/>

So now, every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 12:00nn, I am at MIPSS Teaching Students the Art of Taekwondo, and at 2:00pm until 5:00pm, I Teach and Assist at Flex Gym, and at every Wednesday and Fridays, I teach at St. Joseph’s Academy if I Have some time available.

From the first class of Taekwondo and every classes that follow afterwards, we practice the Discipline of treating one another and ourselves with respect. We carry out this practice by bowing to one another. The instructor bows to the students, and the students bow to the instructor. And before a sparring match, the students bow to each other.

With Korean Words such as Chariot, Kyung-re, Junbi, and other numerous words are used by Teachers / Instructors to guide and command the students on what to do on Taekwondo and guide the students unto becoming something much larger than themselves and help them grow and develop their Inner skills, Self Defense, Discipline, and Confidence.

Teaching Self-Defense to students took me by the arm as I aim to teach the students the proper kicks, blocks, defenses and so on.

Teaching Discipline to students can be difficult, especially at the younger sides of the students as they could be wild at times, but the older ones are much more easier to handle as they have basic knowledge of Discipline.

And Teaching Confidence to students can be fun at times as you encourage the students to give out their absolute best in themselves, and cheering them on like a parent would do on their child.

There can be times as well where i feel pressured and experience difficulties, like the times where you expect yourself to teach the students the best you can to not let the parents down and disappoint them with my teachings.

All in all, the teaching process can be long and hard, and with this Advocacy, I have realized that being a teacher takes a lot of effort and love to give out the lessons that the students will need to further enhance their self-growth, and that teaching others can also teach you a lot as well.

This has been a great journey, I think I will still be continuing to teach Taekwondo to students in need.
And it is all thanks to Flex Gym for helping me achieve this Advocacy.

Link to Flex Gym Taekwondo:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2272610909441018

Everard Riley I.
