A Note To Dad

Dearest Dad,

When I was born, you were already there taking photos of me. You were so happy that you even displayed them on your exhibit. Those were really amazing shots, Dad! I really was an incubator baby weighing about 4,711gms, and you said I was smaller than a Jack Daniels bottle. That was an epic series of B/W!

When I was 2, you threw me in the pool and just watched me. I learned to swim because of that. You also gave me Crayola Crayons and I drew my first masterpiece. I learned all the different colors in no time!

When I was 4, you let me ride a horse and took me on my first go-kart ride. You also gave me the chance to play around Broadcast City, from the wardrobe/costume department to the video library where I picked out the movies I wanted to watch in the editing room while you were taping. You knew I loved costumes and the arts ever since. But when I was given a clown costume for Jonah's Birthday, I remembered having a tantrum because I hated the clown costume, which actually became a fear up to this day! Hahah!

When I was 6, you brought me to the shooting range and I learned how to shoot and clean guns. You also came with me on my first day of school. You said I was crying and didn't want to let go of your hand. You also went to the guidance office because you saw me push the two big girls bullying me and you didn't get mad at me for doing so.

When I was 8, you enrolled me to learn Combat Aikido and you came to my graduation to watch me kick some ass! You also let me go on my first camping trip as a girl scout.

You always gave me a toy even it was small, because I was happy no matter what. And since then, I also give you toys because you always made me feel how happy you were to receive something simple. When I was 10, you bought me a bmx bike and I learned to ride by myself without the trainer wheels. You knew I could do it and you just let me ride even if I never came home on time for dinner.

When I was 12, you brought home a Kamus so I can learn Bahasa while you guys were in Indo. It was actually a prep for me to get ready to move there. I even became your translator in an instant!

When I was 14, you let me play all the sports in school and even bought me all the nice gears. You also let me travel in Asia to compete and just see, experience and learn different cultures all over the world.

When I was 16, I had my first heartbreak, but you were there to make me smile. You even let me go on my first prom night and let me stay out with my friends even if I didn't come home that night.

When I was 18, you still drove me to College, waited for me and picked me up even if I took so long to get out. You knew I was just hanging out with friends and you still waited. You also didn't get mad at me the very first time I took your car out without your permission. You just gave me a license after.

Dad, so many years had passed, and I did change. I became distant and I wasn't as sweet as when I was 6. I took out my personal problems on you and you still forgave me. I couldn't talk to you and we weren't as close anymore. I took you for granted but you were still there...

No matter how far I have gone and have become, you never gave up on me. Even if I don't tell you "I Love You" on your face anymore, I actually do. Even if you get mad at me for being stubborn, I still care. Even if we don't live in the same house anymore, I still think of you...

Dad, I will always be your Unica Hija and forever I will be... Thank you for everything... ❤

I know that many things in life have come and some are now gone. So much has happened, both good times and bad times. I know that I had been the hardest to control, the hardest to understand and the hardest to reach. I admit to all that. We all fall down the hill if we don't look at the path that was meant for us to pass. We roll and tumble. We get bruised and stained, but we all get up and put a smile on our faces. That is what life taught me. It is the pain that teaches our minds and hearts to move forward. It is the sorrow that gives way to a brighter tomorrow. For there is hope in between. There is love around. There is the happiness that we all long for, but most especially, there is someone who guides and understands what we all go through...

Simple & Quick: Trip Journal by iQapps

I found this very convenient app for the iphone called, “Trip Journal” by iQapps.

It’s a simple and quick tool to record your travels that keeps your photos, videos, location and your notes in one site. It requires you to have an internet connection, whether on 3G, Edge or Wifi. I tried it on my phone and the GPS Positioning works really well. If you can’t access your location, you can always do Manual Positioning which is a useful tool when you want to point out your exact location.

One neat thing also is that it tracks your routes into “Waypoints” – lines are drawn on the map from your starting point to your final stop. Another cool thing is that you can also add some media files like photos and videos on each waypoint! Neah huh?!

You can share your travels easier through Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, YouTube and Twitter. It’s definitely worth a try if you want a quick way to save your travel moments.

The Phone Call…

As we got into the cab, the look on the driver’s face just gave it all. There was an air of sadness and quietness, and his face…it was blank…

…and so we rolled and passed EDSA….seeing: EDSA’s hustle and bustle with cars, trucks and buses all trying to squeeze in around you, honking and tailgating…but the driver managed to squeeze us out of the tangled mess just in the nick of time…

As we got closer to the U-Turn Slot by Mcdonald’s Quezon Ave., the driver answered his mobile phone and spoke quietly. But of course, we heard what he said…and as he spoke, I was able to put the story together…I felt this huge pain in my chest, and my excitement to go to our destination suddenly faded…my heart was beating so fast…

I wanted to cry as I listened…but then he cried…I could hear him sobbing and his face, as I saw it on the rear-view mirror, was that of a heartbroken old man…

As we passed around the Quezon City Memorial Circle, I noticed him taking some folded money out of the cigarette box, it was just a small amount…I really had to ask him…I just had to because the pain inside me was excruciating. He didn’t have enough money to pay for the bills in the hospital, because he only had a few trips. His two children got into an accident the night before, one survived, the other didn’t make it…
He said, “mahirap talaga kung wala kang pambayad sa ospital…” (it’s really hard if you don’t have money to pay the hospital)

I felt so helpless, because we didn’t have enough money to spare him, so I just prayed to myself that God would help him with his pain and grief…that someone would help him…It’s Christmas Time and we’re all supposed to be happy…I prayed hard for him in those few minutes as tears rolled down my face…

Our trip was P80 in total, we could only spare him a few extra, so we gave him P200. I just patted his shoulder as I was stepping out and told him that everything will be alright…He looked at me, and a tiny smile filled his saddened face…

At least when I got out of the cab, I felt relieved that the little extra was a big difference…
That short trip did strike me in the most deepest sense – it was a little reality check, a reminder of the truths about life…

Soon after that, we were able to buy the car that we've always wanted...

Un Paradis Sur Terre…

An escape to a Tropical Paradise in the South Seas…

Peace…Tranquility…Bliss…This is what you will find in Alegre Beach Resort and Spa, located in the north eastern region of Cebu, in the coastal town of Sogod. The resort is about an hour and half drive from Cebu City, approximately 75 Kilometers from Mactan International Airport.

Upon entering the hugely gated resort, I knew it was going to be a REAL TREAT! Driving along the road with lush tropical gardens everywhere you look, the resort seemed really big. After 5 minutes, we finally got to the Lobby/Reception and was greeted with a huge smile from the bellboy, who helped us unload our bags. A few minutes after checking in, the bellboy took us on a golf cart ride to where the rooms are located. We walked a little bit more upon getting off the cart to get to our room.

Well, all I can say is that it was worth all that travel…

Bluewater in Mactan Island

On a recent trip to Cebu, I was asked to visit a few resorts for a possible wedding location for my cousin who plans to get married next year here in the Philippines. Thanks to a good friend from Cebu, we were able to drive to Mactan Island to check out Maribago Bluewater.

The sun was high up and it was a perfect day to go to the beach. As we entered the Lobby, I was greeted with smiles on everyone’s faces. It’s the kind of welcome that makes you feel invited. A few meters away from the Lobby/Reception Area are 2 Saltwater ponds nestled on tropical landscapes on each side of the walkway. One pond was inhabited by 20 Blacktip Sharks with a few Lapu-Lapus and other small colored reef fish. The other pond was home to other non-aggressive assorted saltwater fish of different colors and shapes. On the other side of both ponds are rows of Deluxe Garden Rooms, which are priced at Php7000 per night for single/double occupancy.

It was really hot, I had to get a drink, a REFRESHING DRINK! We headed to the resort’s Allegro Restaurant and Poolbar. It was packed with guests eating Breakfast Buffet. I ordered a Banana Smoothie and it was REALLY nice and cold. Another plus points for me! A few minutes later, the Events Manager came and gave us a tour around the resort.

I was sick, but now I feel good...

Desde que fue internado en el hospital en Marzo de 2009, me dije que nunca volvere! Nunca me gusto ir a los hospitales. Nunca quise ser tratados alli a todos! El incidente en Marzo pasado 2009 fue la primera vez que se limita cada vez en toda mi vida! Por primera vez con dextrosa y por primera vez de dormir en hospital por mas de 24 horas! Aunque no fue tan malo, yo todavia no quiero volver a regresar...

Tuve una experienca traumatica antes de que yo estaba confinado en la hospital. En la semana del incidente, que estaba teniendo el peor dolor abdominal nunca! Lo que es peor que tener un aborto involuntario!!! Haaaayyy....Dios Mio! El dolor estaba en mi abdomen derecho. Trate de masaje con balsamos hierbas, la aplicacion de la reflexologia en mi propio pie, beber mucho te de hierbas, y rezando por el, pero el dolor solo se calmo por un tiempo. Que lastima! Fue tan doloroso que no tenia mas remedio que tomar comprimidos de Ibuprufeno, que me dije a mantenerse alejados de la medida de lo posible, solo para usarlo cuando el dolor se hace insoportable...Que dolor!!! ;(

Yo no podia soportarlo mas...Tuve que ir a ver a un doctor y asi que fui a la clinica mas cercana. Alli se me hizo tomar varias pruebas, que incluian la sangre, orina y pruebas de embarazo! Los resultados fueron normales y por lo que el medico de cabecera hizo un control fisico por la presion en el abdomen. Ella me dijo que yo pueda tener una "Appendicitis" y que deben limitarse de modo que el cirujano puede venir a mi comprobar al dia siguiente. Ella tambien me dijo que puede necesitar para cortar me abre!!!! Waaaaaahhh!!!! No puedo! No me gusta! Estoy totalmente de panico!!! No quiero ser operado!!! No No No NO...!!!

Les dije que quiero ir a casa y que no creo que tengo un "Appendicitis". No hay antecedentes de "Appendicitis" en mi familia. Queria una segunda opinion! He firmado la renuncia y salio de la clinica. Waaah! Que loca!

Cuando llegue a casa, mis padres ya estaban a punto de irse. Huh?! Al parecer, mientras estaba fuera, que ya llamo a sus conexiones y han programado mi confinamiento en un hospital mas grande y mas profesional. No dude en mi barriga seguia doliendo...llegamos a la "University of the East Medical Hospital y la consulta del Dr. Edgardo Cortez, MD, FPCS, que mis padres han pedido. Era un hombre muy entretenido y divertido, lejos de los que esperaba de "Cirujanos". El dolor se detuvo de repente! Waaah! Gracias!!!

Me dijo que no me preocupara y que el no cree que tenia "Appendicitis" y que no hay necesidad de cualqiuer cirugia...Aunque yo estaba seguro de conseguir a abierto, todavia tenia que limitarse y someterse a una seria de pruebas. Dr. Cortez cree que podria haber un problema con mi sistema reproductivo! Asi, pidio que la Dra. Susan Pelea-Nagtalon, que se especializa en "Embarazo de Alto Riesgo". Busque su ayuda y me obligo a someterse a unas pruebas. Dado que era la primera vez que se limite, yo estaba un poco ansiosa por lo que me va a pasar.... ;(

Tengo una habitacion comoda sin embargo, un metro de distancia de la recepcion de las enfermeras y gran ventana con vistas al estacionamiento trasero por el rio. Fue tal vez la misma ventana en el video de la guardia de saltar del edificio para salvar el medico de conseguir desaparecer con su coche hacia la pared se desplomo en el rio embravecido, durante el evento catastrofico, "Ondoy/Ketsana" pasado mes de Septiembre de 2009.

La primera noche en el hospital era incomodo. Cada 10 minutos, no habria pasantes, enfermeras, y asistentes medicos que llegan a comprobar mi. No me sentia enfermo ya mi abdomen y que dejaron de doler. Luego llego la enfermera que llevaba da dextrosa! Yo vi la aguja, me asuste!!!! Noooooooooo!!

Cerre los ojos y lo agarro fuerte en la cama con mi brazo derecho extendido para la dextrosa. Yo estaba mas asustado wue ella intento en busca de una vena apropiada. Mi muneca estaba demasiado flaca!! Luego aparecio en la aguja y me dolio!!! No llore cuando...jejejeje ;)

De todos modos, para hacer mi cuento, me diagnosticaron "ovarios poliquisticos". Me di cuenta de que es una enfermedad que es inevitable en nuestra generacion de mujeres de hoy. Dra. Nagtalon dijo que no me preocupe, porque puede ser curado. Acabo de tener que tomar algunos medicamentos. Pero, por supuesto, no volver nunca mas justo despues de que fue dado de alta de hospital.

Desde el incidente, empece a beber "Green Barley" todas las mananas cuando me despierto. Ha sido para mi un habito de beber por lo menos 40ml de la misma antes de que yo me cepillo los dientes. Beber me ha ayudado mucho! Voy a escribir de nuevo sobre ella. Por ahora, puedo decir que yo estaba enfermo, pero realmente, me siento mucho mejor!!! ;)

Que experiencia! Pero me alegro de que estoy bien ahora... ;)

It took me a while to get myself to write. So much had happened that it blew me away. Although I can't say I'm actually not craving to tell another story, because I really am. The events that took place meant a great deal to all of us. These events will never be forgotten.

It's 2010 already. The New Year had gone by and ever since that day, I know that there's so much coming ahead, more than what came in 2009. What did happen in 2009?

So much more happened, that if I listed them all, I'd fill up a week's worth of blog posts! One way or another, how great and how puny an event, they were all meant to happen. Our planet is telling us that we have to be aware of the natural phenomenons and that they are bound to happen as it did before. History does repeat itself, even if you don't believe it. It is our right to know what will happen to our future, whether we will still be alive in 10 years time or not. What is important, is for us to understand the phenomenon, accept it and learn to live with it. I am pretty sure there are more events that took place all over the world back in 2009, but I am also sure by this time, we would be able to develop proper means of survival, in consideration of all aspects of life. People are crying and craving for "Change". Let us give us all this chance to make life worth living, for the good of our future generations.

A Cry For Yellow

I woke up at 4:20pm earlier and I was a still a bit buzzed. Today is the 1st of August 2009. Went to get a cup of hot Milo for my first drink, then turned on the TV. It was just then that I realized that Mrs. Cory Aquino, the Mother President, had already passed away earlier today. Right now, the TV Stations here in the Philippines are showing their own tributes to Mrs. Cory, and as I watch and continue writing this post, I started crying, I began feeling pain. First it was just a tear, then I started feeling pain in my heart that it was beating so fast. Many tears fell down continuously and I couldn't help it. I felt so much pain. I felt many people hurting from this passing away. It was then, I realized, I had to write.

As I watch the local tributes on TV, flipping from channel to channel, even on CNN and BBC, I could feel the pain. I guess I was called again by the higher beings to do something too. So this is my tribute to Mrs. Cory Aquino, The President, Tita Cory, The Symbol of Peace and The Mother to her family and to the whole Filipino Nation.

Known as Tita Cory in the Philippines and almost all over the world. She was born as Corazon Cojuangco, 4th Child of the family, a Valedictorian at St. Scholastica, studied abroad and started into politics in her province, Tarlac. Tita Cory was a very wise and simple lady who was sincere up to her final moments, still crying for peace and reminding us all that we still have a chance to save our nation. She has become a real inspiration of people power all over the whole world.

For me, I strongly believe that she is the modern lady hero of our time right now, and so I started crying again. I could it feel more, with the weather outside, strong winds, hard rain, the gray skies, it was surely a mourning day today.

I am currently searching on the web on other tributes for Mrs. Cory Aquino, and I am really surprised to see that there are many others! Some have already uploaded their own video tributes, wrote in their blogsites, news pages and many others. This I thought was a good thing. People are truly sincere with their feelings. Here is one video I thought was worth watching and remembering. This was shown on TV last Wednesday, July 8, 2009, on the show, Probe Profiles.

Mrs. Cory Aquino was a strong woman of determination and pure kindness. She is the Epitome of a Real Mother, who truly cares for those who needs care and attention. A real mother who knew what was best. A real mother who was never afraid to fight for what was right and just. A real mother who cried, smiled, laughed, and touched the hearts of many. A real mother who will be remembered throughout the history, not only in the Philippines, but across the globe.

May you Rest In Peace Tita Cory...I wish that someone like you would come up to save our nation again, but I remembered, YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY...

Yesterday I was like a singing bird, soaring freely here and there in the fields. Today I am a SLAVE to fickle Wealth, society rules and city customs, purchased friends, pleasing the people by conforming to the strange and narrow LAWS of men. I was born to be free and enjoy the bounty of life, but I find myself like a beast of burden so heavily laden with gold that his back is breaking. Yesterday I was carefree, sharing with the shepherds all the joys of life; eating, playing, working, singing, and dancing together to the music of the heart's TRUTH. Today I find myself among the people like a frightened lamb among the pack of wolves. As I walk in the roads, they gaze at me with hateful eyes and point at me with scorn and jealousy, and as I steal through the park, I see frowning faces all about me. I have too many secrets. For all these years I've been a speaker for the dead, uncovering SECRETS and helping people to live in the light of truth. Now I no longer tell anyone half of what I know, because if I told the whole truth there would be fear, hatred, brutality, murder, war. The secrets of this earth are not for all men to see, but ONLY for those who will seek them.

Je souhaite que...

Un jour viendra ou je serai en mesure de voler librement partout ou le vent me prend, a un bel endroit eloigne loin des yeux mechants et des abeilles ragots. A cet endroit, je vais creer mon sanctuaire de paix, ou il y'a seulement l'amour et de bonheur, ou toutes les creatures, des lezards aux lions, des crapauds aux baleines, des oiseaux aux dragons, tous sont libres, mais tous vivre en harmonie. Cette terre est rempli de toutes choses magic, ou les fees voler autour des jardins luxuriants que les elfes prendre soin de, et les centaures et wildebeasts garder la terre surs...

Je prends soin de ces creatures, en retour, ils m'en fournir l'amour et de compassion. L'amour et de compassion que j'attends a partir de la les etres humains qui vivent "notre terre". Je voudrais bien savoir pourquoi les gens ne peuvent pas vivre en harmonie avec les autres gens. Vie doit etre vraiment difficile de vivre comme vous ne pouvez pas vivre en paix et juste aide mutuellement au lieu de simplement rendre plus difficile...

Just A Little Smile

Here's a story I found as I was browsing. Somehow I felt this story should be shared to everyone to remind them of the simple things in life. With our ever-growing population, things become more complicated. People become too busy and they forget about the simplest things that make them happy. Sometimes they also miss a lot of chances to make things right, only because they become too preoccupied with the pleasures of life that blinds them.

JUST A LITTLE SMILE

Mark was walking home from school one day when he noticed the boy ahead of him had tripped and dropped all of the books he was carrying, along with two sweaters, a baseball bat, a glove and a small tape recorder. Mark knelt down and helped the boy pick up the scattered articles. Since they were going the same way, he helped to carry part of the burden. As they walked Mark discovered the boy's name was Bill, that he loved video games, baseball and history, and that he was having lots of trouble with his other subjects and that he had just broken up with his girlfriend.

They arrived at Bill's home first and Mark was invited in for a Coke and to watch some television. The afternoon passed pleasantly with a few laughs and some shared small talk, then Mark went home. They continued to see each other around school, had lunch together once or twice, then both graduated from junior high school. They ended up in the same high school where they had brief contacts over the years. Finally the long awaited senior year came and three weeks before graduation, Bill asked Mark if they could talk.

Bill reminded him of the day years ago when they had first met. "Did you ever wonder why I was carrying so many things home that day?" asked Bill.

"You see, I cleaned out my locker because I didn't want to leave a mess for anyone else. I had stored away some of my mother's sleeping pills and I was going home to commit suicide. But after we spent some time together talking and laughing, I realized that if I had killed myself, I would have missed that time and so many others that might follow. So you see, Mark, when you picked up those books that day, you did a lot more. You saved my life."

There are many people in this world that needs help. Sometimes you don't know you've already helped someone, but your good deeds will have it's reward one way or another. Suicide is one of the most difficult things in life that needs special attention. People who have committed suicide will never be understood. The letters and remembrances don't mean so much when you're gone. It is very important for us and the future generation to understand that committing suicide is not the best way to solve any problem. It is actually the beginning of suffering.

People just need to learn how to really care for other people and everything around them. Of course, learning to care in the most sincere way. If you can touch someone's life today, do so. The days are passing by really quickly. The next thing you know, it might just be too late.

What is Magic?

People of all civilizations, since the early times of man, have placed their faith in the use of various forms of magical practices. The difference might be seen in the methods, but clearly it is used worldwide up to now.

Magic, as Aleister Crowley defines, is the art of science of causing change to occur in conformity with will. In other words, it is caused by an emotion. Magic was developed into two forms based on emotion:

1) Having a motivation to benefit mankind (White Magic)
2) Having a motivation to injure mankind (Black Magic)

Sadly, Magic has been misunderstood ever since. In the olden days, people who engaged in magical practices, whether White or Black, was called a "Witch" and their practice called, "Witchcraft". Actually, as Magic is defined, anyone may learn and use magic anytime they please and may not call themselves as witches. Witches are not necessarily described as malevolant magicians, but they are also cunning folks, or the wiser beings.

Over the years, Magic has evolved into many different forms. Some branching out to a new age form and some still clinging to the old age practices. Magic is actually everywhere, seen commonly in our very own religions. There is only one thing that binds Magic to the earth users. This is called the Universal Cosmic Law. It is the law that exists by virtue which forms its framework and holds it together.

I believe that Magic is anything created from a fusion of energies and emotions to control and predict the events of the natural world. Magic is developed through science and religion. During the Renaissance, magic was everywhere, it even became an art form, artes liberales and there were 7 Magical Arts that many had dwelt on.

7 artes magicae:

1) Geomancy - refers to using earth's natural elements to produce a shape to be interpreted. (Feng Shui)
2) Chiromancy - also know as pseudoscience, refers to characterizing and predicting future events through lines on the palm. (Palmistry)
3) Pyromancy - refers to using fire as a source of energy to control.
4) Aeromancy - refers to using observations of the atmospheric and weather phenomena to predict and characterize events.
5) Scapulamancy - refers to using an animal's shoulder blade burned to produce cracks to predict the future events.
6) Hydromancy - refers to using water as the source of energy and dropping a natural object onto water to create and predict outcomes.
7) Necromancy - refers to using spirits and souls of the dead to seek for help.

If you notice, these arts are basically produced with the help of nature and its natural elements, only controlled by human. For me, Magic is anything that happens out of the ordinary. Even a simple thing could be of Magic. Here's a story I'd like to share that's also Magic!

There was this Hindu who saw a scorpion floundering around in the water. He decided to save it by stretching out his finger, but the scorpion stung him. The man still tried to get the scorpion out of the water, but the scorpion stung him again.

A man nearby told him to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging him.

But the Hindu said: "It is the nature of the scorpion to sting. It is my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it is the nature of the scorpion to sting?"

Don't give up loving.
Don't give up your goodness.
Even if people around you sting.

4 Noble Truths

LIFE MEANS SUFFERING.
To live means to suffer, because the human nature is not perfect and neither is the world we live in. During our lifetime, we inevitably have to endure physical suffering such as pain, sickness, injury, tiredness, old age, and eventually death; and we have to endure psychological suffering like sadness, fear, frustration, disappointment, and depression. Although there are different degrees of suffering and there are also positive experiences in life that we perceive as the opposite of suffering, such as ease, comfort and happiness, life in its totality is imperfect and incomplete, because our world is subject to impermanence. This means we are never able to keep permanently what we strive for, and just as happy moments pass by, we ourselves and our loved ones will pass away one day, too.

THE ORIGIN OF SUFFERING IS ATTACHMENT.
The origin of suffering is attachment to transient things and the ignorance thereof. Transient things do not only include the physical objects that surround us, but also ideas, and -in a greater sense- all objects of our perception. Ignorance is the lack of understanding of how our mind is attached to impermanent things. The reasons for suffering are desire, passion, ardour, pursuit of wealth and prestige, striving for fame and popularity, or in short: craving and clinging. Because the objects of our attachment are transient, their loss is inevitable, thus suffering will necessarily follow. Objects of attachment also include the idea of a "self" which is a delusion, because there is no abiding self. What we call "self" is just an imagined entity, and we are merely a part of the ceaseless becoming of the universe.

THE CESSATION OF SUFFERING IS ATTAINABLE.
The cessation of suffering can be attained through Nirodha. Nirodha means the unmaking of sensual craving and conceptual attachment. The third noble truth expresses the idea that suffering can be ended by attaining dispassion. Nirodha extinguishes all forms of clinging and attachment. This means that suffering can be overcome through human activity, simply by removing the cause of suffering. Attaining and perfecting dispassion is a process of many levels that ultimately results in the state of Nirvana. Nirvana means freedom from all worries, troubles, complexes, fabrications and ideas. Nirvana is not comprehensible for those who have not attained it.

THE PATH TO THE CESSATION OF SUFFERING.
There is a path to the end of suffering - a gradual path of self-improvement. It is the middle way between the two extremes of excessive self-indulgence (hedonism) and excessive self-mortification (asceticism); and it leads to the end of the cycle of rebirth. The latter quality discerns it from other paths which are merely "wandering on the wheel of becoming", because these do not have a final object. The path to the end of suffering can extend over many lifetimes, throughout which every individual rebirth is subject to karmic conditioning. Craving, ignorance, delusions, and its effects will disappear gradually, as progress is made on the path.
