Traveling is always a joy, and exploring new places has forever been a shared passion for our group. About ten days ago, my friend Manohar and I were brainstorming our next getaway and settled on Sakleshpur—a stunning hill station tucked away in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, renowned for its lush biodiversity, rolling tea and coffee plantations, and mist-covered peaks. While famous for monsoon tourism, it retains an offbeat charm compared to busier neighbors like Coorg.

We planned a family trip—a close-knit group that loves traveling together. In total, five families, including nine excited children, geared up for a three-day, two-night monsoon escape starting Saturday morning, August 1st, and returning to Bengaluru on Monday evening, August 3rd.

For our accommodation, we chose a scenic homestay named Hillock Vista located in Hethur, approximately 20 km from Sakleshpur town. Nestled amid dense greenery, it offered the perfect retreat. We counted down the days, eager to swap the city's noise for the fresh mountain air.

Day 1: The Journey Begins and Mallalli Falls

Since the five families live in different parts of Bengaluru, four of us agreed to depart at 7:00 AM. The fifth family—our friend Basu and his family—planned to leave in the afternoon after his daughter's exam and meet us directly at the resort in the evening.

Our journey began smoothly as the Manohar family arrived at our home in Kengeri right on time. We loaded the luggage, hopped into the car, and seamlessly joined the Bengaluru–Mangaluru Highway (NH 75). Meanwhile, Mahesh and Praveen's families started from Abbigere, with a plan to regroup at the historic Yediyur Siddalingeshwara Swamy Temple.

By 9:00 AM, we reached the Yediyur Temple. With minimal crowd, we had a smooth darshan. The second car arrived fifteen minutes later. The children were thrilled to see each other and began playing around the courtyard. After taking a quick group photo in front of the temple, we drove 3 km down the road to Dhruvathare Restaurant for breakfast around 10:00 AM.

After enjoying a delicious South Indian breakfast and letting the kids play for a bit, I called our homestay manager, Bharat, to give him our estimated arrival time and ask for lunch preparations.

By 11:00 AM, we resumed our drive along the scenic four-lane highway. Within an hour, as we crossed into the core region of the Western Ghats, the humid sky gave way to heavy rain. We passed through Sakleshpur town and turned onto the narrow, quiet road leading toward Hethur.

We arrived at Hillock Vista by 1:30 PM amid a torrential downpour. Bharat greeted us warmly with umbrellas. Given the chilly weather, we immediately enjoyed a hot, home-cooked lunch before checking into our rooms to freshen up.

At 3:30 PM, we set out for Mallalli Falls, located about 20 km away in the foothills of the Pushpagiri ranges. Formed by the Kumaradhara River, this magnificent cascade drops over 200 feet. The drive through foggy ghat roads lined with seasonal streamlets was breathtaking.

When we arrived, heavy rain and thick fog hid the falls. Putting on our raincoats, we descended a few flights of steps. Suddenly, the mist cleared, revealing a powerful torrent of water roaring down the cliff face. After snapping photos and enjoying hot coffee from a local vendor, we drove back to the resort, arriving around 6:30 PM.

Basu’s family had already checked in by the time we returned. Reunited, we enjoyed hot bhajjis and tea. As evening fell, we gathered in the common area, played music, danced, and spent the night playing cards while listening to the relentless monsoon rain outside. Following a warm dinner at 10:00 PM, we turned in for the night.

Day 2: The Green Route, Bisle Ghat, and Leeches

After a hearty breakfast, we set off around 9:30 AM to explore the famous Yedakumeri Railway Track region. This area forms part of the historic Hassan–Mangaluru "Green Route" railway, legendary for its sweeping viaducts, dozens of dark tunnels, and dense wilderness.

By 11:00 AM, we arrived near the access point. Because the approach road is an intense, boulder-paved trail through the rainforest, we rented two 4x4 Mahindra Commander jeeps. The off-road drive—4 km down a muddy incline—was thrilling. The local drivers navigated the terrain with immense skill.

At the bottom, we marvelled at the sheer engineering feat of constructing a railway track and tunnels through such rugged terrain in the late 20th century. Recent rains had triggered minor track blockages, but watching the river surge through the valley was well worth the trip.

We returned via jeep by 1:00 PM. Near our parked cars, we washed up in a freezing mountain stream. A few of us discovered tiny mountain leeches clinging to our ankles—a classic signature of a Western Ghats monsoon trek! After detaching them, we drove back to the homestay for a late lunch around 2:15 PM.

By mid-afternoon, we headed out to the Bisle Ghat Viewpoint. Bisle Reserve Forest is one of Asia’s most ecologically sensitive rainforest hotspots, bridging Sakleshpur and Kukke Subramanya. The viewpoint offers a panoramic look across three major mountain ranges: Kumara Parvatha, Pushpagiri, and Dodda Betta, alongside the Deepa Hole river.

The one-hour drive with open sunroofs and monsoon music was deeply refreshing. We reached the view site around 4:45 PM under steady rainfall. We walked the 500-meter paved path to the shelter, catching a brief, spectacular glimpse of the vast green valley before dense fog blanketed the gorge.

We headed back to the resort by 6:30 PM for hot bondas and coffee. Rain prevented an outdoor campfire, so we spent the rest of the evening indoors playing card games and enjoying late-night dinner.

Day 3: Mookanamane Falls, Manjarabad Fort, and Heading Home

Monday morning brought clear skies and cool breezes. While some of us went for an early walk, the kids mustered up the courage to jump into the resort’s cold swimming pool. Following hot dosas for breakfast and a group photoshoot, we checked out around 11:30 AM.

Our first stop of the day was Mookanamane Falls (also known as Abbi Falls near Hetthur), a secluded spot tucked inside local estate lands. A short drive and a quick climb down a flight of steps brought us to the swollen, muddy cascade.

Next, we headed to the iconic Manjarabad Fort, reaching it by 2:00 PM. Built in 1792 by Tipu Sultan with the help of French engineers, this unique star-shaped fort sits on a high hill. Its Islamic-French architectural style includes a central well, vaulted ammunition stores, and strategic watchpoints that offer 360-degree views of the surrounding hills.

We climbed the 300-plus steps to the top and explored the granite ramparts. By 4:00 PM, we descended and drove 20 minutes to Hotel Shivasurya on the highway for a late lunch of Chinese dishes. By now, the rain had stopped, and the air turned warm and sunny, signaling that we had descended out of the high ghat region.

At 5:30 PM, we began our final drive back to Bengaluru. We reached the city suburbs near Madavara Metro Station by 8:30 PM, where we pulled over to say our goodbyes before splitting up toward our respective homes. It was a memorable monsoon trip full of rain, misty hills, and great company.

MUSAFIR CAFE

After a long break—almost eight-plus years—I haven’t written a word or opened my blog. But after watching the series Musafir Café, I finally felt inspired to write again.

What a masterpiece this show is! It features brilliant performances by Vikrant Massey (as Chander), Vedika Pinto (as Sudha), and Mahima Makwana (as Preeti), and is beautifully directed by Ruchir Arun. Adapted from Divya Prakash Dubey’s bestselling Hindi novel, the series is shot in the stunning landscapes of Bhopal and Mussoorie. At its core, the story explores how unexpected encounters can leave a lasting impact on our lives.

We follow Chander, Sudha, and Preeti as they navigate love, heartbreak, and self-discovery across different stages of life. Rather than relying on conventional romance, the series focuses on healing, personal growth, and the idea that life’s greatest journeys are often the ones that lead us back to ourselves. With its soothing atmosphere, emotional depth, and memorable performances, Musafir Café is a must-watch for fans of meaningful romantic dramas.

I loved every character:

Sudha is an independent divorce lawyer who inspires Chander to embrace uncertainty and love fearlessly. It's fascinating to see a character so clear about her life priorities and goals.
Preeti is such a pleasant, comforting presence. She offers Chander quiet companionship and unwavering support. People like Preeti—who possess pure hearts and choose to love someone unconditionally even after knowing about their past—are truly rare.
Chander is the heart and soul of the series. While searching for a purpose in life, he meets Sudha at an arranged marriage setup organized by their parents. Through her, he learns to embrace uncertainty and chase his dreams. But when Sudha leaves, Chander opens a café in Mussoorie with Preeti, who supports him in every way possible to make his dream come true. Yet, a part of him still longs for Sudha, preventing him from giving Preeti the complete love she truly deserves.

I genuinely love slow, meaningful, feel-good series that make you laugh, smile, and quietly break your heart all at once—the kind that leave you staring blankly at the screen after the final episode, wondering, "That’s it?!"

To be honest, the ending didn't feel like enough for me. In my view, Chander should have settled down with Preeti for the rest of his life. She accepts him entirely for who he is, despite his past. Meanwhile, Sudha has already decided to move to Singapore with her partner, Vineet.

Ultimately, we all meet people in life who change us and help us reach our goals. I highly recommend watching Musafir Café—it really is a masterpiece! 😊

Creative Technology-Think India

Hi Friends.................Long gap!!!!!! My last post was in 2013..........OMG three long years..........How are you all???? Hope you all are doing well :) Thanks to all my blog is still alive. Today I am writing on a topic which will make every Indian think......

Why we always think of job in western countries???……..Why we do not have big companies???!!!! Are we not Creative????? All giant IT companies are from West……..are we not capable of creating something new??

What is difference between discovery and invention!!!! Discovery is finding something which already exists and invention is Creative something new!!!! At present West gets credit for being more Creative.

Are we less Creative??…. What all we have given to world to be proud of ??? ....Sanskrit its oldest language in the world. It is oldest script. That means we have taught to the world how to speak and write. That’s mainly communication. Aaryabhata who has worked out value of pi is from India… addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are gift to mankind from India. In short communication and compute are the basic things wanted in the beginning of life for the growth, that we have given to world….

Coming to Engineering, we have oldest dam in the world. I am not aware of the place and name of the dam but we have it in our country. That shows we were a step ahead in the engineering too. Medicine: Idea of plastic surgery was from India, which was very old practice in India. Smallpox fought successfully in India before the people found out vaccine for it.

Coming to Education , Gurukulam system with university like Nalanda university which was very famous and was attracting many students from whole world. It was having curriculum of all subjects like maths, science, skills development etc….

What about business??? We were only country to export maximum spices to world. In fact Indian exports had 33% share in the world.

So by all above facts we come to know that our ancestors were creative and given lots to the world. 150 years ago we were so competitive. How was all this possible?? Just think it was all due to they were thinking and had love towards their mother tongue. Man is creative when he thinks in his own mother tongue and executes work in the same.

Then later what went wrong???

If you wish to destroy country without war, then its very easy just destroy mother tongue of the country. Yes !! that’s exactly what British did to us. Our creativity was buried when English people started ruling us. They influenced so much that without English there is nothing. As result those who do not understand English would been labelled as illiterate. Later our people started learning English, without English no education, no jobs, no career……..so started learning English, thinking in English etc…. we have got talent but lost our creativity…….. And its fact!! We are tagged as talented with less creativity. Look at the developed countries in the world they use their mother tongue… they are not behind any other language… in fact they make others to learn their language…… we have so many languages in our country but we are behind English. But we never realized how creative we are!!! country can develop so many languages and scripts is perfect example for creativity. No other country in the world has so many languages. As a result We are proud if our child is studying in English medium and if he is learning French or Germany….

West is developed and they have giant companies now and attracting the world. Now every one is calling it as Information Technology. We have to love our mother tongue and start encouraging learning of mother tongue in school level , let’s make our next generation to think in their mother tongue and let them have lot of creative ideas. By this we are grooming pride for motherland in hearts of our future generation. Once there is pride for motherland then self-pride will follow. This self-pride will make grounds for self-expression and creativity. Let us prepare for India for tomorrow and call future as Creative Technology… This will definitely make you think!!!!!!

ISLAND OF SECRETS

On Thursday I got relieved from the project which was assigned to me. Since it was a long time I had been to native, I thought of going to home. When I asked for the permission our manager granted me 3 days leave without a single word. I was very happy and came back to my seat and opened IRCTC site to book ticket on the same night, but it was showing waiting list. I tried for the buses I did not get any ticket. Therefore I did not book any ticket and thought of travelling next day morning.

Since it was winter season, Next day morning I got up at 10am. I got ready and had lunch & then boarded bus at 1pm. Its 8 hour journey from Bangalore to Hubli and conductor told we will be reaching latest by 9.30pm. Hubli to my village its half an hour drive and last bus will be at 10pm. I thought latest by 10.30pm will be at home, so I called up home and gave them message.

Due to lot of traffic, bus reached Hubli at 11pm.By the time I reach my village bus had left Hubli. There was one more bus which was standing. I boarded that bus which goes to other village that is 2km from my village. When bus reached that village it was 12am mid night. As soon as bus reached the stop everyone got down and moved towards their homes. Within seconds bus stop empty & silent.

Now some kind of fear started in the mind, because I have to walk 2km to reach my home. Slowly I started to walk on the road, not even single person was on the road. I thought of calling up home, but there was no proper network. There was pin drop silence and I could only hear scream of different type of insects. I remembered lot of devil stories on the way. It was full moon day and sky was clear with lot of bright stars. There was cool air which was blowing and making sound. Not to feel alone I put ear phones and started listening songs.

However I walked 1km and reached river which crosses my village. As I was walking on the banks of river suddenly my mobile got switched off, songs were stopped. Dark clouds covered the clear sky. Within seconds lighting also started, clouds busted into rain. I drenched in the rain. It became full dark, I started to walk faster. Only in lightning I was able to see the road. Suddenly I saw a huge body coming towards me; I trembled and stood there only. As huge body approached very near I could recognize, he was man with 7feet height and around 200kg weight with long beard. My hands and legs started shivering as he stood in front of me. He said ‘my name is Robert and you have to come with me now’. ‘No I will not come anywhere’ why should I come with you’ I replied in fear.

But he took me and flied in the air, I was screaming but when I saw earth from bird view, felt happy. There was fear in mind, that why this guy is taking me, whether he is magician or devil. We crossed lot of forests, hills and rivers. Finally we came to big ocean, there were lot of big waves hitting to the shore and air was blowing with high speed, also there was lightning.

We crossed some kilometers in the ocean, in lightning light I saw an island near to us. He took me and got down on a big rock in the island. It was raining heavily; wind was blowing with high speed, so I could not move forward. Robert was standing like a rock. He looked at me and again I got fear. He took me on his shoulders and started to walk forward. After a while, we reached a small hut, where there was only single cot and mat. I came to know that it’s the place where Robert lives.

After some time he started speaking ‚now we have to move deep inside the sea, and fight with one creature (Robo) then we have to bring back one key which is in his throat. I was amazed, why the hell I should fight and am I capable? ‚yes dude you are capable, your ancestors had this power and they have transferred this power to you. Robo killed your grandfather. He has lots of magical powers. He is trying to convert our 1million men into creatures. Today is the the last day that we can stop him or else million people will be converted into creatures and they will destroy the world. The guy who has power to kill Robo is “you” he said.

Robert gave me one magical stick. It was of my grandfather and which works only in my hand Robert said. I took it & said fire, suddenly a big tree in front of me got fire. Now I got confidence. I wore my grandfather‘s outfit and said Robert that we will move. We both flied from the rock and jumped into the sea. Deep into the sea there was a fort. We entered inside the fort. Inside there was no water but there was forest and it had lots of different types of trees. Slowly we moved inside. Suddenly fire occurred in front of us. I sprinkled water on it by magic stick. We moved front, earth worm type insects started coming out from the earth. One by one started climbing our body. We started running in other direction. I made hole using my stick, suddenly all the insects fell into the hole.

We found some coconut trees. I took one to drink, when i cut it we found blood in that. I threwed it. We were very hungry, but there was nothing to eat there. As we moved forward we found small water body in which there were some fishes. We caught some fishes and fried using magic stick. We ate them, now we felt comfortable.

We sat there for some time, there was big hill in front of us, and the creature was on top of hill. We have to reach there by passing through some caves. Time was running and soon we got up started climbing the hill. After walking 500 meters we found one cave. It was full dark. As soon as we entered the cave, bunch of spiders and bats attacked us. So we could not move forward and came outside the cave. I took some sticks and wrapped front part with cloth and fired it. Then me and Robert entered the cave again they tried to attack but, with the help of fire we destroyed some bats. Quickly we moved forward.

Next we moved slowly and found big wall in front of us. On the wall there were some creatures and were holding some weopons.we crawled slowly till the wall but one creature looked at us & attacked us. Within seconds around 50 creatures surrounded us. They were making some irritating noise and with weapons tried to kill us. I took my stick & I made them to move little back. Suddenly we both started running towards the top of the fort, creatures were chasing from back, while running my stick fell into a small pit. We tried to move front but it was edge of the hill. So we went behind the bush and sat down there. Creatures came running, as they were in a high speed, they fell down from the edge of the hill. After picking up the stick from the pit, we flied on top of the fort with the help of special broom stick.

Now Robo was in front of us, he had a very huge body and had more than 10 hands. He was having different types of weopons.He too had one magical stick same as mine by which he was controlling everything, that stick was stolen from my ancestors. As soon as he saw us, threw some fire balls towards us, but we escaped from them. With the help of my stick left some bees to bite him, he too escaped by using some powers. He left some pigs which were having big teeth, one pig attacked on Robert and pierced through stomach, suddenly he started shouting. I went & killed that pig.

With the help of big sword I killed other pigs too. Small injuries were on my body. I tied cloth to Robert’s stomach, but Robo was trying to hit me from back, suddenly Robert pushed me away and his left hand was cut. Robert fainted.

I took sword and cut his toes and he fell down, took his magic stick and cut his neck threw into the big valley. Robert was awake by that time there was victory smile on his face. I went and hugged him and told him about the killing of Robo. Robert asked me about the key, suddenly I became silent because key was forgotten.

‘’without the key we cant make million people free from prison’’ Robert said. I showed him the place where Robo was thrown out. Suddenly he took me in hand and flied down the valley. There was big forest at the bottom of the valley. We went in search of his body, bunch of leopards attacked us. One leopard pierced nails into my thigh skin. I killed it with help of my sword. Same time Robert killed other leopards also. There was bleeding in my thigh. I took some dry leaves and tied them tightly on thigh.

We moved forward, we found his neck but there was no key in that. We got tensed, lot of negative thoughts came into mind that after finding body if key is not there, where to find in such big forest. Only two hours was left for release of those people or else all of them will be converted to creatures. We increased our speed and started searching in the forest. There was river flowing in forest. We found some blood drops on the banks of river. Now we were sure that body was flown along with water.

We ran on the bank of river along with flowing water, after some minutes we reached still water. I saw body floating on the water and screamed at Robert that we found body. We were happy and brought body on the bank. With help of sword I cut his body into pieces. We found key in his stomach. Another one hour was left to release them. Since Roberts hand was cut it was impossible fly faster and reach in time to release them. With help of magic stick two flying brooms I made. Within seconds we left the place flied on brooms. After 45 minutes we reached the Island where all people were put behind the bar. With help of key we opened the lock, automatically bars disappeared. All the people were very happy and hugged each other. They thanked me and Robert. Also they decided to make me king of the Island. But I did not agree and told about my family & job responsibilities. Also I promised them that will be visiting them once in year. In case of emergency always I will be there for them at any time. They too agreed and sent me happily. Robert took me in hand flied towards my village. Dropped me near my home and hugged me, said bye and left.

In my home everyone was afraid and they were waiting for me from long time. They ringed my mobile it was not reachable. As soon as I reached home there was big smile on everyone’s face. My mom hugged me and cried. I told them some other story (did not tell what actually happened) to made them to believe. Later everyone went to bed. I just closed my eyes.

ADVENTURE IN MADIKERI

Yesterday, I watched a English adventure movie, after the end of movie, I went back to my bed to sleep. Some old memories flashed in front of my eyes.

Around nine years back I was studying 10^th class in Sainik School Bijapur. That was March month and our board exams were going on and at the same time India was doing best at cricket world cup. We bought one radio also to listen the cricket commetry.Half of my concentration was on cricket and other half was on exams. I think that was the reason I scored less in board exams.

Somehow exams were over and India lost the world cup at final against Australia.

That was disappointing but there was happy news for all 10^th class that principal was sending all of us to Madikeri (Kodagu) for adventure camp.

We were around 60 people but we had only one school bus, around 40 were accommodated in the bus others were informed to come by government bus. As the travelling distance very long we left early in the morning. We had never been to this part of state. It was first experience for all of us. We all grown and brought up in hot land like Bijapur and for the first time we were going to cool and forest land like madikeri ,therefore it was exciting.

To say something about Madikeri, Its one of the famous tourist place in Karnataka. It’s covered with thick forest and has some famous waterfalls. During rainy season lot people visit Madikeri to see these falls and green forest. Talakaveri is the place where one of the famous river Kaveri takes birth. This is around 100km from Madikeri. Two eyes are not enough to see the beauty of Kodagu.

Our bus moved on shimoga,Hassan and then reached Madikeri at late night. Our accommodation was arranged by some our Ex-students in one marriage hall which was located in the mid of the thick forest. Nearby city to this hall was around 10km.Two staff members were accompanied us for the camp. It was late night we could not see any beauty of nature. As we reached, one our ex student welcomed us and showed us the place where we have to live for ten days and gave some instructions about washroom, food and also he mentioned that hall has current connection, therefore they had generator connection which will be running for limited time that’s evening 6 to 10 and morning 4 to 6.After long journey we were very tired, so he did not waste much time just said goodnight and left. We also slept soon.

We woke up at 6 in the morning, waa….there was full fog which covered all the surroundings it was very cold, we never seen such climate before. Fog was so thick that even roads were not visible. There were lot of trees around. In Bijapur we can see kilometers of distance with barren land. But here there were lot of trees and coffee estates around. Whole surrounding was green and covered with fog. Small drops of water on the leaves were shining as the rays of sun falling on them.

On the first day we were taken to see some waterfalls and places nearby. Next day we were taken to one place near Kushalnagar, which is also known city in Kodagu for trekking. Trekking distance was 10km in that thick forest. Route was in such way that we have to climb up one hill and get down where we will find river, there we have to take our lunch and return back on other route. That hill was very steep if you miss one step or slip bit we were falling into deep valley and our way was so narrow no two guys were able walk side by side. We moved ahead and ahead very carefully. Time was 2 in the afternoon, there was lot of heat and we reached that river. As soon as we reached, everyone removed their clothes and jumped into water. We felt as if we found oasis in the desert. Around half an hour we were in water and later we came out and had our lunch on the banks of river.

As the time was running we wore our dress and packed our things and left the place. This time way was not zigzag but it was straight and 60 degree steep. All our energy was lost in river only. This time we felt really difficult to climb up the hill. Many guys sat in the half way and could not move forward. Since the time was running fast we helped those guys to move further. Finally we reached our place with great difficulty, by the time we reached hall clock showed time 9pm. So we had dinner and slept soon.

For the next few days, we visited several other places in that forest and enjoyed the beauty of places. And also went for some other trekking places. Only last one day was left for us leave the Madikeri. Before that day, we had dinner at 9 in the night and having some discussion on the experiences during these days. At that time Mrutyunjay(mutya) said ‘it would have been still more interesting and challenging, if we would have gone for night trekking’. Everyone nodded their heads. Actually that plan was cancelled due to some reasons. By that time it was 10pm, generator was off and everyone went to their beds.

I also came to bed and closed my eyes, I got toilet at night, so woke up mutya. We both went out for small stroll and finished toilet. As we were returning back, we could see some lamps light in the forest, which were 50m from us. I told mutya ‘lets go and see what are those lights?’. He did not agree at first as we were leaving early in the morning. Later when I forced he was agreed to come. As went near by the light we could see two guys , who were holding two lamps were waiting for someone. We found them suspicious, therefore we hid behind a tree and waited there. After some time one black nigro arrived near to them. Then they started moving towards one nearby hill, we followed them as they moved. They came near the hill and disappeared, mutya told that better we return back soon.

But I only took him further, there was small cave which was covered with some branches of trees. We took off those branches and entered in. Entrance was only small but inside it was big building. Where we peeped through window, we saw some guys packing smuggled things like animals skin, elephant teeth and some weapons. Suddenly we saw that black nigro having negotiations with one big guy who was wearing black suit. That black guy was holding some diamonds in his hand. We got fear and slowly came back out of cave and kept back those branches as it is. We thought of informing to police but feared lot as influenced people will be involved in it and would be a great risk. But later we thought we are students of Sainik school once if we clear NDA, we are going to be officers in defense and save the country from enemies. We got courage when all these thoughts came into our mind. After that we did not wait single second went to highway and waited for some vehicle to give us lift.

One car gave us lift to madikeri, within an hour we came back to our hall with police van. We woke up all the friends, informed about what had happened. They were also energetic to catch the smugglers because they are from Sainik school, that courage comes from lessons we learnt at school. All of us covered the cave, police announced in the mike to surrender. As there was other way all those who were in the cave surrendered. Man behind all this was famous well known business man of Kodagu. Police praised me and mutya for our courage. Next day this news was spread throughout the state like fire in the forest. Our names came in the news and Televisions. It was announced that medal will given to us by the Government of Karnataka. On the Independence day chief minister was giving bravery medal to me, suddenly I heard sound from our staff member ‘guys get up’ get up’ we have to travel long distance, get ready soon’ . I opened my eyes ,it was 5 clock in the morning. All that I saw was dream. I just got up and saw that mutya was in deep sleep. I just smiled at him and went to washroom. After one hour everyone was ready with their bag and all got into bus. Just we said goodbye to madikeri. Our bus moved slowly.

9 years over I never discussed even single word about this dream, yesterday suddenly I remembered this and thought of writing, ands here it is JJJJ

DRAMA QUEEN KAVYA

Flash back...around 15 years back when I was in class fourth I used to bunk many classes and morning prayers in the school.Today I am going share one small story of this time.

I never felt that I should go to class during those days.Just for the sake of parents I used to attend classes.Or else I was moving to some farm houses in the village with two of my friends and pick up some fruits and eat without knowing to the owner.After coming from farm house we were having lunch sent by mom in box and we use to go for near by ground and play till evening then going back to home,this was my routine for two or three days in week.

After the first quarter one day morning class was going on Sunitha madam was teaching some maths problems,class was interrupted by our principal as he entered, one girl and a person whose age was around 40 with thick mustache entered behind him.principal told all of us that girl was newly admitted to our class and she is the daughter of newly posted range forest officer to our area and showed that person, her name is Kavya.That mustache person was forest officer.Principal and forest officer talked something with our madam and left the class.
As they left the room,Madam showed her the place to sit,whole class was looking at her she went near the bench and said 'madam this bench is so dirty I cant sit' I was sitting on the last bench slowly I said 'oh big drama queen'. Later madam called one house keeping guy and told him to clean the bench, after that drama queen sat on it.That day classes were over and every one left the room.I was watching Kavya only she came out,already car driver was waiting outside I thought she will go and sit.But she called driver to take her.He came and lifted her made her to sit in car.Again she proved that she was pakka drama queen.

      As usual our routine went on.One satarday we all came to school,since it was satarday class starts early at 730 am so our morning prayer will be at 7.15 only.on that day my mother could not prepare breakfast early so I came without tiffin box.But I was very hungry.So I told two more friends to bunk the prayer and we planned something and plan was to steal the tiffin box.Every one went to prayer but we three bunked it.Our hunt started in the class for hidden tiffin.We opened two three boxes.tiffin was common like upma and some rice.As the time was running fast those both ate little little upma.But I was looking for something different.At last I saw blue box in front bench.that was drama queen's box.I opened it my favourite idly was there.there were four idlys.Only five minutes was remaining so I ate two idlys and kept back the box.
      Prayer was over and everyone returned back to class.My full attention was on Kavya only.Since it was satarday every one was on white uniform.She came and sat on the bench.Soon madam also came and started teaching.After ten minutes Kavya started shouting 'madam' madam' as if some tiger has come to class.
when madam asked about the reason she told that some chutney has sticked to her white uniform at the back.In hurry I had left some chutney on her bench,as madam went to her bench,she opened her tiffin box also,two idlys were also missing,again she shouted 'madam my idly my idly' ,all came to know her two idlys were missing,madam turned to the class and asked for the victim,everyone's head was down.My unluck I had left one evidence.My hand key was lying below her table.
       Madam came to me and bitten me with stick.And made me to stand ouside the class.I was standing outside Kavya was coming from wash room after cleaning her uniform,as she came near to me I said loudly'U drama queen'.She said 'U are bad boy' and again she told this to madam.Madam came and bitten me again and punishment was extended to till classes were over.
     It was my luck that day was Saturday, classes were up to 12, till 12'o clock I stood outside and returned back to home.In that way we both were introduced to each other.At the starting we were like enemies.but later days we became good friends.Now Kavya is software engineer in one of the MNC.Now also I call her as ' DRAMA QUEEN'..

END OF HAPPY DAYS(COLLEGE DAYS)

Recently I was passing nearby Engineering college in Bangalore. I saw bunch of students enjoying in the campus and one second could not control my tears, my eyes busted with full of tears. I really missed and missing those friends, birthday parties, trips, bunking classes, bike ride, night outs, assignments, internals, late night Maggie, beautiful girls, hostel etc etc……so many things. Those days will never return back in our life.

Hello friends this time I would like to share some of my experiences at the end of happy days. 7^th semester exams were over and our countdown was started in college. Each moment spent was last in the college. Last month, last birthday, last internal, last trip, so many last moments. Since it was last sem there was much concentration on project work, we were having three days classes and three days only project work. We were carrying out project in the one famous company, so we use to go for that company to carry out project. We used to see the engineers the company, how stressful was their work. Just we were imagining after some months we also will be in same condition and now we are in same.

Usually we were reading in sms that ‘we came with tear in eyes without knowing any one and we will be leaving college with tear in eyes after knowing all’…this was really felt in the last semester. Yes really when I came for first time to college with my father for admission was scared and there was lot of fear that how to spend next four years here. But that fear was disappeared when classes were started, unknown faces became close friends and unknown place became like heaven for me. On the first day college I was crying when my father was returning to home. But in last semester we all friends were crying because we were leaving college.

In the last semester all will become cool because I saw so many fights between friends and juniors were compromised at the last. Many talked to each other. One more thing in the last semester was writing slam book…abba I don’t know how much slam book I have written. Almost all of my friends gave me to write it. Even for studying we never spent so much of time but spent much time on writing slam book. We wrote it full semester. Writing was full of experiences and expressing how we felt about him or her in four years. When I see my slam book, now also my eyes will get wet because friends have written with feelings.

Finally project was over and internal was over. Only left was our exams. At last exams also came. Those were the last night outs for exams but we never felt. After last exam, I came out of exam hall with smile to tell that exam was super. Outside I saw many were with sad face, I thought their exams were difficult. But many were hugging each other and giving shake hands. At that time nothing flashed in my mind. Bit later I got flashed that next day was our last day in college, suddenly expression in my face was changed. After all exams we were wishing for happy vacation but this time all were wishing ‘all the best for future’. And one more word from everyone’s mouth was ‘miss u miss u’. Some could not control their tears. Later I returned back to hostel all were packing their things. In the previous semesters I was waiting for exams get over to run out for native, but that day I was really not feeling to pack my things. One moment I could believe that next day was last in hostel. With heavy heart I packed my things. Next day my brother came with car to take me, I said bye to all and once more I saw college saluted it. We started journey to native.

Friends I hope you may also experienced the same at the end of Happy Days. Now we have entered the corporate world, now we are not getting time to enjoy, on weekends time is spent in sleeping. During happy days we had no money to enjoy but also we enjoyed lot, now we have money but no enjoyment. Advice to juniors is please enjoy your happy days to the fullest extent.

Hi friends how are you? I hope you are enjoying reading my posts. After long time I am writing article on above topic, which is quite interesting, I think you people enjoy it.

I am working for Germany based MNC, recently company has completed 25 years in India, and so there was grand function in the company. Everyone was well dressed, company walls were newly painted, lighting was done in the some part, and stage was put for the function .Totally there was festival kind of environment in the campus.

In the evening function was started, there was welcome speech and followed by many speeches from foreign delegates. Owner was very happy with company performance in India.

After two hours all the speeches were over and there was program by blind students. There were six students, three girls and three boys. They were fully blind. We thought what kind of dance these students will do, we were talking they might have called some musician for entertainment. But when they started the dance full hall was in pin drop of silence. They started dancing for light music and later on for higher tune. Later on for some film songs. All the foreign delegates were impressed by this dance.

They did the dance very nicely, even people with proper eyes cannot do such dance, they did not even miss single step. Everything was coordinated very well. I just imagined how much they would have practiced for such kind of dance, because even one wrong step might have made them to fall down from the stage. Everybody opened their cameras and mobiles for recording the video. Full concentration of people was on the stage. Everyone clapped and praised the students whole heartedly.

After the program they got some prices and money from the company .I think some other people also gave them some kind of compliments. I will also help them in some kind in future. What I learned from this program not to underestimate any one in life and do not demand anything in life just show your talent, so that people around you will give you what you need and think that you deserve it.

Why I am saying about demand means, just if we remember about childhood ,we demand so many things from our parents like shoes, new dress ,computer, video game etc..etc...we never think in what position will our parents. Just we need it or else we will not go to school or will not have food. These all things happened in our life and present also they are going on. But instead of demanding if we show our talent like scoring good marks in exams or getting prizes in some competition will make parents happy and give us big gifts which were not at all expected.

Not only in childhood now also we demand for so many things. We will not be knowing that we deserve that or not. But if we show our talent definitely we will get that. It may not happen with all cases because some things have to taken by demanding. What I am going to convince is that do not demand for smaller things, when we get those things when we show our talents. So from that day I have decided not to under estimate any one and demand some things. Friends you also try to follow the same may be you will enjoy your life.

ONE NIGHT @ TRAIN

After long time I had been to my native for friend’s marriage and I was very happy see all my old friends there. We wished newly married couple and had nice party at night. After marriage all my friends returned back to their places respectively. Next three days I spent time with my parents in home .Three days were over, it was time to return back to Bangalore.

My return train ticket was reserved on Wednesday, train was departing at 5.40pm from Hubli junction, I packed all my things and my mom cooked dinner and gave me box. One second I checked my bag, confirmed nothing was left. I said bye to mom and left home at 4pm.

I reached Hubli railway station by 5pm, still there was half an hour for train to arrive, so I went to bakery to buy some sweets for my roommates and colleagues. I took Dharwad special Pedha and had some tea and came back to platform .By that time it was 5.30 train was in the platform and cleaning of toilets and filling of water in tanks was in progress .I checked my compartment in the ticket came near to same. My compartment was S8,I checked my name in the sheet which was pasted on the door. My name was there and as usual like all other guys I checked any girl was near my berth. My berth number was 38, I checked above and below my number but there was no girl name, instead it was written DVG in some berth numbers, which means some people were boarding in Davangere (DVG).

I boarded train and came near to my berth, already two guys were sitting before me in the berth. I asked their berth numbers and told mine. In this way we started talking and introduced ourselves. One was travelling from Pune and one was from Gujarat. On that day climate was a cool, dark cloud were moving in the sky, sun was not visible, it was dark by 5.30pm.

Time was 5.40, train started moving slowly towards Bangalore, as the train started moving clouds bursted into rain, water started coming inside compartment, all people pulled their window shutters. We were talking about different things about their profession and my job etc…different kind of people were travelling in the train, students, business men, teachers, engineers etc…as the time passed many stations also passed. But it was raining outside with same speed in all the stations. I was bit sad because there was no girl travelling near my berth, but there was hope that at least one girl will board from Davangere. I saw time it was 8pm, so opened my Tiffin box and had my dinner was bit tired and closed my eyes.

Next station was Davangere; train stopped in the platform those two guys who were sitting beside me got down in that station. One beautiful girl entered my compartment and she came near my berth and said “my berth seat number is 40” ,I was sitting in that berth I got up and said ‘sorry please take your seat” .I was very very happy because such nice girl was sitting in front of me. There was silence for next half an hour. After that she only asked ‘are u going to Bangalore’? ya I said.

In this way our interaction started she was software software engineer working one of famous MNC in Bangalore. I too introduced myself. What a coincidence she too was living near my area in Bangalore. Till late night we were talking each other. Morning when train reached Bangalore we both got down. Since she was also staying nearby to my area we took same bus and reached our stop. And we exchanged our mobile numbers and said bye to each other. After that we were in touch through messages and calls. Later we started meeting in the evenings. Went to coffee days, pizza huts and Mc Donald’s etc…had nice partys on weekends.

On one weekend my mobile was ringed..I just picked it…and it was her call…she said “today no one is in my room u come we shall have grand party” I said ‘ok’….I took bath, wore new dress and went to her home…and ringed bell tin ton!!!!!!!!!!!! She opened the door …wa she was looking gorgeous…I went inside…she closed door…I was amazed what was her plan….many things were going in my mind???????

There was loud sound ‘KHOOLI SIR’ KHOOLI’ I opened my eyes still I was in train. I saw watch it was 3.30 am in the morning and saw in the window it was Bangalore junction. That time I realized that whole thing was dream which I saw in the train. No girl boarded in the train. Only those two guys were there. They were packing their things. I rubbed my hairs and eyes and said myself “oh it was dream dude” .I took my bag and said bye to those two guys and came out. Since it was too early in the morning there were no buses, so I took auto and came to room…..still I was thinking ‘that was dream’???

I HATE MONDAYS

Hi folks.....how is this weekend???

Hope u r enjoying....yesterday on the way back to home from office I was very happy.

Guess why..............nothing special guys....two days weekend holidays na so ha ha ha...I think almost all people in the world will be happy on the evening of Friday or Saturday....some people have two days holidays so they will be happy on Friday evening and some people work on Saturday also so they will be relaxed Saturday evening.Even school children and college students will be happy Saturday noon.

Even house wives will be happy on weekends because their husbands will take them out for picnic or shopping or at least they will spend time with them.And students will get more time to sleep and also more time to play with friends.

So everyone will like weekends.. then question comes which day you hate most??? I asked this question to many of my friends,professionals,children,housewives colleagues and relatives.The answer from almost all is "I hate Monday" I hate Monday" bla bla bla

Even me too hates this Monday...But why all Monday only...if u ask me then answer would be first reason is waking up early in the morning after two days weekend rest..next is go to company and start same work and take scoldings from boss and talk to same customers etc..etc...this happens all other days of working also...but after taking rest in the weekends, lived like king in the home...on Monday getting up early going and taking scoldings from boss..it feels so bad.Even bosses also hates Monday because after spending nice time with family in the weekends,they come to office on Monday with cool minds,if work is not complete though they are not interested to scold..they have to do that.

If u ask college students or school children,they say Aiyyo why this Monday comes so early i hate it ....but why ,here also same again have to see the face of same teacher and principal,should do the home work,if not done have to take punishments etc etc...

Same with the House wives also after enjoying in the weekend,have to get up early in the morning make things ready for children and working husbands.And after sending children to school and husband to work,they have to sit alone in home watching same serials in the TV.

On the same topic many have written books and poems also ie"I Hate Mondays"...many surveys also have taken place.In the survey 99% people hates Mondays.And reasons to hate Monday are plenty.

When I was in Sainik School also Monday was the hell,I think u may be knowing how busy routine will be in the defense schools.Only Sunday is the day on which we are left free.All other days sucks.That too after having nice time on Sunday and going drill parade on Monday early morning to ground and taking beatings from subedars(instructors) was the hell.If u ask any Sainik school guy that the day he hates most in school.Probably his answer will be Monday.

So friends ask your self which day u hates most and ask your friends also.Most of the answers will be 'MONDAY' 'MONDAY' and 'MONDAY'

Romantic Monsoon Rain(Mungaru Male)

Hi friends from last few days there is nice rain in Bangalore in the evening ….Waa such cool weather here its so romantic … in this cool cool weather if we are eating hot hot pakoda waa wat nice experience na…

Daily I go to company from basaveshwar nagar to bommasandra near narayana hrudayalaya which is almost near to tamilnadu boundry in company bus, which takes almost two hours to reach and while coming also it takes same time.

Every day its long journey which I travel, if I am tired then I goes for sleep during this journey or else I read news paper or novels in the bus. Also we (I and my colleagues) crack jokes and laugh lot in bus.

As usual clock showed 5.40pm on Wednesday, I logged out and came out of company, Waa what a romantic climate it was, there was cool air blowing, dark clouds were moving in the sky and there was lightening in the sky. I felt so relaxed after continuous nine hours of work. Office nalli yeste AC ,fan idru

Rain was about to start and I got into bus and sat in the window place, bus started moving slowly, as soon as bus started moving male nu shuru aage bitthu.our bus came on to the main highway which heads towards electronic city and started moving in uniform speed.

Male tumba jora ne ittu beligge inda bisi bisi bisilaninda bhoomi tumba ne sudta ittu ee male inda bhoomi tampu aagittu,mannin vasane barta ittu tampu gaali bisutta ittu,our bus reached electronic city driver paid money in toll gate and bus started moving on fly over ,I opened window male hani kadime aagittu aadre cool air matra hage ittu,I opened my mobile and media player on madide nice songs and cool air aha yen maja idanna anubhavisodu.

Namma bus silk board muttitu,aag tane ella office time mugidittu employees horgade barta idru,horgade male,alli alli chikk chikk gundigalu neeru tumbkondiddavu.swalpa jana bus stop nal wait madta idru.ennu swalpa jana alli angadigal munde nintidru.our bus took a turn towards BTM layout, there was lot of traffic jam in that road, here bus was moving slowly.

After half an hour our bus came near Jayanagar 4^th block, I saw small children were jumping and enjoying in the rain on the streets, couple of lovers were moving in the rain holding each others hands, color color umbrellas were seen in the streets. Next our bus headed towards basavangudi many people were eating hot hot pakodas and panipuri on the road side. so many birds were coming back to their nests and was hearing noise many frogs.

Since there was heavy rain there was lot of traffic jam in all streets, so our was moving very much slowly. I was enjoying by seeing all these things and listening to good songs like mungaru male title tarck…

So entire journey was enjoying and romantic on that day, that day it took almost three hours to reach my home, but I did not feel only that I took more time then all other days.

So friends , I think u all also enjoyed the rain on that day, if u have missed then enjoy next time.

Learn From People Around U

Hi friends.....

How are you??? After long time I am posting writing on above topic.You are thinking na what might be the content.
Well,we will be listening to many stories from friends and relatives about many boys ie that boy was very intelligent till 10th or 12th he was one of the topper but after joining college he learned many bad habits and not able to complete his degree etc etc....

Why we people learn bad habits soon and good habits we will not learn or we will take long time to cultivate them in our life.That is unknown.So in this point of time I am learning some good things from one small business man.

Today in this writing i am going to tell u about him,Now I am living in Basaveshwar nagar in Bangalore with my college friends.Daily we prepare food by our self in home only.So we bring all the vegetables and ration from shop which is beside our home.The story is about this shopkeeper from which we take vegetables n etc...

This man is so kind,sincere and down to earth,his shop is near our home ie in basveshwar nagar and his home is in JP nagar which is around 20km from this place.Every day this person gets up 4 in the morning and goes to market,buys vegetables and comes to shop within 6.30am and opens the door of shop.And night till 10pm he will be in shop only,after that he closes shop and moves back to his home.I think he will be sleeping around 12 in the mid night.Again get up 4 in the morning n same routine is followed.

So maximum he will be getting four hours to sleep in the night,though he is getting so much less time to rest,he will be very much cool and active while talking to customers.Normally what we think it is his business he is doing it,thats all.But there is lot to learn from him.

First is dedication,if you love your work and dedicate yourself to work then you will find work is nice and interesting,as u work u will succeed.Then next is punctuality,we work for companies but how much of us go in right time everyday,govt officials never come in time,where as this man maintains proper timings.And handling people with his coolness,this is one more thing to learn from him ie be cool always.

When you read this you may feel that nothing is special,but the thing i am trying convince is that,to learn good things or habits it is not necessary to keep big celebrity as your role model and follow them.Observe people around you and extract positive and good things from them and cultivate them in your life.When we follow and cultivate them in our life surely we will see success in our life.

After Holi in college

During college days we used to enjoy lot on holi day,as u can see above photo how we celebrated.

Every year we enjoy this much,but how much of us know the history of this festival?????? yes many people do not know about this.Lets have glance on this holi history....

In Vaishnav Theology, Hiranyakashipu is the great king of demons, and he had been granted a boon by Brahma, which made it almost impossible for him to be killed. The boon was due to his long penance, after which he had demanded that he not be killed "during day or night; inside the home or outside, not on earth or in the sky; neither by a man nor an animal; neither by Astra nor by shastra". Consequently, he grew arrogant and attacked the Heavens and the Earth. He demanded that people stop worshipping gods and start praying to him.....

Despite this, Hiranyakashipu's own son, Prahlada, was a devotee of Lord Vishnu. In spite of several threats from Hiranyakashipu, Prahlada continued offering prayers to Lord Vishnu. He was poisoned but the poison turned to nectar in his mouth. He was ordered to be trampled by elephants yet remained unharmed. He was put in a room with hungry, poisonous snakes and survived. All of Hiranyakashipu's attempts to kill his son failed.

Finally, he ordered young Prahlada to sit on a pyre on the lap of his demoness sister, Holika, who could not die because she also had a boon which would prevent fire from burning her. Prahlada readily accepted his father's orders, and prayed to Vishnu to keep him safe. When the fire started, everyone watched in amazement as Holika burnt to death, while Prahlada survived unharmed, the burning of Holika is celebrated as Holi.

There is alternative story detailing the origin of Holi. This story is about Kamadeva, a god of love. Kama's body was destroyed when he shot his weapon at Shiva in order to disrupt his meditation and help Parvati to marry Shiva. Shiva then opened his third eye, the gaze of which was so powerful that Kama's body was reduced to ashes. For the sake of Kama's wife Rati (passion), Shiva restored him, but only as a mental image, representing the true emotional and spiritual state of love rather than physical lust. The Holi bonfire is believed to be celebrated in commemoration of this event.

Above is the history of holi,but why colors,In Vrindavan and Mathura, where Lord Krishna grew up, the festival is celebrated for 16 days (until Rangpanchmi) in commemoration of the divine love of Radha for Krishna.Lord Krishna is believed to have popularized the festival by playing pranks on the gopis here. Krishna is believed to have complained to his mother about the contrast between his dark skin complexion and Radha's (Shakti or energy that drives the world) fair skin complexion. Krishna's mother decided to apply colour to Radha's face. The celebrations officially usher in spring, the celebrated season of love.

Above is brief introduction about this great country 'Japan'...Small Volcano and earth quake are common in this country, but This time country is hit by very massive earthquake of magnitude 9.0 in rector scale and followed by tsunami.Which created huge loss in the country.More than 10000 people are died,so many people are homeless,there is no power in the cities,no transport all roads are filled by water,four nuclear power plants are leaking radiations,these radiations are very harmful which creates uncured diseases in human.

Still this earth quake is continuing in the country, all countries in the world are joining their hands to help this small country.So friends let all of us also pray for quick recover of Japan.

LOVE TOWARDS KANNADA

Hi friends...How are you?? Hope all of you doing well…Did u see the Title?

Amazed na?? I would like to share an incident on this.

As you all know VISHWA KANNADA SAMMELANA is approaching very fast and this time it will be held in Belgaum. Lets wish for the success of this grand function.

OK Ok now coming to track ,now days you can see many people in Bangalore who speaks other language other than kannada,some speaks telgu ,some Tamil ,some speaks Malayalam and some others speaks Hindi. But you know there is one common language Adanna ellaru matadtar kanri, you know which is that?

Guess guess...I know wats coming in your mind…ya its correct …that is English…houdri even small children speaks English in Bangalore .Well we being kannadigas are also speaking English lot now days.

If you go near by any IT companies here, no one talks any local language, you will only listen English words…like wats going on buddy…wats up..Etc...Etc…

So this is the case in Bangalore, in this what I am going share is a small incident which took place yesterday with one boy (who really loves Kannada being non kannadiga)

I am searching for my dream job in Bangalore from last one month ,so it was Thursday and I had gone to SJBIT college in kengeri to write WIPRO test and it was completed at 4 in the evening .From there I wanted to go to JAKKASANDRA near Koramangala to meet some consultant.So I took bus to banashankari from there, and reached it, I was not knowing further route to Jakkasandra, so I asked one conductor who was standing nearby ‘ree jakkasandrake hege hogodu anta’ .He said ‘Alli hog nillappa 500 no bus barutte adakke hogu’.

I went there and waited for 20 minutes, but bus did not come, so I asked one person who was standing beside that how to go to that place. He said frequency of buses is less for that area so catch other bus and go to silk board from there u will get many buses. So I caught one bus which was going and sat beside boy and asked ‘silk board hogutta?’ then boy replied said ‘jata hai ‘ in Hindi.

I was thinking in mind ‘its hard to find people speaking kannada in Bangalore, same time conductor asked me for the ticket, I showed him my pass ,then he asked for boy sitting beside me,he said ‘nandu pass kanri’…so I got bit angry and asked him you know kannada and why did you speak in Hindi with me.

He said he is from chattisagarh and came here for the sake of study staying here from last 3 years .Do you know he spoke all this in kannada only ,I was amazed even kannadigas do not speaks that much correct ,then you would have said in kannada when I asked I said. He replied still I am learning it,iam afraid if I speak wrong any one will scold.

Then I asked him what more he knows about kannada, he showed his mobile with kannada alphabets in it, he learned all that, he knows kannada songs and loves kannada movies, tells names of heroes.

Then he asked me about my native place,I said me from Hubli ,I was shocked ,he learned north Karnataka kannada also bit,’neevu duddige rokka antiralla anta anda.

Later he said I love talking in kannada become perfect in that, but some of my friends says ‘yakappa kannada hal madtia tap tapp matadi,English matadu saku’ anta

I told him ‘let them say anything you speak kannada ok don’t worry no one will scold if u speak wrong they will support and encourage u to learn kannada.

Then I asked him about place where I was going ,he was also going by that way itself, so we got down at silk board and took other bus,he showed me the jakkaandra stop and I got down said bye to him.

So friends that was the incident which took place yesterday, I felt very nice seeing his love towards kannada, now days being kannadigas are not speaking kannada in Bangalore, we should really appreciate this boy.

And my request to all kannadigas is that encourage the people who loves to talk in kannada and teach them, please do not discourage them, be proud to be kannadiga.

'Happy valentine's day'

There will be many incidents,stories and memories occurs in every one's life but as the time passes we forget them.

But if u go back and remember the incident and write it you feels 'so sweet'...i am making such an attempt...

Well,friends here is one more small story i would like to share with u and make Feb 14 special.

"When I was a little boy, once we(family) went out for picnic to near by place and when we returned back it was nine in the evening and also we were very tired. My mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember that night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long time(since we ate lot of snacks in the picnic).

On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of sweets, khara, and extremely burned upma(uppittu) in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his upma , smile at my mom, and ask me how i felt at picnic today. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember Watching him eating that burned upma with smile.!

When I got Up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad For burning the Upma. And I'll never forget what he said: 'Dear, I love burned upma.'(yene ninge gottalwa hottida uppit nan like madtini anta)
Later that night, I went to sleep with my Daddy and at that time I asked him if He really liked his upma burned. He took me in his arms and said, 'Dear, u know na we were out for picnic whole day, we are tired and she's also really tired. And besides-a little burnt upma never hurt anyone!' You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook.

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting marriage relationship.

We could extend this to any relationship in fact - as understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent - child or friendship!! "

A best lesson which i learnt from him.

How r u? I think you enjoyed reading my previous stories...Thank u ....now i would like to share with u one story which i read it long before.I remember this story whenever I listen word 'LOVE'...friends its a story u never forget once u read this....ok here starts a story....

TRUE LOVE

Nurse: “It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman, in his 80’s, presented to have sutures (stitches) removed from his thumb.

He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him.

I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On examination it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. Asked him if he had a doctor’s appointment this morning somewhere else, as he was in such a hurry.

The old gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease.

As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in last five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him. “And you are still going every morning, even though she doesn’t know who you are?”

He smiled as he patted my hand and said. “She doesn’t know me, but I still know who she is.”

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, “That is the kind of love I want in my life.”

True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.
Check out the people you love .. is it as strong as this old gentleman... ?

It was small incident which occurred in my life during my college days(PUC college ie when i was in 12th ).
Now its Feb month,the incident which i am telling u also occurred during Feb month of 2005 it was exam time there was no college,we had study holidays and we use to study from morning till late night and never went out during these days.
Avattu Friday sanje 4 ಗಂಟೆ ,ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗಿಂದ ಓದಿ ಓದಿ ಬೇಜಾರ ಆಗಿತ್ತು ,ಹಾಗೆ ಮೈ ಮುರುಯುತ್ತ ರೂಂ ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಬಂದೆ ಇನ್ನು ತುಂಬಾ ಬಿಸಿಲು ಇತ್ತು, ನಮ್ಮ ರೂಂ ಸೆಕೆಂಡ್ ಫ್ಲೂರ್ ನಲ್ ಇತ್ತು ,ನಮ್ಮ ರೂಂ ಮುಂದೇನೆ ರೋಡ್ ಬಹಳಸ್ಟ್ ಗಾಡಿಗಳು ಹೋಗ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದವು.
ಜನರು ರೋಡ್ನಲ್ಲಿ tirugaddattidru ಇನ್ನೊಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿದ್ರು.ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂತು ಎಲ್ಲ ನೋಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೆ.ಇನ್ನೇನು refresh aytu anta tirugi room valage hog bek anta turn aagta edde suddenly my eyes were caught by beautiful girl who was going on road,again i turned back and started watching her with my mouth open..
abba she was very very beautiful girl.... she was wearing pink colored chudi color ge takka pink bangles and pink colored sandals..evrything was matching matching...i could observe light color lipstick on lip also...suddenly i remembered a song from premaloka 'limbe hanninanta hudgi bantu nodu'....and my imagination reached its highest level ie..i was having nice time with her in goa beach....suddenly i heard voice from my room mate ಸಾಕು ಬರಲೋ valagade ಏನ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದಿಯ ....suddenly i saw down she crossed the road and went ahead 200 meters...then i ran inside room weared my shirt and chappals 'le swalpa hottu horagade hogi bartini' anta heli allinda kelagade bande..
Street was bit busy and she was going around 300mts ahead of me and i started following her,i was just jumping and seeing so that she should not go out of my sight....yappa at that moment wat i was doing really i was not doing ...in next 2 days i was having final board exams n i am following a girl on the streets of dharawad oh my god....by following i crossed two streets, in the next street there not much crowd so i could go near by her and now the distance was around 10meters behind her...suddenly she got call she opened her mobile,started talking in that and as i followed her i thought wat shall i talk suddenly if she turns back...
Nanna manass ಹೇಳ್ತಾ ಇತ್ತು 'ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ avala hatra hogi nillu yella bayalli barutte'anta.....by thinking that we crossed some more streets...to tell u really i was not in my control ...my mind was controlled by somebody else....in the next street some cool air was blowing and her loose hair were blowing back....again i went somewhere.....as every story has to end my story ended in the next street....iwas almost near to her and i was saying 'excuse me.....excuse me......i called her two times but my voice did not reach her.....as i decided to move still faster and talk something directly to her.... i moved faster ...her home was near by...suddenly two small children i think of 2 years old came running....'mummy' 'mummy' .......oh my god i said and turned back...smiling n smiling i rubbed my hair.....i asked pesron ತೆರೆ 'ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಯಾವ ಏರಿಯ idu
he said 'sadhankere'.....ayyo i was around 5-6 km away from my room....i thought of taking bus from there but saw no money in the pocket....innenu...i returned back to room by walk.....nice incident na...

something about pune

Dear all.......

         My previous posting was my first day experience in sainik school.... i told it will be continued ....i am not telling u that story now....that will be secret....when complete it i will let u read....
         So what i am going to tell is all about pune,so you all heard about pune but do you know where exactly it is situated.....dont worry i will take u there,It is around 1000km from Bangalore,as usual there are three modes to go to pune from bangalore   1.It is by plane, if u sufficient amount of money in your pocket u can prefer this route.
2.It is by train ,u can take any train which goes to Bombay and its cheaper also but the problem is if u take Bombay train it will be reaching pune in mid night so till morning u have to spend time in station itself.Also there are some trains which reach in right time but they r not daily trains.
3.And final is by bus it goes by NH4 high way if u take any travels it costs around Rs1000 and if u go by govt bus it is lesser.

       So these are the modes u can choose any one to come to pune....This wonderful city is situated on the banks of river mula in western ghats,recently this city was also considered as metro city ,it is in Maharashtra state and language is Marathi.
Well,that is the some rough introduction to pune,now i will introduce areas of pune,some of the famous area includes swarget,kothrud,deccan,malwadi,koregaon park,fc road,pune camp,chinchwad,pimpri,nigadi,erawad,katraj,aundh,baner,hinjewadi,hadapsar,magarpatta,bhosari,vishrantwadi etc.......when u go by bus u will reach area called swarget like mejestic in bangalore....
Hay guys belonging to karnataka how this guy know about pune u r thinking correct??????? frnds i spent my valuabe one year in this city.
          Before i start how was my experience in pune i would like to tell how this pune near to some of the famous places.It is around 170km from Bombay ,200 km from famous shiradi,70km from Lonavala and khandala and 150km from mahabaleshwar which is famous tourist spot and 200 km from kollapur....
           Almost 30 - 40 percent indian defence establishements are in pune that includes National defence academy,AFMC etc....
Flash back.....flash back.....
   It was in september 2009, i finished my Engineering there was recession and no job in hand,i decided to go to pune to hunt job so departed from Dharawad,got into bus with my two three bags and caught one window seat and sat down.After five minutes one more person came sat beside me and asked 'yenri yelige hogtidira' nan 'pune ande...oh 'first time?' 'yes' i said 'oh all the best' he said.Then i went to sleep.
   'yelappa pune last stop bantu' as i heard voice from conductor i got up and saw in the window finally i was in the unknown place called pune.just i got down from bus with heavy luggage.it was around 5.30 in the morning i could here chili pili sounds of birds.As soon as i got down some auto drivers approached me and said 'sab kaha jane ka ? bag de do' i said 'nahi bayya nahi bayya' and came to one conductor and asked bhayya at wat time we have bus to station,he said its at 6 i waited till that i got bus 6 and reached station.
I called my cousin and said me landed up in pune how to come your flat he just said the route and i followed it and reached his flat which was in vishrantwadi.That full day i took rest.
From next day morning my real hunt for job started,in the beginning it was very difficult to roam around coz of new place and language,not even single ward i was not knowing in marathi and hindi also was not perfect,god knows how i spent some beginning days in pune...u all know time changes everything i first learned how to talk hindi properly and slowly marathi and got to know places in pune,which are industrial areas...and to tell u not even single industrial area i left... i roamed all the areas and gave interviews in the beginning they is to reject me why u know....just guess marks..no..cos i have good academic record then why coz i was not knowing marathi.....they love their language very much so its very difficult to adjust in pune for an outsider.....
                          Searched,searched and searched ...finally one company offerred me a job and joined also..
and my new corporate life was begun...

Hi every one .....

I am Vijay Javali friends call me as 'javli','javalya','jouls'......they likes calling by that name and me too likes that..
So how can i start with.....
I am basically from village in Dharwad district,karnataka...born there ,father was teacher so they wanted me to go to ukg n lkg but i never went...finally when i was 6 years old he took me to school got admitted into primary school but never sat in the school my mom was coming with me till the school every day but after the prayers i was slowly escaping from the school.....
So that was very bad start one day my mom caught me while i was escaping that day i saw hell(bitten up by my mother)....i think that was last day i never bunked single class after that...
As the time passed i started loving the school,subjects and friends....at that time i got frnds chandru,ganga n sangeeta.....but i used to talk very less during school days the same character continued....i was bright student so after my 5th class i got admission into sainik school bijapur....

at the starting i found very difficult to adjust to that new environment.....routine was getting up @ 5 in the morning going to PT in that chilly morning with white n white short n shirt after coming from there getting ready for the school with kakhi dress i never listened to single class coz by the time when we is to get tired specially me..got scoldings from all teachers after the class @1.30 we there is to rest till 4 in the evening but our seniors never left us free....le bring me that ...do this..do that...so our rest time was passing like this...@4 again getting ready for sports ....play or dont play u hav to be in field till 5.30pm....our routine is not over still...our refreshing time ie bathing time was in the evening coz never got time in the morning....exactly @6.30 it was study time till 8 we have to go to study hall n attendence was taken by a tutor....at 8 we use to have dinner that to we should finish it in a limited time....i never did that ...so u can see my personality why i am lean
after dinner ...u r thinking its sleeping time ...no boss not at all....we have to sit for study again @10.30 our house master will take attendence again....so daily we were sleeping after 11 in the night
So that was routine got fed up in the some days only thought of running out of there but it never happened as the time passed got adjusted again....
All the things i would like to share in detail here......on the first day i came along with my father to bijapur n landed up in the bus stand..wa wat clean city...where ever u see opened manholes n pigs looks like gundas roaming around street...we took auto n started our journey towards sainik school...my father was very happy coz iwas joining school which was his dream school...infact me too was very happy....we asked the driver 'yenappa ennu yest dur ede school'....'bantu swami nodi alli ede main gate'...nav hage nodididvi....wa wa such huge campus....i just closed my eyes thanked the god for giving me opportunity to study inthis school....as the auto crossed the main gate we saw many big grounds some teachers residents principal's bunglow...finally came infront of main building ..me n father got astonished by seeing that building...'swami 30 rupaya aytu kodi late aagutte hogabeku'anta anda autpo driver.....oh take it anta my father gave him 30 rupees...before we enter building we saw a aeroplane which was real one kept infront of the building...we went near by n obseved carefully....i started climbing that one....'hay baro yaradru nodidre baytare'anta papa karidru..after
We entered the building first went admin dept my father showed him all the details about selection form and completed all the formalities...after that one of admin person said look that notice board n which house u belong n meet that house superidendent... there were total six houses in school and names were chalukya,hoysala,adilshahi,vijaynagar,wodeyar and rashtrakuta.....houses means these are residential name where we have to live...
I n father came out searched name in the notice board vijaykumar javali -3353- hoysala house...it was too rush ...many parents came with their sons for the admission...some were departing ,some were arriving..parents who were leaving were dropping tears from their eyes and guys were hugging their parents with tears in the eyes....i did not feel anything at that time..some were talking around 'abba namma maganige hoysala house sigalilla valledaytu,alli seniors bahala danger ante'....that time i saw change in my father's expression...so i touched him n said 'papa hogona'.....'hu nadipa yavkade hogodu' anta andru we had three bags which contained all six pair dresses n three pair shoes(which were complsury to bring before joining)..as we walked towards my great house..we saw classes they were well build n sophasticated ....again i observed smile on father's face....campus was very big it was around 400 acres...campus was well planned ...after crossing building from far we saw six houses....3 on one side n other three on other side middle there was mess..which was very huge.....it was aruond 4 in the evening all boys were neat dressed earing different color t shirts like blue,green,red,yellow etc n were giong in squad....we stood there n saw...also name written on hoysal a house was visible....we took short cut from there n reached the house...my father called one boy near n asked him 'yenappa superidendent room yellide'....adakke avnu 'uncle valagade first right hogi 'anta anda...
hage nan hatra bandu 'hay ee routalli(short cut) yak bande seniors nodidre hoditare main road nal barbeku'anta heli odi hoda....suddenly i remembered words said by parents in school building...my body started severing....then father took me to supt room showed him all the details...he varified all n checked the items which we brought ie dresse n shoes....he showed us the full house...there were 4 barracks each barrack was accommodating 30 guys...1st barrack was for 6th class n half 7th,2nd for half 7th n full 8th,3rd for 9th n 10th 4th was for 11 n 12th.....and one side there was big study hall which was common for all...he showed us the 1st barrack n bed ...as we go inside there is room where there r only cupboards...which were meant for one each and after that there were toilet and bathrooms which were comman for all.....i was very happy when i saw all this...then i saw time in the watch it was 5.30 ...also heard noise from outside..which was of guys who were returning from the games...as they entered they took towels n inner wears and running towards bathroom....my father said 'sari nappa naditini nanu late agutte'andru.....that time i could not control water rushed out of my eyes got up n hugged my father....that time 'hay albeda sari hogutte vand yerad dina aste'..anta andu....they left me......continued...
