This is a song i really love. it comes from a very unknown band called Spinnerette. i love the vocals in this track and in fact the whole album. My brother introduced me into the band and im glad to introduce other people to it too. if you like this song i would recommend you also look up the song Baptised by fire. this song was released as an EP in late 2008 but then again released in the album Spinnerette also.

right in my eyes this song is an absolute classic rock/ metal song. definitely worth a listen. i remember hearing this song for the first time and at first being slightly put off by it, what was wrong with me? well i have come to correct my ignorant ways and feel that everyone should look this song up. I remember having a lot of fun with this song, setting it as my mates ringtone, and in the middle of an assembly phoning him. the look of horror on everyone's face in the room was well worth the detention i received for it.

the songs comes from the ironically named Hand of Blood album which was the 2nd EP which was released on 22 august 2005

Alexisonfire - Boiled Frogs

i first heard about this band a few years ago, from the moment i heard Alexisonfire i immediately loved them. they have 4 albums, they had started a 5th but the band decided to split on 5th august 2011 and so was never finished. even though it had been described by the band members as being "so heavy it's going to make Dog's Blood look like a ska record".

anyone going to reading 2012 this year?

2012-02-22T12:27:00.000Z

right so i went to the Reading Festival last year in 2011 which was one of the best essentially 5 days of my life. i highly recommend any music for to just go, and even if you don't enjoy music go any ways. I remember arriving on the Thursday morning/afternoon i remember setting up the tent and already starting the atrocities to my liver. the three days of music are filled with loud noise people jumping around and general hilarity. ultimately it is time for people to let out there true self and just relax rather than be cooped up inside in the boring mundane life people usually lead. then on the Sunday night everything goes mental, a huge crowd of people storm all the camp-sites and just have a Laugh, and then on the Monday morning, the whole place vanishes. I remember seeing these pop up tents literally flying in the sky as if they where Kites.

But yeah who's looking forward to reading 2012?

Too Many CD's

2012-02-22T11:37:00.001Z

so yeah i am currently in the process of getting a lot of new music. im trawling through not only my own CD collection. but also my mums and dad's CD collection, my friends CD collection currently i have ridiculous amounts of CD's to go through. i also am subscribed to the BIRP playlist (Best Indie Rock Playlist) so thats where i get all my music from =D.

i may also instead of doing single songs, might start doing complete bands as well.

Aesop Rock - None shall Pass

this song by Aesop rock is quite a interesting song to say the least. although not what i usually listen to in my whole music libary it still is a very good song none the less. definitely worth a listen to see if you like it.

the Guy behind Aesop rock in my eyes is a living legend. he emerged in the late 1990's and early 2000's and was part of a new underground, alternative movement for hip hop music. this song comes from his 5th album None shall pass released in 2007.

definitely go look up this song.

hey,

my name is Seb Padgett. i am an 18 year old student in the UK. i am currently doing my A levels. I am setting up this Blog as basically a music review Blog but there will be other things on here from time to time. i will try to post links to the songs im talking about. feel free to give me requests for songs that you want me to review and il give it a listen. ultimately all i want to do is spread music knowledge around the globe and i will try and correct the atrociousness of the current music industry.
