MINI HAUL: New Wet n Wild ColorIcon Single Eyeshadows

Hey beauties,

Wet n Wild has introduced some new Coloricon single eyeshadows and guess you found them in her local Walgreens? Me!!! I actually love the new colors and from my previous Mini Haul post about the other new Wet n Wild cosmetics being introduced this month, you all can tell that I am a big fan of this drugstore brand.

Wet n Wild is a fantastic drugstore brand, I have many FOTD's and EOTD featuring the use of their cosmetics line. Their product in my opinion are comparative to some mid end brands and some higher end too. Let's view these new eyeshadows and see swatches.

L-R: Stagedive, Panther, Trashed, Platinum & SellOut

Stagedive: is a blue color with silver specks of glitter. This color is very soft and as with most Wet n Wild eyeshadows; very blend able. The color has great pigmentation. You are bound to get glitter fall out from this eyeshadow color.

Panther: is a black with some grey undertones to it. Very nice color for the smokey eyes or to deepen lighter colors. It's a pigmented black eyeshadow and one to purchase if you are on a budget and need a matte black color.

Trashed: is a combination of grey and black with lots of silver glitter. Beautiful pigmentation and lovely eye lid color for the night on the town when we need that glitter look on the eyes. To reduced the glitter fallout from this shadow; tap off excess on the brush before applying.

Platinum: is just as how the name says it, it's platinum color and would be a great two pair with the previous colors for an awesome smokey eye look. This shadow is super creamy.

Sellout: is a nice deep lavender color and it has some specks of glitter in it. This color is a very beautiful color for the lid and with an intense base color can give a nice bright eye look. A nice use would be a tear duct color to brighten any purple eye makeup look.

MINI HAUL: New Wet N Wild Cosmetics Lipsticks & Eyeshadow

After seeing on random blogs new Wet n Wild cosmetics items, I made it an effort to take a trip to Walgreens to see if I can find the new items. Low and behold I found it and didn't have to travel to several stores to find it. There are four new MegaLast lipsticks, from sight of them my first impression was they look like the newly release colors of MAC collection called Iris Apfel. I did get my hands on those bright MAC lipstick but these Wet n Wild are different shades of pinks, corals and oranges as compared to those.

Here are some swatches and if you don't know about these type of Wet n Wild megalast lipstick goodness, you must be sleeping under a rock. Get them now while the prices are $1.99

Comparisons to Other lipsticks in my Collection

Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick: Dollhouse Pink

L-R: MAC Pink Friday, WnW Dollhouse Pink, MAC Pink Nouveau, Nicka K Pink Tint, Revlon Stormy Pink

MAC Pink Friday & Nicka K Pink Tint look similar to the color but they aren't both those colors are slightly lighter in color than Wet n Wild Dollhouse Pink.

Wet n Wild MegaLast lipstick: Cherry Picking

As you can see nothing compares to this colors, this is a very unique cherry color. I absolutely love it.

MAC Lady Danger is the nearest shade to this color but deeper and more red undertones, but Purty Persimmon is more on the coral side though.

None of the other colors are similar to WnW Don't Blink Pink, another unique color again. Love the pigmentation.

FOTD: Profusion Brightening Eye Look

Hey Beauties,

I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year and making the best of it as well as day by day completing their resolutions. This is the first year I have not made any resolutions for the New Year.
Why? I really don't know, maybe because I always don't get all of my resolutions completed so I will be doing what Rihanna says "Live Your Life"

During the Christmas holiday Walgreens had these $0.99 quads in different shades of colors selling. I happen to pick up two to give a try. I really like these quads, If i find them still I will have to get more colors. They are opaque, even though they have some fall out when applied but most shadows do. If you have used Profusion before let me know your thoughts on the brand.

It's been a minute, I hope you all are enjoying your holidays. As we all await to ring in the new year, I would love to introduce you to a cosmetics line that is not getting the recognition it is suppose to. This cosmetics line is known as Ruby Kisses. Ruby Kisses is a cosmetics brand under the mother company of Kiss cosmetics.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving as well as their weekend of shopping. I had a tremendous Thanksgiving spent with my wonderful family and lovely friend.

Hope all is well, here I have a FOTD but..... yes there is a 'but' .... I don't recall half the products I used. Silly me for not jotting down the items. I do recall though that on my lips I am wearing MAC What Joy! lipstick from the Glitter & Ice Collection.

Today I will feature a well known USA drugstore brand that is swiftly emerging with awesome products. If you aren't familiar with Wet N Wild cosmetics well you are gonna be. I have featured swatches of there lipsticks, baked eyeshadows, matte eyeshadows collection and now I will let you know about their Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection.
This Collection has three (3) eyeshadow small palettes that consist of eight (8) shadows per palette. The color ranges from lilacs to earth-tones and to shades of blues. The names in no particular order are: Petal Pusher, Blue Had Me At Hello and Comfort Zone.
