We traveled from Vancouver to Summerland to Castlegar to Calgary to Duncan to Lake Cowichan to Sooke to Salt Spring Island to Victoria to Parksville and back to Sooke.&amp;nbsp; We wanted to see EVERYBODY but it just WAS NOT possible.

Even though it was entirely in Spanish (barring one word - &quot;windows&quot;) I was able to understand and benefit from the program.

A few weekends ago we were given a surprise welcome party.&amp;nbsp; We were told it was going to be a congregation get-together. Sunshine, lollipops and RAINBOWS

I&#39;m sick in bed once again.&amp;nbsp;Part of the package deal of being here. This time I have company. Friends of ours went back to England for 3 weeks, so we are looking after their 2 cats.&amp;nbsp; It&#39;s a bit of a love/hate relationship. They are affectionate and there is nothing like a purring cat on your lap. But they also keep us up at night meowing and playing.

It is usually  held here in our city, and this time the venue was new, a Fiesta Hall (that  they usually rent out for parties – kind of like a community  hall.)

Two things were unusual:

1. There was a party in the hall  on Saturday night, so we didn’t get ‘possession’ until 3 am.
