WhO Said We Have To Be PERFECT?

As humans as we are, are we PERFECT?

Some of us may try more, some of us, less; some don't worry too much about being perfect.

In the end, it probably isn't that much about being “PERFECT” but being HUMAN, being a UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL! An individual, part of this big cosmic net we all belong to in our own individuality, but at the same time being all INTERCONNECTED.

We are individuals with GOOD and BAD features, with a superb intellect and/or health, with illnesses and disorders and so on. But it is right there where and what the challenge of life is: If we have weaknesses and we are aware of them, then let us try to overcome them; if we can't, let us try to live with them the best way as possible, never falling into self-pity, that hole is too deep and too dark, and leads us and the ones around us, nowhere.

Instead, why don’t we try to work on ourselves? How? Why not try “scanning” us as objective as possible, to see where and why we are failing, what we may and can improve. I’m sure we can. I don’t subscribe to the saying that –particularly after a certain age– there is no way that a human being is able to CHANGE.

We are always moving between good and bad, happiness and sadness, good and bad temper, mood swings. We have to accept this as part of our own individuality. Once we accept it, we will be more able and willing to correct and change for better, whatever we want and can. So don’t judge others by your own thoughts. They are living a different life than you are. What might be good for one person may be bad for another. What might be bad for one person might change another person's life. Allow people to make their own mistakes & decisions, because we learn and grow with each decision and/or mistake that we make...but again, what might be a mistake for you may be a blessing for someone else

We don't have to be perfect; we just have to be us, because there is no such thing as a perfect person or life. But we can always try to grow and improve through our own paths of life. We all have something that another can learn from. We should always see “the glass half full, not half empty”. And last but not least, never do to do others what we wouldn't want others to do to us.

Let us live for today, love for tomorrow and give one another a chance before giving up!

Indeed, love and happiness is the one option that is always open to us. Love and happiness awakens and enhances all of our senses. Love makes us feel overwhelmed with joy and happiness. Speak kind words and you will hear kind echoes. The measure of our poverty or of our wealth is the love and happiness we give to others. Appreciation makes people feel more important than almost anything else in the world. When there is love in the heart, it just naturally spread to others. So spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your own house. Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor...Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting...

I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy and loved. From the very core of our being, we desire contentment. In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the strength to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the principal source of success in life. Since we are not solely material creatures, it is a mistake to place all our hopes for happiness on external development alone. The key is to develop inner peace

Love and happiness has to spring spontaneously from within. And it is no way amenable to any form of inner or outer force. Love and coercion can never go together; but though love cannot be forced on anyone, it can be awakened in people through love itself. Love is essentially self-communicative; those who do not have it catch it from those who have it. True love is unconquerable and irresistible, and it goes on gathering power and spreading itself, until eventually it transforms everyone whom it touches.

So I urge you to find a quiet place and listen. It should be very quiet. The only sound you should hear is your heart beating. Listen. Peer deep down inside your heart. Do you see someone that holds a special place in your heart? Maybe they have always been there when you needed them; maybe they offered words of encouragement; taught you a lesson; comforted you when you were sick; praised you on your accomplishments. Make this their lucky day. You have the POWER to spread happiness today. A quick note or a kind word is all it takes to bring a smile and lasting memory to someone very special.

Always remember that the world needs more warm and loving hearts. And a kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everyone around brighten into smiles. May God bring back to you all the happiness you've given to others I wish everyone days with Joy

However, the majority of us lead quiet and unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor. But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. People who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give.

You may have touch people and know it. You may have touch people and never know it. Either way, no matter what your life feels like to you right now, you have something to give. It is in the giving to one another that each one of our lives becomes meaningful.

Everyone has a reason for being here and a season for making their highest, greatest most auspicious contribution. Too often we underestimate the power of a simple touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life around. But most often, the effects of your kindness are not always seen immediately, sometimes it takes years until your kindness will pay off, and is returned to you. And sometimes you never see the fruits of your labors, BUT KNOW THAT THEY ARE THERE, DEEP INSIDE OF THE SOUL OF THE ONE YOU TOUCHED....

the right time to say "I LOVE YOU"

The climax of just about every LOVE story is that key moment when the object of AFFECTION looks longingly into the other's eyes; their HEART pounds so fast that it sends paralyzing jolts of EUPHORIA throughout the body, and then they say those three little magic words… I LOVE YOU! This scenario is maybe what we see in the movies, but it is also how we IMAGINE it happening in REAL life. And quite frankly, how it really should be. Anything else is nothing short of a DISAPPOINTMENT. So, how can you ensure that your first “I LOVE YOU” will play out like the SCENE you've always envisioned? Read on please.

One of the most important things to know about saying I LOVE YOU is that, from the receiver's point of view, having someone tell you that they LOVE you when the FEELINGS aren't reciprocated is a HORRIBLE feeling. All of a sudden, feelings of FEAR and a sense of OBLIGATION emerge. With this in mind, take the following advice to heart if you are the one saying the first, “I LOVE YOU.”

The first is that, quite commonly, men have a difficult time expressing the emotions they feel most deeply. Another reason is the words "I love you" might be interpreted as a marriage proposal. So that nothing gets lost in the translation, men with this concern will wait for the time in which they can back up their words with a lifetime commitment....

The truth is, most people hear those words when you're telling them that you LOVE them. It’s what they wanna hear, so they do. Hearing those words when you don’t RECIPROCATE the feeling SUCKS! If you aren’t sure that what you're feeling is MUTUAL or IMMUTABLE, WAIT!!! It’s worth it! Imagine yourself MARRYING this person and then, ten years down the road, you’re reminiscing. “OH HONEY, do you remember the first time I said ‘I LOVE YOU’?” How do you want that MEMORY to be? I think some people treat those three all-important magic words so CASUALLY, that they tend to FORGET soon after, but there are some who will forever keep the MEMORY because they prevented prematurely saying, “I LOVE YOU!”

JEALOUSY IN ROMANCE

Jealousy or envy is a curse to human beings! The wise, the rich or even the powerful; no one has ever escaped from feeling the pangs of jealousy or envy.

There are moments in everyone's life where he/she feels a twinge of jealousy which simply cannot be prevented. However, when this jealousy turns into an obsession or pessimism, it can lead to utter Schadenfreude which is considered immoral.

Jealousy in romance is like salt in food. A little can enhance the savor, but too much can spoil the pleasure and, under certain circumstances, can be life-threatening.

In jealousy, there is more of SELF-LOVE than LOVE. A JEALOUS lover isn’t looking out for his or her partner’s WELFARE, only for his or her OWN. This reveals one’s INSECURITY within the relationship. When you’re JEALOUS, you actually display a lack of TRUST in your partner.

Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy - in fact, they are almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other.

I believe a loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself - to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedom and can never grow in a jealous heart.

FEAR FACTOR

Everyone has some sort of fear in life. It may be brought about by any one or more of the following reasons:

By our own negative mindset, (but are you going to let fear take over your life?)
By the influence of other people,
By a sad past incident,

But the fear of failure is the fear of failing yourself. You can never let yourself down but only can you keep pushing yourself up, up to higher levels of achievements. Never live your life to please others but live for self-satisfaction of self-made accomplishments. Don't fear the fear of failing, but rather fear not trying to have the opportunity to fail. Go ahead fail once, twice, trust soon you will get it right!

You must take the necessary steps to overcome your fear. It's all in the mind.

Do you want to be a doctor but you are afraid that your intellect can't handle the pressure or you are worried about financial insecurity? Do you envy other people when you see them enjoying wild rides, and you are just stuck in a corner because you are too terrified to give it a try?

On a quest to start a new life, you will face a lot of challenges and uphill battles that will try to bring you down. Fears will arise that will make you stumble and the only way to stop them is to face them! As a friend, I would like you to know that life will knock us down but we can choose to get back up. Always remember to be strong. Root that in your heart. My suggestion is to face your fear head-on. If you are really determined to achieve your deepest desires and aspirations, a powerful force will enable you to reach them amidst every obstacle that comes in the way. Someone or something will always be there to help you attain your goals. Just have faith in your abilities. Your WILL POWER has the utmost capacity to accomplish anything with the proper mindset.

You could also use VISUALIZATION METHOD to help you in overpowering any kind of fear. Are you afraid of heights? Then imagine yourself being on top of a mountain, overseeing the magnificent sights. Enjoy and feel the moment. Take away all worries and anxieties. Inhabit your own soul and your own destiny. Where your fears lie and there is no retreat where you should be in your moments of greatness. You will find yourself, your true being on that edge, the edge of the abyss and when you jump in you will find that you will either fly or fall into a pool of ecstasy. Either of these outcomes is an infinitely superior way to live or to die for that matter.

This applies to whatever thing that triggers your fear factor. Just imagine being able to defeat it, then confront it with the definite belief that you have the will power and capacity to do everything you want if you just put your mind to it.

Control your fear before it controls you. It implies that with the proper mindset, determination, and will power, you can conquer your fear!

THE WORLD AS I SEE IT!!!

How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn and we pass through this world but once, for what purpose we may not even know, though sometimes we think we sense it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exist for other people - first of all, for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own HAPPINESS is wholly DEPENDENT, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose DESTINATIONS we're bound by the ties of SYMPATHY.

Indeed, we humans are SOCIAL beings. We come into the world as the result of others' ACTIONS. We SURVIVE here by direct or indirect DEPENDENCE on others. Whether we like it or not, there is hardly a moment of our lives when we do not BENEFIT from others' actions or inactions. For this reason it is hardly surprising that most of our happiness arises in the context of our RELATIONSHIPS with others.

We're all pieces of the same ever-changing puzzle; some connected for mere seconds, some connected for life, some connected through knowledge, some through belief, some connected through wisdom, some through Love, and some of us connected with no explanation at all. Yet, as spiritual beings having a human experience, we're all here for the sensations this reality or illusion has to offer. The best anyone can hope for is the right to be able to Live, Learn, Love then Leave an indelible mark.

It is for this reason that every day when I wake up, I ask myself, I've only but one life and it soon will be gone. What will remain of the things that I've done? Will I be remembered as someone who cared? Someone who sympathized? Someone who shared? Will the things that I did while on earth be worthwhile? Have I lightened a load? Gone the second mile?

Did I put off my ambitions on hold to help someone else in reaching their goal? Did I spend time counting the seconds or did I make every second count?

Indeed, if I can say YES to these things, and more, then I'll not be ashamed when I reach Heaven's shore. I will hold my head high, when I'm called by my Lord to stand before God to receive my reward.

A hundred times each day, we must remind ourselves that our inner and outer life is based on the labors of other men, living and dead and that we must exert ourselves in order to give in the same measure as we’ve received and still receiving.

We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection. Indeed when we begin from the recognition that all beings cherish happiness and do not want suffering. It then becomes both MORALLY wrong and PRAGMATICALLY unwise to pursue only one's own happiness oblivious to the FEELINGS and ASPIRATIONS of all others who surround us as members of the same HUMAN FAMILY. The wiser course is to think of others when pursuing our own HAPPINESS!!

SOME BASIC THINGS MEN WANT FROM THEIR WOMEN

We often hear or read about what women want, what women want to hear or the dozens of other variations of how to please or appease a women's needs. But what about men? We rarely read about what men want to hear from women. Women often question men's EMOTIONAL needs and frequently reduce the ESSENCE of men to having one thing on their minds, all the time! Evolutionary psychology has proven otherwise.

Men have emotional needs too, albeit not as much as women. Before we consider what your man would like to hear from you, let's first consider the most vital key to proper COMMUNICATION; effective listening. Although we're discussing what your man wants to hear from you, we also want to ensure that when your man does communicate - even though it may be on rare occasions - that you're able to detect what he truly WANTS to hear from you. As the saying goes, God gave all of us two ears and a single mouth so that we may hear twice as much as we speak! Effective listening will enable you to pick up on those warning signs that his emotional needs are not being met.
Women, you often ask your men to be more in touch with their emotional side, so here we go! Here are five things your man wants to hear from you!

"I'll SUPPORT YOU IN ANY ENDEAVOR YOU CHOOSE."
We've all heard the saying: Behind every good man, there's an even greater woman. Well, we're not insisting you stay behind your man, but as the song goes, "Stand by your Man," that's all we ask. Support us in what we set out to accomplish and you'll be amazed at what we can do when a woman we love dearly accepts and encourages us in every which way. This segue ways into the next thing we'd love to hear from a woman.

"I ACCEPT YOU AND ALL THAT YOU ARE... and I do mean all!"
Acceptance from a loved one outside of our immediate family, for many of us, is the essence of a romantic linkage, and yet many relationships fail for this very reason, due to couples not accepting each other in every shape or form. Don't try and change your man. Accept him for who he is, or move onto someone more compatible. Thinking of him as a pet-project to place your passion into molding him will only drive him away, whether it's emotionally (likely to occur first) or physically.

"WE ARE A TEAM, BABY!"
A romantic connection, much like any other relationship, should be built upon the foundations of solid communications, mutual missions and a shared vision. It's a tough world out there, and yet it only seems to get increasingly tougher. Just because we're men doesn't mean every ounce of burden should be placed upon us, even though at times we insist it! Sometimes, we simply want to hear you say things that elicit an intangible bond, which if shaped properly, is unbreakable.

"YOU ARE HOT (and I mean it)!"
Let's face it - everyone - men and women love to get checked out, and getting checked out and being reassured that not only have you been checked out but the beholder endorses you with a resounding stamp of approval, feels great! In fact, it's a feeling unlike many others… and when a random, spontaneous statement such as, "Babe, you look hot today," is often much better than the ubiquitous, "I love you," or the heaven forbid humdrum line of, "You look good."

I LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT
Hearing the words "I love you" from the (special some) one you love has become expected. It's common and over-usage has, in some contexts, made it a loaded phrase. Do all who use the phrase truly know its implications? Or have our standards of love lessened in these harrowing global times? Society projects many roles men must follow and fit into, or at least are implied. We're forced to make grand attempts and take major risks. We feel the need to do all these things, and somewhere in the back of our minds, is the possibility of failure. Most men - scratch that - anyone would want to hear, from their loved ones, that they will be loved no matter what the outcome of any given situation is. Even if they have failed. This is the hallmark of unconditional love... the truest and arguably the only form of love.
From a woman's perspective within the context of her current relationship, many of these may be tough to say genuinely, and yet the thought of saying them may very well be a test to determine whether your current relationship is as significant as you thought.
