Priyanka Chopra & The Fugly ‘Camel Toe’

2013-08-29T22:48:00.000-07:00

Priyanka Chopra walked the ramp for the American label, Bisou-Bisou on the final day of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter / Festive 2013. Wonder why she walked for a label that's almost forgotten by fashionistas. Unless off-course-she was paid big bucks to do so.

Piggy Chops wore aa very basic Peplum black one-shoulder top paired over a knitted / jersey bottom. In fact the same ensemble she wore what the designer for Bisou-Bisou, Michele Bohbot wore. They were like sisters-in arms on the ramp.

But then that's not what bothered me. It Was That fugly 'Camel Toe' That Priyanka Chopra strutted in That made me go - Eeeeekkkks! Bottoms made out of jersey or knits are prone to cause the 'Camel Toe' faux pas but When one is a showstopper, she can not afford to strut down the ramp flashing a fugly 'Camel Toe'. A different underwear Could have taken care of the problem peecee darling!

Ageless Supermodels

2013-08-29T22:33:00.000-07:00

The Model Issue of Interview've Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour and Daria posing stark naked and believe you me, they look Peak Gust have not aged a bit.

Tollywood Sleaze

2013-08-12T03:09:00.000-07:00

Did you know That the movie industry down-south - the Telugu, Tamil and Malyalam films are overcrowded by leading-ladies who are not from the south. In fact Hansika Motwani is one of Tollywood's biggest star.

Anyway this post is not acerca non South-Indian girls dominating the South-Indian movie industry. It is acerca sleaze and knicker flash. Here are two heroines who are doing well in Hyderabad and Chennai but have horrific style sense. Pragya Jaiswal is flashing her pink panty while Neelam Upadhyay is giving a peek of her Spanx. Will somebody please teach the actresses, Both from Bollywood and Tollywood on how to sit When donning a short-dresses???

And I found this picture of Tollywood superstar - Dhanush. It's so sleazy! In the picture Dhanush is nothing more than a bag of bones and he is lusting over a Southern belle - Tejashree with thunderous thighs. What a sleazy image!

The 5 Best Nerd Movies Ever

2013-07-18T04:38:00.002-07:00

These REMAIN the post-glory days of the nerd. From Larry Ellison, island-owning-cutthroat-businessman-billionaire, to Mark Zuckerberg, billionaire-coder-CEO-visionary, the once-lowly nerd - with Silicon Valley serving as his Xanadu - is now creator of much of the world's riches, seer of the world's future, and the person to Whom Presidents and hopefuls come for money, anointing and benificent manipulation of Big Data.

It was not always thus.

Even while Bill Gates was destroying the competition in his fast march to world's richest human being nerds in high schools around the world were still getting bullied. The rise of the web, PCs, social media and easy money - all Easily leveraged by the nerd - have at last Taught even the biggest, meanest, stupidest of bullies, That the nerd They pick on today may very well be the one That Creates That Thing That puts the bully's future self out of work, and possibly eradicates the only industry he's ever known.

To its credit, Hollywood has long Promoted the glory and power - and humanness - of the nerd, At least since the dawn of the Reagan Era. Long before nearly anyone, treats including nerds, actually owned a computer, Hollywood revealed to potential, brainy hero figure.

True, while many movies still offer up the stereotypical nerd, slovenly, socially inept, living in mom's basement, spending his (always his) nights staring into banks of computer monitors, and lacking even the fortitude to be the hero's plucky sidekick, some of the best films of the past 30 years have glorified the nerd.

These are the very best of the bunch.

Revenge of the Nerds

Released nearly 30 years ago, Revenge of the Nerds is the standard by all nerdy cinema Which will forevermore be Judged against.

Adams College freshman nerds Gilbert and Lewis are relentlessly taunted by the jocks of Alpha Beta fraternity. When the jocks force the nerds out of Their room, the nerds fraternity must create Their Own - and teach school why nerds entertained by the matter. Booger and Poindexter nearly steal the show.

Real Genius

It was "Morning in America" and Hollywood was moving at warp speed to release pro-nerd films. One of the nerdiest ever was Real Genius, the story of a boy and another boy, and mostly only boys, except for the rare girl, who were all so super-smart That They Were sent off to a sort of Cal Tech Junior High.

Our anti-hero, Mitch, so smart That even his parents do not know what to do With Him, Helps save the world, gets the girl and learns That the smarter you are the less you need to care about your appearance. Brain power trumps all.

WarGames

Phone Phreaking in 1983, the fallacy of the Cold War, computer hacking, computer gaming - probably not mainstream Hollywood film has ever been as audacious as WarGames in its depiction of the power of the nerd. All Matthew Broderick's character wants to do is hack phone systems and play the latest and greatest computer games. Instead, I nearly starts World War III.

American Splendor

If Matthew Broderick's nerd Helped avert World War III in WarGames, then twenty years later, Following The PC revolution, the internet revolution, and the bursting of the Internet stock bubble, American Splendor offered Preferred to smaller, more cynical view of the nerd. The film's depiction of the slovenly, obsessive, radically under-employed Harvey Pekar delivered a vision of the nerd as common man.

Only, In this case, one bursting with talent and, if I must admit it, reasonably happy with his meager lot in life. Harvey Hoarder decide to document his life in comic form and it Becomes wildly popular - primarily due to its unflinching honesty. The film Also offers a brief but inspired depiction of comic artist and uber-nerd, Robert Crumb.

X-Men

X-Men May be the prototypical Hollywood vision of the nerd. Nerds are, well, Born That Way. They are endowed with amazing abilities, que makes them stand out from everyone else. X-Men Also has, surprisingly, one of the best Nazi prison camp scenes of any film from any genre. Only, it's not acerca Nazis or the past, but the future - and who will check it.

This being a Hollywood blockbuster, all those born with the special "X gene" are, not surprisingly, Equally pretty and badass.

Review: Access to internet, social networking, smart phones and pocket hefty money have Resulted in kids getting an early exposure to unknowingly shape Things That Their Lives and Their determined future. The more Their parents preach or protect them, the more They revolt and crave for that sense of unwarranted freedom. Can the change in the value system ruin the lives of These teenagers or can they still take the right decisions?

Unlike Most films made on youngsters, refreshingly Sixteen is actual and extremely relevant in modern times. Thankfully, there are no standard teenage-film cliches like youngsters taking to drugs or other addictions, misbehavior, rebellious attitude towards parents, etc..

Purohit That wisely addresses the issues deserve to be mentioned. Peer pressure, relationship issues, sex, unplanned pregnancy, academic pressure, suicide, MMS scandals, surfing adult content on the net in Spite of being under 18 ... almost all significant issues are maturely handled and presented. Nowhere do you feel too much is being served at one go. Although sluggish pace is what dampens the impact, as the filmmaker slips into an artistic mode every now and then.

Casting is perfect. All the newcomers act well. Gabbi Wamiqa as Tanisha is impressive, Izabelle Leite is Effective in Spite of her voice being dubbed, Keith Sequeira lends that much needed subtlety to the story.

However, the film has its limitations. It Focuses on the dilemmas of the rich kids, catering to urbane youth Malthus.
