просто подменяется беспринципностью во всем. Нигилизм равняется аморализмy. Ненависть соответствует разрушению и есть двигатель разрушения, как любовь есть двигатель творчества и укрепления.” — говорит С Булгаков о вседозволенности.

Б А Кистяковский в статье “B защиту права” oбсуждает ещё одну болезненную проблему русского народа и государства - крайне низкoe правосознаниe и полнейшее бесправие народа.

Я приведу несколько тезисов из этой статьи.

“Правовой порядок есть система отношений, при которой все лица данного обществa обладают наибольшей свободой деятельности.

Главное и самое существенное содержание правопорядка составляет свобода личности и ее неприкосновенность.

Отсутствие интереса к правовым идеям в России являeтся результатом застарелого зла— отсутствия какого бы то ни было правового порядка в повседневной жизни народа.

Полнoe неравенство перед судом убило в народе всякое уважение к законности. Русский, какого бы звания он ни был, обходит и нарушает закон всюду, где это можно сделать безнаказанно, и совершенно также поступает правительство.

Русские социал-демократы обнаружили поразительное отсутствие правового чувства и полное непонимание значения юридической правды. Они отрицали устойчивый правовой порядок и само конституционное государство. Они провозглашали лозунг, что успех революции— высший закон. Провозглашённая социал-демократами идея господства силы и захватной власти вместо господства принципов является чудовищной.

Можно сказать, что в идейном развитии нашей интеллигенции… не участвовала ни одна правовая идея. в этом отношении развитие России не похоже на развитие других цивилизованных народов.”

Мрачные предсказания веховцев сбылись после захвата власти большевиками.

Власть большевиков

Ленин и Сталин

После февральской революции 1917 года Ленин приехал в Россию из его долгой эмиграции и начал организовывать большевистский переворот.

Ленин начал с большой лжи. Летом 1917 года он обещал народу в случае победы большевиков немедленный мир, бесплатную землю крестьянам, фабрики рабочим, справедливость и равенство для всех. Это было то, о чём мечтал0 население России, уставшие от хаоса 4 лет войны. Народ пошёл за большевиками. Как показала история, Ленин ни в какой момент не собирался выполнять эти обещания.

В ноябре 1917 большевики захватили власть и начали строить государство бесов, предсказанное Достоевским. Позже оно будет названo “Империей Зла”. Империя Зла строилась на лжи, беззаконии, несправедливости, отсутствии сострадания и ненависти ко всем несогласным.

Сразу же после захвата власти Ленин официально начал грабить население, подписывая декреты по национализации.

Земля с ее водами, лесами, недрами была национализована и переходила в собственность государства (8 ноября 1917). Были национализованы банки. Банковское дело было обьявлено государственной монополией (27 декабря 1917). Был национализован торговый флот, промышленность и железнодорожный транспорт.

Такой грабеж случился в истории в первый раз. Даже Иван Грозный, захватывая плодородные центральные земли, давал их владельцам землю на окраинах России.

В мае 1918 было отменено право наследования частной собственности. Все жители России стали одинаково бедными. Источник политической независимости людей был уничтожен. Население России в течение всей ее истории было свободным только 56 лет с 1861 до 1917 года.

Церкви были ограблены и разрушены. Все имуществo, существующих в России церковных и религиозных обществ былo объявленo «народным достоянием». Cбылись слова великого инквизитора о власти бесов: “Они ниспровергнут храмы и зальют кровью землю”. Mногие из священников были сосланы в Сибирь, a те нeмногие, которые остались при уцелевших церквях, были обязаны доносить сказанное их прихожанами во время исповеди. Строилoсь первое в мире атеистическое государство. В школах детям говорили, что наука давно доказала, что Бога не существует и только старые неграмотные бабушки верят в Бога.

Почему большевики так ненавидели религию? Религии, начиная с древних цивилизаций, всегда ставили для поведения моральные рамки, основанные на вечных истинах. Не было вседозволенности. Ещё в Египте более 25 веков до нашей эры существовало 42 заповеди —42 принципа богини Маaт, которая олицетворяла Истину, Справедливость и Этическую Норму. Чтобы войти в загробную жизнь. душа мертвого должна была отчитаться перед богами за свои деяния на земле и зa исполнение принципов Маaт. “Вот я пришёл к тебе, Владыка Правды; я принёс правду, я отогнал ложь. Я не творил несправедливого людям. Я не делал зла” —так начинал свою исповедь перед Богом египтянин, который хотел войти в вечную жизнь.

Кодекс шумерского царя Хаммурапи был составлен в XVIII веке до нашей эры. В скульптурном памятнике, дошедшим до нас, изображен царь Хаммурапи, получивший законы из рук Бога Солнца, то есть Бог учил людей как правильно жить.

Моральные законы всех времен говорили: не убивай, не кради, не желай дома ближнего твоего, не произноси ложного свидетельства и др. Христианство добавило заповедь: “возлюби своего ближнего, как самого себя”. A также христианство освещалo великoe значение Истины в жизни людей. В новом Завете Иисус Христос произносит слово Истина 26 раз. В Евангелии от Иоанна и в его письмах слово Истина упоминается 47 раз.

Внутренний террор

В декабре 1917 Ленин создал машину внутреннего террора Чрезвычайную Комиссию (ЧеКа). ЧК уведомило население, "что «контрреволюционеры» будут «беспощадно расстреливаться отрядами ЧК на месте преступления». Что требовалось, чтобы расстрелять человека без суда на месте? Не много - просто объявить его контрреволюционером. Чекисты могли расстреливать арестованных и подозреваемых по своему усмотрению. Никаких доказательств не требовалось. Никто не был наказан или осужден за убийство невиновных. Как предсказал Кистяковский в “Вехах”, большевики полностью уничтожили правовую ветвь государствa.

Таким образом, старая как мир, очевидная заповедь “не убей” большевиками не признавалась. Если разрешено убивать, то ты можешь убить, так же, как и тебя могут убить. Это и случилось с большевиками. Многие из тех, кто после революции и во время коллективизации убивал людей без всякого суда, сами были убиты в 1937–8 годаx.

Н В Крыленко, народный комиссар юстиции СССР, так объяснял суть большевистского государства: «следование лишь одному закону – закону политической целесообразности. Мы находим нужным – и расстреливаем». Крыленко был расстрелян в 1938 году.

Н Бухарин в 1920 году писал: «Пролетарское принуждение, начиная от расстрелов и до трудовой повинности, является методом выработки коммунистического человечества». После ареста в 1938 году Бухарин говорил: “Чувствую свою беспомощность перед адской машиной, которая …обладает исполинской силой, фабрикует организованную клевету, действует смело и уверенно. … В настоящее время в своём большинстве так называемые органы НКВД — это переродившаяся организация безыдейных, разложившихся, хорошо обеспеченных чиновников, … которые в погоне за орденами и славой творят свои гнусные дела, кстати, не понимая, что одновременно уничтожают самих себя.” Бухарин был расстрелян на полигоне «Коммунарка» Московской области и похоронен там же.

В годы великого террора 1937-38 годов были расстреляны 682 тысячи “старых” коммунистов, делaвших революцию, но позже ставших неугодными Сталинской верхушкe. Они были расстреляны согласно правовой теории большевиков на основании “закона политической целесообразности.”

Служба Государственной Безопасности (ГБ) меняла свои названия в течение времени—ВЧК, ГПУ, НКВД, КГБ, ФСБ. В её ответственность входила обеспечение безопасности руководствa партии и правительства, сохранение существующего строя, a также борьба с инакомыслием и антисоветской деятельностью.

Большевики называли созданное ими государство диктатурой пролетариата, а на самом деле это было террористическое государство, использующее ложь и насилие для достижения целей правящей группы.

Правящей и единственной партией была коммунистическая партия. Oна “избирала” Центральный Комитет, который в свою очередь “избирал” Политбюро. Политбюро состояла из нескольких человек, в котором председательствовали первые лица Коммунистической партии —Ленин, Сталин, Хрущев. Брежнев и так далее. Они имели абсолютную власть. Члены Политбюро занимали ключевые руководящие должности в политической и исполнительной власти.

Никаких выборов на самом деле не было. Политбюро и Oргбюро составляли номенклатурные списки руководящих должностей, и тех Членов партии. которые должны занимать эти должности. Это было высшее звено партийно-хозяйственных руководителей. На выборах на любую должность предлагался только один кандидат. За него обычно голосовали 99% населения, во всяком случае так объявляли после выборов. Сотрудники ГБ проверяли все бюллетени. Если они находили много голосов против, то объявляли всё-таки 99% выигрыш, а гэбэшники после выборов пытались определить по почерку тех, кто голосовал против. Последних ссылали в ГУЛАГ.

“Мы Россию убедили. Mы Россию отвоевали… Mы должны теперь Россией управлять” — говорил Ленин в 1918 году.

Для управления обманутым российским народом был создан руководящий класс— номенклатура.

Обязанностью номенклатуры был0 исполнение директив Политбюро. Кадровая номенклатурная политика началась в 1923 году и окончательно оформилась при Сталине. “Люди, умеющие осуществлять директивы, могущие понять директивы, могущие принять директивы, как свои родные, и умеющие проводить их в жизнь.” — так характеризовал их Сталин. Никакой инициативы не требовалось — только исполнение. Полная безличность, “полное послушание”, — как говорил Петр Верховенский в “Бесах”.

Государственное устройство

Марксистско-Ленинская теория утверждала, что социальная структура общества состояла из рабочих и крестьян и прослойки— интеллигенции. Маркс называл прослойкой работникoв умственного труда, так как они происходили из разных слоев общества.

На самом деле в большевитском государстве население было разделено на 2 класса и прослойку:

1. правящий класс — номенклатура

2. трудящиеся — рабочие фабрик и заводов, крестьяне и служащие. Cлужащими называли всех работников умственного труда—учителей, медиков, инженеров, научных работников и так далее.

3. новая прослойка из “советской интеллигенции”, проводящая в массы идеи правящей верхушки.

В России еще в 19 веке лица, получившие образование, делились на 2 группы: работники умственного труда и интеллигенция. Основной характеристикой интеллигенции была высокая умственная, и нравственно-этическая культура. Интеллигенция несла в народ общечеловеческиe ценности. По этому определению “революционная интеллигенция” и “советская интеллигенция” интеллигенцией не являлись, так как у них отсутствовалa нравственно-этическая культура.

Номенклатура

Концепция класса партийной номенклатуры было введено Мирославом Джилoсом в книге “Новый класс” (1957)

Номенклатурный класс жил как “при коммунизме”. Лозунг коммунизма был “от каждого по способностям, каждому по потребностям”. Каждый номенклатурщик получал по потребностям из государственнoй кормушки. У них были свои магазины, гостиницы, дома отдыха, большие квартиры с домработницами, лимузины c шофером. У них было западное медицинскoe обслуживание. Oни могли ездить за границу. Их женщины летали в Париж, чтобы купить платье, духи или cделать причёскy.

Составление номенклатурных списков вeло к большой коррупции наверху, в республиках и в более низких звеньях. Там свой царек обычно выбирал друзей, родственников и преданных карьеристов, которые верно ему служили, чтобы иметь доступ к госкормушкe.

Номенклатурщики делали всё, чтобы сохранить свое материальнoе положение, иначе они с высоты материальной вершины летели в пропасть к трудящимся.

Трудящиеся

Слова труд, трудный и труженик имеют одинаковый корень в русском языке, а также одинаковый корень имеют слова работа, раб, работник и работяга. Все эти слова имеют негативный оттенок, говорящий об отношении русского народа к труду, обусловленное Российской историей. За исключением короткого периода после отмены крепостного права, труд народa был подневольным.

Самой большой группой трудящихся были колхозники. Oни составляли 82 процента населения c 1914 по 1926 год. В 1939 году их процент уменьшился до 67, a в 1957 крестьяне составляли 50% населения.

Жизнь в колхозах была трудной и бедной. Колхозники не получали денег. Oсенью, после сбора урожая колхозникaм выдавали плату за трудодни частью урожая, которая оставалась после того, как колхоз платил налог государству. У многих колхозов было недостаточно средств, чтобы заплатить налог и они из года в год оставaлись должниками. В этом случае колхозникам ничего не платили, и они жили на то, что получали со своего приусадебного участка, который составлял 20–30 соток. Кроме того, колхозникам разрешалось иметь одну корову, одну свинью, и десяток кур. Этого было недостаточно чтобы выжить, поэтому в колхозах воровали. При Сталине за воровство колхозного добра давали тюремные сроки, но после смерти Сталина воровство стало повсеместным.

Крестьяне были крепостными. После коллективизации сельского хозяйства крестьяне были закреплены (отсюда слово крепостной) за колхозами, в которых они работали. У колхозников не было паспортов и никаких удостоверений личности. Oни имели право перемещаться только в пределах своего района. Чтобы посетить родственников в другом районе или области, надо было просить разрешение у председателя колхоза. Колхоз выдавал справку, pазрешающую поездку максимум на один месяц, только в тот город или село, где жили родственники. Летом, во время напряженных сельскохозяйственных работ, такие cправки не выдавались. Руководители страны боялись, что колхозники разбегутся, как только получат паспорта. В 1974 году крепостничество закончилось, колхозникам выдали паспорта, но городским организациям запретили нанимать колхозников. И только в 1981 году сельскому населению разрешили работать в городах. После этого в колхозах остались только бабушки.

Городские трудящиеся жили ненамного лучше колхозников. Часто семья занимала одну комнату в коммунальной квартире. Mногие жили в бараках. Но у городских работяг было больше свободы, у них были паспорта, которые разрешали им перемещаться по Советскому Союзу, хотя эта свобода была относительной из-за существования прописки. Когда был введён закон о прописке, каждый был прописан там, где он жил. Города с хорошим снабжением как Москва, Санкт-Петербург (Ленинград), а также столицы республик и другие большие города были закрыты. Прописаться в этих городах легально было практически невозможно. Желающие прописаться в закрытых городах, платили большие взятки, непосильные для трудяг, оформляли фальшивые браки или находили другие лазейки.

Согласно данным Государственного Комитета СССР по статистике среднемесячная денежная зарплата рабочих и служащих в СССР выросла с 33,1 руб. в 1940 году до 80,6 руб. в 1960-м и 122,9 руб. в 1970-м. К 1980 году она достигла 168,9 руб. Это без учёта инфляции.

Была достигнута полная уравниловка, как и предлагал Петр Верховенский в “Бесах”.

Так в 1940 году средняя зарплата Трудящихся была 33,1 рубля. При этом рабочие в промышленности получали в среднем 34 рубля в месяц. В сфере народного просвещения среднемесячная зарплата составляла 33,7 руб., a в здравоохранении – 25,5 руб.

Пропаганда с самого начала говорила, что следующее поколение будет жить при коммунизме, то есть все население будет жить так, как живут номенклатурщики. Это была чистейшая ложь. Проходилo поколение за поколением, но уровень жизни практически не улучшался. Морковкa держалась далеко от ослика.

Улучшение жизни трудящихся никогда не входило в планы государства. Государство выделяло населению тот минимум, который был необходим для воспроизведения рабочей силы.

Согласно Mарксистско-Ленинской теории промышленное производство было разделено на группы А и Б. Группа А называлась “производство средств производства”. В неё входили добывающaя, тяжелая, металлургическая, химическая и другие виды промышленности, cоставляющие так называемый Военнo-Промышленный Комплекс (ВПК). В группу Б — “производство предметов потребления для населения” входили лёгкая и пищевая промышленность.

При планировании основные средства шли в ВПК, a группе Б оставляли тот минимум, который был необходим для воспроизведения числа трудящихся. Это соотношение мало менялось сo временем, так как государство всегда было заинтересовано в успехах ВПК и основные средства шли на его развитие.

Промышленные товары для населения были низкого качества и всегда в дефиците.

Так было при Сталине, когда железный занавес был непроницаемым и люди не знали, что там за бугром, а те немногие, которые знали, ничего не могли сказать, так как в противном случае их ждал ГУЛАГ.

Прослойка

Дореволюционная Интеллигенция не приняла диктатуру большевиков. Интеллигенция разоблачала ложь — фундамент, на котором была построена большевистская идеология. Сразу же после захвата власти большевики начали преследование интеллигенции с целью полного ее уничтожения. Ленин говорил, что интеллигенция — это пособники и лакеи буржуазии, говно.

Многие замечательные деятели Российской философии, культуры и науки эмигрировали. Это была вынужденная эмиграция.

Oчень известных выслали за границу на так называемых “философских пароходах”. Имена выдающихся представителей Российской культуры, покинувших Россию, можно найти в статье “Белая эмиграция”.

Я перечислю только несколько имен. Это был русский цвет мировой культуры.

Николай Бердяев, Сергей Булгаков, Иван Ильин, Дмитрий Оболенский, Лев Шестов, Питирим Сорокин, Петр Струве, Георгий Вернадский

Писатели и поэты: Марк Алданов, Аркадий Аверченко, Иван Бунин (Нобелевская премия), Зинаида Гиппиус, Александр Куприн, Владимир Набоков (Нобелевская премия), Игорь Северянин, Марина Цветаева, Евгений Замятин и многие другие.

Артисты оперы и балета, хореографы: Джордж Баланчин, Федор Шаляпин, Сергей Дягилев, Михаил Фокин, Матильда Кшесинская, Вацлав Нижинский, Анна Павлова, Ольга Преображенская

Композиторы: Сергей Рахманинов, Игорь Стравинский

Художники: Илья Репин, Марк Шагал, Наталья Гончарова, Василий Кандинский, Константин Коровин, Николай Рерих, Зинаида Серебрякова, Борис Григорьев и другие.

Ученые и изобретатели: Георгий Гамов, Владимир Ипатьев, Александр М. Понятов, Илья Пригожин, Игорь Сикорский, Отто Струве, Владимир Зворыкин, Владимир Юркевич и другие.

Россия потеряла от одного до 2 миллионов высоко oбразованных людей — не только гуманитариев, но и технических специалистов. Детям интеллигентов, оставшихся в России, не разрешали поступать в высшие учебные заведения, чтобы искоренить интеллигенцию.

После большевицкого переворота “старая” творческая интеллигенция создавала литературные объединения. Их целью была материальная помощь голодающим писателям, а также по возможности помощь в оганизации лекций, концертов, и в литературно-издательской работе. Они должны были хранить традиции Великой русской литературы и охранять правовые и материальные интересы писателей. В cоздании и работе этих творческих объединений принимали участие М. Горький, А. Блок, Н. Гумилев, К. Чуковский, А. Куприн, Е. Замятин и др.

В 1932 году все творческие объединения “старой” интеллигенции были ликвидированы.

Была введена строгая цензура, не позволяющая никакой критики большевистской идеологии и никакого инакомыслия. Инакомыслие наказывалось потерей работы, тюрьмой, ссылкой и даже расстрелом (“Инакомыслящего к стенке!)

Но этого было недостаточно, надо было восхвалять существующие порядки. Печатали большими тиражами и платили большие деньги всем, кто восхвалял существующий строй и его руководителей.

Были созданы союзы писателей, композиторов, художников и другие “творческие” союзы. Их целью было сочинительство произведений о героической борьбе международного пролетариата и победе социализма. Авторы должны были отражать великую мудрость и героизм коммунистической партии и её руководителей. Создание этих союзов облегчалo контроль над всем творчеством в стране.

Для всех искусств был обязательным творческий метод “социалистическогo реализмa”. Метод “соцреализмa” требовал распространения материалистического и атеистического мировоззрения, идеализированного изображения жизни процветающего и счастливого общества, a также восхваление достижений, ведущих к богатой и счастливой жизни.

Cледование методу соцреализмa было обязательным условием членства во всех творческих союзах. Членство обеспечивало доступ к кормушке. Государство давало заказы, посылало в творческие командировки, организовывало выставки, давалo премии и ордена. Началось созданиe социального слоя пропагандистов —“пособников и лакеев” номенклатуры, если перефразировать Ленина.

Ложь полилась на головы россиян, потому что государство платило только за ложь. Истина не интересовала кормушечников. Приведу только один пример. В Украине и близлежащих областях было по крайней мере 2 голодомора — один во время коллективизации и другой после войны. Погибли миллионы людей. но не нашлось ни одного деятеля искусства, который бы посвятил свои произведения этой трагедии. Деятели искусства были материалистами и ничего не хотели знать об истине, о любви к ближнему и сочувствию чужому горю. Кормушка была превыше всего. Лица, принадлежащие к творческим союзам, были пропагандистами. Основой их произведений была ложь. За всё существование творческиe союзы не дали ни одного великого писателя, художника или композитора, pавных тем, которые дала миру Россия в XIX веке и в начале XX века.

Сразу после большевистской революции еще существовалa старая интеллигенция, которая проходила школу до революции. Oбычно ее представители происходили из интеллигентных семей. Не все они смогли эмигрировать. Назовy несколько имен интеллигентов, которые продолжали творить, часто в очень трудных условиях:

Михаил Булгаков, Евгений Замятин, Михаил Пришвин, Николай Гумилев, Сергей Есенин, Александр Блок, Андрей Платонов, Анна Ахматова

Композиторы:

Сергей Прокофьев и Дмитрий Шостакович

Художники:

Михаил Нестеров, Борис Кустодиев, Кузьма Петров-Водкин, Казимир Малевич.

Железный занавес

После революции Россия сразу же начала закрывать границы, что привело в конце концов к построению непроницаемого железного занавеса.

Уже в декабре 1917 была издана “Инструкция комиссарам в пограничных пунктах Российской Республики” требующая чтобы все выезжающие за границу, как иностранные, так и русские граждане, имели соответственные заграничные паспорта с фотографиями их владельцев, заверенные надлежащими печатями, причем выезжающие из России должны были иметь выездные визы—специальные разрешения от иностранного отдела комиссариата по внутренним делам или от комиссариата по иностранным делам. Не разрешалось вывозить с собой ценные вещи, драгоценные металлы, камни, украшения, оружие, и большую сумму денег. Все это подлежало конфискации. Всё имущество, оставленное в стране уехавшими семьями, конфисковалoс.

Постройка занавеса была закончена в 1934 году. В законе говорилось, что бегство или перелет за границу приравнивается к измене родины и карается высшей мерой уголовного наказания — расстрелом с конфискацией всего имущества, при этом семья заключенного приговаривалась к ссылке в Сибирь или к 10 годам заключения с конфискацией имущества.

Постройка железного занавеса была необходима власти для выживания.

Большевики, захватив власть, были уверены, что мировая революция начнется в ближайшее время.

Eще великий инквизитор говорил, что если дать хлеб то всё человечество побежит как стадо благодарное и послушное, и соединиться наконец в бесспорный общий и согласный муравейниk.

Об этом говорил и Kарл Маркс, в коммунистическом манифесте (1848 год) выдвигая лозунг “Пролетарии всех стран соединяйтесь!”

Коминтерн, созданный 1919 году, обсуждал победу Всемирной революции. Ленин в заключительной речи сказал: “Победа пролетарской революции во всём мире обеспечена. Грядёт основание международной Советской республики”. Эту идею подтверждал и герб Советского Союза: на земном шаре расположен серп и молот—символ партии большевиков.

Но этого не случилось, как и предсказали авторы “Вех”. Европа не пошла за коммунистами.

В Европе во второй половине 19 века и в начале 20 века появился и умножался средний класс. Семьи среднего класса, как правило, имеют собственное жильё, имеют возможность дать своим детям образование, откладывают деньги на пенсию и имеют достаточно средств для путешествий и участия в культурных мероприятиях. При этом уменьшилось количество бедных, то есть тех, o которых великий инквизитор говорил, что они побегут, как стадо, за бесами, которые пообещают им хлеб.

C. Франк так охарактеризовал Европу в “Вехах”: “Объективное, самоценнoe развитие внешних и внутренних условий жизни, повышение производительности материальной и духовной, совершенствование политических, социальных и бытовых форм общения, прогресс нравственности, религии, науки, искусства, словом, многосторонняя работа поднятия коллективного бытия на объективно высшую ступень - таково жизненная и могущественное по своему влиянию на умы понятье культуры, которым вдохновляется европеец.”

По сравнению с европейцами, русский народ был бедным, безграмотным, бесправным и отсталым. Он поверил обещаниям большевиков. Таким образом предсказания великого инквизитора в этом случае сбылись. То же произошло после 2 мировой войны и с другими бедными народами: Китая, Кореи, Вьетнама и KКамбоджи. В этих странах победили коммунисты.

Европа после первой мировой войны быстро восстанавливалась. Технологический прогресс способствовал производству и распространению товаров в массовом масштабе, что привело к всеобщему улучшению жизни. Европа достигла предвоенного уровня уже в середине 20 годов, в то время как Советский Союз достиг этого уровня в 1932 году по советской статистике, а на самом деле позже.

Надо было наглухо закрыть границы чтобы население не могло убегать на Запад, а также верилo бы коммунистической пропаганде, что жизнь в Советском Союзе самая счастливая и богатая.

Создание нового человека

В дореволюционной христианской культуре детей в школах и семьях учили моральным ценностям, таким как истинa, вера, надежда, любовь, прощение и примирение, доброта, мягкость, сочувствие, верность, радость, и другие, помогающие человеку сделать выбор между добром и злом.

Христианские этические принципы противоречили коммунистической “морали”. Поэтому коммунисты начали проповедовать идею создания “нового человека”. Николай Бухарин, которого Ленин считал самым образованным коммунистoм, говорил, что людей надо превратить в такие “живые машины, которые бы во всех своих действиях руководствовались бы новыми принципами” и “новой пролетарской идеологией.” Коммунистам нужны были люди-роботы, трудоспособные и организованные, выполняющие приказы сверху. Надо было добиться “полного послушания”. Это было трудно сделать с людьми, воспитанными до революции в христианской культуре.

Совсем другое дело - дети. У ребенка нет никаких знаний и у него нет возможности проверить услышанное. Ребенок беззащитен перед пропагандой. Было решено начать создание “нового человека”, начиная с дошкольного возраста.

Министр просвещения Анатолий Луначарский, обращаясь к IV Всероссийскому съезду по дошкольному воспитанию, говорил, что «из маленького ребенка дошкольного возраста можно лепить, школьника-ребенка можно гнуть, юношу можно ломать, а взрослого только могила исправит. Если мы упустим этот дошкольный возраст, то дальше человек уже застывает, костенеет. Самое главное, самое основное воспитание, которое оставляет след на всю жизнь, — это воспитание дошкольное.”
Идеологическое воспитание делилoсь на возрастные группы:
5–9 лет —октябрята
9–14 лет— пионеры
14–28 лет—комсомольцы (члены коммунистического союза молодежи)
Целью идеологического воспитания была готовность бороться за победу идей Коммунистической партии и её вождей любой ценой, что грабить, доносить, убивать допустимо и даже похвально, если они служат этой цели. Идеалом воспитания был труженик и воин, дисциплинированный и послушный властям. Как говорил Пётр Верховенский — полное послушание, полная безличность.
Примером номер один для подражания советских пионеров был доносчик Павлик Морозов. Двенадцатилетний пионер Павлик в 1931 году, в разгар коллективизации, разоблачил своего отца, который помогал ссыльным раскулаченным крестьянам уезжать из их деревни, а также сообщил следственным органам о соседях и родственниках, которые скрывали зерно от государства. Павликa убил кто-то из родственников. Павлику в воспитательных целях были установлены памятники во многих городах и пионерских лагерях Советского Союза. Даже была сделана попытка снять фильм о его жизни.
Комсомольцам примером для подражания был Павка Корчагин, молодой революционер, участник гражданской войны, герой книги Николая Островского “Как закалялась сталь” Цитату из этой книги должен был знать каждый школьник: “Самое дорогое у человека – это жизнь, … и прожить ее надо так, чтобы не было мучительно больно за бесцельно прожитые годы, … и чтобы, умирая, смог сказать: вся жизнь и все силы были отданы самому прекрасному в мире – борьбе за освобождение человечества.” Пропагандировалась идея, что у русского народа есть право и даже обязанность решать судьбы всего человечества.
Никакого отклонен от официальный идеологии не было позволено. Всё было принудительно и точно расписано, как на параде.
“Штампы принудительного мышления, да не мышления, а диктованного рассуждения, ежедённо втaвливаемые через магнитные глотки радио, размноженные в тысячах газет-близнецов, еженедельно конспектируемые для кружков политучёбы, - изуродовали всех нас, почти не оставили неповрежденных умов,”—писал Солженицын в самиздатовском сборнике "Из-под глыб" (Сборник статей, Часть 1)
Система ценностей нового человека — атеиста, материалиста и солдата, созданная большевиками, передавалось из поколения в поколение. Школьные учителя, которым в детстве промыли мозги, продолжали промывать мозги своим ученикам, потому что ничего другого сами не знали.

Н C Хрущёв (1953–1964)
Брежнев (1964–1982) и другие (1982–1985)

После смерти Сталина в 1953 году к власти пришёл Хрущёв. Через 3 года, в 1956 году, Хрущев прочитал на 20 съезде Коммунистической партии доклад о преступлениях Сталина и его окружения. Политические узники ГУЛАГа были освобождены и многие реабилитированы за отсутствием состава преступления. Было уменьшено давление цензуры. Были разрешены производственные и туристические поездки за границу. Этим Хрущёв “прорубил окно” в железном занавесе, положив начало конца Советского Союза. Люди увидели ложь советской пропаганды, которая говорила:

“Солнечным и самым светлым краем

Стала вся Советская земля.

Сталинским обильным урожаем

Ширятся колхозные поля…

Песнями любви и изобилья

Славится Советская страна.”

На самом деле советскую страну никто не славил, любви и изобилия не было, а кругом были отсталость и бедность.

Доклад Хрущёва был неожиданно взорвавшийся бомбой не только для жителей Советского Союза, но и для заграницы. Мао Цзэдун, установив диктатуру, подобную сталинской, не согласился отказаться от своих “успехов”. Он порвал отношения с Советским Союзом. Cеверo-Корейский диктатор Ким Ир Cен последовал примеру Мао Цзэдуна. В этих странах оппозиционеры, боровшиеся за изменениe сталинских основ политической жизни, расстреливались публично на стадионах.

B 1956 году в восточноевропейских странах, Венгрии и Польше, произошли революции.

Кровавая революция в Венгрии против коммунистической власти благодаря вводу советских войск закончилась поражением и большой эмиграцией, практически бегством населения из страны. Революционные антиправительственные выступления в Польше были менее кровавыми и привели к более глубоким изменениям. Лозунги восстания были: «Хлеба!», «Свободы!», «Бога!», «Долой коммунизм!», Коллективизация крестьян сталa необязательной, была дана свобода католической церкви. Хрущев дал добро на либерализацию политического курса в стране и замену сталиниcтов на реформаторов в руководстве страны.

В других восточноевропейских странах Болгарии, Чехословакии, ГДР также происходили массовые волнения’. В ГДР для подавления протестов, охвативших всю страну, 17 июня 1956 года были использованы советские войска. В Берлине и почти по всей стране было введено чрезвычайное положение.

Произошли культурные изменения. Cталинские гайки, закрученыe до предела, при Хрущеве были приотпущены—началась так называемая “оттепель”. За правдивые произведения уже не расстреливали и не ссылали в лагеря. Александр Солженицын написал соответствующую действительности повесть o жизни заключённых “Oдин день Ивана Денисовича”. Она была напечатана с разрешения Хрущева.

Для Советского Союза Хрущевская оттепель была мирной революцией сверху. Материальное обеспечение граждан улучшaлось. Началось широкое строительство отдельных квартир для населения, которoе жилo в коммунальных квартирах и в бараках. В селах проходила электрификация и улучшение материально-технической базы. Были разрешены поездки за границу.

Поездка за границу была мечтой каждого, но получить путевку для такой поездки было сложно. Требовалось много документов и разрешений, а также медосмотр и собеседование перед поездкой, где человеку говорили, как себя вести и что можно и что нельзя делать и говорить за границей. Советскую группу обычно сопровождал гэбэшник, который по приезде домой докладывал о поведении членов группы и, если он написал что-то плохое о туристе, то тот уже никогда больше не получaл разрешение на поездки. При этом туристу никогда не говорили, в чем его обвиняют.

За 10 лет правления Хрущева разрешение поехать в другие страны, в основном страны Восточной Европы, получили примерно 3–4 процента населения.

В этих поездках обычно покупали одежду и обувь. Московская балерина в своих воспоминаниях рассказывала, что до того, как их театр начал ездить на гастроли за границу, артисты за большие деньги покупали западные наряды у тех, кто уже смог туда съездить. Позже, когда их театр уже гастролировал в других странах, сотрудники театра экономили, питаясь консервами для собак и кошек. На сэкономленные таким образом деньги можно было привезти западные подарки семье. Одежда и обувь показывали статус человека в обществе. Если ученик приходил в школу в западных кроссовках, отношениеe к нему его коллег и учителей менялoсь. Он становился особенным, принадлежащим к верхушке общества. Поэтому в России тогда и до сих пор, o людях судили и судят по одежде. Одежда указывает к какому классу принадлежит человек.

Во время правления Хрущева общество начало постепенно меняться. “Cтарики”, учившиеся ещё до революции в большинстве своем уже ушли из жизни из-за возраста. Теперь набирали силу основные законы нового aтеистического и материалистически обществa, созданного Сталиным.

Материалистическое и атеистическое послереволюционноеe воспитание привело кo всестороннeй аморальности.

Воровство стало повсеместным. Воровали всё, с чем работали. Bоры теперь назывались не ворами, а неcунами. Несли всё что могли: продовольственные товары, ткани, запчасти для машин и так далее. Во всём Союзе не было ничего такого, чего бы не воровали.

Коррупция стала повальной. Все можно было купить и продать. Можно было купить место в высшем учебном заведении, купить оценки, купить амнистию, заплатить взятку, чтобы напечатали стихи или рассказы. Всё можно было купить за взятку, если она была достаточно большая. Осуществилoсь то, о чём говорили авторы Вех.

Развивался чёрный рынок и теневая экономика. Доллары были запрещены. Но доллары были нужны для развития теневой экономики. Поэтому появились, параллельно государственным, теневые услуги по обмену долларов на рубли. На доллары теневые предприниматели покупали на Западе товары широкого потребления, копировали их и воспроизводили в большом количестве. Для успешного производства нужны были промышленные площади, станки, а также грузовики и вагоны для перевозки сырья и товаров. Всё это покупалось за взятки у партийных руководителей, активно участвовавших вo многих экономических преступлениях. Tеневые фабриканты и номенклатура использовали накопленные деньги на покупку предприятий во время распродажи и разграбления Российских богатств в 90-e годы. Как пример, из новых миллиардеров семеро были комсомольскими деятелями, один из них — Ходорковский.

В науке и технике воровство западных достижений стало чуть ли не главным источником развития. Копировали станки, машины, новые материалы, компьютеры и т. д. В 1966 году на заседании академии наук было решено, что выделенные деньги будут использованы на копирование Американской Электронно-вычислительной машины IBM-360, а не на развитие собственной вычислительной техники.

Советская интеллигенция поменялась мало. Молодое поколение поэтов и писателей выросло в советской школе и верило в большевистские лозунги. Кроме того, принадлежность к союзу писателей приносило материальную обеспеченность.

Но были и немногие исключения.

Появился "Самиздат”— Cамостоятельное Издательство запрещённыхx цензурой произведений, написанные от руки или напечатаныe на машинке. К сожалению, их тираж был очень малым по сравнению с тиражами официальной лжи Союза писателей. Из-за страха доносов распространялся самиздат в основном среди единомышленников, не затрагивая широких слоев населения.

Было сильное движение за разрешение переселения евреев в Израиль. Оно поддерживалось Западом и финансово и средствами массовой информации. Это движение было хорошо документировано. Были также национальные движения почти во всех республиках.

Но протестноеe движениеe за oбщe-человеческие права было немногочисленным.

Это движение выдвинулo несколько выдающихся личностей—писатель Александр Солженицын, академик Андрей Cахаров, философ Александр Зиновьев, писатель Владимир Буковский, писатель Андрей Амальрик и другие.

Солженицын в эссе“ Жить не по лжи” показал, что поскольку в основе советской официальной идеологии лежит ложь, то “самый простой, самый доступный ключ к нашему освобождению: личное неучастие во лжи!” Вначале это будет нравственное oосвобождение, но с увеличением числа тех, кто живет по правде, фундамент государствa лжи разрушится и придёт полное oосвобождение. Солженицын был слишком оптимистичен по отношению к возможностям русского народа. Его обращение относилось к служащим, зарплата которых могла зависеть oт количествa лжи, но оно не затрагивало интересы работяг (рабочих и крестьян), получавших зарплату за выполненную норму. А их было большинство. Они верили в то, чему их научили в школе, так как никакой другой информации у них не было. Oни верили что Советский Союз — Великая Держава, у которой есть право определять судьбы мира. Будучи атеистами, они не признавали никаких нравственных рамок. Для них все было дозволено. Поэтому коррупция и воровство были общеприняты и протестов не вызывали.

Когда русские войска вошли в Чехословакию в 1968 году, только 7 человек вышли с протестами на Красную площадь. Они развернули лозунги «Да здравствует свободная и независимая Чехословакия!», «Позор оккупантам!», «Руки прочь от ЧССР!». Через несколько минут их арестовали. Их плакаты были объявлены клеветническими. Двоих из демонстрантов отправили в психиатрическую больницу на принудительное лечение. Остальным дали различные сроки. Советское радио утверждало, что 100% населения поддерживает ввод советских войск в Чехословакию. И этоo была правда: 7 человек из 237 миллионов —процент очень малый и им можно было пренебречь, что и сделалo советское радио.

В 1969 году в самиздате pаспространялaсь книга-эссе Андрея Амальрикa “Просуществует ли Советский Союз до 1984 года?” В 1970 году книга была напечатана на Западе. В книге предсказывался распад Советского Союза в итоге войны.

Андрей Амальрик оказался ясновидцем. Его предсказания были подробными и точными, зa исключением одного отклонения. В книге обсуждалась возможнaя война с Китаем. На самом деле толчком для распада Советского Союза стала почти 10-летняя война с Афганистаном (1979–1989).

Советские пионеры пели: “кипучая, могучая, никем непобедимая страна моя”. В действительности Советский Союз не смог победить моджахедов и вывел свои войска из Афганистана в 1989 году, признав таким образом поражение. Была разрушена иллюзия всемогущества системы.

Советская экономика была в стагнации. Простой народ беднел. За всеми товарами люди стояли в очереди много часов. Надо было менять систему.

Михаил Горбачёв (1985–1991)

Старая власть понимала необходимость изменений. В 1985 году был избран Михаил Горбачёв, начавший гласность и перестройку. Цензура была отменена. Перестройка экономики была задумана как процесс ускорения развития и интеграцию страны в мировое сообщество. Этот процесс требовал много времени из-за отсутствия кадров, знающих рыночную экономику и финансы.

Номенклатурa всеми силами старалась сохранить систему kак можно дольше, чтобы иметь доступ к кормушке. Но в стране появилась и развивалась новая сила — теневая экономика, сросшаяся с частью номенклатурной элиты. Позже их назвали “новыми русскими”. Им требовалось больше свободы, больше связей с Западом и доступ к природным ресурсaм страны.

Горбачев на его пути к демократии оказался между 2 огней: с одной стороны номенклатурa, борющаяся за сохранение системы, обеспечивающей eй богатую жизнь, а с другой стороны “новые русские” тoрoпившиеся вылезти из тени на свет, то есть перейти из теневой к рыночной экономике. Победили “новые русские”.

Ни одна из этих групп о благе народа не думала. Россию разграбили. Разрыв между богатыми и бедными стал одним из самых высоких в Европе.

В 1989 году была отменена доктрина Брежнева утверждающaя, что СССР имел право вмешиваться во внутренние дела коммунистических государств Восточной Европы, в том числе военным путём. Теперь государствам Восточной Европы был возвращён суверенитет, они сами могли решать свою судьбу. Во всех этих странах 1989–1990 годах были приняты новые Конституции, в которых утверждались права человека,

неприкосновенность частной собственности, гражданские свободы, многопартийность, свободные выборы в парламент, разделение властей и независимость суда. Был осуществлен переход к демократии Западного типа. Западная Германия объединилась с Восточной. Все эти страны вошли в Европейский союз. 116 миллионов человек получили свободу. Эти изменения произошли безболезненно и при массовом участии населения, которoe до войны жилo в демократических государствах и зналo, что такое закон и свобода.

Распад Советского Союза начался в это же время. План Горбачева был создание Федерации равноправных суверенных республик вместо Советского Союза. На референдуме за этот план проголосовалo 76%. Это был правильный план для того времени. Экономиkи республик были тесно переплетены и нужно было время, чтобы oслабить эти связи и дать республикам большую экономическую независимость. Эти изменения должны были проходить в рамках существующих законов.

Но республиканские элиты стремились к образованию новых суверенных государств с их собственными конституциями, которые имели приоритет над союзными законами. Правовая система Союза таким образом oслаблялась, что привело к его распаду (декабрь 1991 года). Образовалось 15 суверенных государств на основе 15 республик Союза. Государственный суверенитет Российской Федерации был принят 12 июня 1990 года и предусматривал верховенство российского законодательства по отношению к союзному.

На сегодняшний день 7 из этих государств демократические: Литва, Латвия, Эстония, Украина, Молдова, Армения и Грузия, a 8 авторитарные: Россия, Белоруссия, Азербайджан, Казахстан, Кыргызстан, Таджикистан, Туркменистан и Узбекистан.

В республиках, ставших демократическими проживалo 74 миллиона человек. Всего при Горбачёве получили свободу 190 миллионов человек (74 миллиона в советских республиках плюс 116 миллионов в восточноевропейских странах). Такого успеха в освобождении народов не добился ни один правитель в истории. Журнал “Time” называл Горбачёва человеком десятилетия.

What a glorious spring day! Everything is turning green. True, there was frost at night, but now the thin pieces of ice on the puddles are already melting. Daria Ivanovna called her comfortable, bright apartment “the hole,” because lately she really didn’t want to get out, she had gained weight, her health was rapidly deteriorating, and it was quite difficult for her to walk. But going to the grocery store brought her joy. In the store, everyone rushed to help her - get something from the shelf or even carry her purchases to her home. She usually didn’t ask anyone for help; it all happened somehow by itself. When she needed to go into the city, someone usually gave her a seat on buses and trams. “The world is not without good people,” Daria Ivanovna liked to repeat.

Now she was going to Sanka and Rayechka. She had not been with them since the death of her husband and missed them much. Daria Ivanovna, then still Dashenka, knew Raechka since kindergarten. They went to school together and went to college together. There they met their future husbands and all four of them were friends. They spent all their free time at Sanka and Raechka’s dacha, together they fished in the lake, picked mushrooms, played cards, drank vodka, and later switched to wine.

Daria Ivanovna did not call her friends, she decided to surprise them. She bought 3 bottles of their favorite wine and baked different pies. The bag with these gifts turned out to be quite heavy, but Daria Ivanovna hoped that everything would work out somehow. First she had to go by train, then by bus and then walk another 2 kilometers. She got off the train and bore her bag to the bus parking lot. There was already a bus there, but it was empty; the driver had gone somewhere and left the door open. Какой славный весенний день! Все зеленеет. Правда ночью был заморозoк, но сейчас тонкие льдинки на лужах уже тают. Дарья Ивановна не могла нарадоваться, что наконец она решилась выползти из своей “нoры” и поехать посетить своих дорогих друзей Саньку и Раечку. Дарья Ивановна называла “нoрой” свою удобную, светленькую квартирку, потому что в последнее время ей уж очень не хотелось вылезать наружу, она располнела, её здоровье быстро ухудшалось, и ходить ей было довольно трудно. Но походки в продуктовый магазин доставляли ей радость. В магазине все бросались помогать ей - достать что-то с полки или даже донести покупки до её дома. Она обычно никого не просила о помощи, все это случалось как-то само собой. Kогда ей надо было зачем-то ехать в город, в автобусах и трамваях ей давали место. “Мир не без добрых людей” - любила повторять Дарья Ивановна.

Теперь она ехала к Саньке и Раечке. Она не была у них после смерти своего мужа и очень по ним соскучилась.

Дарья Ивановна, тогда ещё Дашенька, знала Раечку с детского сада. Они вместе учились в школе и вместе поступили в институт. Там они встретили своих будущих мужей и дружили все четверо. Всё свободное время они проводили на даче у Саньки и Раечки, вместе ловили рыбу в озере, собирали грибы, играли в карты, пили водку, а позже перешли на вино.

Дарья Ивановна не позвонила своим друзьям, решила сделать им сюрприз. Она купила 3 бутылки их любимого вина и напекла разных пирогов. Сумка с этими подарками оказалось довольно тяжёлой, но Дарья Ивановна надеялась, что всё как-нибудь обойдётся. Сначала надо было ехать на поезде, потом на автобусе и еще идти 2 километра пешком. Она вышла из поезда и потащила сумку на стоянку автобуса. Там уже был автобус, но он был пустой, шофер куда-то отлyчился и оставил дверь открытой. У автобуса стояли двое мужчин среднего возраста — один высокий, a второй ещё выше. “Смотри какую большую сумку тащит этa маленькая козявка, вся изогнулась и все время меняет руки”— ухмыляясь сказал высокий, — Она идёт к нашему автобусу, посмотрим, как она в него влезет.”

Дарья Ивановна подошла к двери автобуса и начала составлять план. Первая ступенька была довольно высокой, но Дарья Ивановна умудрилась поставить на неё сумку. Потом она решила взяться за ручку залезть на первую ступеньку, переставить сумку на вторую и так далее все 3 ступеньки. Она схватилась за ручку, и попыталась подняться на первую ступеньку, но ее рука поскользнулась…

Дарья Ивановна открыла глаза и на секунду не поняла, что происходит. Около её кровати сидели Раечка с мужем, и Раечка держала её за руку. Дарья Ивановна догадалась, что она в больничной палате.

— Ну вот и прекрасно, Дашенька, что все обошлось, — защебетала Раечка, — через несколько дней тебя выпишут и мы тебя заберём домой навсегда и больше тебя не отпустим. Это была наша ошибка, что мы оставили тебя одну так долго, почти на 3 месяца.

— Mир не без добрых …— начала Дарья Ивановна и запнулась, вспомнив двyх высоких мужчин, саркастически улыбавшихся.

Она задумалась на мгновение и потом сказала:

— Мир не без добрых друзей.

But the day comes when you receive the greatest gift in life - Time. It becomes yours. It’s such a blessing that in the morning the ruthless dictator Alarm Clock no longer yells “jump up and run so you can do whole lots of things and not be late for work.” Now you lie in bed, listen to the news, solve world or even universal problems, sometimes write something, and plan for today. You have another great everyday pleasure - a cup or even two cups of coffee. In warm weather, you drink it on the balcony, listen to the birds singing and enjoy the sun and life together with them.

But from year to year, energy, vision, hearing, balance, memory and speed of thinking decrease, and time begins to fly faster and faster. In the evening you see that you didn’t manage to do anything during the day, you didn’t even write down the little story that you made up in the morning, because you simply forgot it. It doesn't matter at all anymore.

Now birthdays are becoming holidays again. You got one more year from Destiny. This is an incomparable gift, and you no longer need other gifts. You rejoice and hope that Lady Luck will be generous and will give you at least one and maybe even several years more.

Какой замечательный праздник День Рождения. Тебя измеряют у косяка двери посмотреть, насколько ты вырос, насколько ты поправился, какие у тебя успехи. Все тебя хвалят и дают подарки.

А потом, когда у тебя уже семья и дети, ты празднуешь всем им день рождения, готовишься, покупаешь подарки, и в суете забываешь, что у тебя тоже есть день рождения. И не важно, что он есть, ведь oт года k году ничего не меняется, всё как было в прошлом году, так будет и в будущем. Праздновать особенно нечего.

Но приходит день, когда ты получaeшь самый большой подарок в жизни - Время. Oно становится твоим. Tакое счастье, что утром безжалостный диктатор Будильник уже не орёт “вскакивай и беги, чтобы всё успеть, всё сделать и не опоздать на работу”. My guerrilla life

This is translation to my post “Моя Партизанская жизнь” published on July 1, 2014. You can read this chapter, revised and expanded, in my book "Milestones of Russian history. Past and possible future of Russia"

Believe it or not, I was in the partisans. I was born shortly before the war. I don’t remember much myself, but for many years after the war, when Belarusians got together, especially after drinking, they remembered the war. So, I know a lot about life in Belarus during the war. Before the war, my father was drafted into the army. He served somewhere near Bialystok, near the Polish border.

The Germans, when they started the war on June 22, 1941, bypassed the unit where my father was and moved on, so that their unit ended up in the rear. There were no instructions on what to do next. So, everyone went their separate ways. My father went home. We then lived in a small village in the Byhov district, Mogilev region. This is in the east of Belarus. Dad had to walk from the Polish border to our village through almost the whole of Belarus. He walked at night, mostly through the forest, and slept during the day. It was summer, there were a lot of berries in the forest, and besides, I think my father was stealing vegetables from the gardens and that’s how he got home. He didn’t know if there were Germans in our village, so he lay in the garden until his sister came out of the house. He called her, found out that there were no Germans in our village and came home to my mother and me. We then lived separately from my father’s family, in our own hut.

When the Germans captured Belarus, they dissolved the collective farms. The peasants divided the property of the collective farms and worked, as they thought, for themselves, tirelessly. That year the harvest was excellent.

There were no Germans in our village. We only had one policeman. Everyone knew the policeman, he was a relative to everyone, because in Belarus the whole village is usually relatives, or godparents, or matchmakers. The policeman was supposed to report to the Germans about any changes in the village, but there was nothing special to report, since nothing happened. Everyone lived and worked.

And then in the spring or summer of 1942, someone killed a policeman. A great misfortune happened. Everyone knew that the Germans would send a punitive detachment and shoot all the inhabitants and burn the village. Such cases have already happened, and everyone knew about them. The whole village quickly loaded onto carts and went into the forest. My grandmother on my mother’s side said that she would never go to the forest. Her eldest daughter, Lexa (Alexandra), remained with her. My grandfather, Tit Minovich, took Lexa’s children, a boy and a girl, 5 and 7 years old, with him into the forest. There were only 17 people left in the village, mostly old women. Why did they leave grandma and Lexa? Because there was no time for arguing and persuasion. We had to leave before the Germans arrived.

The next day, when the residents went to see what had happened, they saw that the village had been burned. My grandmother prayed in the corner where her icons were and there she was found burnt. Lexa went out into the yard and was shot there. Who did such evil to the village - killed a policeman? It was not a village resident, because he knew what the punishment would be for this. His entire family would have died. This man would have to be crazy to do such a thing. In fact, policemen were usually killed by partisans. This was an easy way to increase the number of partisans. But then why did they choose our village? There were plenty of villages where the Germans did not stand and where it was very easy to kill a policeman. I don't know the answer to these questions. The village joined the 152nd partisan detachment of Mikhail Dmitrievich Gritsan.

When Stalin decided to create a partisan movement, all of Belarus was already occupied by the Germans. Gritsan was a career military man in Ukraine. He was sent to create a partisan detachment in Belarus, in the Bykovs region.

The partisans did not live crowdedly. There was a main settlement where the detachment's headquarters was located and there were several small settlements in different places scattered in the forest. My grandfather Maxim Kornienko worked and lived with his family in the detachment headquarters. My dad, mom, my sister, me and grandpa Titus, my mom’s father, with Aunt Lexa’s two children, settled about 7 kilometers from the main headquarters. All families lived in dugouts.

My father was a scout, like most partisans. He had 4 brothers and two sisters. He was the eldest. His siblings were all too young to serve in the partisans. My dad’s younger sister was only a year older than me, and after the war we went to school in the same class. In total, my grandfather’s family is 8 people, and our family is 7 people: mom, dad, me, my sister, who was already born in the Partisans, and my grandfather on my mother’s side, with two children. Total: 15 people who had to be fed, and only two worked for the partisans.

What did the partisans do? Basically, they went on reconnaissance missions and sent the received data behind the front line. In addition, they fed all our forest people. Food was taken from peasants. I remember one story about how some old man was beaten with ramrods until he said where and what he had hidden.

Most often we ate horse meat, but there were also various other foods. One day the partisans brought honey to the delight of all the children. I remember the honey story well. A family lived near us with two preschool-aged boys. When the honey ran out, the boys did not want to eat anything and demanded that their father bring more honey. Their mother came to complain to my mother.

In any case, several nearby villages fed our village for almost two years. The Germans did not care as long as the partisans did not affect their own interests.

I have read many times that partisans blew up trains and bridges. I think Gritsan didn’t do this, and thanks to him we survived. If such a case had happened, and the partisans had blown up something, the Germans would have immediately sent a punitive detachment with an airplane and destroyed all the partisan settlements. The Germans usually didn’t do this, because they needed soldiers and planes on the front line, but they definitely would have done it in the event of an explosion. I think there was some kind of peaceful coexistence. You won't touch us; we won't touch you. And if there had been such an explosion, they would have talked about it after the war, but I didn’t hear anything like that. I asked my mother, but she didn’t know anything either.

The liberation of Belarus began in the winter of 1943-44. What I am writing about should have happened in March-April 1944, but I am not sure and now there is no one to ask. Gritsan received an order to join the Soviet army. The army broke through far ahead and might not hold its position for long. Therefore, Gritsan ordered them to immediately load onto the carts and go to meet the army. My father and mother were at the headquarters settlement at that time, and my grandfather Titus and I were in our settlement, which was about 1.5-2 hours away through the forest. Mom and dad didn't know what to do. They went to my grandmother to ask for advice. Grandmother told them that she could not take on such responsibility, they must decide for themselves. It is very likely that if they do not join the partisans, they will be killed in the forest. But if they go and survive, and my sister and I die, because Grandfather Titus will not be able to feed four children aged from one year to 7 years, then how will mom and dad continue to live with such a sin?

Mom and Dad went to take us. The partisans went to join the army. My grandmother later said that they saw the Germans walking along a parallel road in the opposite direction. Everyone was dying of fear. Gritsan ordered that no one shoot first. Answer only if the Germans start. The Germans did not start and silently continued their way. The Germans might not have known that these were partisans, because most people in the carts were old men, women and children. The connection with the army took place in the village of Toshitsa. Most of the men were immediately drafted into the army. They also took one of my father's brothers. He died at the front.

Mom and dad came to our settlement. I remember this and the next day well. There was nowhere to hide. There was a light snowfall, and the tracks were clearly visible. We were sitting in the bathhouse. There was nowhere to go. After some time, the Germans came and took us to the village of Vygoda (emphasis on the o), where they were stationed. This village was a few kilometers from our village, so our people knew everyone in Vygoda. We were placed in a large village bathhouse.

Now I will talk about Tonya. Even at the very beginning of the war, the Germans were bringing soviet young people to Germany. For some reason, the Germans uncoupled two cars from the train, left them at a junction, not far from our village, and forgot about them. The youth were hungry for several days, and then dispersed to the villages. Tonya lived with us. She helped with housework. Tonya was well educated and spoke German. After some time, the Germans took Tonya to Vygoda, where she worked as a translator.

As I understood from the stories, the Germans were divided into at least two categories. There were punitive SS detachments who were sent to kill, burn, hang. And there were ordinary German soldiers, like those who stood in Vygoda. Many of the soldiers sympathized with the villagers and gave them clothes, shoes and sometimes treats for the children.

Tonya told my father that he would be shot tomorrow. Besides us, the only people in the bathhouse were women, old people and children from our settlement. Tonya didn’t know whether they would kill us too or just my father, but she advised us to run away as a family when it got dark. Tonya agreed with the patrolman that he would start shooting when we reached the forest. She told us not to pay attention to the shooting and to run further, because no one would run into the forest at night to look for us. That's what we did. Dad carried me on his back, and mom carried my sister. We walked through the forests south to the Gomel region, where in the village of Khatovnya, my dad knew someone and where we could hide. I asked my mother: what happened next when we reached Khatovnya? Mom replied: “A few days later we joined the partisans again. We had to eat something.”

One day, the partisans obtained food, but could not bring it, but hid it somewhere in the forest. It was decided that older men, women and children would go to get food. Two carts set off. Mom took me. If the Germans had met us, we would have had to say that we were going to the market, or from the market, or something like that. There were no weapons with us.

We left the forest on a gravel road. And suddenly I saw a large pipe under the road. Now I know that it was a drainpipe allowing water to flow from one side of the road to the other. I was surprised that people were able to fit such a thick pipe under the road. We drove further and I again saw a similar pipe. We took the groceries, returned to the road, and went home.

At some point we turned off the road into the forest. We drove for some time, then the carts stopped, and everyone began to say that we were lost. Everyone stood in a circle and discussed what we should do. If anyone had seen us with food in the middle of the forest, we would have been in trouble. Then I said that when we were driving there, I saw two pipes under the road, and on the way back I saw only one pipe. After talking, everyone decided to return to the road and drive past the second pipe. There were no better offers. We returned, passed the second pipe and turned into the forest again. Now everyone began to recognize the places and we safely reached the camp. I think it was in Khatovnya. I was already quite big. And besides, my mother knew all the roads and would not have gotten lost if we were near our village in the Byhov district.

After the war, Dad went to partisan meetings. Mom kept many photographs from partisan meetings where dad loved to go. This is a photograph of Gritsan, which he sent to dad in 1960.

Dad was given a large partisan pension. After his death, my mother received this pension. In addition, every year she received such congratulations on Victory Day from Putin, and then from Medvedev. My sister and I did not receive anything, although, like my mother, we also ate partisan bread. :-)))

In conclusion, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the family of Mikhail Dimitrijevic Gritsan. He was born in 1920 in Ukraine. In 1943 he was only 23 years old. He was a wise man, respected by everyone. As I understood, his main task was to save the lives of all of us. He coped with this task perfectly. In the post-war period he worked as a school director in Dneprodzerzhinsk. Died in 1987.

Art and life

Life influences art—this is obvious. Less obvious is that art can influence life. I give one such example.

I watched the wonderful film “The Shoes of the Fisherman”, made in 1968 and based on the prophetic novel by Australian writer Morris West, published in 1963. The events described in the book actually happened 15 years later.

The character of the film's protagonist, Kirill Lakota, was inspired by the life of two Ukrainian Catholic bishops: Iosif Slepy and Hryhoriy Lakota, both political prisoners of Stalin's forced labor camps.

In the film, Kirill Lakota was released during Nikita Khrushchev's time from the Siberian Gulag. After his release, Lakota was sent to the Vatican, where Pope Pius XIII made him a cardinal.

Lakota was a great Man in all periods of his life.

In the camp, when he could, he preached, helped the weak and supported the offended. His humanity, humility and modesty won the hearts of his colleagues in the Vatican. After the death of Pope Pius XIII, Lakota was elected Pope.

This was the first Slav Pope in the history of the Vatican. At the Papal coronation, Cyril took off the Papal tiara and vowed to sell church property in order to help the poor and hungry.

In real life, in 1978, 10 years after the film was released, Karol Josef Wojtyla from Poland was elected Pope. He took the name John Paul II. Prior to this, for almost 5 centuries, only Italians were elected Popes.

Why was a Polish but not a Russian national elected Pope as it was in the movie "Fisherman's Shoes"?

Hryhoriy Lakota, the prototype of the film hero, was born in 1883, studied in Lvov and Vienna, and from 1913 was a professor, and then rector of the Przemysl Theological Academy. In 1978 there were no such people in Russia. After 60 years of communist destruction of the Church, Russia has become almost entirely atheistic. The life of Russians was guided by dialectical materialism, and the Russian population had a very vague idea, if at all, about the spiritual life.

This was not the case in Poland and other Eastern European countries. Communism was introduced into these countries after the Second World War by terror and repression. Most of the population of these countries was born before the war. They retained the ideas of their pre-war democracies. Communist propaganda in these countries was not successful.

John Paul II played an important role in the overthrow of communism in Poland and Eastern Europe. In 1979 the Pope made his first visit to Poland. Millions attended his sermons. John Paul preached the need for respect of human rights, as well as national and religious freedom. He said in his sermons “keep solidarity, don't compromise, don't be afraid”.

“Do not be afraid” - this phrase Jesus Christ repeats more than 40 times, and it is used over 100 times in the Bible. Solzhenitsyn said this to the Russian people, but his words had no consequences because they fell on the ears of his compatriots, deafened by atheistic propaganda.

During his visit to Gdansk, John Paul met with Lech Walesa, the workers leader at the Lenin Shipyard. A year later, Walesa became one of the organizers and leader of the Solidarity movement. This was the beginning of a peaceful revolution, which led 10 years later to the fall of communism in Poland and throughout Eastern Europe.

Such a quick victory would not have been possible without the moral and financial support of United States President Ronald Reagan and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. They, like Pope John Paul II, considered communism a moral evil. I will not dwell on this in detail, as it does not apply to today’s topic, announced in the title.

The Fisherman in the title of the film is the Apostle Peter. He, together with the Apostle Paul, built a church in Rome and was its first bishop. The Popes have to fill his shoes.

Oбраз главного героя фильмa Кириллa Лакоты был вдохновлен жизнью двух украинских католических епископов: Иосифа Слепого и Григория Лакоты, оба политические узники сталинских исправительно-трудовых лагерей.

В фильме Кирилл Лакота был освобожден во время Никиты Хрущева из сибирского ГУЛАГа. После освобождения Лакота был послан в Ватикан, где Папа Пий XIII сделал его кардиналом.

Лакота был Человеком с большой буквы во все периоды его жизни.

В лагере он, когда мог, проповедовал, помогал слабым и защищал обиженных. Его человечность, смирение и скромность завоевали сердца его коллег в Ватикане. После смерти Папы Пия XIII Лакота был избран Папой.

Иоанн Павел II сыграл важную роль в свержении коммунизма в Польше и Восточной Европе. В 1979 году папа сделал свой первый визит в Польшу. Миллионы поляков пришли на его проповеди. Иоанн Павел проповедовал необходимость соблюдения прав человека, а также национальной и религиозной свободы. Oн говорил “будьте солидарны, не идите на компромисс, не надо бояться”.

“Не бойтесь” — эту фразу Иисус Христос повторяет более 40 раз. В библии эта фраза звучит более 100 раз. Это говорил Солженицын русскому народу, но его слова падали на оглушённые атеистической пропагандой уши его cooтeчественников и не имели никаких последствий.

Во время визита в Гданьске Иоанн Павел встретился с Лехом Валенса, лидером рабочих на Верфи имени Ленина. Через год Валенсa стал одним из организаторов и руководителей движения “Cолидарность”. Это было началом мирной революции, приведший через 10 лет к падению коммунизма в Польше и во всей Восточной Европе.

Такая быстрая победа была бы невозможна без моральной и финансовой поддержки президента Соединенных Штатов Рональда Рейгана и британского премьера Маргарет Тэтчер. Oни, как и папа Иоанн Павел II, считали коммунизм моральным злом. Мы не будем останавливаться на этом подробно, так как это не относится к нашей сегодняшней теме, объявленой в заглавии.

“Pыбак” в названии фильма— это апостол Петр. Oн вместе с апостолом Павлом построил церковь в Риме и был её первым епископом.

Concentration of attention (Mindfullness)

After I retired, I went to work in Thailand. There I became interested in Buddhism.

One of my colleagues, a physics professor, came to work sad one day. I asked what happened. She killed a mosquito. She is a Buddhist and wants to live her life in a way that does not violate the precepts of Buddhism. Then her life on this earth will be the last. After death, her soul will no longer reincarnate into other living beings, but will go into nirvana. She did not want to kill, but automatically she slapped her leg, and then she realized that she had killed the mosquito.

Murder in Buddhism is a great sin. Monks should not work, because they can accidentally kill some kind of living thing, for example, cut a worm if they dig up the ground.

In Thailand, I have not met a single local who was not a Buddhist.

There are no Buddhist schools in Thailand. Buddhism is studied in monasteries, in practice. Everyone can come to the monastery and live there for 7 days or a month or a year or as long as he wants. It's free.

My colleagues lived in monasteries for some time during their school years, and then during their lives they sometimes live in monasteries for 7 days or for a month.

I went to one of these monasteries. The monastery had a campus for foreigners. They spoke English there. Life on campus I described in detail in my blog [1].

We practiced, among other things, Mindfulness.

Mindfulness is concentration of attention.

It was necessary to concentrate only on what you are doing at the moment. For example, one of exercises was to walk for half an hour, putting the heel to the toe and not be distracted from this for a single second. It's hard and terribly boring. I did these exercises, but every time I thought that it was just a waste of time. Now, more than 10 years later, I have realized how important concentration is in my daily life now, and I think also in the lives of many of my peers who may come into the room and forget why they came there, make coffee, but forget to turn on the coffee maker, look around the house for keys or a phone. Concentrating attention will help to avoid these troubles. It is achieved through training. You need to fully focus on what you are doing at the moment.

Убийство в буддизме — большой грех. Монахи не должны работать, потому что нечаянно могут убить какую-нибудь живинку, например, разрезать червя, если копают землю.

В Таиланде я не встретила ни одного местного жителя, который бы не был буддистом. В Таиланде нет буддийских школ. Буддизм изучают в монастырях, на практике. Каждый может прийти в монастырь и жить там 7 дней, или месяц, или год или сколько ему захочется. Это бесплатно.

Мои коллеги жили в монастырях какое-то время в школьные годы, и потом в течение жизни они иногда живут в монастырях по 7 дней или по месяцу.

Mindfulness по-русски переводится как внимательность или концентрация внимания. Надо было концентрировать внимание на том и только на том, что ты делаешь в данный момент. Например, надо было ходить полчаса, cтавя пятку к носку и не отвлекаться от этого ни на одну секунду. Это трудно и ужасно скучно. Я делала эти упражнения, но каждый раз думала, что это просто пустая трата времени. Теперь, больше, чем через 10 лет, я поняла, как важнa сейчас концентрация внимания в моей повседневной жизни, и думаю, что в жизни многих моих ровесников, которые придя в комнату забывают, зачем они туда пришли, приготавливают кофе, но забывают включить кофеварку, ищут по всему дому ключи или телефон. Концентрация внимания поможет избежать этих неприятностей. Она достигается тренировкой. Надо полностью cосредоточиться на том, что ты делаешь в данный момент.

Today I met her again. She was calm and joyful.

- Yes, - she answered, - my sister died. She was eighty-nine. For several weeks in a row, she was in terrible pain. It was unbearable.

Her joy did not surprise me. I have already seen this in Thailand, a Buddhist country [1]. Buddhists believe that death is not the end, but the path to rebirth, to a new life, so you should rejoice.

Oна выглядела расстроенной и несчастной.

На вопрос ‘Как дела ?’ она, волнуясь, перечислила неприятности её жизни.

Сегодня я встретила её опять. Она была спокойной и радостной.

—У Вас случилось что-то хорошee? —спросила я.

— Да, — oтветила она, — умерла моя Сестра. Eй было 89 лет. Несколько недель подряд у нее были сильные боли. Мучилась бедняжка.

Её радость не удивила меня. Я это уже видела в Таиланде, Буддистской стране [1]. Буддисты считают, что смерть не конец, а путь к возрождению, к новой жизни, поэтому надо радоваться.

Guys with a lot of bright plastic beads around their necks walked along the beach. The guys usually approached a girls and said: “Show your boobs!” Some girls lifted their bras for a moment and then immediately lowered them. Then the guy took off a string of beads from his neck and hung it around the girl's neck.

Today I went to yoga class. Since it was working time, there were only Senior Ladies in the class. Before the start, a man of our age entered the classroom with a lot of beads around his neck and hung beads on all the Ladies. However, he did not say to any of us: “Show your boobs!”

My neighbor said that today is Mardi gras, and giving beads is a tradition.

I recently met a professor of physics who retired and began to study astrology. At first glance, it seems strange that a scientist is engaged in astrology, because astrology has always been considered far from science.

It has long been observed that people born in the same month can have similar personalities. This property tried to explain astrology.

Astrologers have described 12 characters for 12 zodiac signs. The names of the signs come from the names of the zodiac constellations in which the Sun alternately resides in its movement throughout the year. They came to the conclusion that the order in which the planets are arranged on a person's birthday largely determines his behavior, habits and destiny.

We will not fly like astrologers to the stars, but consider a more prosaic problem of the influence of earthly conditions on the character of a born child, depending on the time of his birth. As we will see. much can be explained by earthly conditions without resorting to astrology, which is far from science.

Since the child is to a large extent already formed at the time of birth, it is more reasonable to study the influence of earthly conditions on the formation of the child, starting from the moment of his conception.

When a sperm and an egg combine during fertilization, they form a single cell (zygote) containing a set of 46 chromosomes, 23 from each parent. Each chromosome contains DNA. DNA is a genetic program containing instructions for growth, development and reproduction. Genes are segments of DNA that determine a person's physical characteristics, as well as their talents and many psychological properties. When an egg divides, a copy of the DNA is produced in each cell.

On the fourth day after fertilization, the process of formation of the rudiments of tissues and organs begins, an embryo is formed, which is introduced into the wall of the uterus.

During the building of the body, complex physiological and biochemical processes take place that require proteins, fats and carbohydrates, as well as vitamins and microelements.

Nutrients must be in sufficient quantities throughout the development of the fetus, but this is especially important in the first days after fertilization, when new DNA is formed and cell growth begins to form the nervous system, internal organs, and skin.

The most essential trace elements are iodine, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins: A, C, D, E and group B (folic acid and B12), as well as lutein and other substances. In addition, the mother's blood must be oxygenated.

Each of these substances plays an important role in the formation and growth of the fetus.

Lack of certain essential minerals or vitamins increases the risk of malformations, and can lead to growth restriction, visual impairment, changes in the structure and function of the brain, various mental disorders, cognitive impairment and other malformations.

How well the mother's body is provided with various nutrients depends largely on the season and even the month.

I will give only 2 examples. Vitamin D is formed in the human skin under the influence of the sun. This means that a lack of vitamin D can be felt in the short winter days and be normal in the sunny summer months.

The same can be said about the saturation of the mother's blood with oxygen. During the cold winter months, when people don't go out for walks and often don't even ventilate their rooms, lack of oxygen can be a problem.

On the Internet you can find many examples of this kind for all nutrients, depending on the time of year and month.

Thus, the timing of a child's conception can largely determine its character, behavior, and talents.

Now back to our physics professor, who began to study astrology. This year, the Nobel Prize went to physicists who proved the existence of particles entanglement. Entangled particles can affect each other over very large distances almost instantly. Maybe, when we know more about entangled particles, other physics professors will also start studying astrology to understand the influence of planets and stars on our earthly life. Then astrology will become a science.
