I felt that my Samsung phone was a defective one. I have three phones in the family and mine gets dropped calls/inability to text/missed texts etc. I attempted to return this defective phone only to receive an email saying I can't because it's pass the 14 day period. If you review the return policy, you will see it's EXTREMELY difficult (if not impossible) to make any kind of return even for a defective product. If you used the phone for more than 30min, you can't return it without a 50% restocking fee. Wow. Chances are, you will use it for more than 30min. Honestly, I wouldn't buy a phone after reviewing the policy. It is my fault for assuming amazon has a standard 30day return policy and for assuming amazon takes care of their customers. I would rather pay full price at a legitimate store for the warranty alone. Cell phones are never guaranteed to function properly. Do you want to take that $300 risk?
Here's the important stuff that I quote from the return policy:
"All International phones are not USA manufacture warranty, and no our store warranty neither, including the accessories
If there is returned and refund needed, has to be return item within 14 business days from the delivery, and with buyer own expense. After 14 days there is no returned and refund acceptable no matter what problem on the phone.
Our 14 days return period only effect for defective phone, or ShopEbest sends out wrong order. Any other reasons would cost buyer 20% to 25% of restocking fee.
50% restocking fee will be charger, if buyer returning phone not as brand new condition and not in resell able condition , such as missing plastic bag, phone's life time minute has been used more than 30 minutes, writing on the box, screen protector is missing on the screen, missing accessories, etc.
All unlocked phone's feature is not 100% guarantee suitable to all locked same network frequency carrier. Due to every carrier has their own network frequency and setting on their features. Please kindly check out if the phone's 2G, 3G or 4G suitable for your phone carrier, before place the order."
UPDATE: Don't get this if you plan to use T-mobile. T-mobile runs on a different frequency band that this phone doesn't support. Your phone will WORK but it won't be as good as a phone that also works with ALL of T-mobile's frequency bands. - By Tabin

I purchased this phone as a replacement to the Samsung Galaxy S3 I had that died a horrible death; details not needed...! I wasn't willing to put out the $400 for a replacement Galaxy, even though I loved it.
Compared to the GS3, for the price, this phone is a stunning replacement! It's a little heavier, sure, but I'm perfectly fine with that. I have experienced no problems with it whatsoever, having had it in hand since the Dec. 18th. Everything seems to run smoothly, with no hiccups through T-Mobile's service. I have dropped down from 4G speed to 3G, but this is entirely so minor as not to be a complaint whatsoever. I do not experience lags over the network at home which is where use is heaviest.
Phone calls are clear. If you toggle the volume up, prepare for a loud ringer...There is a tiny gap between "soft" and "loud" on this phone. This is also good for me, however, and the alarm apps I have, as I can sleep through most alarms and phone calls. I do not have any problems with loose buttons on my model, either, which I had prepared for.
The back of the phone is less irritating to deal with than the Galaxy's - it's not thin and I don't feel as if it will break when I remove the back of the phone. Once you get the hang of removing the back, which you honestly shouldn't have to do often, it's not that agonizing of an experience, plus the phone comes with instructions on how to remove the back if you are fearful of breaking it.
Cameras are important to me in a phone. With static images I have not noticed any drop in performance over the Galaxy. However, with some movement quality drops, but I am still learning how to use it and generally have an easy time mastering camera phones despite their limitations. I haven't played with it as much as I intend to yet, so I can't really comment on how well the camera will treat me when I've learned it.
The screen is clear, bright, and stunning, and I have no complaints there either. It may be smaller than the Galaxy's, but again, as someone who uses the phone primarily for social media and to communicate for other projects when I am out and about, as well as keep schedules and tasks in order it does not bother me whatsoever to lose .5cm of the screen.
The device does everything I ask it to do without hitch, therefore I granted it a 5-star rating. For the price, it's a great device and I do not see much loss between it versus the SG3, of which mine was always a factory set and not a rooted device. - By H. L. Zanitsch

I purchased this for my mom, for a friend, and for a cousin. I have to say I am very impressed with this little device. Just so you know where I'm coming from, my cell phone history starts with my current Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, Blaze 4G... and it goes on and on and on. I am a smart phone aficionado, and this little thing impresses me.
The screen has great viewing angles, and looks great in general. I dare say I like the color and viewing angles better than on my Nexus 5. The blacks don't become a light grey at the extreme corner angles. Obviously, my 5" 1080p is more of a pleasure to use than the 4.5" 720p overall, but I had to comment on just how rich and beautiful the Moto G display is. The size means that it has a PPI of about 329. The iPhone 5's retina display, for comparison, sits at 326ppi. The vast majority of people will need no more than what this display has to offer. And, AND... it's wrapped in Gorilla Glass 3. Not that it should really matter that much, I've had Gorilla Glass scratch and seen it shatter so it isn't a super material... but some people will be glad to have it.
The Quad Core 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 was fast enough for me. According to some benchmarks I've seen, it supposedly runs about as fast as the Nexus 4. The difference seems to be that this CPU simply sips on the battery. But, I'll get to more on that later. The GPU seemed fast enough for me on the benchmarks I'd run. Not the fastest, but by no means slow. The device doesn't have as much RAM at 1GB as higher end phones which tend to come in at 2GB. However for the average person this will not matter. Android's memory management is pretty good. While a power user might be able to occasionally catch blips associated to the lack of extra ram, the average user will never see it.
For a casual user, the battery life will simply be phenomenal. My own mom, with some light-ish use on mostly 3G network access did 21% battery use over 24 hours, and 55% over 3 days before charging. That's just crazy. Simply bananas. As a disclaimer, I bought 4 phones total and ran into a bug on one of my phones (that others have reported as well on some units) where a full discharge of the battery was not able to be recharged from fully dead without some serious fiddling. I managed to get that phone charging again and decided to try and run the battery down (testing) and I ran into problems. I couldn't tax the battery. I ran benchmarks, 3D intensive simulations, etc... the thing would not give up it's battery. I'm returning the questionable phone, but given that there are bad eggs in any production batch, I'm not docking any stars. I think this phone is worth the 5 stars, regardless of the occassional bad build.
Cons? There's no "advanced" features. There's no LTE (4G) radio on board. There's no NFC sensor for sharing links or doing financial transactions. There's no wireless charging, nor any 802.11ac support for the WiFi. However the average user might not really care about, or need, those things. LTE would've been nice, and most people have been convinced that they need 4G in their lives. However many are reporting real-life 3-4Mb/s transfer rates on their Moto G's... I get 12Mb/s on my DSL. How much speed do you really need to check the weather? I don't see how NFC didn't make the cut, but I guess at the price I can't complain. I'm not wild that the volume rocker is on the same side as the power button, but that's not a big deal.
Pros? This phone feels great in the hand. It has a good weight. I never liked the ultra-light feel of the samsung flagship phones. The phone feels solid despite having a user removable back plate. Oh, and you can replace the back plate with colorful replacements, or flip covers, or what have you.
For most anyone, this will be an absolutely fantastic choice. Don't be afraid, just buy it. - By Kendrick Vargas

I got really excited when I get this phone, it looked cool and sleek... BUT, guess what, it was locked and the default language on this phone was some type of Polish, Russian or some weird East European Language. This made me believe that this phone was stolen by a clerk working for a Russian T-Mobile service provider or some East European National Wireless provider... anyway, I figured out to switch it back to English, to my dismay, the phone is LOCKED and can NOT work on US service providers.
... so I called my provider (T-Mobile) hoping to get help... after 30 minutes of being on-hold, the T-Mobile folks did not recognize the iemei number on the phone (it's Russian); and could not help me. They suggested that I call Samsung. 45 minutes of wait, someone sends me to an online web site where they have instructions to download a bunch of software.
I follow the instruction, I plug the phone onto a USB connector, then download various files, pay $19.95 to European SIM unlocking services, then another $14.95 to make it work on US providers, then I paid $4.95 to make sure that the phone is NOT black-listed... I still can't make it work. I wasted about 8 hours on this piece of junk.
I am returning it... don't make the same mistake if you are a busy person and value your time.

The TouchWiz UI is, as usual, a slow and convoluted mess. Stock Android, while not as smooth an experience as iOS, is light years ahead of TouchWiz. What Samsung does to Google's baby could arguably be called abuse. And because Samsung will not allow stock Android on its devices, users are stuck waiting for them to implement TouchWiz on new versions of Android. Unfortunately, this means that the S Duos is stuck now and possibly forever, on Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4. Nevermind that KitKat 4.4 could run on the S Duos; because Samsung hasn't said yes, it won't happen. Is this what an open computing platform is supposed to be? It is possible, however, to install CM 10.1 on this handset. The downside to that is you lose dual-SIM functionality, this handset's distinguishing feature. Dual SIM support is not native to Android and its implementation is up to the manufacturer and Samsung (and LG, Sony, etc) aren't giving up their secrets.
The hardware side of the S Duos isn't any better. The TFT screen is nicely saturated, but even at 50% brightness, blacks are washed out and gray. The TFT panel doesn't have very good viewing angles, either. The digitizer is, in my experience, extremely finicky: swipes register as taps and apps are launched without warning because the air somehow managed to trigger a tap. I could be holding the S Duos in hand with no fingers or palm within a centimeter of the screen and an app could launch. Touch input also suffers because this handset is extremely prone to lag. The single-core, 1GHz Cortex A5 CPU and Andreno 205 GPU do not perform well at all. If you expect to use only stock Samsung (not Google!) apps on this handset, you might be fine and experience little lag. Otherwise, prepare to have even the keyboard app stutter due to lag.
Build quality is likewise shoddy. The phone is all plastic. That is to be expected at this segment, but where LG and Sony have similar handsets that feel like premium devices, the S Duos feels cheap. It also looks cheap. After about a month of use, the paint on the gray plastic that makes up the side of the device is white in spots. The USB port is likewise spotted. That's right, Samsung couldn't even be bothered to use colored plastic, instead opting to paint white plastic. The battery is a 1500mAh unit. If you are a heavy user of things like the stock SMS app, expect to run down the battery at around the 8-hour mark. Nevermind streaming movies over 3G or taking pictures all day. Really, don't bother taking pictures because the 2GB of onboard storage means that after the OS and Samsung's bloatware, users really only have access to less than half that amount.
Even after all that complaining, I can find one other terrible thing about the S Duos: it powers down randomly. Whether in my pocket, in my hand, or on a table, sometimes the S Duos will just power down completely. It turns itself off, even when in the middle of audio playback.
As soon as I am able, I will replace this piece of garbage phone. I have my eye on an LG Optimus L7 II Dual, Sony Xperia M dual, or Sony Xperia C. Needing dual-SIM support means I am effectively stuck in the midrange of Android devices, and that's fine with me. I just wish I hadn't wasted nearly $200 on this terrible phone and Samsung has definitely lost a customer in me. - By Jason T.

Delivery in 2 days, new factory unlocked phone in un-opened box with all accessories advertised. I,m in rural NW USA, did a speed test and got data speeds of 3mb/s on sim1 AT&T, not sure about sim2 H2O yet. You have to choose witch sim you want to receive data from, not both at the same time.
Edit: After a few weeks use, I noticed the battery life on this phone is very good. I can normally get 12 hours standby with checking emails a dozen times or so and a couple phone calls, checking out a couple web sites, etc. and still have 80% battery left. Checking speed test in the city (Seattle) I was getting 6mb/s. The dual sim function allows me to carry one device for work and personal with different ringtones of my choice, work and personal email, text and calling. The 4.2.2 software works seamless with no lag on common apps. Haven't tried any games although. - By Ed

This phone is amazing but ... I am with T-Mobile and the internet and apps are very slow when I am hooked to their network, however when I hook up to wi-fi the video's and internet are very quick. This isn't the phone's fault, it's either T-Mobile or our metal roof interfering with the signal. I gave it 4 stars because I am somewhat disappointed that it doesn't have a LED to alert me to new messages or emails although it will play a sound. It also has nothing to alert me when the phone is fully charged after being plugged in. I was unable to find accessories for it locally as far as cases and sleeves but I was able to find them on Amazon at very reasonable prices. Other than that it was an excellent buy and I am amazed at what all it can do. I actually purchased 2 of these, one for my husband and he is very pleased as well. - By CJ

i dont understand why there are so many bad reviews, the phone is GREAT!!!!
okay guys, youre paying less than 100 bucks for the phone, you cant set your standards too high. But this phone is actually pretty amazing. I really have fallen in love with it. its very responsive and quick to the touch. The box includes, phone, flip over case (nice quality), two batteries, standard headphones,screen cover, usb charger with base. the cord to the charger isnt long at all, so you might want to by a longer one, just for convenience. Its a standard android charger, you'll have no issue finding a nice one for a cheap price. the speakers on this phone are AMAZING. very loud and clear. the phone looks exactly like a galaxy s4, most clones have a yellowish tint to the flash located under the camera. however the flash on this phone is clear, giving it a realistic look. im going to go ahead and say, if you are trying to buy a $100.00 phone, this is it! this is coming for someone who has had many phones. from iphones to windows to androids. this is a real favorite of mine. now i just have to wait and see how long this phone will last. - By Jade

This phone is a piece of crap, no its worst than crap. I bought 2 of them as gifts for 2 close friends of mine. First of all it is super slow and it constantly freezes. It was sold with 2 batteries each and the batteries and none of the batteries hold charge. The camera is awful. By the way its a beautifully designed phone, just looking at it but please don't waist any money on this phone. Amazon need to remove this phone from its web site. I was ripped off and i think this is some kind of scam. I only wish I could get my money back.
BUT WAIT! Here is the thing that really pissed me off, I bought the phones and you know how where it says "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" items. well i also bought the case for the phone and it was too damn small for the phone - lol.

I am from Costa Rica and I have been buying things online for more than 4 years and I have never experienced something like what happened with this seller. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3, as described in the product's title, but when the product arrived, I realize this isn't the product I purchased, I received an Android GT A7100, which is the S3's CHINESE version !!
This is an outrage. I have talked to the seller and they insist that they sent the right cellphone and the problem lies with the courier, something everyone here in Costa Rica knows it's practically impossible. Aeropost, my courier, does not touch the contents of the packages that are sent and they are not open until it is delivered.
It's not possible that out of 35 negative reviews, most of them deal with the same problem. Today, March 20th, 2013, history repeats itself with this seller. I'm disgusted and I believe Amazon should do something with this seller quickly and find a way to avoid this type of repeated mistakes.

I got the S3 yesterday, since I owned a iPhone 4S here the comparison:
DESIGN: Galaxy S3 design is stunning, the feeling on hands is incredible. The ergonomics makes all the difference. The iPhone 4S is very squarish and definitely more solid but heavier too (way heavier);
SCREEN: Galaxy S3 screen is wonderful with vivid colours and sharp imaages, 4,8 inches vs 3.5 of the iPhone, after you make the transition you wont never come back, impossible.
OPERATING SYSTEM: S3 usability is a boom. iPhone is good but never at the level of the S3, way way slower.
BATTERY: S3 gets full day + 30% remaining battery, iPhone last till four or five PM;
GPS: Galaxy S3 gets locked in less than 10 seconds inside a building, iPhone searches and searches with no success;
CAMERA: they are very similar, S3 is faster and iPhone is may be a bit better in term of quality. No dramatic difference.
S-VOICE vs SIRI: they are both very basic and more fun than usefull.
USB-BLUETOOTH: iPhone only works with iTunes, no Bluetooth, no radio. Galaxy S3 can be usb-connected to computers and flashmemory, it has easy bluetooth connection and yes ... it has an amazing radio :)
APPS: to be sincere, all relevants apps in iPhones are present in Android. They have better design but they are at payment while in Android are always free. No mayor differences.
Galaxy S3 is an extraordinary good purchase. Recommended for all ex-iPhone users. You wont regret, there is a world outside iTunes :) - By Luca Cascianini

I've heard a lot of back and forth reviews on this. I love this phone. I live in the U.S. and i have consumer cellular as my phone provider. I bought this phone, stuck my sim card in it, and had no trouble at all setting it up. All i had to do was go through initial set up steps like language settings (it was in English (ireland) and i changed it to english (united states)). Connected to our WIFI and the WIFI at my work without any problems...this phone amazes me with what it can do in a phone that's not overly bulky. I love this smartphone, it has the optimal size, not too big as the SIII and not small as others smartphones.
The dual core CPU gives the correct performance and speed to this phone.
I must really say that I'm impressed with the touchscreen, sensitive and smooth.
I bought the International version, sold by Amazon due I read some "1star" comments of different buyers; like users received an used phone, with logos of AT&T or others. This one, sold by Amazon is almost USD 40 more expensive but you'll receive what you want. A new phone, unused, without logos.
The only thing I need to mention is when you turn on at first time, the Languge is in Hungarian (or something like that), I used google traductor to change it to Spanish, the one I need. So this is not a big matter, but I need to mention it.

There are just three features the mini don't have that the S4 has: the drama shot, the duel shot, and the hover sensor. Other than that, you can hardly tell the difference! The title say "Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9190 Unlocked International Version - White" and I have to say it is not the 9190, it is the 9192, basicly the same phone but dual sim, at first I was upset because it wasn't what I bought, but I'm from an other country and it took long time to sent the phone to me, so it wasn't easy to send it back right away because I'm going to USA in march, so I thought that I should not make a big deal out of it... so I was happy with it, and it is actually a very good phone, perfect size, good screen, I love android (I had a Windows Phone before, it was good but now I think a prefer Android), but what really bothered me was that when I turned on the phone and was putting my settins, specificly the google account (pretty much the most important one) it just collapsed, I spend a whole day trying to do the that so I could use the phone properly (download apps from the market for example) and I just couldn't, I even had to do a hard reset to the phone, that one pressing the home button+volume up+power button, and then it let me do all the settings... it works great but every 2 days o once a day it shut down, and a had to start it again, or it simply reset itself... I really dont know why, if its a refurbished peace (it doesn't seen like it was), I havent istalled a lot of things, basics stuff (and candy crush of couse LOL), but I really cant say what the problem is... - By Reinita55

I purchased this phone as a replacement to the Samsung Galaxy S3 I had that died a horrible death; details not needed...! I wasn't willing to put out the $400 for a replacement Galaxy, even though I loved it.
Compared to the GS3, for the price, this phone is a stunning replacement! It's a little heavier, sure, but I'm perfectly fine with that. I have experienced no problems with it whatsoever, having had it in hand since the Dec. 18th. Everything seems to run smoothly, with no hiccups through T-Mobile's service. I have dropped down from 4G speed to 3G, but this is entirely so minor as not to be a complaint whatsoever. I do not experience lags over the network at home which is where use is heaviest.
Phone calls are clear. If you toggle the volume up, prepare for a loud ringer...There is a tiny gap between "soft" and "loud" on this phone. This is also good for me, however, and the alarm apps I have, as I can sleep through most alarms and phone calls. I do not have any problems with loose buttons on my model, either, which I had prepared for.
The back of the phone is less irritating to deal with than the Galaxy's - it's not thin and I don't feel as if it will break when I remove the back of the phone. Once you get the hang of removing the back, which you honestly shouldn't have to do often, it's not that agonizing of an experience, plus the phone comes with instructions on how to remove the back if you are fearful of breaking it.
Cameras are important to me in a phone. With static images I have not noticed any drop in performance over the Galaxy. However, with some movement quality drops, but I am still learning how to use it and generally have an easy time mastering camera phones despite their limitations. I haven't played with it as much as I intend to yet, so I can't really comment on how well the camera will treat me when I've learned it.
The screen is clear, bright, and stunning, and I have no complaints there either. It may be smaller than the Galaxy's, but again, as someone who uses the phone primarily for social media and to communicate for other projects when I am out and about, as well as keep schedules and tasks in order it does not bother me whatsoever to lose .5cm of the screen.
The device does everything I ask it to do without hitch, therefore I granted it a 5-star rating. For the price, it's a great device and I do not see much loss between it versus the SG3, of which mine was always a factory set and not a rooted device. - By H. L. Zanitsch

Okay. I was definitely worried about buying this phone at first because it was an international, factory unlocked phone. But, I really wanted the phone so I decided to go with it. When I got the phone, it looked awesome! The only sucky part was that the instruction manuals were all in French... But, Í can just watch reviews on YouTube about it. No problem. However, when I went to put my SIM card in, it would not fit. It was WAY too big for it because the phone takes a microSIM card. So crap. But I was so determined to use the phone I was not going to let that get me down. I contacted my local provider- I read reviews from other people on here that said to do so- but they weren't much help. This one lady was like "Oh, you just break open your SIM card and the micro one I inside of it". I was like umm okay that's not gonna happen. So, I googled it and then found this DIY on cnet that instructs you how to make a microSIM card out of your regular SIM card by cutting it. I felt really adventurous and decided to give it a try because if worse came to worse I would just have to pay $25 for a microSIM. So,I watched the video, followed the instructions, and I did it! It was not hard to do at all. Then, I took my freshly cut miroSIM card and put it in the phone. It fit perfectly. I turned the phone on and first it couldn't find my provider but then I selected a different option in the service section in setting and up popped my provider. I needed a lighter phone than my Google Nexus and was very close to getting an iPhone 5 due to the size and weight, but thankfully a colleague told me about the S4 mini before switching over! This phone is absolutely awesome. I am one of those people who HATE big screen phones, so this is a Godsend for me. It's fast. Perfect size. Light. Built extremely well for a "mini" model. Many many features. It's the perfect iPhone killer and has a much lower radiation output too.
Its SAR rating (radiation level) is hardly 0.33 watts per kilogram of body mass (on a scale of 0 to 1.60!). Phones with such a low SAR rating are very rare, and much lower than the iPhone 5 which is a whopping 1.6 watts per kilogram!
The best part, it's UNLOCKED so you can use tethering all you want with no extra charges. Just be warned, LTE may not work on many carriers so check that ahead of time. Mine runs on AT&T HSPA+ and I'm happy with the speed.
Don't listen to the bad reviews here. People complaining about the Micro SIM are just delusional, any major carrier will provide a new SIM for free. Just make sure you get a SAMSUNG SEALED PHONE or send it back! The first one I received was not sealed and wasn't even LTE. Amazon exchanged it for the right one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! - By Sam

I've only played with the phone a bit (bought it as a gift for a family member), so this isn't a comprehensive review, but here's my verdict: the touch interface is responsive, the screen resolution is acceptable, Google Maps runs well, voice search/text is on par with the latest phones, and the phone feels solidly built. I have no input on battery life or durability at this point, but I have little doubt my family member will find this to be an impressive, if not completely adequate, first smartphone. After playing with this phone for a while. I can say for certain that this is the best unlocked phone you can buy for $129. I will update the review as I get used to it.
For starter, it is fast enough for most daily activities. more on that later...
Some specs that most review are missing:
Comes with a charging cable and power adapter but they are all one piece i.e., cable is attached to the adapter. If you need to plug it into PC then you need to get your own usb cable. Also on the downside, the adapter has a max rating of 550mA and is made in India which I wasn't expecting. The charger charges a bit slow which might be deliberately done to extend the battery life. I just plugged it into a different adapter and it is charging fast. Build quality of the phone is good and is just like Moto G if you have played around with it. Feels solid and it doesn't feel like the cheap Nokia 520 phone.
Giving it 5 star due to its price and feature. If you are going to buy it then know its limitations! - By Usdev

I ordered the phone Friday April 11th before lunch time, and selected one day shipping. I then called the seller to confirm they had it in stock and it would be going out. They told me shipping cut off for the day was 5pm (plenty of time) and they were just waiting on Amazon to send them my order details to their computer system.
The phone did not arrive until Wednesday April 16th. I am disappointed it took 5 days when i paid for one day shipping.
Second issue was when i opened the package they sent me the SM-G900F model. As you can see they clearly state more than once in the item description they are selling the SM-G900H version. After researching the difference it looks like the G900F is supposed to have LTE bands 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz which the G900H does not have. However when i put my T-Mobile SIM in, i can not get LTE, I only get HSPA+.
Third issue is the manufactures seal on the box was broken, the box had been opened. All of the accessories appear to be accounted for. The clear plastic static shields where still attached to the screen and back of the phone. However when i turned the phone on someone had already went through the setup screens. You know when you first turn on a new phone it ask you your language, owners name, basic setup questions, etc, before getting to the home screen. So i went into the settings and did a factory reset.

My phone was defective when it arrived - it wouldn't read any SIM cards. I returned it and they refuse to exchange it. They claim that I flashed it and lost the IMEI#. I did none of that. I returned it exactly as I got it, with one exception: I left the USB cable at home. Since I didn't want to go back home to get it, I expected to get charged for a new one. But they made stuff up about me flashing it to get out of exchanging the defective phone.
If you get this phone, DO NOT BUY FROM SHOPEBEST. Get it somewhere else. I got scammed for more than $700 and have nothing to show for it.
Watch out for this fraudulent seller.

The first time I got it I immediately returned it because it was not unlocked. But the seller has a code to unlock it so it worked out well in the end. No problems with the phone about a week in. If you like the windows market, you'll like this phone. Although its somewhat basic, lacking higher end features like a front-facing camera, back camera of lower quality, if that isn't a problem then I would highly recommend this phone. Its very solid and feels good in the hand. After having it for a week now I definitely got a good feel of the phone now. Out of the box I loved it!!! It was stylish, fast and pretty easy to use and set up. I loved how ez it was to customize everything. The phone is lightening fast running multiple apps seamlessly and for an average cell phone user it was more than enough to run tasks like light web browsing, media and messaging. There were some things I had a little problem with for example if your a big music person the stock music player doesn't have lock screen functions which is a BIG thing for me but winamp easily fixed that seamlessly syncing your playlists, etc from the stock android player. The stock messaging keyboard didn't have very good predictive text and it wasn't very good for typing long messages quickly so I ended up downloading swiftkey which is definitely worth it if you're a big texter and like typing quickly and accurately. The phone's internal memory itself comes out to be barely 4 gb compared to the 8 that was advertised and you aren't able to store apps onto the SD card which could be a bit of a problem if you're an app fanatic. But for personal files and media, expanding it with a 32gb sd card is no problem. The last issue I had with this phone was if you plan on using this phone without using mobile data, you won't be able to view multimedia messages using wifi because the s3 line requires you to download it through the carrier's network. All these were little hiccups in an otherwise amazing phone. You can't beat the features and design of the phone with the price. I would definitely recommend this phone in a heartbeat. - By swimguppy

Hi guys,
I must admit that I when I purchased this mobile, I was a little afraid. I had read lots of reviews and watched some videos on YouTube before the purchase. Anyway, I was worried mainly because of the screen resolution (480 x 800, that means no HD), the battery life and the size of the screen.
I can tell you, this mobile is just awesome! It comes with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean installed, which is so beautiful and fluid. The screen is great, battery life is very good and the size of the screen is, in my opinion, perfect. I've never considered the "regular" Samsung Galaxy S3 because it is way to big for me. I wanted something quite small (although the screen is bigger than an iPod touch 4th gen), responsible, attractive and efective. This mobile is excellent for me! :-).
The mobile accept 3G, it has smart stay, and all those "high-tech" features like his bigger brother the S3.

After the upgrade completed, I noticed at once that this phone is lightning fast and the touchscreen is very, very fast and responsive! This is the THIRD update that I received since I purchased this phone in April 2013. Each update is not that large, however, it enhances the performance of this phone. Excellent phone I was very happy with when I received it. Display and camera far surpasses my expectations. I purchased this in preparation for a sudden and temporary stint overseas whose country runs on a GSM network. Perfect size and great functionality are my primary comments for this phone. Recent Region-locking of newer Samsung units (including the one I received) made me take two stars from what could have been a guilt-free 5-star rating from me. For those assured of a FULLY unlocked model, I will fully recommend this - especially with its dual sim feature which prompted me to take a chance on this. A US Samsung rep confirmed that Region locked models only need to be activated in their native region for them to work as intended Internationally afterwards. I believed this and used mine (American SIM Model) for a week on a US-prepaid Sim while I was still home. Unfortunately, now that I'm already in the Philippines for my half-year stint, the phone still locked and gave me a screen saying "Network locked SIM inserted", and asking for an Unlock code when I inserted a Philippine SIM Card. I bought this to use with a U.S. pay-as-you-go carrier that I won't name here, but I've been happy with them. And I'm very happy with this phone. It's important to keep in mind that this is a scaled-down version of the S4. It's smaller in size, which makes it a lot easier to get out of my pocket; I'm not going to be watching Avatar on a cell phone. But it's got a lighter-weight processor than the S4, so it's scaled down on some of the features, too. Things like being able to make gestures without having to touch the phone - after you make your friends say gee whiz once, who cares? Less bloatware means the S4 Mini performs quickly with the processor that it has, and the battery lasts all day for me, too (though like I said, I'm not streaming movies). What I do miss, though, is no notification light after you get a text, email, missed call, etc. Also, its on-board memory is a skimpy 8 GB, and the system is going to use about 3 GB of that, so you definitely want to buy a high-speed micro SD card to expand your memory - especially if you want to listen to music, take a lot of photos and videos, etc. It will handle up to a 64 GB card; I got an inexpensive Class 10 32 GB here on Amazon. As an earlier reviewer mentioned, I can't get the "I'm looking at you, phone, so don't turn off the screen" feature to work either. But considering you're paying far less than you would for a grown up S4, or for an iPhone, the S4 Mini is a great bargain. I've done a *ton* of reading on phones and had narrowed it down to the S4, the HTC One, and the iPhone 5.
I wanted to comment on a few things you don't read in reviews. My two big worries about the device after pre-purchase research were: the ugly exterior and TouchWiz.
Regarding the exterior, personally, I think the HTC One looks the most attractive, but after you put a case on it, they all look roughly the same. Secondly, I actually prefer the feather light weight of the plastic S4 over the prettier but heavier premium metal finishes.
Regarding TouchWiz: I was worried it would slow the phone down, and that definitely is not a problem. This phone is *extremely* responsive and fast. Obviously, the speed is due to the internal hardware not the skin, but the TouchWiz skin isn't getting in the way. Also, TouchWiz has a variety of minor additions that are more practical than the stock Android counterparts. I didn't expect that. For example, I like the TouchWiz keyboard and dialer and incoming call GUI better the alternatives. They let me do what I want to do more easily. The one big downside of TouchWiz is that much of it is cosmetically ugly. Stock Android and iOS both have a much cleaner/elegant look to them.
Two other plusses: the LTE reception seems to work *way* better than my last Evo 4G LTE phone did. And, while on my home WiFi, my S4 streams YouTube with much less buffering than my Nexus 7 tablet, which surprised me because I would have thought that was strictly a network issue.
Also, the camera, and specs, and feature list is quite amazing, and you can read about that stuff everywhere.

I am in love with this phone. I bought my BLU Advance 4.0 2 weeks now, it arrived within 3 days even though the prime is 2 day shipping but it did arrive on the day when they said it would, a few hours later but that's ok. Now for the phone, it's super wonderful, the internet is super fast, voice search works perfectly, I especially love the keypad, love the message display and the screen is nice and bright. BUT!... unfortunately I have to give a 4(four) because of the camera, it takes great pictures in the day but in the night, awful. My 8 year old daughter said maybe the flash isn't bright enough. Best price for an unlocked new phone. Good looking easy to use with dual SIM, can be used international. May not have all the bells and whistles compared to other high priced phones, but with Android 4.2, Wi-Fi, 5mp camera, 4GB (1.23GB actual) memory, can use up to 32GB micro SD for additional storage, I am getting all I wanted. Comes with a case and screen protector which I never heard of. Bottom line: very good phone for starters for regular use with very attractive price. - By N. Paul

I had been using this phone for over a month now since it came out in Canada and all I can say is WOW! If you are looking for a different and more productive way do stuff, this is the best phone out there. The Hub is probably the best feature on this phone: you can do everything there without even opening the app. Answer emails, reply Whatsapp, BBM, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn... all this from any app that you are using. No more buttons, no more scrolling to the app. you have native DLNA support so you can just "Play To" directly to TV wirelessly without having to buy an Apple TV or something similar. Play music or movies wirelessly! Send emails with multiple attachments... type on the best touchscreen keyboard. you don't even have to hit the correct letter, it will guess what letter you intended to type and correct the word for you. I can even type with my eyes closed! And guess what? do all that at the same time with no penalty (stream wirelessly a movie to TV, browse the internet and answer emails)! the Dual Core feels like its an octo core! Time shift camera is incredible to take picture of kids or big groups.
No lag at all, I haven't rebooted the phone for weeks. bb10 is very efficient in recycling memory so no matter how heavy user you are, the phone will perform flawlessly all the time. I have 5 emails set up, 3 social network account set up. i get about 50 emails per day and over 200 texts message.

I went from an iphone 4s to this and I'm so glad I did. It's an amazing phone and I have nothing bad to say about it at this point. Overall I am very pleased with this phone. I purchased an HTC phone because I had the HTC Incredible and loved it and I wanted to stay with the same user interface. The only reason I purchased a new phone is that I am leaving Verizon and going to Straight Talk and they require a GSM phone.
There have been some reviews indicating that this phone does not work with prepaid carriers but my experience setting this up with Straight Talk has been flawless. You just need to make sure that you purchase an ATT SIM card from Straight Talk's website (Straight Talk uses ATT's towers for this and most other phones). And overall I am also very pleased with Straight Talk both on price and coverage.
I have also read some reviews, both on Amazon and other websites, that indicate the HTC Inspire has poor reception. At first I thought the same thing. But then I realized that the antenna for this phone is actually part of the SIM card cover. I don't know why they did this but if you are having reception issues make sure that the SIM card cover (bottom of phone) is securely and tightly fitted onto the phone. In addition you may need to clean the 2 copper electrodes on the cover and the phone to ensure that you have a good connection.
The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 star is that the manufacturer's box that this phone came in was not in new condition. It had been opened and not handled with care. I assume they have to open the box to "unlock" it from ATT but the box looks to be a year old and dropped a few times. In addition the 8GB SD card was not included as advertised. Not a huge deal for me since they only cost $6 and I had already planned to buy a 16 GB but I wanted to mention this.
Overall I am very pleased with my HTC Inspire. Amazon had excellent and fast delivery as always (fulfilled by Amazon). I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for an unlocked GSM phone for use with Straight Talk or other potential prepaid (better value) services. - By Boiler98

I had read all the negative reviews for this phone but the good ones out weighed the bad so I decided to give it a go. The unit I was sent was defective out of the box and I remembered all the people advising against it. I contacted amazon and they immediately sent out a new phone and gave me a ups label to return the defective one @ no extra cost. The second phone has been working perfectly and amazon's superior customer service took some of the sting off of getting a non working unit the first time. On an additional note, all those warnings of poor battery life, I've gotten the battery so far to go 36 to 40 hours btwn charges. over all it has been worth the price, just be sure to buy from amazon directly as you will then have the their guaranty backing you up. - By Amazon Customer
