Timeline Movie Maker is a collaborative project of Facebook and Definition 6 which makes a little movie of around 55 seconds out of your timeline profile covering all the important and precious moments with an option of customizable background music. AT&T to Sell HTC Titan II for $200 and Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone for $100 in US on 8 April

The Nokia Lumia 900's long journey to the United States is nearly finished, with AT&T confirming an April 8 release date and $100 price tag for the stylish Nokia Windows Phone.

AT&T confirmed the Lumia 900 launch details, including the $100 on-contract price, that has been rumored for some time. With most high-end smartphones selling for $200 and up, Microsoft and Nokia are banking on the Lumia 900's lower price to finally get some mainstream attention in the United States. The two companies formed a partnership to produce Windows Phones in early 2011, and so far Nokia has launched the Lumia 710 on T-Mobile and the Lumia 800 outside the United States.

The Lumia 900's standout feature is its design. The phone is built around a single slab of plastic called polycarbonate, which almost has a metallic feel. It's larger than the Lumia 800, with a flat 4.3-inch AMOLED display instead of the Lumia 800's 3.7-inch convex glass display.

Other specs include an 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a single-core 1.4 GHz processor, 16 GB of storage a 1-megapixel front-facing camera, 512 MB of RAM and an 1830 mAh battery.

Along with the Lumia 900, AT&T also announced that it will launch the HTC Titan II on April 8 for $200, making them the first 4G LTE Windows Phones.Still unclear, though, is how much battery life users can expect with LTE turned on. LTE networks can be roughly 10 times faster than 3G, but they've been battery killers, both on AT&T and Verizon Wireless.

To market the Lumia 900 and other Windows Phones, Microsoft and its partners will reportedly spend roughly $200 million in 2012, according to Paul Thurrott. For now, Microsoft is running a “Smoked By Windows Phone” campaign in its handful of retail stores, where users are challenged to perform everyday tasks faster on their own non-Windows Phone handsets. Expect a lot more advertising once Nokia's Lumia 900 hits U.S. shores.

The upcoming products of Apple as by rumors are as follows:

Apple may schedule the next WWDC event this 11th, June 2012.
iPhone 5 / 4G LTE with 3.5 Inch Display is expected to be released this October 2012.
Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and iMac likely to get Retina Display for more sharper images and that uses more GPU Power and RAM.

This will get more attention as many thinks that Apple will be releasing their next iPhone which may be iPhone 5 or iPhone 4G LTE or The New iPhone or iPhone 5th Generation. Only God and Tim Cook knows what it is going to be named. As we can see that recent iPad 3 release happened few days ago, gave a huge question over the name of it across the web, and people started to search across Google and the Apple Live Event logs for the name of the iPad once the release of the new iPad got over.

Because its totally new, unexpected and a big surprise to the Apple fans across the globe. Apple has changed their way of naming the iPad to Generation than by giving some numbers after iPad. So what we can expect this 11th, June 2012 WWDC event, and the release of Mountain Lion OS X Final or Stable version and some demonstration of iOS 6. This has been in development for some time and we can guess easily that the upcoming event can be all about Mac OS X.

Angry Birds Space may come for Windows Phone 7

It looks like Angry Birds Space will be making it to Windows Phone 7 after all. The game officially debuted Thursday on Android and iOS, however, Rovio indicated that it didn’t have plans to ever bring the game to Windows Phone 7.

“If you look at activations, Apple’s iOS and Android are clearly bigger than any other platform.” Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka said in an interview with Bloomberg. “We want to be on all screens, but we have to consider the cost of supplying the smaller platforms. With Windows Phone it’s a lot of work to technically support it”

Less than 24 hours later, however, Rovio has done a 180, with Rovio Chief Executive Mikael Hed telling Reuters Friday “We are working towards getting Angry Birds Space to WP7.”

The original Angry Birds is currently the most popular game available for Window Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 currently trails behind Android and iOS in sales and developer support, Rovio choosing to not release new games onto the platform could potentially be a blow to Microsoft’s ability to continue to grow the platform in the future.

How to roll back to Windows 7 from Windows 8 without fresh installation?

I just installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview 64-bit for trial but unfortunately it replaced my current operating system (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) completely so I decided to work on it for a while but later I found that most of my programs are either not working properly or not working at all and many other issues.

So I decided to get back my previous Windows 7. I checked and luckily found Windows.old folder in my C: drive with all the Windows 7 files in it.

So I searched more on getting back or rolling back to windows 7 from Windows 8 Consumer preview but couldn't find anything good on it. Everywhere they said to have a fresh install of Windows 7 but unfortunately I was not having Windows 7 DVD with me the only thing which i had was Windows.old folder. So i searched more and found something similar on Microsoft support site as:

"How to restore a computer to a previous Windows installation after you install Windows Vista"

So I read it fully and found that many things which were mentioned there need to be changed for it to work with our case, so I make out similar process for

"How to restore to previous Windows 7 installation after you install Windows 8 Consumer preview"

as mentioned below:

Things needed before starting the whole process:

Windows 7 DVD or any other Windows CD which can be used to start COMMAND Prompt after booting.
Pen and Paper to note down the steps as you will have to apply many commands in CMD Prompt or better take a print out.

SUMMARY

This article describes how to manually restore a previous Windows installation on the computer to replace the current Windows installation from Windows.old folder.

To do this, you must use the command prompt, and you must type specific commands at the command prompt to rename and to move folders from different locations of Windows.

This article is intended for a beginning to intermediate computer user so one should at least have a basic knowledge of installing Windows and all.

You may find it easier to follow the steps if you print this article first.

Step 1: Determine whether there is a Windows.OLD folder and whether there is sufficient free space on the Windows hard disk

Find out how much space is available on Local Disk (C:) under the Hard Disk Drives area.
In the Hard Disk Drives area, double-click Local Disk (C:), and then determine whether the Windows.OLD folder exists.
Important If the Windows.OLD folder does not exist, you cannot follow the steps in this article to restore the previous Windows installation to this computer.
Right-click the Windows.OLD folder and determine the size of the folder. Determine whether the Windows.OLD folder is smaller than the free space that is available for Local Disk (C:) in step 2.
NOTE Unhide the folder named ProgramData in both C: and in Windows.old folder.

Note If the Windows.OLD folder is two times as large as the free space that is available for the Local Disk (C:) entry, you may be unable to restore the previous Windows installation.

Step 2: Start the Windows Recovery Environment.

The main aim of this step is to open Command Prompt and determine the drive considered as the Windows Installation Drive as it can be other then your default drive i.e. C:.

Put the Windows 7 installation disc in the DVD drive, and then restart the computer.
Press a key when you are prompted to restart from the disc.
In the Install Windows window, select a language, a keyboard input method or other input method, and then click Next.
In the Install Windows window, click Repair your computer.
In the System Recovery Options window, click the version of the Windows operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next. NOTE: At this point check that which drive has been considered as the Windows Installation drive as it can be other then C: and note it down.
In the System Recovery Options window, click Command Prompt.

The Command Prompt window opens, and it displays the command prompt. The command prompt is where you will type the commands that are described in the following steps.

Step 3: Rename the Windows Vista folders

Note When you type one or more of the commands at the command prompt in the following steps in this section, and you then press ENTER, you may receive the following message:

The system cannot find the file specified.

If you receive this message, go to the next step in this section, and then type the command in that next step.

Type the following commands at the command prompt:

Here I am taking Drive E: as the Windows Installation Drive. So use the drive name you find instead of E:
in your case.

1. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

E: and then press enter

2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

ren Windows Windows.DP

3. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

ren "Program Files" "Program Files.DP"

4. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

ren "Program Files (x86)" "Program Files (x86).DP"

5. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

ren Users Users.DP

6. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

ren ProgramData ProgramData.DP

NOTE It's ProgramData without space not Program Data.

Step 4: Copy the contents or move the contents of the Windows.OLD folder

Type the following commands at the command prompt:

Here also I am taking Drive E: as the Windows Installation Drive. So use the drive name you find instead of E: for your situation.

1. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

move /y e:\windows.old\windows c:\

2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

move /y "e:\windows.old\program files" c:\

3. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

move /y "e:\windows.old\program files (x86)" c:\

4. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

move /y e:\windows.old\Users c:\

5. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

move /y e:\windows.old\ProgramData c:\

Step 5: Close the Command Prompt window, and then click Restart

Type the following command at the command prompt, and then press ENTER:

exit

Click Restart.The previous Windows installation will start.
