Surprisingly I didn't actually put any weight back on which was good as I had pizza on Saturday, pasta and cheese rolls Sunday at our alldayer, and a few extra bits on Monday. We have been blasted by these commercials for years and most of us strongly believe this to be true.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fruit juice may have up to 8 teaspoons of natural sugar in an eight ounce glass. This is not added sugar but the natural fructose. What may not be natural is squeezing juices. Fruits are meant to be eating whole in their natural state.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fruit juices have many healthy nutrients and vitamins that are beneficial. Are these benefits being surpassed by the quantities of sugar in them?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sweet drinks are linked to preschool obesity whether they are Kool-Aid or natural juices. Preschoolers are better off snacking on whole fruit.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One Head Start program banned juice as an anti-obesity effort after finding one out of five students were obese.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The American Academy of Pediatrics states that toddlers and preschool aged children should be limited to just 4-6 ounces of fruit juice per day. The APP states that fruit juice offers no nutritional benefits over whole fruit.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you consume fruits whole in their natural state you consume them with the natural fiber and other ingredients that checks sugar absorption.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is important for you to restrict your intake of fruit juices especially if you have any of the following problems.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• High Blood Pressure&lt;br /&gt;
• Overweight&lt;br /&gt;
• Diabetes&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Whole fruits are healthy but you may still want to eat them in moderation if you have any of the above issues. Whole fruits are more desirable then juices in any case.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some of the healthiest fruits are berries specifically blueberries as their sugar levels are lower than most fruits and they contain an abundance of antioxidants.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So remember juices are high in calories and low in fiber. This will leave you hungry while rapidly adding excess sugar unnecessary. Sometimes just eliminating sugar water, pop, and juices will bring fantastic results.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you want to try juicing stick with vegetables as they are lower in sugars than fruits.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Most of us have grown up thinking that fruit juice is one of the healthiest things for us. We may need to reconsider this. And then there are fruit drinks which aren't even 100% fruit juice. Just keep in mind that many commodities being sold are produced to make capital not to enhance your health.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You want to make intelligent informative decisions. Do research whenever you can. You can certainly track down a lot of relevant information on search engines but you will have to decide how correct this advice is.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Instead of grabbing calories in a bottle consider a fresh piece of delicious fruit. Blueberries are one of the top quality fruits containing plenty of antioxidants while maintaining lower sugar content then most other fruits. I find that nature knows best when it comes to nutrition. I still have not found that tree with quarts of OJ hanging from it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Well now I can't wait to bite into that delicious crunchy apple!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I've been having a maximum of 22 points a day but try and stop at 20. To make it easier for the first week I have more or less had the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. For breakfast I have all bran with 2 ounces of strawberries, 2 ounces of blueberries, half a small banana, an ounce of linseed/flaxseed and a little skimmed milk with a coffee. Lunch is usually 2 slices of toast (weight watchers bread) with marmite and a salad. As Tues - Thursday I get up at 5 am I have been having a weight watchers yogurt with a little porridge oats mid afternoon. Dinner is a weight watchers wrap with low fat cottage cheese, lettuce, cucumber and salsa, followed by 5 squares of dark chocolate and a glass red wine. If I have any points left I sometimes have a weight watchers biscuit. I think on the whole it's a good healthy diet. Also I have been using the wii fit plus most days and exercise for at least 30 mins. One or two glasses of red wine every night with dark chocolate but looks like I was wrong. I have been dieting since February and managed to lose 43 pounds for my holiday at the end of July. I started on the slim-fast and lost about 16 pounds then I went on the weight watchers points losing the rest of the 43 pounds in time for my holiday. The weight watchers seemed to almost come to halt after the holiday so I started on the dark chocolate and red wine in hope of losing more weight for the alldayer we are having next Sunday. To my surprise after just 2 nights I had lost 3 pounds, hope it keeps working!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Principles that work&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;The first principle is that the diet must be high in protein.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;High  in carbs and high in fat just aren't healthy options. Protein is  powerful simply because it is truly part of who you are. You're body is  made up of proteins. Protein in meals supercharges your metabolism. It  knocks out hunger by suppressing appetite. It's a must in any &lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #f1c232;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;a class="kLink" href="http://goarticles.com/article/Diets-That-Work-For-Weight-Loss-and-Diets-That-Don-t-Work-For-Weight-Loss/1918399/#" id="KonaLink2" style="font-family: inherit ! important; font-size: inherit ! important; font-weight: inherit ! important; position: static; text-decoration: underline ! important;"&gt;weight loss diet&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;The  second principle is that the diet needs to effectively spread out the  calories in smaller meals and if possible, front-load those calories  earlier in the day. If you eat 2 or 3 big meals a day, your digestive  system won't be efficient. It just won't happen. It get backed up. It's  much better to eat the same amount of calories, but in more frequent,  smaller meals. The added digestive efficiency will help go a long way  towards weight loss. Also, if possible, move more of those meals to  earlier in the day so your body doesn't become desperate for cravings in  the afternoon and after dinner.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;2. Principles that don't work&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Starving  yourself is the first principle. Starving yourself down-regulates your  metabolism. Your body will cling to the foods that you do eat. End  result... those foods become bodyfat. It's a bodily survival mechanism  that's thousands of years old. Don't fight it. Any weight you lose  through starvation will pile back on you within a few weeks or months.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;The  second principle is to NEVER drink your calories, except for in protein  shakes. Most liquid calories are empty sugar calories. They're 100%  USELESS to you and your body. If you need that sweet taste, use Stevia  packets to sweeten your water. They work great and allowed me to stop  drinking sodas in 3 days. I haven't looked back too.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Weight loss  really isn't that complicated of a thing. I just gave you 2 principles  of diets that work for weight loss and 2 principles of diets that don't  work for weight loss... use them because they'll take you pretty far.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
