The recently announced LG G Pad 7 has been through AnTuTu benchmark testing and now we have the leaked specs of the device.

LG G Pad 7 code-named LG V400 is rocking a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, 7-inch 1280x800 resolution display and Android 4.4.2 kitKat. It has a 3.2MP back camera and 1.3MP front front-facing camera.

Battery and price info has not been out but looking at the specs, the tab will be budget oriented.

LG Announced New Range Of G Pad Tablets

After the success of LG G Pad 8.3 , LG is again trying to come into tablet market and the company recently announced the new range of G Pad tablet; the 7.0-inch, 8.0-inch and 10.1-inch tablets.

LG didn't say anything about the specs of the device. On the software side, expect to get LG unique software features like QPair 2.0 and LG's unique Knock Code secure unlocking option.

The new devices will be unveiled in MedPI 2014 along with expected LG G3.

Scientists Finally Confirm The Existence Of 117th Element Of The Periodic Table

Back in 2010, a research was being conducted with US Russian Collaboration to find the 117th element of the periodic table. They announced that they had found 117 protons in an element. Although the element was not confirmed that temporarily named it as "Ununseptium." Now after 4 years, the evidence has finally arrived.

Unuseptium was made calcium 48 and berkelium 249. It resulted in emission of alpha particles which were the product of two decay chains, originating an atom with 117 protons and 177 neutrons.

Th above experiment proves the existence of 117th element of the periodic table but we have to find a better way of making that element and also a better and easy name.

Amazon device is expected to have a 4.7-inch 720p LCD display with a Snapdragon processor and 2GB RAM. The phone has six cameras in total including a 13MP shooter at the back. These six cameras include back camera, front camera and one camera at each corner of the device. What's good about this phone is that it is expected to have a 3D display.

Qualcomm Announce Snapdragon 808 And 810 64-bit Processors

Qualcomm has finally announced its most powerful 64-bit processors lineup compromising of Snapdragon 808 and 810 having 6 or 8 cores.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is an Octa-core processor using the company's own technology to manage the cores. It has a quad-core A57 20nm part and a less powerful A53 part. Snapdragon 810 will use Adreno 430 GPU whchs is 30% faster than Adreno 420. A new LPDDR4-1600 RAM interface has also been introduced with it.

On the other hand Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 is a less powerful version of 810. It uses dual Cortex A57s and quad-core A53s. It is coupled Adreno 418 GPU which is 20% faster than the Adreno 330. Snapdragon 808 uses a 64-bit wide LPDDR3-933 interface.

Both chip-sets will offer Category 6 LTE, with speeds up to 300Mbs. Sadly these chips are expected to put in use in devices which will be released in second half of 2015. But don't worry Snapdragon 805 will be offered in the upcoming flagship devices like the rumored Note 4 or S5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 With QHD Display And Snapdragon 805 Appears In Benchmarks

A Samsung device smartphones dubbed as SM-G906S has appeared in GFX benchmarks which is supposed to be a high-powered version of the Samsung Galaxy S5.

We have been hearing rumors about a premium version of Samsung Galaxy S5 which has yet to be announced.The device shown in the benchmarks as may be that version of GS5 featuring 5.2" QHD display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. It also supports an unannounced 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor. The device featured might not be S5 tbecause the rumored one has codename(SM-G900R4) while the device shown in the benchmarks has code-name SM-G906S.

Anyhow If it is the high-powered Galaxy S5 then we will probably see it in Q2 2014.

The concept of a dream smartphone or in other words modular smartphones is advancing day by day. even though Motorola has been sold to Lenovo, the project Ara tea is working at full speed. Below is the video demonstrating the work on Project Ara.

The prototype uses electromagnets that hold the modular parts intact. These magnets do not need a constant flow of electricity, in fact these are permanent magnets. The video also shows "Ara Configurator App" using which buyers can theme their device according to their liking. With the help of this app, users can preview the model of the phone with different hardware pieces and exterior designs.

There is no release date mentioned of the release of first modular smartphone but it looks like we will be seeing one very soon.
