Hola mis bellezas!
Hoy amanecí mucho mejor de salud y estoy lista para ponerme al día con todo!
Hoy les traigo un look super divertido, llamativo y perfecto para el verano. La verdad es que me he entusiasmado con colores brillantes para este verano, aunque en Panamá estemos entrando en época de lluvia, siempre encontraras días soleados y caluroso, como el verano, de modo que también aplica!

Pues bien, se que a muchas no les gusta o les temen usar colores tan brillantes durante el día, para salir, etc. sin embrago, este look es llamativo, pero se escuda de con una transicion chocolate, un color neutral, de modo que la intensidad baja. Espero les guste tanto como a mi.

Para es look use principalmente la paleta de 88 colores de Coastal Scent y para la cuenca del ojo, el toque neutral con los chocolates, use la paleta de Wet N' Wild Vanity, los dos últimos chocolates.
Les muestro debajo los colores usados para el look.

Today I woke up feeling much better and I'm ready to catch up with everything!
I bring you today a super fun, bright look, perfect for summer. The truth is that I bright colors are growing on me for this summer. Fun fact: in Panama we are entering the rainy season, however there's always sunny days and is warm, like summer, so, I can still count that as summer, therefore this look applies! LOL

Well, I know a lot of you pretty girls do not like or are afraid to use bright colors during the day to go out, etc.. however, this look is bright but subtle enough to use it, since we are using a transition neutral or brown colors to balance it, helping lower the intensity. I really hope you like it as much as I did.

Is used primarily for the look, the palette of 88 eye shadow colors from Coastal Scent and on the crease, the neutral touches with chocolates or browns, were using the Wet N 'Wild Vanity palette, the last two chocolates.
I also show below the colors used to the look.

Toma un poco de tiempo difuminar los colores, así que tómense su tiempo. Trabaje de 1/3 en los parpados.
Primero el turquesa, luego el amarillo y finalmente el naranja. Luego empece a hacer la transición del naranja al chocolate con el chocolate de que les muestro en la paleta de 88 de Coastal Scent y con los chocolates de la paleta de Wet N' Wild di profundidad y termine de darle un poco mas de drama.
Los mismo pasos para la linea de las pestañas inferiores.
Use un lápiz negro para delinear la linea de las pestañas superiores y difumine, pero en la linea de las pestañas inferiores use un delineador en color aqua para hacer contraste.
Aplique mascara de pestañas y listo!

It does takes some time to blend the colors, so take your time, no rush. Work 1/3 of the eyelids.
First the turquoise shade, then yellow and finally orange. Then I started to make the transition from orange to chocolate with chocolate/brown that I show in the 88 palette from Coastal Scent and the brown shades to darken out the look I used the Wet N 'Wild palette, to finish giving depth and a little more drama to the look.
The same steps to the lower lash line.
Use a black eyeliner to outline the upper lash line and blend, but for the lower lash line I used an aqua color eyeliner for contrast.
Apply your favorite mascara and you are done!

Como ya los ojos tienen demasiado colores, dejemos las mejillas y labios nude o neutrales.

As the eyes are too colorful, let's leave the cheeks and lips nude or neutral.

Hola mis bellezas!
Como están el día de hoy? Espero que muy bien, por mi parte amanecí algo enferma, así que me lo tomare suave hoy, a descansar un poco a ver si me recupero para recargar energías para la semana.
De modo que les hago una entrada de lo mas corta.
Este look es super sencillo, bastante natural con corales/naranjas sutiles y un dorado con brillo que use el Domingo, para un día lleno de salidas de chicas y mandados. Como era un dia caluroso y de mucho sol, me pareció un color alegre y fresco para usar.

En los ojos use un dorado en el parpado y corales en la cuenca y esquina de ojo. Iluminador en el lagrimal y lápiz blanco en la linea del agua, lo cual me gusta hacer para un look natural y fresco. Use un delinador chocolate para mantenerlo fresco y mi mascara de pestañas.

Para darle contorno al rostro el clásico bronceador mate y el rubor coral para las mejillas (super sutil).
Para terminar unos labios coral intensos y encima un tono un brillo color naranja claro.

Les muestro debajo unos hermosos aretes naranja que compre en uno de los Trunk SHow de IlComplemento, que realmente siento que complementan mi look y mi vestuario.

How are today? I hope very well, I woke up a bit sick, so I am planning to take it easy today so I car recover for the week. Therefore yo can image how short is this post.
This look is super simple, quite natural with coral / orange shades with a hint of golden glow, i wore on Sunday for a girls shoppping day and some errands.
Being a hot day and lots of sun, I found a cheerful this shades to be colorful and cool to use.

In the eyes use a gold shimmer shade on the lid and corals in the crease and outer corner of the eye. Highlighter on the tear duck and white pencil in the water line, which I like to do for a more natural and fresh look.
Used brown liner to keep it subtle and my current mascara.
To contour I used as always a matte bronzer and a subtle coral/warm blush for the cheeks.
Finally intense coral lips and a light orange gloss over.

I show below some beautiful orange earrings purchased in one of the Trunk Show by IlComplemento, I do feel they do complement mu outfit and look.

Un dato curioso que les quería contar: Cuando pasamos por el mall a ver cosméticos, y visitamos el stand de Clinique, la chica me tomo de ejemplo y me dio un cumplido por mi piel, mas que todo la rutina de cuidado del rostro que hago, porque se refleja en mi rostro, fue todo un halago :D

Que les pareció el look, yo quería algo alegre y sutil.

Hola mis bellezas!
Aquí les traigo una entrada super rapida, mostrandoles un look bien natural, que les haré ver los ojos mas grandes y al mismo tiempo es muy veraniego.

Solo necesitan un delineador negro y blanco, un labia y brillo en tono rosa suave, sombras neutrales y mascara para pestañas.

Lo que hace ver los ojos mas grandes es el delineador blanco en la linea del agua, si los quieres estilo muñeca, pasa el delineador en la linea del agua y un poco mas afueras y debajo entonces aplicas el delineador en negro.
Para ver los ojos mas dramáticos puedes añadir pestañas falsas arriba e individuales debajo. Yo use mascara de pestañas.

Here I bring you a super quick post, showing you a very natural look, this one gives the ilusion of bigger eyes and at the same time is very summery.

Just need a black and white eyeliner, a pink lipstick and gloss, soft neutral shadows and mascara.

What makes the eyes look larger is the white eyeliner on the waterline, if you want style doll eyes, apply the eyeliner on the water line and a little below outside and then apply the black eyeliner untherneath.
For more dramatic eyes you can add false eyelashes on top and individual lahes below. I used mascara.

Me pareció super divertido y creo que lo usare en estos días calurosos, es fácil y rápido.

Aquí les traigo la reseña o review de la manicura Press-on de imPRESS.
Esta ha sido una de las mas sencillas, practicas y divertidas manicuras que he tenido.
Este concepto no es nuevo, las uñas postizas están desde que tengo memoria, o cuando eran niñas no les emocionada colocarse esas uñas postizas de colores? Verdad que si?
Pues es básicamente lo mismo, solo que esta vez no tienes que ponerle goma, son estilo stickers, solo quitas la película de plástico que las protege, te la colocas, presionas y listo!

Lo que me gusta de este concepto es que no tienes que preocuparte por el tiempo de secado y si tus uñas no tienen la longitud que quieres, con estas lo consigues. Ademas, si deseas hacerte unas manicuras con diseños, solo para variar y hacerlo mas divertido, pero no tienes tiempo, estas ya las traen.

Su precio es de US$6.95 + impuesto y vienen 24 uñas, con extras por si tienes algún accidente, ya que te deben durar (segun las instrucciones) 2 semanas, de modo que por un paquete tienes para 2 semanas.

I'm bringing the review for the Press-on manucyre by Impress.
This has been one of the most simple, practical and fun manicure I have tried ever.
This concept is not new, artificial nails are since I have memory, or don't you remember when you were a little girls weren't you thrilled to put on those colored fake nails? Am I right? It is basically the same, only this time you not have to put rubber to glue them, they are like stickers, only remove the plastic film that protects the fake nails, press and you are good to go!

What I like about this concept is that you do not have to worry about drying time and if your nails do not have the length you want, with these you get it. Also, if you want to wear some creative and fun nail designs, just for a change and make it more fun, but do not have time, well this really makes it easier for you.

Price is $ 6.95 + tax and comes with 24 nails, h extras in case you have an accident, and you should take (as instructed) 2 weeks, so one package should last you 2 weeks.

Lo que me llamo la atencion en primera instancia fue el empaque, las uñas falsas vienen dentro de un empaque plástico en forma de frasco de esmalte para uñas, el mismo es transparente, para que puedas ver el tono o diseño de las uñas. Viene con sus instrucciones en la parte de atrás y con una toallita para limpiar las uñas antes de colocarte las falsas.
Me gusta la idea de que sea portátil y practico si viajas, digo que para la chica que esta muy ocupada es una muy buena opción.

What caught my attention at first instance was the packaging, fake nails come in a package shaped as a plastic bottle of nail polish, it is transparent, so you can see the look or design of the nails.
Comes with instructions in the back with a washcloth to clean nails before applying them.
I like the idea of making it portable and practical for traveling, I say this is perfect for the girl who is too busy in my option.

Su aplicación es sencilla. Primero debes ir midiendo cada uña y escoger el par que le vaya a cada uña, luego limpias tus uñas con la toallita y entonces las aplicas.
Las uñas vienen con un plastico transparente en donde esta la goma, solo la remueves colocas la parte redonda en donde empieza la uña, presionas y listo.

Eso si, tienes que tener mucho cuidado al aplicarlas, si las colocas mal no puedes arreglarlo, al momento que las desprendes para acomodar la uña correctamente la goma pierde su efecto y no pega bien.

Its application is simple. First you must go measuring each nail and choose the pair that go to each nail, then clean your nails with the washcloth and then apply them.
The nails come with a protective clear plastic where the rubber goes, you remove it and apply the round part where the nail starts, press and you are done.

Be aware, you have to be careful when applying it, if you place it in a wrong way you can not fix it, when remove the fake nail to accommodate it, the rubber loses its effect and does not stick back well.

A mi me ha encantado el resultado, la verdad es facil, practico y rápido.

I really loved the result, the truth is easy, practical and fast.

Sin embargo, puede que encuentres problemas con los tamaños, en unas uñas tendrás mas suerte que las otras, como pueden ver la comparación de la primera uña y la que le sigue, unas cubren por completo y otras alcanzan de un lado, pero no del todo del otro.

However, you may find problems with the sizes, some nails will be luckier others, as you can see the comparison of the first nail and following it (photos above), you might find it covers well one part but not the other all other.

Después de varias lavadas de trastes, duchas, lavada de ropa y demás quehaceres, pueden notar como las puntas de las uñas se van perdiendo y se vuelven blancas (primera imagen arriba).
Y para el tercer día ya se me había aflojado una uña y toco quitármela (segunda foto arriba).

After repeated washing dishes, showers, clothes washing and other chores, may notice the tips of the nails are lost and become white (first image above). And for the third day I had loosened a fingernail and had to remove it (second photo above).

Conclusión y opinion personal:
La verdad me han encantado! Para chicas con uñas debiles y quebradizas, son la perfecta opcion, siempre y cuando tengan cuidado al colocarlas.
Eso si, son realmente para usarlas solo en ocasiones especiales, eventos, salidas, etc. Definitivamente no es para el diario vivir, tendrías que tener demasiado cuidado todas las semanas, no se si duren la semana completa, pero con las de repuesto tienes si acaso se te despegan las que estan de sobra, de lo contrario tendrías que usar adhesivo para uñas para re-aplicar, lo cual pierde todo el concepto de no usar goma.

También me hubiera gustado si tuvieran mas variedad o al menos mas opciones de comprar con tamaños mas pequeños y un poco mas cortas, para personas como yo que no estan acostumbradas a uñas tan largas, puede ser algo incomodo, principalmente cuando estas usando un teclado, en mi experiencia.

Igual me encantan y si las compraría para ocasiones super especiales, por una noche o inclusive dia te deben ir genial, si no tienes tiempo de ir a hacerte una manicura y el precio tampoco esta mal.

Conclusion and personal opinion:
Actually I've loved them! For girls with weak and brittle nails are the perfect option, as long you are careful to place them.
However, i do think this are for one application only and mostly for special occasions, events, dates, etc.. Definitely not for everyday living, you would have to be too careful every week, I amo not sure if they would last the whole week, but you have the spares in case you have an accident, you can replace them if you are lucky enough to loose the one that fit the spares, otherwise you would have to use adhesive nails to re-apply, which lost the whole concept of not using rubber from the beginning.

I also would have liked if they had more variety or at least more options in size wise, to buy smaller sizes and a little shorter (lenghtwise), for people like me who are not used to such long nails, can be somewhat uncomfortable, especially when you're using a keyboard, in my experience.

Like if I love and buy it super special occasion, for one night or even a whole day it should be fine, in case you have no time to get to a beauty salon for a manicure, for the price for many, it could be a life saver.

Hoy les traigo un look inspirado en mis nuevas uñas falsas que compre recientemente, aun las estoy probando y la verdad me he divertido mucho, pero no todo es hermoso, les prometo una reseña pronto!

Pues las uñas tienen un diseño de reptil, pero los colores son neutros, chocolates y dorado, así que alli fue mi inspiración.

The nails have a reptile design, but the colors are neutral, chocolate and gold, so there was my inspiration.

Pienso que es un look neutral, eso si con mucho brillo y diría que lo pueden usar tanto de día como de noche.
Aproveche y probé la mascara de Revlon, no puedo darles una opinión aun, tengo que seguir usándola mas, lo que les puedo adelantar es que su alargan bastante.

Contorno con bronceador mate y mejillas y labios neutrales.

I think it is a neutral look, though if very bright, I think it would perfect for both day and night.
Took the opportunitty to try my Revlon Mascara, I can not give an opinion yet, I have to keep using it, what I can advance is that in fatc, you get a lenght for sure.

I countour my face with a matte bronzer, and finally cheeks and lips neutral.

Esta es una entrada rápida, solo quería compartir unas compritas que hice recientemente, mas que todo para re-poner algunos productos que me hacían falta.

Primero, ya se me cumplió el tiempo de la mascara, saben que esas no duran mucho tiempo y quise probar una nueva de Revlon, esta es la Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition, es una mascara que ha estado en el mercado por rato, pero recuerdo cuando empece a usar maquillaje, probé una de estas (la marca si no recuerdo), que era un duo, primer y mascara, así que me dije que era hora de regresar a ver que tal.
Todos los productos los compre en las Arrochas.

This is a quick post, just wanted to share a super dupper small haul I did recently, most of all to re-stock items.

First,it was time to get a new mascara, you know that these do not last long and I wanted to try a new one from Revlon, this is the Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition, is a mascara that has been around for a while, but I remember when I started wearing makeup, I tried one of these (I do not remember the brand), but was a duo just like this, primer and mascara, so I told myself it was time to go see this.
All products were bought on my local drugstore Arrochas.

Mis aplicadores cosméticos, que los uso diariamente para quitarme el delineador y cuando iba saliendo de la seccion de maquillaje, pase por un estante donde tienen esmaltes de uñas y me encontré con este Press-on Manicure, que me conquisto! La verdad este tipo de concepto no es nuevo, pero no me pude aguantar y me decidí a probarlo.

My cosmetic applicators, which I use them daily to take off the eyeliner and when I was getting out from the makeup section, I passed a shelf where they have nail polishes and I came across this Press-on Manicure, I just had to try it!

Para personas con uñas débiles es una buena idea, pero toca probar a ver que tal.
Les prometo review de ambos productos!
Díganme, han probado la mascara de Revlon o este tipo de manicura? Que tal?

For people with weak nails is a good idea, but I have to try it out and see how ir plays.

Look: Cuarteto Revlon Colorstay Inspired / FOTD: Revlon Colorstay Quad Inspired

Hola mis bellezas!
Aquí les traigo un look usando el cuarteto de Revlon Colorstay Inspired.
La verdad tenia ganas hace rato de poner a prueba este cuarteto, los colores claros son muy brillantes, los mejores son el blanco/vainilla y el celeste, el verde pigmenta bien, pero hay que re-aplicar varias veces ( la verdad hice lo mismo casi con todos, menos el blanco/vainilla, que esta perfecto como iluminador) y el morado, definitivamente no tiene mucha pigmentacion, cuando lo difuminas se pierde por completo, para darle profundidad use una sombra negra.

La verdad la combinación de colores esta linda, atrevida y divertida, pero les soy honesta pienso que deben trabajar bastante los colores, de igual forma tengo que seguir probado a ver que tal se comporta, porque los colores definitivamente me encantan y los claros son sumamente brillantes. También tengo que probar su durabilidad.

I'm bringing you a look using Revlon Colorstay quad in Inspired.
Truth to be told I had wanted to test this quad for quite a while since I got it , light colors are very bright, the best are the white / vanilla and baby blue, the green pigment well, but I had to re-apply several times (actually did the same almost all shadows, but the white / vanilla, which is perfect as a highlighter) and purple, definitely does not have much pigmentation, when blending away it get lost, to add depth I used a black shadow.
Actually the color scheme is beautiful, bold and fun, but I'm honest I think if you use it you have to work the shadows a lot.
Anyways I still have to see how they behave, because I definitely love the colors and the light ones are very bright and pretty. I also have to prove its durability.
In the meantime I leave you the complete look below and a before and after photo.

Aquí les traigo otra reseña o review, esta vez es la esperada Hot Pink BB Cream de Skin79. Esta la gane en un sorteo y moría por probarla!
Empecemos por su nombre, BB quiere decir Blemish Balm o Beblesh Balm y es una base liquida/cremosa para el rostro con cualidadeses multifuncional.
Es un producto de Corea.
Concepto Original: Fue creada por dermatologos en Alemania para tratar y proteger la piel de sus paciente después de la cirugía.
Luego el BOOM empezó cuando las celebridades Coreanas empezaron a usarla para crear una piel radiante, saludable y sin imperfecciones, de allí su popularidad creció tanto, que las casas de maquillaje coreanas aprovecharon la idea y crearon sus propias formulas para una base con color para el rostro que cuidaran el rostro a medida que se usa.
Las BB cream son de cobertura ligera a media y contienen varias funciones, minimizar y prevenir lineas de expresión, protección solar, cubre rojeses, aclara, entre otros.
La HOT PINK BB Cream es una de las favoritas del mercado. Esta en particular contiene 3 funciones principales: Aclarar, protección solar SPF25 PA++ y minimiza lineas de expresión, también controla el sebum del rostro (aceite natural de la piel) e hidrata la piel.

Here I bring you another review, this time is the most popular BB cream, the Hot Pink BB Cream Skin79.
I won this one on a giveaway and was dying to try it out!
Let's start with the name, BB stands for Blemish Balm or Beblesh Balm and is a multifunctional liquid/creamy foundation.
Is a product of Korea.
Original Concept: Was created by dermatologists in Germany to treat and protect the skin of patients after surgery.
Then BOOM began when Korean celebrities began to use to achieve radiant, healthy and flawless skin, hence its popularity grew so much that the korean makeup companies used the idea and created their own formulas for a base color foundation for the face that take care of the face as used.

The BB cream has a light to medium coverage and contain several functions, minimize and prevent fine lines, cover blemishes (therefor the name Blemish balm), has SPF sun screen, hydrates, whitening ingredients, control sebum (face natural oils), among others.

The HOT PINK BB Cream is the most popular on the market. This particular BB cream contains 3 main functions: Whitening, sunscreen SPF25 PA + + and minimizes fine lines, also controls the facial sebum (natural skin oil) and moisturizes the skin.

El empaque de la Hot Pink BB cream es un tono tosa/fuscia, es fuerte, compacto, cabe en la palma de tu mano y tiene un sistema de tubo exprimidor o pump, dando mas precisión a la hora de recoger la cantidad necesaria para la aplicación de producto, aparte de hacerlo mas sanitario.
Su contenido es de 40g y créanme, la primera vez que la vi pensé que era muy poquito, pero en realidad no necesitas mucho para cubrir el rostro y cuello, con el tamaño de un guisante es suficiente, la verdad creo que me durara por mucho tiempo.

Lastimosamente solo hay un solo tono para esta BB cream y es algo grisaseo, sin embargo después de aplicarlo, debes dejar que se oxide (cuando un producto hace contacto con el oxigeno) y que se asiente a tu rostro y va tomando el tono de tu rostro.
Es una base super ligera, no sientes que tienes nada en el rostro y no se siente grasosa (a pesar que si deja un acabado luminoso natural en la piel).

Para mi el tono sigue siendo muy claro, hasta "fantasmagorico" en mi piel, asi que luego que se asienta e mi rostro para sellarla y tomar el color, aplico una base mineral, en este caso uso Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder en tono Beige y me queda perfecto, un look natural y radiante.
Puede ver el proceso completo a continuación:
Primero sin maquillaje, luego aplicando solo en la mitad del rostro, difuminado sobre la mitad del rostro y cuello, después aplicado sobre todo el rostro y finalmente con maquillaje.
(Disculpen el cabello, no quería cooperar ese día) :P

The packaging of the Hot Pink BB cream is a tone pink/fuscia, is sturdy, compact, fits in the palm of your hand and has a pump, providing more accuracy in collecting the amount needed for the product application, besides the fact that is more sanitary.
Its content is 40g and believe me, the first time I saw it I thought it was too little, but you don't really need much to cover the face and neck, with the size of a pea is enough, I really think it would last for a long time.

Unfortunately, there is only one color tone for the Hot Pink BB cream and it's greyish, however after applying, you need it the cream to oxides (when a product comes into contact with oxygen) and when it sets on your face, starts taking the tone of your skin.
It is super lightweight base, you don't realize you have somehting on your face and does not feel greasy at all (despite the fact that it does leaves a glowy finish).

For me, the tone is still too clear for my skin tone, almost too "Spooky", so when it seats on my face, I set it with a mineral puder foundation, in this case use Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder in shade Beige and I get a perfect natural and radiant look.
You can see the entire process below: First, I have no makeup, then applying the BB cream only half my face, blend over half of the face, then applied over the entire face and neck and finally with makeup.

Para ser una base de cobertura ligera, cubre muy bien y empareja hermosamente la tez del rostro.

To be a light coverage foundation covers very well and beautifully evens the complexion of the face.

La verdad, después de usarla diariamente por al menos 2 semanas, note cambios en mi rostro, mas saludable y radiante (eso sin dejar a un lado mi rutina del cuidado del rostro).
Es perfecto para esos días calurosos o de poco tiempo, en el cual quieres algo de cobertura, pero no quieres demorarte tanto en maquillarte.

Actually, after using it daily for at least 2 weeks, I did notice changes in my face, healthier and radiant skin (not to put aside my face care routine).
Perfect for those hot days or in a hurry, in which you want some coverage, but do not want to take so long on your makeup.

Conclusión y opinion personal:
Me ha encantado esta BB Cream y como mencione anteriomente pienso comprarme el BB Cleanser tambien, que me encanto!

Pienso que le iria mejor a pieles claras a medias, yo estoy mas media que clara, pero si aplicas un polvo mineral encima para darle el color que quieres quedas perfecto. Si haces esto, te recomiendo polvo mineral para seguir la misma linea natural en acabado y como la BB cream de por si cubre, no necesitas mas cobertura.

Si prefieres mas cobertura, puedes ir aumentando poco a poco con la BB Cream, o puedes usarla como base y encima una base liquida o polvo compacto.
Como la BB cream hidrata puedes saltarte la hidratante si deseas, pero no es necesario.
Esta BB cream es perfecta para rostros mixtos a grasosos, por su control del sebum, pero tambien funcionaria muy bien para pieles secas, normales y sensibles, por todas sus funcionalidades y al mismo tiempo hidrata.

Es un producto espectacular si me preguntan, es multifuncional, ligero, cubre, durabilidad increible y no es tan cara para la calidad, esta la gane en un sorteo y no tengo idea cuanto puede salirles, pero la he visto desde US$10.00 (dependiendo donde la compres), por ejemplo puedes encontrarla en Amazon o por ebay, solo asegurate que sea Coreana, ya que hay muchas empresas occidentales que crearon sus propias BB creams y no funcionan igual, yo les recomiendo irse por las coreanas.
Definitivamente hace lo que dice, solo que para mi piel grasosa no controla la grasa tanto como yo quisiera, pero seria lo unico que no logra en mi, al menos.

Conclusion and personal opinion:
I love this BB Cream and as I mentioned before I also want to buy the BB Cleanser, which I fell in love!

I think it would go better for light to midium skin tones, I'm more midium than light, but if you apply a mineral powder on top to give it the color you want, you are done.
If you do this, I recommend mineral powder to keep the same finish line as natural in the case of BB cream, it does covers, so you don't need more coverage.

If you prefer more coverage you can build it out with the BB Cream, or you can use it as a base and apply on top liquid foundation or pressed powder foundation.
As the BB cream hydrates you can skip the moisturizer if you want, but not necessary.
This BB cream is perfect for mixed to oily skin, for it's sebum control, but also work very well for dry, normal and sensitive skin, for all its features and also moisturizes (dry skin).

It is a spectacular product if you ask me, is multifunctional, light cover or you can built it up, and incredible durability, is not as expensive for the quality, as I won it on a giveaway I can not tell you how much it cost, but I have seen it around US$10.00 plus shipping, you can find on Amazon or ebay, just make sure it is Korean, as there are many Western companies created their own BB creams and some does not work the same, I recommend to go by koreans.
It does what is says, the only thing for me is that does not control my oils (for my oily skin), as much as i would want to, that will be the only down side for me.

Knowing more deep in about makeup brushes, can help you choose the brush you need for your makeup application. First we must be clear on how a brush is made, consists of 3 parts: the handle (which can be made of various materials), ferrule or metal part and hair (which also can be of various materials).

Las brochas naturales usualmente son mas costosas que las sintéticas y son las preferidas de los maquillistas profesionales, gracias al acabado que brindan.
Las brochas naturales con el tiempo se vuelven mas suaves a diferencias que las sintéticas se vuelven mas duras con el paso del tiempo.
Debido a que las brochas sintéticas no absorben tanto producto son mas fáciles de limpiar que las naturales.
Si eres de piel sensible, es recomendable que uses brochas sintéticas, ya que el pelo natural puede provocarte alergias.

Ahora, si prefieres comprar solo sintéticas, no quiere decir que no puedas usar productos en polvo, para nada, en la actualidad hay muchas marcas que crean brochas sintéticas para todo tipo de aplicación y funcionan de maravilla. En lo personal prefiero las brochas sintética, ya que a pesar, de que la empresa que la hace puede que no haya lastimado ningún animal durante el proceso, prefiero evitar por un lado y también por que son fáciles de limpiar y preferencia.

Para las que viven en Panamá, puedes encontrar diferentes variedades de marcas para escoger, como por ejemplo:

EcoTools. Sus precios están desde US$2.99 (brochas individuales) hasta kits de US$12.99, hasta donde he visto, y las puedes conseguir en las Arrochas o preferiblemente El Rey, en el cual he visto mas variedad. Estas son sinteticas, de buena calidad y amigables al ambiente.
Real Techniques: Precios desde US$5.99 (brochas individuales) hasta kits de US$13.00 en las Arrcohas ( hasta donde las he visto por el momento), también son sintéticas y excelente calidad.

Esas son las dos marcas mas económicas y de buena calidad que les puedo recomendar conseguir en Panamá, sin embargo tenemos diferentes clases de marcas, pero un poco mas costosas en donde puedes conseguir brochas naturales o sintéticas como Smashbox, Clinique, Bobby Brown, entre otras. Lugares donde puedes conseguirlas en Panamá, Felix B. Maduro, La Riviera, Arrochas, entre otros.

Hay muchas otras marcas en linea, si te sientes mas aventurera como Sigma beauty, Urban Decay, ELF (eyelipsface), Tarte Cosmeticas, Coastal Scent, entre otros.

Cuales tipo de brochas prefieres y que marca es tu favorita?

Natural brushes are usually more expensive than synthetics and are preferred by professional makeup artists, thanks to the professional finish they provide.
The natural brushes eventually become softer with time, opposite to synthetic one, which become harder over time. Because synthetic brushes do not absorb as much product are easier to clean than natural brushes. If you have sensitive skin, you should use synthetic brushes, as the natural hair can provoke allergies.

Now, if you prefer to buy only synthetic, does not mean you can not use them to apply powders, not at all, nowadays there are many brands that create synthetic brushes for every application and work great. Personally I prefer synthetic brushes, because despite of the company that makes may say, that no animal was hurt in the process, I prefer to avoid it, just in case, beside they are easy to clean, plus is just a preference.

For those living in Panama you can find different varieties of brands to choose from, including:

Palladio Herbal Foundation Primer

Han comparado este primer al primer de Smashbox, yo lamentablemente no he tenido la oportunidad aun de probar el primer de Smashbox, pero les puedo decir que este primer me ha gustado bastante por su duración.
Lo he estado usando las ultimas 2-3 semanas y cuando me lo coloco les puedo decir que la duración de mi maquillaje ha sido extenso, mejor si estaba dentro de un lugar con aire acondicionado, pero su duración fue buena inclusive al aire libre.
Sin embargo, este primer no me redujo las lineas de expresión ni los poros en ninguna forma y tampoco redujo el exceso de grasa en mi rostro.
Su consistencia es grasosa al aplicar, pero en segundo su sensación de grasa desaparece.
Me encanta que el estilo tubo para exprimir, ya que se hace mas fácil controlar la cantidad de producto que se usa y es mas sanitario.
El hecho que el envase sea plástico es perfecto para viajar o llevar a eventos para aplicar a los clientes, la capa se ajusta perfectamente y hasta el momento no se me ha escurrido producto o se ha abierto la tapa.
Tiene un olor muy particular, nada agradable, pero casi ni lo notas.

People have compared this to Smashbox oil free primer, I unfortunately have not had a chance yet to try the Smashbox primer, but I can say this one I have liked because of its duration.
I've been using the past 2-3 weeks and when I applied it I can tell you the duration of my makeup had extended, better if I was inside an air-conditioning room, but the length was good even outdoors.
However, I didn't reduce the fine lines and pores in any way and did not reduce the excess of oil on my face. Its consistency is greasy once applied, but in seconds its greasy feeling disappears.
I love that style squeeze tube, since it makes it easier to control the amount of product used and is more sanitary.
The fact that has a plastic container is perfect for traveling or carrying events to apply to clients, the lid sets perfectly and so far I have not had any issue with the product spilling because of the lid.
It smells funny, not pleasant, but you hardly notice it.

Conclusión y opinión personal:
La verdad tenia esperanzas que este primer ofreciera mucho mas de lo que ofrece, para mi es muy importante que el primer reduzca las lineas de expresion y reduzca mis poros (ya que son enormes!) y este primer a pesar que lo promete no lo ejecuta, al menos en mi tipo de piel.
Su sensacion es grasosa y en lo personal detesto sentir aceite en mi rostro, afortunadamente solo dura unos segundos.
El primer es transparente y cuando se disuelve no se nota.

Sin embargo, les confieso que me gusta muchisimo, ya que si he notado que mi maquillaje dura un promedio 5-8 horas, la verdad para mi es lo que espero de casi todos los productos como minimo, no la he usado por mas tiempo, si logro usarlo por mas de 8 horas y veo que mi maquillaje sigue impecable se los hare saber en este mismo post.
Es un buen primer, pero hay otros muchos mas económicos si no puedes costearte este, pero si deseas lo que buscas es que tu maquillaje dure, este es lo que estas buscando.
En otra nota, Palladio no testea en animales, de modo que si apoyas esta causa es perfecto para ti!

Pienso que este primer le seria perfecto para pieles normales, mixtas y sensibles, gracias a su contenido a base de hierbas.
Yo tengo piel grasosa y me ha funcionado bien hasta el momento, pero de igual manera todo tipo de piel se maneja diferente y puede que no funcione para ti si tienes piel grasosa. Pero me atreveria arecomendarselas de igual forma.

Conclusion and personal opinion:
The truth is, I had hopes that this primer will offer more that it's supposed to offer, is very important for me that primers reduces lines expression and also reduce my pores (as they are huge!) and this one despite what it promises did not did it for me, at least in my skin type.
His feeling is greasy and personally I hate the oil feeling on my face, thankfully only lasts a few seconds.

However, I confess that I like a lot, because of it long lasting power, I have noticed that my makeup lasts an average 5-8 hours, the truth is that it is the time frame I expect of almost all products at a minimum, I have not used any longer than that, if I use it for more than 8 hours and I see that my makeup still flawless I'll let you know and update it in this post.
It is a good primer, but there are many more affordable if you can not afford this one, but if you are looking for your makeup to last for a 5-8 period of time as a minimum, this is what you are looking for. On another note, Palladio does not test on animals, so if you support this cause this is for you!

I do believe this primer will be perfect for normal, mix and sensible skin type since it herbal base, I could be out of line and recommend it for oily skinn too, since that is my skin type and it does work, but keep it mind that even though it could not work for you.

Como muchos de estos TAGS, son para conocernos mejor, de eso se tratan los blogs, para hacer amistades y compartir. Son 7 preguntas, así que manos a la obra!

Que sueles hacer los fines? Pues usualmente los Sábados me quedo en casa descansando o adelantando trabajo, organizando mis proyectos en la mañana. A veces tengo reuniones de trabajo o reuniones con colegas o eventos, asi que dependiendo de la fecha puede ser un Sábado tranquilo en casa o ajetreado. Los Domingos me gusta ir al super y arreglar un poco la casa y si hay tiempo salir a pasear ya que es mas tranquilo. Y finalmente a misa.

Como te llamas (nombre de pila, no nick)? Pues este es algo obvio, mi nombre es Ileana, con el cual siempre he tenido problemas para que me lo escriban bien, siempre es Ilena, Liliana, Lilliana, Leana, ect. Y a mi me parecia un nombre poco usual :P

De donde eres? Donde vives? Pues soy Panameña y vivo en Panamá o PTY. El lindo país que conecta Norteamerica con Suramerica, somos vecinos del lindo Costa Rica y Colombia, en Centroamérica.

Pues me encantan las reseñas, para mi es muy importante leer los comentarios de diferentes bloggers sobre productos que tengo pensado comprar, para tener una mejor idea de si me llegaran a funcionar o no. No Testeamos en Animales / No Testing in Animals

Hola mis bellezas.
Este post es algo diferente a los demás, en para concientizar y esparcir información.
Yo me considero una beauty blogger y como tal uno tiene que informarse como se debe en el tema, empaparse debidamente.
Hace una par de semanas gracias a Patri de Makeup by Patri, una colega blogger he podido aprender sobre esta campaña de no testear en animales.

Pienso que es muy importante, aprender qué marcas o compañias testean en animales y cuales no, ya que en mi caso yo pienso que es innecesario y salvaje usar animales para crear un producto de "belleza", donde esta la belleza en eso?

Lastimosamente, estoy aun aprendiendo, ya que se aprende algo nuevo día a día, sin embrago nunca es tarde y si eres amantes de los animales o apoyas esta causa es hora de ponerla en marcha.

Sin darme cuenta he comprado productos de marcas que testean en animales, pero no mas!
Toca ser parte del cambio, cada vez que descubra alguna marca que testea en animales se las haré saber al igual que las que no.
Tengo que confesar que me entristece saber que varias de mis marcas favoritas testean en animales.

Varias de mis marcas favoritas eran Loreal, Kleenex, Johnson y Johnson, Clorox, Pringles, etc. que ya han pasado a la historia para mi. Si, no solo productos de belleza hacen esto, de limpieza, comida, etc. Así que hay que estar pendiente.

I consider myself a beauty blogger and as such, if it's important to yourself, one has to inquire as to the subject, properly soaked in. A couple of weeks ago Thanks to Patricia from Makeup by Patri, a fellow beauty blogger, I have learned about this campaign on Not Test on Animals.

I think it is very important to know which brands or companies test on animals and which ones do not (if it's important for you), because in my case I think it's unnecessary and savage to use animals to create a "beauty" product, where is the beauty in that?

Unfortunately, I'm still learning, and you learn something new every day, but is never too late and if you love animals or you support this cause it's time to implement it get on board.

Without realizing it I purchased products from brands that test on animals, but no more!
Bbe part of the change, every time I find a brand that tests on animals I'll let you know as well as those that don't.
I have to confess that I am sad to learn that several of my favorite brands test on animals.

Several of my favorite brands were Loreal, Kleenex, Johnson & Johnson, Clorox, Pringles, etc.. that have already gone down in history for me. Yes, not only do this beauty products but cleaning products, food, etc.. So you need to be aware.

Si desean buscar detalladamente una lista de las marcas que no testean en animales visiten PETA y busquen por filtro las marcas o empresas.

Para que este post no sea tan triste les una lista de las marcas que si son totalmente cruelty free PETA aprobado! Y he adicionado algunos otros que he encontrado que son cruelty free. Las nuevas marcas que encuentren las colocare en verde.
Aclaro, que haré lo posible para actualizar la lista, sin embargo les exhorto a que averigüen por ustedes mismos si en la actualidad la marca sigue siendo cruelty free.

Si ustedes llegan a averiguar con certeza si una marca no testea en animales u otra que si lo hace les agradecería que dejaran su comentario debajo. Estamos aquí para ayudarnos.
Igual Patricia siempre esta al tanto y si encuentra informacion las coloca en sus posts, al igual que yo estare super pendiente y actualizando las marcas en este mismo post. Uno puede investigar contactando a la misma empresa.

En lo último, según este articulo en ingles MAC Cosmetics, ya no es una marca cruelty free, como pueden ver, el hecho que la marca antes era curelty free no quiere decir que lo sean por siempre. Otra que se pierde para mi.

Espero este post les sirva de algo para los que apoyan o quieren apoyar esta causa.

In the latest, as this article says MAC Cosmetics is not more cruelty free, as you can see, the fact that the brand was previously curelty free does not mean that they will be forever. Another one lost to me.
I hope this post will serve as something for those who support or want to support this cause.
I want to clearify that I did not created this post to look for controversy, I did it because I do care for the cause, and if you do too, you are free to join in, I am not here to judge. This is a delicate issue, so let's try to keep this space free from insults and manage this matter as adults.

Ya me encuentro mejor de salud y estoy de vuelta con nuevos looks!
Como mencione en Twitter, el Sabado pasado fui invitada a celebrar el cumpleaños de 2 amigos en un restaurante de comida griega llamada Pano's, aquí en PTY. Fue super divertido y quería aprovechar para poner en prueba el cuarteto de Revlon que compre un par de semana atrás.

Me puse mi blusa turquesa favorita (y luego les comentare porqué =D), y quise combinar el look con colores brillantes, usando el concepto color block o bloques de color, tanto en mi look como en la ropa.
Use el tono morado que esta en la paleta (se lo dejo a continuación), para crear un look ahumado.

I feel much better from my health, so I'm back with new looks!
As I mentioned on Twitter, last Saturday I was invited to celebrate the birthday of two friends in a Greek restaurant called Pano's, here in PTY. It was super fun and wanted to take the opportunity to test out the Revlon quad I bought a couple of weeks ago.

I wore my favorite turquoise blouse (I will explain this later on = D), and I wanted to combine the look with bright colors, using the color block concept trend (is very in now in pty), both makeup and fashion.
I used the purple color on is in the palette (I lshow it to you below), to create the smoky look.

Noté que la pigmentación era muy buena, pero no logre ver la intensidad que se refleja en la paleta lastimosamente, no use ningúna base negra, siendo casi una rutina al crear un look ahumado, de modo que con mas razón pude ver con toda claridad como se comporto la sombra.
Su poder de duración fue de 5 horas, donde durante esas 5 horas no vi ningún desvanecimiento de la sombra, se veía igual cuando me la acababa de colocar, no esta mal, en mi opinión.
Sin embargo, ya después de 5 horas fue que me desmaquille, de modo que no pude probar hasta cuando duraría.

El look completo es: labios rosa brillantes y un ahumado de un solo tono, así haría contraste con mi blusa turquesa y mis uñas amarillas. Me pareció super divertido y tuve una buena reacción por parte de mis amigos.

I noticed that the pigmentation was very good, but fails to see the intensity reflected in the palette. I need to clarify, that I did not use a black base, a must to create a smoky look, therefore with more reason I could see clearly how the shadow behaved.
Its lasting power was 5 hours, where during those 5 hours did not see any fading of the shadow, it looked like when I had just applied, not bad, in my opinion, however, I can't assure if the makeup could had hold on for mmore time, since I took off my makeup after 5hours.

The complete look is bright pink lips with a smokey eye, using a single tone, and would contrast with my turquoise blouse and my yellow nails. It was super fun and as far as that night, I had a good reaction from my friends.

En definitiva la sombra se comporto decentemente, sin embargo no recomendaría usarla sin un primer o pre-base para los ojos.
Debajo les muestro mis uñas en tono amarillo y mis aretes, una compra reciente en Steven's de Mulitplaza(los cuales me encantan!), van perfecto con el anillo que muestro debajo, que compre en Steven's también. Ambos combinan a la perfección con mi blusa turquesa, que cabe mencionar compre en Felix B. Maduro de Multiplaza.

Overall, the shadow behaved decently, but would not recommend using it without an eye primer.
Below I show my nails and my new matching earrings, a recent purchase at Steven's, which I love, they go perfect with the ring I show below, purchased in Steven's as well.
The combination is magical with my turquoise blouse, which i should clarify I bought at at Felix B. Maduro.

Look de uñas: Noche de estrellas / NOTD: Star Night

Hola mis bellezas!
Hoy amanecí con un ojo hinchado (cosa mas rara), pero estoy ya mucho mejor. De modo que sigo con mis looks de uñas, ya llevo como mas de una semana sin poder hacer algún look, pero toca cuidarse y ademas ya me siento mejor de todo, así que espero poder empezar de lleno a finales de la semana :D

Se me antojo un gradiente con colores oscuros, me inspire en una noche de estrellas, pero como no tenia esmalte negro (si, lo se! como es posible, un color tan básico LOL), pues tuve que improvisar y use colores oscuros, un morado y azul de la marca Jolie. Y para darle brillo o ese toque de "estrellas" use un esmalte con escarchas doradas y voila!

Espero que les guste la propuesta, a mi me encanto como quedo, Lo hice con la técnica de la esponja, super sencillo, pero bastante desordenado a la hora de limpiar :P Aun no me sale perfecto, pero cada vez un poquito mejor =D

Today I woke with a swollen eye (strange thing ah?), but I am already much better. So I still working only on my NOTD since I can't ware makeup, I've been like over a week without doing any makeup look, but I have to take care and I feel better all over, so hopefully I can start creating some looks at the end of the week =D

I was in the mood for a gradient nail design with dark colors, I was inspired by the night sky, but since I have no black polish (yes, I know! How I dare!, such a basic color LOL) I had to improvise and use dark colors, a purple and blue nail polish from the brand named Jolie. And to give that "star" touch, I used a nail posish with golden sparkles and voila!

Hope you like the proposal, I really like how it turned out, I did it with the sponge technique, super simple, but quite messy when cleaning =P Still does not came out perfect, but each time gets a little better = D

Mis primeras impresiones:

Me encanta el empaque, es cuadrado y sin espejo (en lo personal no me gustan las sombras con espejos, nunca los uso). Es interesante la colocacion de las sombras, unas mas grandes que otras, me gusta la diversidad.
Los colores se ven hermosos y vibrantes. Encontre 2 acabados en este cuarteto con escarcha y satinado. Pero no mate, lo cual me decepciona, una sombra mate es muy importante en cualquier combinacion de sombras.
Su pigmentacion pareciera excelente, pero recuerden que cuando prueba las sombras con los dedos puede verse pigmentada, pero su trabajo puede ser totalmente diferente en los ojos.
El cuarteto viene con un aplicador de esponja doble.
En la parte de atras viene con un pequeño tutorial de como combinar y colocar las sombras, algo que siempre me ha parecido muy practico si no tienes tiempo para probar o no sabes como combinarlas.
Como aun no he podido usarla como se debe, no puedo confirmar su duracion de 16 horas (como clama el empaque).

First Impressions

I love the packaging, is square and without a mirror (I personally do not like shadows packaging with mirrors, never use them). I think is super refreshing the placement of the shadows, some larger, some smaller, I like diversity.
The colors are beautiful and vibrant. Found 2 finishes in this quad: frost and satin. But no matte, which disappoints me, a matte shadow is very important on any shadows combos.
Its pigmentation seems excellent, but remember that when you test the shadows with your fingers they might appear pigmented, but their work may be totally different on the eyes.
The quad comes with a double ended sponge applicator.
In the back comes with a small tutorial on how to combine and place the shadows, something that has always seemed very practical (in my opinion), if you do not have time to create a combination or do not know how to combine them.
AsSince I have not used these yet, I can not confirm the 16 hours power stain (as it claims the package).

Me da la impresion que encontrare algunas sombras que funcionaran excelentes y otras no, pero con seguridad se los hare saber luego! Han probado algun cuarteto de esta linea?

I get the impression that I would find some hit and miss with these shadows, but surely I'll let you know later! Have tried some of this line?

Tocando fondo!: Sombra Showstopper de MAC / Hitting Pan! MAC showstopper eyeshadow

Hola mis bellezas!
Aquí les traigo otro producto para la serie "Tocando Fondo". Este es otro de mis productos favoritos, la sombra Showstopper de MAC, seguido por el bronceador de NYC en tono Sunny.

Esta sombra la puedes conseguir individualmente, yo la compre en el quad Burmese Beauty.
Es una sombra chocolate bastante oscuro, cuando lo aplicas podría verse casi negra.

La uso particularmente para rellenarme y darle forma a mis cejas siempre, puedes ver como se ven en todos mi looks. A veces la uso como sombra de transición en mis looks ahumados, ya que tiene un tono muy oscuro.
Se difumina muy bien, es super pigmentada y su tiempo de duración es excelente, dura muy bien las 8 horas como mínimo, al final de las 8 horas se ve un poco desvanecida a penitas, pero de nuevo, con este clima tropical-húmedo, no espero mucho, si me duran por lo menos 8 horas es perfecta!

Ya esta bastante gastado el quad, puede ver como estaba cuando recien la compre, les dejo todas las fotos debajo.

Here is another I Must have product of my "Hit Pan series"!. This is another of my favorite products the MAC Showstopper shadow, followed by NYC bronzer in Sunny.

You can get this shadow individually, I bought it in the Burmese Beauty quad.
It's a pretty dark chocolate shade, when you apply it could be almost black.

I use it particularly for filling and shape my eyebrows, you can see how they look in all my makup looks.
Sometimes I use it, as transitional shadow on my smokey looks, because of the very dark tone.
Blends very well and is super pigmented. The stain power is excellent, lasts at least 8 hours, at the end of my 8 hours is a bit faded, but again, in this tropical-humid climate, I do not expect much of any product, if it last at least 8 hours is perfect and a win for me!

It looks wuite used, as you can see why is mny favorite, you can see it when I just got it.

Serie Tocando fondo!: NYC Sunny/Hitting Pan NYC Sunny

Hola mis bellezas!
Esta es una nueva serie en IleanaRecommends: Tocando Fondo! En el cual mostrare mis productos de belleza favoritos o mis "MUST HAVES".

En esta ocasión les muestro mi bronceador favorito de NYC en tono Sunny.
Este es un bronceador mate, perfecto para dar forma u contorno al rostro, el tono Sunny es el color perfecto para el tono de mi, no es muy oscuro ni muy claro, es perfecto!

Lo uso cada vez que me maquillo, me da un toque cálido al rostro.
Su pigmentación es muy buena, no demasiada (he vistos otros mucho mas pigmentados) y se difumina con mucha facilidad.
Su duración es bastante buena, no me dura mas de 8 horas y a las 5 horas empieza a desvanecer, pero en este clima tropical-húmedo, casi ningún producto es tan duradero. Su tiempo de duración me parece muy razonable.
Una versión parecida (si no encuentras esta marca y tono en particular), es el bronceador de Rimmel London Natural Bronzer en tono 022 Sun Bronze (pronto le haré un post totalmente a la comparación).

This is a new series in IleanaRecommends: Hitting Pan! In which I will show you my favorite or my "MUST HAVES" beauty products.

This time I am showing you my favorite bronzer from NYC in Sunny. This is a matte bronzer, perfect to shape or contour the face, the tone Sunny is the perfect color for my skin tone, not too dark or too light, it's perfect!

I use it every time I wear makeup gives, it gives me a warm touch to the face.
It has great pigmentation, not too much as other bronzer from other brands, this one has a very reasonable one and blends effortly.
It stain power is pretty good, it do not last more than 8 hours and at 5 hours begins to fade, but in this tropical-humid weather, almost no product is so durable. Its duration seems very reasonable.
A similar version (if you do not find this particular brand and shade), si Rimmel London Natural Bronzer Sun Bronze-Tone 022 (soon I'll make a post entirely to the comparison).

Como mencione en mi FanPage, últimamente me he inspirado en looks de uñas debido a que he tenido los labios resecos y no me han dado muchas ganas de sacarle provecho a los días con un look, es bastante doloroso, fui al doctor y todo, me recomendaron una crema y estoy mejorando. De modo que me he divertido, sacandole provecho al diseño de uñas! De modo que toca aprovechar el tiempo y las uñas me parecía una buena opción. Es muy divertido, aun me falta practica, pero allí voy!

Honestamente, no me animaba a hacer el post, debido a que el diseño es demasiado OBVIO y fácil, sin embargo les dejo con mi propuesta y les explico debajo la inspiración.

En Panamá tenemos una tienda por departamento muy conocida y popular llamada Steven's y en este mes de abril (que ya termino) estaban en su temporada de ofertas, que a ellos les llaman Stivinitis. Cuando entras a la tienda y encuentras los productos con un punto verde (40% menos), quiere decir que esos artículos están en descuentos y están esparcidos por toda la tienda. El concepto de ellos es que los puntos se propagan como un contagio, y de allí la palabra Stivinitis.

Y esta es mi propuesta, mi contagio vino de unas compras que hice en la tienda y se esparcieron a mis uñas! LOL

As I mentioned in my FanPage, lately I've been inspired in nail looks because I have dry lips and I the enthusiasm of taking advantage of the day with a makeup look, it's pretty painful, I went to the doctor and all, she recommended a cream and I'm improving. So I thought of taking advantage on my nail art, it's been really fun! I still have practice, but here I go!

Honestly, I did not dare to do the post, because the design is too obvious and easy, but I leave you with my proposal and I explain my inspiration below.

In Panama we have a well-known department store called Steven's, this month (April which is now over) they have their sale season, that they call Stivinitis.
When you enter the store and find products with a green dot means that those items are on 40% off sale and are scattered throughout the store. Their concept is that the points are spread like a virus (which is contagious), and hence the word Stivinitis.

And this is my proposal, my infection came from shopping at the store and it's spread to my nails! LOL Hope you like the proposal, I let the products I used.

Hola mis bellezas!
Hoy no había tenido chance de postearles el diseño de uñas que hice (como les prometí en facebook), inspirada en el ultimo evento de Nail Art que visite hace un par de semanas atrás, así que aquí la tienen, lo prometido es deuda.

Les soy honesta, mi destreza para pintarme las uñas no es tan mala, pero me cuesta mucho no salirme de las orillas y cuando es hora de limpiar también soy algo torpe, así que toca practicar hasta cultivar la destreza.
Por ende quise probar con este diseño, les tengo los colores que use debajo.
Si deseas probarlo, solo debes usar colores que te gusten y listo.

La técnica la aprendí de esta talentosa chica, esta chica es una experta y muy creativa, se aprende mucho de ella, les dejo el video aqui.

I didn't have the chance, till now, to post (as promise on my Fanpage) the nail design I did, inspired by the last event of Nail Art, I visit a couple of weeks ago.

I have to be honest, my skill to paint my nails is not as professional looking as I would like, but I find it hard to stay inside the lines and when it's time to clean, I am also a bit clumsy, however if I pretend to get better at this, I have to cultivate the skill ...wrhich means: practice.

Therefore, I wanted to try with this design, I have all photos and products below.
If you want to try it, you just use colors that are close to this ones or your favorites ones.

The technique I learned it from this talented girl, this girl is an expert on the matter and very creative, you learn a lot from her, I leave the video here.

Hola mis bellezas!
Ayer en la noche tuve una salida con mi mejor amigo, una excelente persona y teníamos tiempo de no vernos, de modo que nos tocaba ponernos al día. Así que aproveche para probar unas sombras de ULTA que me regalaron hace un rato y cree este look.

Me disculpo porque las fotos tienen diferentes tonalidades, debido a que es de noche y no poseo buena iluminación, por que no se ve tan claro como quería, pero no quería desaprovechar la oportunidad de mostrarle la combinación.
Use tonos fríos en ojos y labios. En los ojos use un gris (tono parecido a la chaqueta jeans que llevaba) y lo combine con un vino en la cuenca y esquina del ojo, luego difumine. Hice las mismas combinaciones en la linea de las pestañas inferiores. Para darle el aspecto ahumado, aplique delineador en las lineas de las pestañas superiores e inferiores y difumine hacia afuera. Aplique el mismo delineador negro en la linea del agua y aplique mascara para pestañas.

La verdad, me decepciono los tonos fríos de la paleta, ya que su versión de colores neutrales es super pigmentada y al aparecer, esta no (a pesar que la combinación y colores se ven divinos!).

Last night I went to dinner with my best friend, an excellent person and we have not seen each other for a while, so we had to catch up. So, I took the advantage of trying ULTA shadows, that given to me a while ago and came out with this look.

I apologize because the photos have different tones and lightning, because it's night time and I do not have good lighting, so does not look as clear as I wanted, but did not want to miss the opportunity to show the color combination.
I used cool tones on eyes and lips. In the eyeslids I used a gray (tone close to the jeans jacket I am wearing) and combined it with a wine tone on the crease and corner of the eye, then blend. I did the same combinations in the lower lash line. To give the smoky look, apply eyeliner on the upper and lower lashesline and blend outward. Apply black eyeliner on the waterline and apply your favorite mascara.

Truth to be told, I am disappointed of the eyeshadows on the palette, as their neutral color version is super pigmented, however looks like this one is not (despite that the color are son divine!).

When you use water resistant makeup or mascara you need a good eye makeup remover and the bi-phasic Diadermine eye makeup remover has been my favorite product for several months.
I heard about this product thanks to Anna from AnaBeautyDark, I was curious to try it and so far is my favorite.

Desarrollado bajo control oftalmologico, el Desmaquillador del ojos Bifasico Express disuelve sin frotar toda clase de maquillaje, incluso los resistentes al agua. Formula no grasosa.

Modo de empleo: Agitar el envase y dejar que ambos ingredientes se combinenen y aplicar con algodón.

Hasta el momento no he tenido queja. No me ha lastimado o irritado los ojos si entra un poco de producto en ellos, es super suave y me dura una buena cantidad de tiempo.
Yo uso un pad de algodón para remover el maquillaje de mis ojos.
Primero agito el envase ligeramente horizontalmente para que los ingredientes se mezclen y aplico un poco el el pad de algodón, lo coloco en mis ojos por una par de minutos y luego con movimiento circulares voy removiendo el producto.

Me gusta que el envase sea de plástico, lo hace resistente a las caídas, sin embargo si vas a viajar y a llevarlo, te aconsejo colocarlo cinta adhesiva en la tapa y colocarlo dentro de una bolsa hermética para prevenir algún desastre.
Si lo tienes en la cómoda de tu cuarto, no debes tener problema, asegúrate de que este bien cerrada, hasta el momento no he tenido ningún accidente.
Es muy practico el estilo para escurrir el producto del envase, dándote un control de la cantidad del producto que necesitas usar.

So far I have no complaints. It didn't hurt or irritate my eyes if it gets a little product in them, is super soft and lasts me a good amount of time. I use a cotton pad to remove the makeup from my eyes.
First I shake the bottle slightly horizontally so that the ingredients are mix, then I apply a little onto the cotton pad, place it in my eyes for a couple of minutes and then doing circular motions, I remove the product.

I like that the container is plastic, makes it resistant to falls, but if you're traveling and your are thinking on take it with you, I advise you, to put tape on the lid and place it inside a zip lock bag to prevent a potential disaster. If you have it in the comfort of your room, you should not have a problem, make sure it is propertly closed, so far I have not had any accidents.
The packaging style is very practical to drain the product, giving you control the amount of product you need to use.

Conclusión and personal opinión:
Es mi desmaquillante de ojos preferido, no me irrita los ojos y hace el trabajo a la perfeccion. Su precio es super accesible y me su tiempo de duracion es razonable.
Solo debo aclarar que si se siente algo grasoso, pero como luego igual voy a lavarme el rostro, no me molesta.
Pienso que es un excelente producto, versus calidad y precio. Si deseas un desmaquillante para los ojos de buena calidad y precio, este es lo que estas buscando!

Conclusión and personal opinion:
It is my favorite eye makeup remover, it do not irritate my eyes and does the job perfectly.
The price is super affordable and its time duration is reasonable.
I must clarify that it does has a greasy feeling, but since by then I just have to wash my face, does not bother me.
I think it's an excellent product in price versus quality. If you want a good quality and price for an eye makeup remover, this is what you are looking for!

En un post anterior, comparti mi opinion sobre el desmaquillante Bifasico de Loreal y la verdad quiero compartir mi comparación.

Here I have a comparison with the Loreal Bi-phasic Eye Makeup Remover I posted a while ago.

Ambos productos son de buena calidad y hacen el trabajo a la perfección.
La única diferencia para mi es el precio.
Ambos productos contienen la misma cantidad pero Diadermine cuesta alrededor de 5$-7$ y Loreal alrededor de 10$.
Personalmente, con el de Loreal me era mas difícil controlar la cantidad de producto que quería usar en cada aplicación, a diferencia del de Diadermine, con la cual tengo mas control en la aplicación.

Así que es cuestión de gusto. Espero la reseña les sirva.
Han probado algunos de estos productos? Que les ha parecido?

Both products are good in quality and do the job perfectly.
The only difference for me is the price.
Both products contain the same amount but the Diadermine costs around $ 5 $ -7 and Loreal around $ 10. Personally, Loreal's makeup remover was more difficult to control the amount of product you want to use in each application, unlike the Diadermine, which I have more control in every application.

So it's matter of taste. I hope the review is useful.
