Fairest of All Creation!

What an awesome task we have before us to be Godly Women, to lead women to God and to be His representation here in this earth. You know there's a lot of controversy about women in the ministry, but as with all lies that's straight from the pit of Hades. We have to know who we are in order to be effective in this walk.

We are remarkable in our femininity, and we need to accept it, cultivate it and excel in it. What a fabulous way to thank our Father. There's no need to feel inferior to man or one another. It was only after God presented woman did He proclaim that His creation was "very good" Genesis 1:31. As a woman of God delight yourself in His perfect design for your life. He created you as a woman, the "fairest creation of all."

Is Sharing God's Love Terrorism?

One local newspaper carried a story about an organized, community-wide, door- to-door effort by Southern Baptists to take the good news of Jesus' gift of salvation to as many people as possible. In response to the news, one writer to the newspaper stated:

"This is religious tyranny and terrorism at its worst. I fear these people every bit as much as I would fear Osama bin Laden."

What is this world coming to?

Amazed...

I'm always amazed at how God shows up for us when we need Him. Today He proved me right again...He meets us right in the midst of our need and I am most grateful. I had to share because, I found myself AMAZED that He is ever mindful of not just me, but all of us.

I was sitting at the table asking Him to make a way, and He did just that. He opened so many doors for me within these last two days, that I wanted to tell you about His goodness! He wants to do it for you too.

Thank you Lord.

Fellowship...

The power of agreement is crucial, to forward progress, for the Bible states how can two walk together, lest they agree...

I want to ask you a question why is it that we as women can't seem to agree? My heart is sadden by this issue within the body. When we support one another God is not only in the mist of us, but He is well please with our efforts.

Can I share my weekend with you?

We had a friend to come over and fellowship with us, now mind you my husband, Apostle Corey and son were the only gentlemen in our midst as we began to be real with one another, we began to share thoughts and we had an awesome time. Throughout the time spent we heard many thoughts that could otherwise be detrimental, but after a session of prayer we realized that we all became free to fellowship with one another in freedom and liberty.

God showed up in our prayer time, and deliverance was available...what an awesome God we serve. He is so mindful of us...

What about you? Are you available to Jesus?

Found: God's Will

A great short read for individuals with the desire to know God's Will... I found it quite interesting and informative, geared more toward a younger generation, but directional. I'd suggest this book to college students interested in making difference on their campuses.

We as believers have to get better understanding if in fact we are to make a difference... Amen. This book by John MacArthur, sheds light on a few misconceptions and allows readers to gain understanding to purpose. Consisting of 6 principles that will make you want to jump and shout when you read them.

John MacArthur is Pastor of Grace Community, and heard daily on Grace to You, a daily syndicated radio broadcast.

An attitude adjustment....

It's been said time and time again, "Attitude is everything" - 'tis true, 'tis true. Our thoughts affect our actions. Our actions definitely invite reactions - positive or negative. According to God, we get to choose life or death, blessings or curses, everyday. Our actions reveal where we really live in our hearts. Therefore, we need to deal with the root of our heart condition in order to implement positive change and get the results we want in every area of our lives.

The Primary Christian Virtue...

In today's culture women long for a connection with others. Women are often desperately lonely. People move more frequently than they did a generation ago, and it takes a long time to rebuild satisfying friendships after a move. Women who stay at home often feel isolated. Their families may live far away, and neighbors don't get to know one another as they once did.

Those who work outside the home may have acquaintances at work, but these relationships are not often deep, abiding friendships. Since these women frequently spend their evenings catching up on household chores, they don't have much time to build friendships.

However, the church is to be built on relationships and community. The Bible says more than once that we are the body of Christ - we are all connected. We are family. In fact, the Bible goes so far as to say that we belong to one another. I am my sister's keeper....Unfortunately, this kind of close bond is not very many women's experience at church.

Consider this...

How many people come to church, attend the worship service, and then leave the church building without ever speaking to anyone, other than to say "good morning" to the greeter at the door? People can (and do!) attend a church for decades without ever being invited into true community. This should not be!

Think what our churches would be if people were truly loved and cared for from the moment they entered the door. How would our churches be different if people welcomed one another into their lives and their homes? How would the community react if Christians really were known by their love for another?

As the Women's Ministry of PCMI comes to fruition it is my sincere desire to see it helping women build deep, lasting ties with other women in the church all while discovering a sense of belonging in the Body of Christ as well as the physical church. Women must learn to support and draw from one another. We must learn to bear one another's burdens and to love one another with Christ's love.

The Women's Ministry exist to help every women discover how we are mysteriously and wonderfully interconnected and interdependent. Providing a foundation for these lessons means developing opportunities for women to be with one another for no other reason than to learn how to become more like Christ, fellowship, laugh and make friends.

Love is the primary Christian virtue; it's to be our primary activity.

In His hands.... the universe. In His heart you and I.

G.E.M.S. (God's Excellence Manifested in Sisters) is a life-changing women's group purposed to minister to the needs of women and transcends across cultural and denominational boundaries . Our meetings are for women of every generation seeking to explore the tug on her heart to reach out to the world for Jesus.

G.E.M.S. ministry encourages and equips women who are called by God to share our mission to bring God’s peace, perspective and purpose to today’s busy woman. Sharing God’s truth with love is not only a holy calling but a remarkable responsibility. We believe by equipping women to become more effective at sharing the Word of God, we multiply our efforts to reach a hurting world with the life-transforming hope of Jesus.
