I am a mom, designer, wife, daughter, sister, friend,colleague, organizer,

driver, landlord, personal shopper, cleaner and gardener..

and no longer have the extra time to focus on my blog.

I feel it's time to move on, close one door, and open

a new, focus on new possibilities and exciting challenges.

Mindfulness at home

Mind full or mindful?

This weekend I've been trying to practice

mindfulness.

I like the idea of having no plans, just go for a walk,

sit in the garden, play with our little boy,

and really enjoy the little things in life.

I've had a sore neck the last couple of weeks, and

therefore tried a little morning yoga, and I

love it!

So, stretch bend, breathe and relax...

I will definitely try to add a mindfulness/relaxation

room in my next office project...

I love the old architecture, the natural setting,

and this beautiful horse! He was obviously very happy

to finally be out running and enjoying the warm weather.

I've been very busy with settling in my my new home,

pictures will be published HERE, very soon.

Need to ditch the cardboard box-look first..

Anyway, it's time for a new hotel!

Chicago's stunning new Radisson Blu Aqua hotel, by the

brit design studio Graven Images.

The lobby features tough materials such as steel, a huge rug depicting an

abstract image of the Windy City and brass medallions on the walls

for earthy glamour.

oh la la, I've got a new job!

this is not me by the way...

Yes, I've been a very busy girl,mom, designer,contractor

and multi tasker, and I can finally announce that

I am starting a new job at Metropolis interior architects

in Oslo.

They are very talented and I'm sure it will be both interesting and

inspiring! I will sure miss my old job, and the fantastic people working there.

This year is looking good, with a new job and a

new house( in about three weeks time..)

I can't wait:)

Last week I was in Berlin, and popped by this

cool hotel, Amano.

Warm, inviting and very stylish!

I love the lobby, with comfy sofas and the latest magazines!

Inspiration for our new kitchen

We are very much inspired by Adam Prices kitchen. The danish Tv chef and his wife built this amazing kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need for high quality cooking. I don't think we need 3 sinks and taps, but I sure love details, such as the technical lighting, the combination of stone and wooden worktops, shelf with pots and pans and the warm oak floors.

I hope our kitchen will be as warm and inviting as Prices kitchen:)

The hotel is located in Sandane, Norway,
a small village by the fjords,
well known for fishing and hunting.
I designed a new restaurant, new rooms, lobby
and conference centre.
A truly pleasant project, I enjoyed very much:)
