What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination, also called brow sculpt or brow lift, is essentially a perm for your eyebrows. The service quickly gained popularity in the U.K. in 2019 and made its way to the States late last year. Similar to microblading and tinting, brow lamination gave the illusion of fuller, more defined eyebrows. Where it differs from these two treatments, though, is that no pigment is added to your brows (though you can opt for an additional tint).
What is Lash Lift?

I'm at this age where I'm going through the horrid Menopause (I call it MONSTERPAUSE.) The hot flashes and waking up in the middle of the night..... that Gawd-awful natural 3:30 pm automatic wake-up call! I received the highest compliment from a client of mine just recently I had to share it with all of you. She comes in to see me once a month for a Microdermabrasion Signature Facial Treatment. One of my Clients asked where she could purchase the sonic scrubbing brush that I use on her skin within my spa room at Ma Jolie Salon & Spa. She really liked the way it cleansed. I explained what department store she could get it at. On her next visit with me she told me that the salesperson had sold her another device instead of the brush. It’s supposed to eliminate spreading bacteria and easier to keep clean. I asked her what was it called and what did it look like and all she could tell me is it was a silicon egg-shape device with micro fingers along the top of it. I thought, hmmmmmm, send me a picture of it, I’ve never heard of anything like it.

I did my research on the item and thought this is worth a look and ventured out to the department store to check it out. I held it in my hand to see the comfort with it then I turned it on to see how it operated. Then I saw that the cost is well over $150. Really didn’t want to spend that much!

When I got home, I started poking around online and found an item like it on Amazon called SOLO Milo and it was less than a quarter of the price! So I purchased it. The only visual difference between the SOLO Milo and the more expensive department store device was the shape and silicon micro-fingers. I found the operating difference between the two devices to be none. It did exactly the same thing as did the more expensive device did. So why the large cost at the department store?

The result after cleansing: I love how it made my skin feel and how clean it was after one cleanse! Previously without this tool after a regular facial cleansing, then using toner on a cotton round, I would still see dirt on the cotton round. However, after using this device, the cotton round came out clean!

My recommendation of the SOLO Milo is that it is an amazing tool and a very small investment to the health of your skin. It removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores of dirt, oil, and makeup residue, while enhancing the absorption of your favorite skincare products.

I contacted the company of SOLO Milo and they offered me a discount to all my readers and clients. Without a doubt, buy it. Especially those that have acne, this is the way to go vs. a scrubbing brush.

My recommendation for cleaning this tool after using it is to put some antibacterial gel or spray 70% alcohol on it, then turn it on to let solution vibrate around the tool. Wipe away on a clean tissue or towel.

Hormonal Acne can be a distressing and frustrating problem. First things first you need to recognize when and why this occurs. Get a pen and paper and write down the answers to when you first started seeing the changes?

Face: rub a 1/2 dime size of Coconut Oil between fingers and pat on to freshly washed skin, adjusting amount used as needed per your skin type. If you’ve used the coconut oil cleansing method and have plenty of oil left on your skin after washing, you can simply pat dry and skip the additional moisturizing step.

CLEANSE

EXFOLIATE

EVENING TWICE A WEEK. Exfoliate/scrub can make you see and feel a huge difference in your skin. It is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface and making your face feel fresh, clean and smooth. It’s the one thing you have to do twice a week in the evening.
