Learning and Insight: I am a bit sad for this is my last month here in the Pedia department. It is indeed a wonderful experience to be part to the health team as we working together for the benefits of the patient. I am really thankful for all the knowledge and skills I gained. I am thankful to my mentor Maam Nelly Uy because she made my stay in the ICU more memorable. She’s the coolest mentor I ever have. Through her I became more confident in doing my responsibilities.

Back to the real world

My 1 week vacation is over..back to the real world na. Thanks to my family especially to my sisters whose no other wish but to make us happy and enjoy our vacation. A memories to cherish for a lifetime and can't be bought by money. I'll be kissing goodbye to SG this evening. I don't know when will be the next time when we are all gather in one place again. My baby's thing

A lesson learned to bring only those needed things when going for a vacation to avoid penalty for over baggage. I brought many clothes that are not worn that made our bags full. Aside from it's heavy it is so uncomfortable to go when you carry many things. Next time I will plan already what are the necessary things to bring. My baby's kids bedding girls are number one in my list and should not be forgotten.

It's so nice here in Singapore! The people lived here are so nice and friendly. I'll gonna come here again if given a chance again. The only reason people are not staying here for long is that it's very expensive in here, you cannot survive if you don't have something in your pocket. They have a very advanced technology. They also have their own different Retail System. Their establishments are surrounded with cctv camera to ensure safety and orderliness.

My vacation here in Singapore is worth spending. I really love the first experiences that I and my family are experienced. How nice to be with the whole family is this special vacation. It is very nice in here. The places are so clean and green. The people are so disceplined in all things. I just love to be here and wishing that our vacation won't end.

I love chocolates! I just can't resist them. They are so tempting. When I go for groceries I make sure to buy a supply of chocolates for my daily consumption. I can even live a day with only chocolates in my pocket. What a perfect combination of berries and chocolates. They are selling a very delicious looking chocolate dipped strawberries. My father is a silent type but behind his silence possess a lot of skills and talents. Carpentry is one of his master, he can make different log cabin furnitures and some of our things in the house was purely made by him. He has a very creative hands. It's Sunday and Oh I am excited to go to church to have fellowship with my co-church members and to be in a place where God want's to see His children. I am so happy I am free today. I wasn't able to attend Sunday worship last week because of the demand of work. But I will use my free time today to worship God in Truth. It is very useful to use a map or any devices that would lead us to the right direction in order not to be lost especially if we are new and not so familiar with the place. Here comes a Global positioning system. It is a transmitter from a satellite that detect which places you are in. Just like my sister she installed gps vehicle tracking in her car so it's easy for her to locate a place while driving.

I am really confused what’s really the best way to prepare patients meds in the station or in the bedside. But I guess to be safe I will just choose to prepare the meds in the bedside. It is just very time consuming and the patient will start crying already just before we could give the meds because children are always afraid of needles and syringes. Other than that I don’t see any issues and concerns in the area.

It's officially a Summer but the weather now is very cold and rain will always come in the late afternoon so I make sure to be home just before the heavy rain could start to fall. I am glad because hubby always fetch me from work using our motorcycle and good that he has Joe Rocket Ballistic Jacket to protect us from getting wet. He always bring it every time because he is traveling everyday going and back to work.

Housewarming plants

I just realized how lucky we are to have our own house. We are married for almost three years and we are very proud that we are separated from our parents and living with our own effort to sustain our living. Though it is not yet my dream house but at least we have one. It is very nice to live in a house surrounded with affordable housewarming plants to keep the place fresh and comfy. Specially this cold season they help by giving warm to our cold nights.
